Good food! Yakhni and rogan josh are very good. Good service
“KASHMIRI RESTAURANT”
Nice place for a change. I liked the array of great sounding non vegetarian dishes. The presentation is brilliant.
This resturant is close to my office. They serve one of the best Mutton in this area.
I order 2 Pcs Mutton Rogan Josh and Masch "Kashmiri Keema" with Butter Rooti. Guyz Don't believe food was so teasty and well cooked.
One if my friends recommended this restaurant as a source of authentic, home-like Kashmiri food. While I loved Khyen Chen, I know for sure that the food I've eaten in Kashmiri homes has a lot more Rogan (oil) and I've never had problems with it.
We ordered Rogan Josh and Yakhni from Koul Kashmiri Dawat. I can confidently say that it is closer to authentic. However, as far as flavour is concerned, Khyen Chen does it better. When it's authenticity vs. flavour, I tend to choose flavour. Authenticity, to my mind, is a means to get the flavour right, so why not focus on the output.
People finding alternatives to Kashmiri home food may give this one a try without any risk of being disappointed.
Excellent food quality with real Kashmiri home made taste. Felt as if mom had made it. Highly recommended to all. Kashmiris should not miss this.
Amazing Food. Delayed home delivery.
Food:
Really loved their Mutton Rogan Josh, Gushtaba and Tchok Wangun.
Delivery:
The food was delivered 90 minutes after the order was placed. I sincerely hope they improve their delivery time as my friends who order all the time have now acknowledged the delay and place orders accordingly.
Overview:
I'd surely recommend it to all Kashmiri cuisine lovers.
At least once in a month, I order form this Kashmiri joint. Kashmiri cuisine is brilliant. But unfortunately not many places around which offer good Kashmiri food. I would recommend Rogan Josh , Gushtab, Masch (Keema) , Tabkh Naat from the non veg section. Nadur Yakhni and Dum Aloo from the vegetarian section. This meal is economical as the portions are okay.
Had a fine discussion over Mutton Quorma and Rogan Josh while placing the order.
I was suggested that I try Mutton Quorma as it is their speciality, but keeping the lack of confidence (jk) and my great love for RoGan Josh in mind, I went of Rogan Josh, and trust me I did not regret it.
I have been searching for a place for good and not too expensive Rogan Josh in Gurgaon, and I think my search is settled now.
Mutton Quorma is next on my list.. :D
Overall a good and worthwhile experience!
Loved it.......... Dying to try more dishes.........
Also liked the quantity..........I ordered Tabak, Roganjosh, & mutton pulao........am still loving each burp
Bulls Eye , here is kind of mutton dish i always liked , "Mutton Korma"
I like this type of muuton , spicy , tangy , flavour of Sauf Powder in the gravy .
Simple , yet tickling
Although thr gushtaba is also good.
Best i like thr Korma , more than roganjosh
Veggi frnds try tamatar paneer .
Last experince was ok ok , but this time its on the money.
Give it a shot if you want to try kashmiri food. I would recommend roganjosh and kashmiri parantha. But be prepared for a long wait in case you are ordering home delivery!
Best gushtaba n rista i ever had in delhi ncr , it was so authentic .
i m from jammu n i know the difference btwn good n average kashmiri food.
this one was very authentic .
i ate mooj chutin that came with order n i remember my family meals we used to have back home.
great , recommended
First and foremost thing they said they had increased the rate but the havent updated the Menu. Secondly I ordered Tabkh Naat which was good but expected more from Mutton rogan josh which was a packed dish in plastic bowl and all the masala was settled down with no taste. may be I expected more from this place, thirdly they dont have any outlet or place just the delivery.
Tabkh naat is a must try. I would give them a second chance to server better. and please update your menu card.
Start delivering in Sector 23 also.
More over food quality was fine though I dont like Mutton Rogan Josh at all must serve is properly. cost for 2 is 600.
