The place has a nice ambience. The food was great, specially daal makhani. Our server Sachin, had a great positive and customer friendly attitude. Loved the dining experience there.
Had a family dinner at cafe g...Harshit and neeraj was the best...they fulfill all our requirements on time....food was amazing...specially thx to chef ajay....
Great ambience, loved the veg and chicken biriyani both!! Very supportive staff. My kid was fussing, they got along with her till we had our lunch.
I went there for my valentine and what am amazing servive did i receive. I was assited by Aditya who explained me the buffet deal and also took me to a food tour in the cCafe G. I am floored away with their Italian cousine. Must try for sure :)
This restaurant is serving very tasty food, service by mr. Neeraj is excellent, he was taking care our food requirements very seriously. I appreciate the management and mr. Neeraj for his services and food quality.
Had gone there a couple of months back with a friend for Sunday breakfast. Overall spread was nice. Chicken Dimsums were mouth watering. Salmon was also pretty good. Nice ambience and friendly staff. Must try.
Been to crowne plaza while in gurgaon. Very nice place for breakfast. Huge variety of indian and continental food. Freash fruits, juices, cerals, nuts etc. Good nonveg and south indian food as well. A must try place in gurgaon.
The food and ambience is good. We tried the ala carte. The staff is especially courteous. Zomato needs to update the food menu.
Great food, great ambience and courteous staff. Loved it!
Dined at cafe g a couple of days ago to celebrate my grandparents' anniversary, and had a delightful experience. Restaurant (within the hotel) has got multi-colored interiors & lighting ( the chandeliers have bulbs of varying colors) that gives the restaurant cheerful looks. The food spread was lavish and consisted of multiple cuisines - Indian, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, European... The place was teeming with professionals on business visits. Cuisine spread seemed to be well thought of to cater to everyone's taste. Most importantly, food was delicious. Staff (Amit and avinash served us) was courteous too. They were extremely hospitable and deliberate in their efforts to make our experience more pleasant. Overall, I loved the place and would pay it another visit.
We wnt there for buffett breakfast it is one of those places that serve the best paranthas and also they have chicken curry in buffett menu the ambience is good so is service amazing experience.
The food is extremely tasty and the staff is very warm too. I had the breakfast buffet and it was very nice.
I would highly recommend South Indian options from the breakfast menu which are pretty much the same everyday and do try the roasted tomato, it's different.
Overall experience was pleasant. Would definitely be back.
Considering buffet breakfast of other hotels in Sector 29, Gurgaon. I can now say Crowne Plaza gets the crown.
Calm ambience, beautiful view, loads of items to fill your tummy. Being vegetarian, I liked they have so many veg options. Their fresh juices and shakes are must try. Noodles, Paranthas, Dosa, salad everything tasted great. Gulab Jamun were so soft and with right amount of sugar. Overall it was a 5 star breakfast for me.
It was delightful visit to Cafe G. Ambiance is very good, staff is really humble and polite. We enjoyed every moment here, Mr Avinash and other team members are so good and hospitality is at its best. Kudos Team. I will keep on visiting.
Cafe G is a casual dining restaurant at Crown plaza . Decent and simple ambience . The staff is extremely courteous, professional and helpful. The food is good , although they don’t have much variety in ala carte. Their Sunday breakfast and brunches are a great option . Their bakery things are to die for - so fresh and yummy . Cafe G is a great place if you are looking for quality food and great service . I have been here a couple of times to celebrate some birthdays and anniversary’s. One must try their Thai curry and pizzas . The spices are customised as per your requirements. Also , have been here for a lavish breakfast which was awesome 👍
We visited on a whim here on Saturday afternoon. The restaurant wasn't crowded at all, hence to our delight we were able to seat ourselves close to the fountains outside.
Buffet spread was quite nice with a mix of Asian, European, Japanese and Indian dishes. Loved European and Japanese dishes and liked the remaining.
They need to really improve their service though. Despite not many diners, they couldn't quite keep pace with orders given at live counters, and were slightly under trained to answer in English.
Overall, one can visit for a quite buffet at relaxed pace.
One of my favourite cafe with awesome food and Best hospitality. It’s quite place with Zomato gold benefits for A la Carter is very reasonable too.
The food is good. Ambience is outstanding and so is the service. The restaurant manager treated us well. Loved the little art gallery in the Hotel as well!
The food, ambience and place was awesome as expected but sometimes we miss out on appreciating the great hospitality by the staff. Here i would like to come forward and thank a special person i meet at Cafe G i.e. Avinash Yadav. A great person, lovely host and personality. His sheer skills made our dinner more special and would really like to thank this awesome guy. Keep up the good work and we will definitely come and meet you in person.
