Ah....i don't know, i mean i did read many 1 star reviews, but maybe they had a bad day, but for us, everything we ordered was amazing, i mean we were drooling and our eyes were watery from the spicy taste and flavours, but believe me we enjoyed, finger licking the remanences off the plate, the rampuri chicken and the handi dal special....hope they could maintain the standards always.....

Good food open 24x7 and good tea. But the place is usually for better conversations on budget. Gives a feeling of the village life which is good for a change sometimes for all the wanderers in us.

We tried this place recently. Value for money. Hygiene isn’t great. We have to change the glasses. Food is good. We ordered Roasted chicken, Parantha with butter, dal, paneer andmissi roti. Everything was tasty. Would try it again.
The special Rampuri chicken is to die for ❤️ must visit if I’m Gurgaon... the veg is amazing too - definitely try the pindi chana and daal tadka.

Good delicious testy fresh food. Staffs behaviour is good. Tables are arranged inside and outside of the restaurant. We ordered chicken malai tikka, hyderabadi murg dum biryani with raita. Food serving time was 45 min due to crowd. But bill making time was fast. We were happy with food and sitting arrangement.

This is again a go to paratha joint for us. We have been twice here and both time we opted for parathas with white butter. The parathas are actually good better than any of the outlets near this area. The accompanying chutney is also very good only if they could improve their service. I felt the service is affected due to clumsy staff.

Been to this place for lunch on my trip to Gurgaon. Foodies keeps on pouring in due to corporate offices around, so you need to be patient and fortunate enough to get the table. Food is authentic however it seems they are under staff. Full marks to the chef for living up to the desi taste. Discount the decor, ambience and set up. Worth the money.

I had chicken rara. And I have had this dish at several places and I know what to expect. They served their version of chicken rara which didn't have minced chicken in the gravy. Some bits of chicken were roughly chopped but not the way it should be done. Also rara is on the spicy end of things. Their gravy was a bit sweet for rara.
Naan was good. Flaky and tasty.
Service was very good. They didn't make us wait too long.
Overall recommended if you are in the area.

When in doubt visit Apna Desi Thaat. I've been there before and didn't like the food much, but now I guess they have changed their chef.
We ordered: Achari Chicken, Achari Chaap, Masala Chaap, Chicken Tikka, Lacha Paratha, Thandori roti and Kullhad chai.
I am not a big chaap fan but their chaap is the best in gurgaon no doubt. As I said we ordered achari the taste was actual achari. Food was fresh and delicious.
Chai: I'd rank their chai #3 in gurgaon. Kullad is big and thin.
Overall much recommended for lunch and dinner.

If you are looking for a 24/7 place to eat, then do visit this dhaba, the ambience is amazing as well as the food is, and the service is also very good, and everything is good, the quality and quantity is also very good.
We ordered thaali, the waiter asked to order some very specific items rather. We sticked to Thaali, the taste is decent not that great. The competition nearby is better.
We 8 people entered this place at 11pm on Saturday with a hungry stomach! And they just satisfied our hunger with the famous soft flavour full paratha with fresh white butter , dal makhni had scope of improvement but was Okie... Khadai paneer was perfect with crisp tandoori rotis .. the service to be mentioned was very prompt.

Desi thaat is the perfect place for working people in spaze I tech park who want to experience delicious food with great ambience. They have variety of Indian food. Parathas, sabzis, snacks, veg, non veg, you get everything here. They have a seating arrangement inside and outside. They also have a kulfi shop outside where you can have kulfi after lunch. The staff is very nice and polite. It can be your go to place with office friends.