I very much like the food.. authentic kashmiri ... Best part is the portion of the food .. if u r only one or two person .. U can order in small portions..
Today, I got a craving for a Kashmiri Dinner. Being from New Delhi, the only place I had heard of was Chor Bizzare. Now living in Gurgaon, going all the way to Chor Bizzare seemed like, well, quite a 'bizzare' idea.. So, I did what any sensible foodie would do.. I logged onto zomato.com. The first thing I looked for, was a 'Kashmiri' sounding name.. Finally I settled on Koul Kashmiri Dawat. On calling them, I was politely informed by the owner, Mr. Koul, that they were a home delivery only place. That suited me just fine.. after all, who wants to go out on a Sunday night, if it could be avoided..
Being a meat lover, I decided to try different types of meat dishes. So, I ordered 2 pcs of Tabkh Naat, 2pcs of Mutton Rogan Josh, 2 pcs of Mutton Yakhni, 2 pcs of Mutton Mirchi Korma, and one serving of plain rice.. Great idea that you can order in 2, 4 or 8 pcs servings..
Now to the taste.. The Tabkh Naat is a dry kabab, and the flavour is unlike any kabab you have eaten.. Difficult to explain the taste.. all I can say is Well done Mr. Koul !!!! The Yakhni and the Rogan Josh were very authentic. Since they were authentic, they were obviously very good.. But, the show stealer, was the MUTTON MIRCHI KORMA !!! This has to be one of the best preparations of Mutton I have ever eaten.. AMAZING MR. KOUL !!!!
To sum up, the meats were cooked to perfection, and soft to the bite.. Mr. Koul, your phone number is definitely on my speed dial list...
Delicious food. We tried kashmiri pulao, dum aaloo and gustaba.
One of the sad things about being a Kashmiri is the lack of eating joints that serve authentic Kashmiri food. Most Kashmiris seldom end up finding it outside their family/relative's place. Major reasons being unavailability of the multiple ingredients, as well as shortage of trained Kashmiri chefs. The latter is an important issue since Kashmiris haven't done a very great job at promoting their cuisine outside of family gatherings.
Koul Kashmiri Dawat is a wonderful Kashmiri food delivery service that has made me think otherwise.
We stumbled upon this via Zomato when my Gujju flatmate urged we tried Kashmiri food. I decided to order a vegetarian kashmiri meal, since I wanted to give my Gujju flatmate (he like most is a veggie) company while he tried out our cuisine. So I ordered for a large Kashmiri Pulaw, a Nadr Yakhni and a Dum Aloo.
The Pulaw was just like how one has it at home. Laced with cashew and cinnamon; mildly spicy. We ordered a jumbo one which can suffice 3 very hungry people.
The Nadr Yakhni was quite good too, though it was way too oily. Nadr/Nadroo (which is the shoot of the lotus flower) is a quintessential Kashmiri food. Yakhni is the curd based gravy which is a kashmiri favorite. I found the nadr a little too fibrous for my taste, but I'd still recommend it.
The Dum Aloo was perfect. Being a Kashmiri I know what good dum aloos are. Full sized big potatoes, highly pressurized and in a thick spicy gravy. It was possibly the best dish I have had since coming to Gurgaon.
The proprietor is a sweet soft spoken gentleman. I am sure to try the meat next time.
This was a feast! We had ordered with the usual Mutton Roganjosh, Mutton Yakhni and Gushtaba. The Roganjosh was just perfectly cooked with the right amount of spice to go with this hilly side dish. The Yakhni was OK, but the Gushtaba was just brilliant. For starters we had gone for some chicken dish the name of which I forget because it was completely overshadowed by this fantastic dish called Tabakh Nat , and it is, wait for it, Mutton ribs boiled in milk and deep fried. Divine I say! Definitely go for the Mutton/Chicken Saffron Pulao if you are in the mood for rice.
