This place is very calm to have food with small town ambience which is rare to see in Gurgaon.Tried Tandoori Chicken and Veg. Manchurian with Veg. Hakka Noodles. Both of them were really good. Manchurian balls were very soft and hakka tasted very good. Tandoori chicken was well roasted and tender from inside. Service is also good.
Overall, it's a place where you can talk with each other and have decently delicious food at a reasonable price.
Food taste is really good. Not too heavy at the same time fresh and tasty. However, the service needs to be faster. For a reasonable, good north Indian food, I liked this place.
Lovely food, they have maintained the quality over the years. The Raan is outstanding and goes well with a nice garloc naan. The Dal makhani is another fav. Highly recommend it
One of the oldest and delicious North Indian serving restaurant. Been there not once but lot of times with my family, friends and colleagues. Highly appreciate the gratitude of the staff and delicious tasting food. Love there raan and specially its size which is enough for 4 people. It is actually cost cutting and best to order if you are with lot of people. Kebabs are also very good and moist. It will be a dishonesty if I wouldn't say that it's one of my favourite places near my house
Halki Aanch serves amazing food and provides a warm service. Our favourites are the Ran, Burra Kebabs, crispy corn, butter chicken, and the list goes on.

Good consistent quality of food. Have been ordering for years. Must try! Really a no brainer when have to order home delivery on the go. Specially like the yellow daal as it almost feels like home cooked.
Tried minced chicken with egg hakka noodles what an amazing combo. Tastes absolutely fabulous and really liked the minced chicken and the taste. I have never tried such chicken ever. Thai curry was order by my friend with rice it was nice with lot of exortic veggies. I m not that fan of Thai food still it was nice with lemon glass fragrance. Paneer tikka was in starters which was well marinated paneer with veggies. Liked the softness of the paneer and it was not very dry. So overall tried different cuisines and I liked everything so you can try any cuisine here they are good.
We have been going to this restaurant for years now and everything from food, service and value for money is perfect. Our favourite dishes are butter chicken, Kadhai chicken and the kebabs. Neetu who runs this place is a wonderful person and her personal touch and interaction with the guests goes a long way in making the experience great. I would highly recommend this restaurant for takeaways or dine-in.
Nice and cozy restaurant. Went out with my roommate. Month end with money crunch but we could ate nice food over here with less money. Tried there Reshmi malai tikka which were actually mouth melting soft. Even tried there honey cripy chicken which was nice crunchy starter. I even liked Mutton Galoti which was tender soft Mutton Galoti with thin chapati to roll it and eat. It was delicious and tasted fantastic. We got butter chicken packed with naan and it was a great meal.

Starting from Soups Department; Tomato Soup n Hot & Sour Soup is a must try. Aachari Aloo, Kadhai Paneer & Dal Makhani is my favorite in main course with Laccha Paratha n Missi Roti.

Wow! The best butter chicken you can find in G town ! If your a true dilliwallah and understand and know your butter chicken well then this is the place to have authentic butter chicken in gurugram. It is so good that it can easily be compared to the likes of havemore and Gulati in pandara road . No one was at home and I was only left with a option to eat bread butter. Suddenly bell rang and my neighbour arrive. We both are same age. We planned to order from halki aanch because it was nearby.

Tucked away in the back side of the Arjun marg market is this great eating joint, the name is the True reflection of the food. Slow and nicely made flavorful food. Can count on fingers the resturant where the owner now comes to guests table to take care that we have a good food experience. That's something which keeps us coming to Halki Aanch.
Went with family for North Indian food.. Food was great .. we tried chicken pudina tikka and mutton barra in snacks .. both the snacks were very tasty and above all paneer tikka complimentary from the owner side(must try) ... ordered chicken lababdar n dal makhni with butter naan and mirchi parantha .. which was beyond expectation .. Amazing food.. love to visit this place again..

Their human chicken and lemon grass chicken satay is outstanding..first I was a bit nervous about ordering Chinese food from a inDian restaurant but I took my chances and must say these guys don't let down.. My guest were super happy with the food.

One of our favourites when it comes to Indian and Chinese food. The Kebabs, biryani and tawa items are insanely good, and the Thai curry is a winner too. The food is packaged well, and definitely great quality which isn’t very easy to come by on a consistent basis. Do try!

