The moment you enter El Sabor you could be forgiven in thinking that you are in Mexico City’s most famous cantina ... it’s alluring and vibrant decor is noteworthy.. Overall my first impression was total wonderment, I was not expecting the event to be of this magnitude..
What a beautiful Mexican night it was .. covering a wide gastronomic range of Mexican starters ..enjoyed closing my eyes and absorbed all the aromatic pleasures .. the highlights for me were Sriracha chilly paneer, chicken flautas, crispy fish taquistos.
How can I not mention the DJ who spiced up the night , we could unleash our energy and dance to the salsa 💃🏼 beats .. then came the swaying superb professional dancers ...their cameos lit up the place and all eyes and mobiles were focused on them .. their Mexican costumes and vibrancy in doing the La Conquista ...got transferred in all the revellers and saw us all ( even the ones with two left feet 😜) groove to the music 🎶..special mention here , how small things make big difference .. we too were given masks 🎭 look out for all the mask pics .. guess who’s who .
Dinner was a fusion of Indian and Mexican , heavily leaning towards our Bharat .. methi Malai chicken , shrimps and rice attracted me .. 💯 to the taste ..

ElSabor is a resplendent new entrant to sec 29 ! Be it the dash of it's contrasting spread of menu (uniquely Mexican) or swanky interiors or hues on the walls , all will definitely add to a gratifying experience.
Food 🍴🍕🍔 surely needs a special mention, we had ordered one fajita and the serving portion was large enough for two persons. Then we ordered minty melon drink which too was carefully crafted.
It's truely a Mexican abode in the heart of Gurgaon.
P. S. If loud beating music is something you are not in for the evening , then you can request to get seated in their private lounge area.

I totally love this place first of all the authenticity of food deserve 5 start, staff and chef are worried about clients concern and petitions if there is something not included in the menu they will prepare anyways. Now about the ambience I wasn't expected such a great salsa dancers around along with a original music. Just about the dj he should accept some client request.
Wishing to go back soon.
Keep the same way!

The place is good for parties. However I would date the starters 3/5 and the main course 2/5. The interior is good. They have a good dance area. Also they charge DJ separately. Thanks . Hope that helps you.

We went there using Dineout booking, issue with bill payment through dineout app, they didn't allow it, make me.pay again at restaurant as well.
We ordered veg food and filling in all three different main course is same with even same seasoning. Only difference is sauces on top and cooking style, same for nachos. Margarita was below average. Overall they did maintain authenticity of Mexican cuisine but need to work on these issues. We had discussions on this with their chef and he was very polite and tried to suggest what should we order because of this veg filling issue.

Menu is too good. Music was nice. Some dance school was there so they rocked the dance floor. One star less for very very slow service. Ordered grilled platter but was disappointed to see all the fried stuff in there.

I visited the place for a project party. The place is very spacious. DJ is good. Ambience is also very good. Beer I found ok-ok. Food is not that good. Good ambience for good photography.

El Sabor was amazing, warm hearted welcome, decent food, BARTENDERS had a fantastic and cheerful attitude. All in all I had great fun. DJ wasn't bad either. He threw a good mix of dance numbers. I'm not a fan of Punjabi songs else would have rated awesome.
It's a great place for group gatherings and I hope for individuals too. I will check again later!

A must go place for lovely Mexican dishes and excellently crafted drinks. Reasonably priced menu and a very neatly done Mexican ambiance. Try their Smoked Chicken Salad as a side and if you are lucky you may also get a freshly made guacamole - just ask for it. Will definitely go there again.

What a fantastic place, lively environment, authentic and delicious food cooked by Latino chef, variety of Margherita to give solace to the throat spiced up by the dynamic host !
Recommend this place to all food lovers!
BTW there is good amount of desi food as well for the desi food lovers ...And the moment I entered El Sabor, it gave me a feeling of having entered USA, Mexico or some Latin American country without a passport...I don't have enough words for this amazing place, the ambience is stunning with a huge bar, private party area for larger groups and separate tables for small groups. WOW!!! International hospitality crew from USA and Columbia working in Gurgaon sector 29. Now that is something unique...It is more like modern Indian club food with an international touch...

Good place . Recently opened. Mexican Food is good, however the menu range is limited. Good to see some punjabi food options too, hence for some one not liking Mexican can still join the fun.
Staff and service is excellent. If you like your burritos must try.

The moment I entered El Sabor, it gave me a feeling of having entered USA, Mexico or some Latin American country without a passport. The ambience is stunning with a huge bar, private party area for larger groups and separate tables for small groups. What caught my eye was the etiquette of the staff and it was all international. WOW!!! International hospitality crew from USA and Columbia working in Gurgaon sector 29. Now that is something unique.
We mostly ordered club-food and margaritas which were out of the world. I would not be surprised if no one in the NCR area is serving such good margaritas and international small-bites. It is more like modern Indian club food with an international touch. Like the omni-present chili chicken was called sriracha chicken over there and it was finger licking. There were a lot of American/Mexican options as well like different version of Nachos, etc which were absolutely amazing. For the entree(main-course) we ordered Indian food- Naan and Asparagus Malai- kofta. Trust me the Indian food at Elsabor was a surprise for us. Later the managers told us that their Indian chef/s are all from five-star hotels. Now that was a deal to steal with 5-star service and food at an affordable price. And yes, do not forget to order the Rasmal for dessert. It comes with moong halwa stuffing. Craving to have it another time. Cnanot wait to go back to El Sabor.