I am a person who likes to try different cuisines every now and then. Koul Kashmiri daawat also happened to be one of those days when i was dying for a chnage for my taste buds.
So we ordered Mutton Gushtaba, Chicken Yakhni and Dum aloo. All the dishes were outstanding and one of those finger licking ones.Every dish had a distinct taste and flavour. The owner sent a walnut chutney along which was again a star.We were sent a complimentry phirni alongside. Very courteous and seet.
Will definitely order again.
Food/5/5
Packaging- 5/5
Delivery- 4/5
I have spoken so much about this resturant , that i shud now be declared brand ambassador for it.
this time wat has forced me to write is Mutton Korma and Mutton Kanti rice plate !!
I loved thr new dish , muuton korma and kaanti rice plate.
Mutton Kanti rice plate was a surprise package , mutton kaanti pieces oved steamed flavored rice ( looks like KFC rice bowl concept ) , but watever , its better tasting.i loved it.
Muuton Mirchi koorma is for thiose who believe in fire , it brings all ur gatstro-organs to function , its nice and hot ( i asked for very hot once and once i ordered medium hot ).
Chicken kebab , new in menu , and different than other kebabs u get in market , intresting flavours !!
Guy gave me Chocolate nuts free with my order to my office , nutties were equally good.
keep getting new dishes !! :)

My respect and love for this place is increasing month over month , i suggested this place to my manager for a house party last week and my manager was very happy with the food.
His words " Roganjosh ho to aisa ho " , he loved the rogan josh and ristas !!
I m not a very much pounded meat fan , but all the ppl whom i have recomended this place have always liked thr rista and rogan josh.
Also to point out again , food reached around 15-20 mins late , guys work on delivery time please.
----- 22 Jun, 2013 -----
This place is becoming my regular types , the eco meal concept they have started , i m loving that
Practically i m ordering 2 a week from this place
Gushtaba + Tabakh naat eco meal for 350 ....where can u get that in gurgaon or delhi
Rogan Josh and raamja meal .... one of my favorites...
i m not writing about taste becoz my ordering 2 times a week specifies that they doing nice job to keep the authentic Kashmiri taste alive in market , i have had many let downs when i started exploring kashmiri resturants in delhi / ncr .....KKD for me is doing very nice job /...
One thing i want to point is ,,,yes thy need to improve thr delivery time , sometime it takes them arround 30-45 mins to deliver and that is OK for me as i know kashmiri food takes time to get ready ....
but sometimes they take arround hour or more to deliver , and that is a let down for them ...guys appoint more delivery guys or watever ,,,please ...
Highly recommended to those who are in search of authentic kashmiri food in gurgaon ....actually Delhi NCR....

altogether kashmiri cuisine rocks.. and so does KKD....
BEST OF LUCK KKD...!!!!
a geninue suggestion to all those who want to enjoy this cuisine , order well before time , they will take few more minutes than other resturants :)
This is fastest review I can write, means that I have still not finished my dinner and i am writing a review for this place once again.
First of all kudos to the management of Koul Kashmiri Dawat for proactively listening to customers complaint and trying to make it up. This is what sets apart these type of restaurants from others.
So now the rating for Customer service is 6/5 but what forced me to still give it a 4 rating was that and actually I am not trying to generalise here but I had Kashmiri food for the first time and have realised that it was my last time and I don't have to courage to try it again.
So I can say that I can't really judge this place about the food (because I think my taste buds did not adjusted to Kashmiri food) but still will say you can try it once " Na Jaana Kisko Kab Kya acha Lag Jaye :) "

After reading so much mixed reviews on Zomato about this place with major concerns over delivery time and ethics, I decided to order from this place for Sunday Dinner. So it was 9:00 P.M and we ordered some dishes, not a very huge order but a decent list with 2 veg dishes and some breads. I was promised a delivery time of about 45 minutes max. I got a message at around 9:40 that my order has been out for delivery. Till this time also I was cool enough but after which I made 2 phone call follow ups, and what I got around 10:40 P.M. that since there is fog on the way, they cannot deliver my order.