Halki Aanch Arjun marg outlet, stunning interiors and excellent display of food, as for the taste nothing to beat the same. Had fish tikka and chicken drum sticks and Main course. Ended the meal with the all famous kesar phirni.
Dropped by last evening for dinner having heard great things and was not disappointed! The butter chicken and dal makhani were top notch, but the biryani stole the show! Definitely going back for round 2.
We were a group of 10 visiting Arjun Marg shopping mall for lunch and remembered Halki Aanch last visit that they have their main branch here, so it was an obvious choice. This outlets has a lovely dine in as well and again the menu is elaborate and therefore one has a good choice from both Indian and Chinese menu specifically when you have a larger group to cater to.

Amazing experience!! I wonder why this place has such a low rating. Food is amazing and service is super amazing. I spoke to Mrs. Berry (owner) to host a party. She suggested the menu and each and every item on the list - raan, chicken gilaafi, malai chicken, fish and achari aloo was amazing. Rolls were very good and so was the biryani and shorba. All n all an amazing experience and great service. To all those people out there - plz ignore the rating and do eat the food before u judge. I also judged the place initially and didnt wanna go there but after speaking to Mrs. Berry i was like lets give it a shot and i m happy to do so!! Thanks :)
Halki Aanch has been our 'go to' place for amazing food. Their signature dishes such as chicken tikka with bones, biryani and butter chicken are delicious and worth trying. Absolute value for money and needless to say I have experienced consistent quality all these years.

We have been ordering from Halki Aanch for the past many years.The food is excellent. Mrs Beri,  the owner ensures that all instructions given by the customers are followed well. Whenever we have a get together, without thinking twice, we know where to order from. The taste , quality and quantity is very good . I recommend their daal , rogan josh, butter chicken, shahi paneer and Kadhai chicken to all foodies. Mrs Beri is very warm and affectionate towards her customers, so the comfort level that I have with her is very high.

Good food. Very good service. Sitting capacity is less. Good place to hang out if you're shopping in Arjan Marg area. Also, you can go with family, mayn't find it appropriate if invite guests there, but am sure they also don't equipped to handle that.

One of the few eateries in Dlf Phase 1, we popped in there for a late lunch, placed our order and popped out for a few minutes to multitask and get another quick task done in the same complex. One of the waiters was waiting outside the store for us to let us know our lunch was ready, and we hurried back. Sure enough, our order was waiting, plates covered our meal to keep it warm, my first happy thought. My second happy thought was the courteous and humble nature of the waiter who served us in our plates. We were the only ones seated downstairs – one of the two tables occupied. He stood watch and was extremely alert; as we went through the napkins he quickly refilled them. And the food…. It brought me back to those years of traveling to my aunt’s place where we’d arrive from the airport at the oddest of afternoon hours and we’d have lunch prepared and placed – the home-cooked aroma filled my senses and I don’t think I have ever enjoyed my lunch the way I did that afternoon. I even specifically had everything packed so I could take it home and enjoy it later that evening.
The naan was warm, the yellow dal seasoned and tempered perfectly. My mutton rogan josh was deliciously tender and spicy, just the way I like it. The chicken that my husband ordered was as good, chicken was perfect and soft, the gravy was thick and full of flavor.
I wanted to pay my compliments to the chef, who had left for the afternoon but I inquired about the owner, whom I have yet to call and pay my compliments to.
The restaurant has been around for over 20 years and she’s better known as a caterer. I don’t doubt the love and care that goes into her food.
The ambience was of the seating down stairs was nothing spectacular, but the food is what this place is all about.
Thank you for taking me home for that one hour. Thoroughly enjoyed my food.
Halki aanch has some great indian food. Their achari aaloo is a real best seller and should definitely be tried out. The palak chicken and mutton handi was good too. All in all a good experience
This is one of the few places which serves really good Indian food, especially vegetarian fare. I love my non veg food but this is one place where i relish their palak paneer, daal and achari aloo.
Writing a review for Halki Aanch has actually got me thinking as I have been ordering from here for over 8 years now! This in itself speaks volumes about how long this place has been and the taste it promises.
Halki Aanch is a place from where I would have practically ordered 75-80% items from the menu. It's a place that I go to when I can't make up my mind of where and what to order.
I love some of their key dishes like bharwah aloo, tawa chicken, chicken tikka and paneer lababdar.
When ordering from here, do keep some time on hand as they have a delivery time of about 45-60 mins. Their ordering experience both online and offline could be better.
Also, a new dish is something that may add newness to the place!
And a rating option from Zomato that allows a range to be given rather than a fixed rating!