We got margaritas and a platter with lamb tacos, chicken flautas, and cheese quesadilla. Everything was pretty nice particularly the tacos. Standout was actually the chips which are complimentary, and the guac-y dip that comes with it.
In terms of the margaritas none were too impressive between the avocado one, the jalapeno one, and the fresh fruit one. Perhaps stick to a traditional one. I'm not sure they use great tequila here. Actually I only tried the jalapeno one because of an acfident from their end bringing me the wrong drink, but they kindly gave me the correct one complimentary. The jalapeno one was not bad but it wasn't what I wanted / ordered.
Will go back again sometime, but will probably avoid the "special" margaritas.

We went there for industrial survey . The staff there has a welcoming hearts , good ambience , and once you entered the restaurant you wont feel like leaving anymore . This place no longer serves mexican, so its not a mexican restaurant. Went there on 13th Jan, the menu was not the one in the listing and staff told me that they no longer produce any of the few mexican items listed. Completely disappointed as zomato didnt update its database.

This can be a good Mexican but they couldn't they mixed with Indian Flavoured which ruin the entire show

Mexican options in the city are limited to Chili's or TGIF, both, very American versions of the cuisine. Get ready for an authentic Mexican treat at El Sabor, as the place promises you real flavours, fresh preparations and exquisite cocktails.

We started with Shrimp cocktail - fresh salsa, chopped tomatoes, onions, diced up shrimps, in the sweet and spicy mixture, finished with whole shrimps, really loved the punch and freshness.

Next up - choriqueso, homemade tortilla chips, with liquid cheese and minced meat, sort of like deconstructed nachos, I absolutely loved the idea! No more soggy tortilla chips :P

Also indulged in some authentic tacos and burrito! Don't expect a tonne of sour cream, but try some of Chef's fresh and authentic sauces.

You must try the salt-rimmed classic Margaritas and the signature El Baliente topped with Corona!
MilesnMeals
I liked the place for its authentic Mexican menu and the food which has been specially curated by chef Tony who is running a restaurant of the same lineage successfully in Al bahama
CHEF has tried t keep the flavours as close to authentic as possible making all the condiments and bread in house.... Sourcing best of maize flour and the peppers from the I dian marhet or importing what ever is possible.

So I liked how he quickly did up a vegetarian version of tacos and flauta for me with beautiful crusty flautas and the soft tacos served with a range of dips and salsas....

Great choice of cocktails.....

A perfect ola e of u like Mexican or if u wanna try it out as then u might make it ur preferred cuisine.

This mexican place is an amazing place located in sector 29. The ambience is magnificent. Loved the way colour contrasts have been used. They have a variety of items to order from and I tried quite some in my first time there.
Margarita is the best drink to have there. What a great taste. Totally refreshing.
For the food, there's Mexican Taxo which will give you the proper feeling of Mexican food. Nachos was also prepared well and accompanied my Margarita.
But nothing can beat dal makhani and butter chicken. Served with some breads, they both were heavenly. The gravy was just outstanding. Chicken was tender and juicy. Dal was quite creamy just the way I like it. I definitely loved everything about this place and would definitely come back to make some more memories and devour over more of their scrumptious food.

Cucumber Fizz and Choque Mary drinks were awesome. Fajita was great and for soya lovers mock meat Empanadas are a must try

If you love the flavors of Mexico and feel having Indian food is quintessential when going out, El Sabor is for you.

El Sabor is a distinctive Latin American restaurant, in the already packed Sector 29, while it doesn’t have a microbrewery, its cocktail menu is quite strong and with heritage inspired dishes discovered from travels to Mexico, South America, Central America and Spain, El Sabor offers a different experience in the area. We also had the honour of meeting Ritesh Mohan, the owner of the chain who is responsible for getting the flavors from US to India along with Tony Crespo the chef who’s creations we tasted.

Starting off with best, The Shrimp Cocktail. Bite sized cut pieces of shrimp along with 5-6 pieces of shrimps in salsa fresca (chopped tomato, onion, and cilantro, with lime juice and orange mixed in) It was a tangy sweet mixture which was just addictive, I believe there was some sweet tomato sauce along with some tangy tomato paste too but it was just a perfect combination of sweet spicy and tangy!

Next up was the Choriqueso, This was something I had never had before, The Chef explained that choriqueso is a Mexican cheese dip topped with cooked chorizo sausage and a sprinkling of cilantro that is served with chips or warm tortillas. It’s quite popular when it comes to bar snacks and makes for a swell appetizer or even a meal unto itself.
Here mine was topped with lamb mince and served with tortilla chips, now while its a basic cheese dip, it doesn’t feel so heavy, the cheese is mellow and when had warm it doesn't feel overwhelming. It’s perfect for people who love oodles of cheese and also for people who don’t.