The Management at Kashmiri Dawat , I don't blame you that there is fog on the way, but this is no way to letting a customer know that you cannot deliver food and that too after waiting for 90 minutes.
food is fantastic actually u get real essence of kashmiri cooking.
Nice flavors & quality!!!
Need to improve on delivery time.
I am a fan of the Kashmiri cuisine, and have been looking for the real deal in Delhi for sometime.
Very few have been able to match up to what my neighbour from Kashmir used to cook... But I've now finally found something close...
Have ordered Dum Aloo & Nadru Yakhni to go with the rice I cooked.
The Dum Aloo was amazing and all of us were left licking our fingers for more.
The flavour of Yakhni was also good, but one needs to have a taste for Nadru (Lotus stem).
So the next time you want to have Genuine Kashmiri food, this is it !
Nice little food i ordered. Mutton Yakhni and Kashmiri Parantha are a must to have.
Delivery took a lot of time. Only negative point.
Will definitely explore more here. I have an intuition it has a lot more to offer.
One of the most amazing places to order from.right from the person who answers the phone to the style of serving the food and most importantly the quality of food, absolutely brilliant. I would highly recommend the food to any one with a hankering not just for Kashmiri food but just great food overall.
With abt 11 odd items on the menu, this has to be one of the most concise menus ive come across. That beinf said, i have no complaints, easily the best hindu kashmiri around town.
The only crib i have is the less quanties wrt the gravies, but then again, that is the way authentic kashmiri dishes are served. Recommend the goshtaba/rista/maach as a must try.
Fantastic food...must try outs are tabkh naat, gushtaba and yakhni...have ordered twice in last 4 days....
i ate something called yakhni n keema meal today from this place ,,i didnt order it actually my friend has ordered so i tried ....i seriously liked it ..although i have never tried the kashmiri cuisine before but i liked it and the meal was economical for us ....
Also ...i loved the clay handis ...and read on facebook that they supporting "Green Earth", No plastic ...i really support such move from a start up !!
Would love to order from this place for my husband , but i live in south delhi ..do you guys have any plans for south delhi ???
My review is for people like me who like good quality food with decent portions and pleasant packaging. And KKD is just that. The person on the phone was warm and genuine. Took our order very carefully, called back to confirm something. The packaging is unique. I keep giving away the earthen pots etc to my car cleaner who use them happily. Andthe food is a delight, no excess oil and ghee. I was bowled over by their paranthas. Have tried most of their nonveg items and am a fan. Phirni too, just the way it's supposed to be. Keep it up KKD! Mum coming over tomorrow so will order your veg items:-)
The mutton rista was one of the best mutton dish I had ever had!!! I found the yakhni just about ok..
Ordered from this place once....though the delivery time was a bit too long but the wait was worth it.....The food was as close as it gets to the original recipes....Really delicious and suited to the taste buds of people living in the cities.....I had ordered Rista along with Gushtaba and mutton yakhni.....It was so satisfying and needless to say super delicious...the portions were a bit too less though.Good to know there is a place in Gurgaon that serves Kashmiri cusine.
Just loved the authenticity of the food ... Super likes ... Will try Roganjosh next time ....
I ordered Mutton Kashmiri Pulao and Mutton Yakhni from this place. The pulao was fabuluous and the Yakhni was above average. I did like the taste and the packaging in clay handis. The guy who took the order was poilte and inquired of our appetite before placing the order. Overall I have had a very good experience. I have deducted 0.5 stars since I feel that there is room for improvement on the food.
Awesome Food.... Awesome Taste....
Koul Kashmiri Dawat (KKD) is the Real Fragrance, Flavor, & essence of Kashmiri Food...
You Got to Try it To knw what am talkin bout...
Can't forget the taste of the awesome Dum Aaloo, Ull Yakhni & Walnut Chutney... they r to die for.... & amazing Kashmiri Pulao..