Very small place yet cosy I would say. Staff suggested butter chicken as their speciality. I can never say no to butter chicken! Ordered butter chicken and butter naan.
Oh my god! One of the finest butter chicken I've had and what made so special was their butter naan. The most amazing butter naan so far, undoubtedly! May sound exaggerated but that naan was magical. That was one finest meal! (burp)

after so many years working in DLF i happened to visit this little gem only recently...
the restaurant is small but adequately lit...the staff was efficient and super fast...
the pudina and hari mirch tikka was mouth watering....the malai seekh kebab was a little bland but had nice flavours...the starters went well with the fresh pudina chutney..
the tawa chicken was delectable and was not loaded with spices....the mutton rogan josh was average...the dal makhani was nice and hot but thick and too much buttery and creamy...
overall a very nice experience..
I have ordered from this place multiple times and they never fail without a doubt. The food taste is exactly the same every every time. I have also gone out to dine in, to this place but the way in which the waiters serve you is also very exceptional.
Not just their North Indian food, for which they are famous, even their Chinese dishes are exceptionally good.

I have been ordering from Halkiaanch since the early 2000's (pre-mall era in gurgaon). They are a decent north indian restaurant. Love the Dal Makhani, Aachario Aloo, Fish tikka masala, Butter chicken, the kebabs. Â Sikandari Raan is to die for!..Their Chinese cuisine is also decent.
I think they still have been able to maintain quality of food as the owner personally sits at the restaurant. Nice place with cozy ambience. Have got catering done on few occasions & happy with that.

Best butter chicken around. The hospitality is impeccable of the hosts. The quantity of the dishes is generous. A half plate of any chicken dish is enough for three people.

Halki aanch is like my other kitchen. When not cooking and not in the mood to explore something new , this is my back up plan. Just pick anything and order and it's good and enjoyable. Nothing extraordinary, but that's the charm of this place. When unexpected guests come over where do you order from? Right so now you know where.
Although I haven't eaten at this establishment - I have however had working lunches catered by them. The service is above & beyond - the food in itself is enough to keep you begging for more. Their kathi rolls & kebabs were an instant hit with both the Indian & foreign visitors alike.

Its a quiet place with not very lavish interiors. But the food is absolutely delicious and very fresh! The dal makhani... Aachari Aaloo.. Handi Chicken and Garlic Naan completed our order and had us literally licking our fingers!!

We have evening meetings close to Arjun market so after one of these meetings ; we came to this market to pick up a thing or two and we did not realize that it was dinner time.
I thought that this market has sweet shops or small cafes /bakeries but hadn't known that there was a restaurant behind the market. This is how we discovered Halki Aanch. It is a small simple place and there were mainly families around. It was like the kind of north indian places I used to go with my folk as kids- simple and decent.
While the rest in terms of setting of the places and service was regular or rather average. The food was good and better than we had expected. We had ordered North Indian and it was delicious. We enjoyed the food.
My association with Halki Aanch dates to over a decade back. Since I have been a Gurgaon resident since 1993, places like Halki Aanch were the ONLY place to order in authentic Indian food from.
Halki Aanch initially functioned out of a basement kitchen in DLF Phase 1. It's only in the 2000s when they acquired their first outlet in Shopping Mall , Arjun Marg . Their main competitor till date is still Dana Choga but my family and I personally prefer Halki Aanch over Dana Choga ( Ya I said it ! :P )
I would NOT recommend anyone to go to the outlet and dine in but for ordering in the perfect Dal Makhni and Butter Chicken, Halki Aanch is the place for you !

Ive never been to the but order food from there quite regularly. In general the food is very good in taste.
Highly recommended is the mushroom mattar masala. The yellow dal is also a very safe option. The breads are equally good!
On current menu would give them 4.2 however these folks continue to remain stubborn on changes in menu (given same stuff for last 7 plus years!) ..therefore both food and experience is becoming stake..r u listening Ms Neetu?

I like the food quality and the innovation. Prices are a bit high, but worth every penny. The full plate chicken biryani is served in a handy, enough for 4 people. The food quality is great, although one might find the chicken curries a bit monotonous. Go for the reshmi tikka, or the tawa chicken, or the rogan josh, or the chicken hands biryani.

We had a guest from Overseas who wanted to try Indian food. Due to paucity of time, we chose this restaurant for tonight's dinner.
We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of everything we ordered.
We had ordered Fish curry (Surmai), Mutton Sheekh, Saag Paneer, Paneer tikka and Yellow Dal fry together with plain rice and Tandoori Roti.
The food was not very spicy and oily and was really appreciated by our guests and us.

Went here closer to the end of the day but the burgers are to die for. Takes a little while to get your food but the food is worth waiting for..Not a bad place if you want to grab a good and quick bite when in the neighborhood.