The California Burrito was up next, homemade salsa, minced lamb, bell peppers, beans, sour cream and rice in a beautiful burrito wrap topped with cheese dip and salsa fresca. The accompaniments were also great but the cheesy dip on top was the highlight of this burrito.

We also tried the Tacos which were actually the least interesting not not that great too but had to try to get a feel of the Mexican place. Anyhow moving on the cocktails, we tried a couple of margaritas but didn’t venture much.

First up the special El Baliente, this cocktail wooed us, a place famous for its margaritas this one is very special with Corona, Tequila along with indian lemon giving quite the kick and possible a homemade sour mix with citrus and lemon too. This drink was quite extraordinary.

We also tried the Mamalucha and Mamacita, the latter one with the fresh avocado puree was something very unique, the avocado puree was silky smooth and didn’t make the drink chunky but instead added a smooth creamy texture.

The Mamalucha was the spicy take on the Margarita, with perfectly balanced flavors of spicy sweet and sour. Safe to say i loved all the three cocktails and i’m sure they are nailing the others too!

Two most important things of any cafe/launge like this are food and music. I attended a corporate meet here. So options in food & drinks were limited, but snacks and main course was more than average. I like their spring rolls & paneer Tikka. Bar was also good.
Highly disappointed with the DJ. Music was not good at all. They need to improve alot in this area.

Amazing place, at El Sabor I felt that I am actually in Mexico, the decor, music, drinks, and the authentic Mexican food gives you the perfect flavour of Mexico. The Mexican chef Tony is eager to customise the taste according to your need infact the entire crew is so amicable and happy to help! The passionate effort is so visible in everything.. super place for party, dance and some really innovative fusion food👍👍👏😊

I had a great time at Gurgaon’s first authentic Mexican restaurant and latin lounge. The interior is beautiful and eye catchy with decor done all over the area and it also has a good seating capacity to make you more comfortable. Ambience is amazing with excellent food and hospitality.Highly recommended if you want to experience an authentic Mexican fiesta.

Decent new place opened amidst the lively Sector 29 leisure valley. Upon staff suggestion, tried their Margarita "El Balientini". Supreme on taste and was prepared well.

The finger food was average but the ambience and the vibe of El Sabor makes it worth the visit.

The place has got a good ambience and the drinks are really good. Loved it totally. Although Zomato Gold is not accepted here. The music is more towards the Mexican EDM and pop side.

I was looking for a new place to try it out today and when I saw this new Mexican cuisine restaurant, I made the choice immediately. Frankly, I was expecting a small restaurant but this was bigger than I thought out to be.

There were at least 3-4 couples who were doing salsa dance to some nice music. And they have a huge bar.

I had Enchiladas Rancheros and a Texan Margarita. Enchiladas was very nice with the right accompaniments.

Happy that there is a reasonably genuine Mexican cuisine restaurant is now available in Gurgaon, after the demise of my all time favourite, Rodeo.

This new entry in the Gurgaon is gonna rock! A perfect 5-star Food, ambiance and service! Everything on perfection!

I went here recently on a weekend and found this place spacious and amazingly decorated!

Most attractive is Salsa Dance and the music they roll on! The food menu is filled with variety of options, where can you find authentic Mexican and Indian food under one roof.

Last time I had Buffalo chicken wings and Burritos, when I was in Las Vegas and to my utter surprise I found these two better in India @ El Sabor. Chicken Tikka Masala and Smokey Galouti Kebab were exquisite. Choose any from the desserts, all are super delicious and the way it is served is amazing!

El Baliente is a cocktail that you would not want to miss! The best part about this place is the connect that staff makes with customers which drags you to this place again n again!

Sigue Adelante El Sabor!

I went with my office colleagues, the place ambience was very salsa ready kind, mexican feel. We ordered lot of food, quality overall was good and serving style was different. While it was a costly expense, the mexican experience was diffetent and good. In between the salsa started and suddenly lot of people started performing to it. We had a descent dance party.

The place is superb. A fresh addition to Gurgaon's foodscape. The preparations are a delight. It is surprisingly rare to find good Mexican outlets IN Delhi NCR and El Sabor does know how to serve AUTHENTIC Mexican food! Must try their delicious tacos complimented with excellent cocktails!
Arushi Malik
It was a great place with amazing ambience and really good mexican food. Their tacos were one of the best I had and their cocktails were also amazing. And the salsa dance going on was icing on the cake. Had a wonderful time. All the best team El Sabor!!
Vikas Jain
Honestly I had high expectations from an only Mexican restaurant. While the overall ambience is good the food is what really lets you down. The dips are watery. The salsa has no tomatoes and onion that you can taste. Which Mexican restaurant does not serve guacamole with Fajitas and instead some green mango chutney. The guacamole can be ordered separately. Either I don’t know what Mexican food is or you you don’t....all the best

If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, coupled with great drinks and warm hospitality, this is the place for you. The ambience is great and welcoming. The LIIT and old fashioned were amongst the best I've ever had. We tried the chef special quesadilla, and I have to say it was authentic Mexican. All in all, a brilliant experience.