I'm already hungry... & Am Calling 9818645309.....
Rest KKD Khao.... Khud Jaan jao...
And ya just before I dont forget people out there who would be looking forward to a full fledged Restaurant cum Dining place..u neednt worry as there is more to KKD coming up in next few months for which atleast I am terribly waiting for-The KKD Resturant..so I guess we have a litlle more to wait before it gets bigger..BUt NO ONE STOPS EATING TILL DEn!!
Ok now, here's something that I not only believe because I am a Kashmiri myself but because it is what I have grown up eating all my life, and staying away from Home I have been missing it like no one else. So at a time like this, KKD comes as a saviour!!
Believe me when I say - "There is no better love than Food, come what may" And when it comes to Kashmiri food the Dam Aloos and Roganjosh's not only make you feel week in knees but after you have them there is no looking at any other cuisine ever!
You could have other restaurants and eatery places offer u a buffet of "so called" Mughlai or Kashmiri food but once you taste what KKD offers you, you will sure get the difference without having anyone to tell you! No added taxes, no service charges, no quantity complains-just awesomely tempting and tasty Food!!
Here the Murg Yakhni doesn't get jealous of the Kaliya Paneer and the Vegetarians don't complain being one as for the Non vegetarians because they are both got equally great and offer authentic taste of their own. Making their way with the Soft White Rice into everyones hearts!!!
I honestly feel so proud and magical whenever my friends and pals say that how could you have such amazing dishes without any, mind you no - onion, garlic, tomato! Just authentic Kahsmiri spices and condiments and love grown in the valley and brought to the cuisine by the chefs for whom it has been a hierarchical job so you just cant beat them at there work!
Trust me while I am writing about this food here,my taste buds are already activated. :P
Being in NCR where I don't have my home but I have the food from my home what else could I wish for but ghar ka khana!!
Yes, that is each Kahsmiri's ghar ka khana which tastes best when everyone gets to relish it, hence I would just say to everyone that If you really are a foodie, this would be a sin to miss for your ohh "so hungry for yummie food" stomach ;)
GO ahead Guys..Give it a try and u would always come back!! Bon Appetite :) Gud Luck KKD
For all food lovers.... this place is a must try!!! Best of Kashimiri dishes with rich flavors and spices!! Quality and authenticity Excellent!!!
I never imagined Kashmiri food could be so different and delightful before trying it at Koul Dawat. They brought a different taste compare to traditional North Indian food in terms of preparation and spices. Most of all I loved Gushtaba. They also initiated home delivery in handi which was a good surprise for us. For us Koul Dawat is the destination for authentic kashmiri food which was not possible till now.
Da most ammazin kashmiri food n waazwan in gurgaon n evn delhi. Must try!!!
Koul Kasmiri Daawat - A Wholesome Gastronomical Story
I have always been one of those people who is ever ready to try out new foods and experiment with new cuisines and meats. It never takes too much of convincing to make me try out a new food experience. Ahhhh! I must add here though, that these adventures are not always a mouth watering experience, but sometimes can be quite the opposite with the water actually pouring out the rear end. (not something you want to be reading about in a food review, ehh).
Ok. enough talk about the misadventures and lets gets straight on to one wonderful meal experience. A couple of weeks ago, me and the boys met up on a weekend to catch up over a football game and just generally hang out while sipping on some 'good ol' Old Monk (a must for the kind of weather that day). These meetings are always accompanied by some good food and this time it was Koul Kashmiri Daawat that stole the show.
Never having had Kashmiri food before but wanting to try it for sure, we just gave Rohit, an extremely polite and patient gentleman a call, who first took the trouble of understanding what we thought we wanted, how many we were and then started to give us suggestions. (Try placing an order like this with Dominoes, Pizza Hut or your local restaurant and live through the communication breakdown along with absolute disinterest that can be so turning off)
Rohit immediately understood what we were looking for and suggested that we try the Tabakh Naat, which is muttton boiled in milk and later crisp fried. Never ever having heard of this before and the thought of having some crisp fried mutton along with Rum, there was no question about the fact that we had to have this. Since we knew we would not be satisfied with just one starter, we decided to add some kababs to the menu as well. Rohit suggested the Kashmiri Masala Kabab. We topped off the order with a Mutton Biryani and a Rogan Josh (not wanting to be too experimental for the first time) along with some Kashmiri Parathas. He says that he will also put in some Walnut Chutney complimentary. (now we all love a guy like that, don't we? )
Ding Dong, few minutes later (or a couple of pegs of Old Monk later) The food is here and the boys suddenly are very hungry. I just walk in with the bags in my hand and what follows in the next few seconds is a scene out of 'Silence of the Lambs' where all the pigs rush in to devour the meat as soon as it touches the ground. The mutton pieces and kababs start getting sampled with sounds of "Wah Wah" in between, even while they are still being served on to the plate. Ding Dong, oh oh! with a piece of mutton in my mouth I go to the door only to realise that the Tabakh Naat had made me forget to even pay the guy at the door.
Now that some amount of sanity had settled in, and the food was put in plates in a bit more civilized manner, we realised how apt Rohit's suggestions were for the evening. (Hmmm... wonder if was sipping on some Monk too) The crisp mutton pieces were absolutely delicious and complimenting those were the soft Masala Kashmiri Kababs. These kababs were medium spicy and tasty on their own, but when dipped with the Walnut Chutney, it was absolutely brilliant. Believe me, the next time I order, its going to be a whole lot more of this and a whole lot of Walnut Chutney too.
The game now over and the reserves of Old Monk slowly depleting, we moved on to the main course now and just when we thought that we would never want the starters to end, the aroma of Biryani slowly filled the room. The Rogan Josh, I must admit didn't seem like I had ordered it from outside. It seemed like it was sent from someones home. (none of that greasy oil floating on top, or that very typical restaurant taste). The very homely and delicious Rogan Josh was quickly disappearing along with the soft Kashmiri Parathas that seemed to just melt along with the gravy, (meanwhile I was looking around for the Walnut Chutney that seemed to have suddenly disappeared. I was sure there was much more that he had sent and it could not be over)
To top off the evening, there was nothing better than one of the most authentic Mutton Biryanis I have ever had (not being a certified critic, I am ready to take a bashing on the use of the word 'authentic' if need be). Honestly, been an ever ready enthusiastic experimenter of food, I must have had atleast a 100 different tasting Biryanis (or what some restaurants call them) but this one definitely stands out amongst the top 10. Right from the flavours so evenly spread to the tenderness of the meat, it all seemed absolutely perfect. Meanwhile I was still wondering where the Walnut Chutney went.
After a few minutes of unfamiliar silence that was only interrupted with sounds of chewing and eating and lip smacking and some very satisfied burps, we raised our glasses to toast Koul Kashmiri Daawat and Rohit. ("hope you are enjoying a nice drink right now Rohit!!" shouted out one of my buddies).
It was time for the night to end and someone remembered that we needed to split the tab. This is when everyone was in for the most pleasant surprise of the night. Having paid off the guy at the door in a hurry, I had not bothered to actually check and did not remember the amount. It was not even 1500. Wow! All that for that price. Marvellous!
Finally, in the midst of hugs all around and goodbyes and high fives, I noticed one of my friends trying to hide a small packet in one of hands. Suspicion creeped in between all the good feeling and I asked him what it was he was trying to hide. Sheepishly he said "Nothing... just the walnut chutney .. I want to take some of this incredible stuff for my wife. She will love it.. I am late and nothing better than this to save me from a lecture at 1 am"
Hahahaha, that cracked all of us up and we wished him all the very best. (Though we all thought that the Walnut Chutney would be good enough to save him that night)
The Walnut Chutney did save him that night and the next afternoon, while he called to thank me for the Walnut Chutney, he was busy enjoying yet another feast at home from Koul Kashmiri Daawat. He was trying to make me a little jealous by telling me that he now had more Walnut Chutney and that he was now digging his teeth into some delicious Chicken Yakhni. I just smiled and just wanting him to enjoy his moment did not tell him that what lay in front of me was some half finished Mutton Yakhni, some Rista, which is mutton balls in gravy with rice and a very pretty woman who is smiling naughtily at me in between bites of what she called some heavenly home cooked food..(cant say more here)
one of the best place to have typical kashmiri food ... :-) its a treat to have such a food at so reasonable rates ... yummmmiest food ever ... do try it once ... m sure .. u will never regret choosing koul kashmiri dawat :-)
njoiii the food ...
nd
KKD ... u guys keep rocking ... !!!
Delicious and fresh food...The anardanna chuttney was awesome...will love to have the food again
Delicious food :) Mouth watering delights !! A must have Rogan Josh and Dum Aloo :))
Koul Kashmiri Dawat is not recommended for people who scowl at overeating, because that's exactly what you will be doing after first bite..Awesome food ..value for money .....good job guys ....keep it up..cheers!!
Being a vegan, I had always presumed that foods like Kashmiri cuisine were not meant for me - even if i was one of the craziest foodie ! My beliefs had to change - and the reason was Koul Kashmiri Dawat ( Rohit Koul ) .
We had the privilege to taste the first cooked meal on Sunday evening and what a heavenly experience that was !!! I still had inhibitions about how much veg food can i expect to see - I was thoroughly surprised :) We had over 10 main course dishes purely vegetarian on the menu -out of which I have had the privilege to taste over 8 so far across two food tasting sessions and the experiences have left me happily craving for more...!!!
The evening started with a lavish flow of kahwa and kashmiri puffs - that scintillated our taste buds . After a really long session of the oh so yummy ! Kashmiri Tea, we proceeded onto an unending evening of Kasmiri food . On the Veg dastarkhaan were kashmiri dum aloo, Tchaman Keliya, Walnut Chutney, Apricot chutney, curd-raddish chutney , Nadur Yakhni , Kashmiri Pulaao, Kashmiri Saag and more...the non vegans had their eyes and tummies delightfully satiated too !
I have kind of forgotten how many rounds of Kashmiri Pulaao ( rice) I had eaten over the next 2 hours..and It was not just because I love eating but because the food that was cooked by the special chefs from Srinagar using the spices and food ingredients that were brought straight from Kashmir !!!
The joy of a godly-delicious , beautiful meal on the faces of my non-vegetarian friends eating the special non-veg Kashmiri dishes was evident by their multiple requests for repeats of the rounds of foods as well as their long list of request to conduct more such sessions again and again ! Obviously I joined them in requesting repeats for my side of the foods too :D
Needless to say the love and affection with which we were fed doubled the joy of such a delicious cuisine. Kudos to the KKD Delivery Team :)
It was the first of many more such Kashmiri food gatherings to come ...The best part was that I did not feel heavy or giddy at all, rather, light in my tummy and head even after such a hogathon :D - the joys of a healthy cooked meal i must say !
A strong recommendation for ALL you people out there - do taste the amazing authentic Kashmiri cuisine that has come to you here in Gurgaon all the way from the land and hearts of the Kashmiris - and you will not stop eating it again and again !!!
A superb start and a wonderful team work - Thanks for bringing Kashmir to Gurgaon - in it's true, unspoilt, unadulterated pristine manner from our thoughts into our tummies :)
Koul Kashmiri Dawat - Guys you are doing a great job - please keep happily surprising us with the quality of your food and deliveries.. All I can end this note is with a deep gratitude of love for the team and the oh-so-delicious Kashmiri waazwan and "Subhaanalaah" !!!