Amazing food and hospitality. Cafe G is one of the finest places i have come across. Food and customer service both are amazing. The staff was very courteous especially Nishant who was handling our table.
I always ordered my cake from Crowne Plaza because I found it so good in quality and it makes me feel special to present the cake and to celebrate with my family and friends. For me, it was recommend by Mr. Tenzin Phurbu (F&B Supervisor) and I would love to recommend all to atleast have a bite to feel the taste better. Then, you will come to know why I always go for Crowne Plaza's cake. Thank you, Tenzin for introducing me to this sweet taste.
We went there for dinner, and were just surprised to see the spread.
I loved the fresh fish tikka, Cafe G pizza And the biryani.
Mr.Tenzin who made our dinner more exciting by serving us with his heart full of love and some amazing desserts.
Serving size is decent and beautifully presented.
Ambience - In line with a five star decor and nothing out of the box
Food & Drinks - Most of the items on the buffet are above average though the best was Indian dishes.
Staff & Service - Friendly & super quick. We went with our infant and they made sure we enjoy our meal without any hindrance.
My review for this place is based on multiple visits. The ambience of this place is lovely with a beautiful courtyard view. It is a multi-cuisine all day dining restaurant that offers wide range of international cuisine. Their sumptuous Sunday Brunch is a must try, as the spread is big and lavish. We couldn’t try it, as we reached late and they were just wrapping up the Sunday Brunch spread. So we went for a la carte and ordered Chefs signature Grilled Pork Chops, Corn Fed Chicken with Green pepper sauce and White Wine. Even though presentation wise both the dishes look almost the same, I really liked the grilled Chicken it was cooked to perfection full of flavors, juicy and delicious, Pork was average and one of the pork chop was overcooked.
My second visit to this place was on my birthday. We had Tandoori kukad, Draught beer battered fish fillet and Wood fired Pepperoni pizza (with loads of cheese). Everything was full of flavors and delicious. My favorite was the tandoori murg, it was so soft, tender and melted in mouth.
The staff is very friendly and courteous. Would definitely visit this place again to try their Sunday Brunch.
Nice place .Courteous staff.i ordered tomato soup and pizza both were good.dal makhani was also good.paneer I ordered in main course was average.
Went for a lunch this weekend, was amazed to feel the nice ambience. Food was really Yummy 😋; staff’s is polite & friendly. Loved it :) ❣️❣️👌
Specially the desert. Styled and Cooked in a way like Heaven on a plate itself😍
Worth every penny😇
Looking for a good place for your Sunday brunch ?
Nice ambience and super delicious food with a pretty good variety of cuisines.
They’ve got all from pizza’s to sushi’s. Everything is up to mark on the menu! The Indian main course is soo goood! Kali Mirch paneer and the mutton deserve a mention! Must trys. They also have a small little chat section with all the chats and apni puri but the pani puri wasn’t that good being honest. Sushi’s were really good they had crab, tuna and salmon sushi’s. In the Indian breads I tried lacha parantha it was one of the best lacha parantha I’ve ever had!
So yeah it is an amazing place for Sunday brunches!
A place of good food.
Hygeind
where it is more happening and kost nicely made with the most eye catching interioir.
This place is blessing for the people put up in gurugram.
I visited this place and that was a great day.
I had a lot of food over there in crowne plaza.
Went there on 7th of August for breakfast buffet and it was really very nice. The spread was extravagant and each and every food item was very well made, very well presented and extremely delicious. The south Indian food, chhole kulche and meethi lassi were possibly the best ever. I make it a point to not give 5 star rating to anyone and everyone but with the experience I had there, I must. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.
Cafe G at the Crown Plaza (G’gaon) was a perfectly good decision to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday.
Starting with the wonderfully polite service & welcome, to the food spread (buffet), the food quality & taste, all of it made our evening most memorable.
F&B - Friday evenings are usually themed as “Barbeque” nights. The huge array of raw meats used for the bbq. is highly impressive and quite tasteful.
Apart from the BBQ spread ; the Sushi bar, the salad bar, the continental spread were delicious too. Didn’t have any tummy space for the Oriental & Indian cuisines but the feedback from the other family members was rather positive.
I thank the entire team of Cafe G for making it so special for us.
We’re definitely aiming at trying the Sunday brunch next.
The past few months, Wildfire, their Brazilian Restaurant has been closed for renovation, {though now open} making Cafe G the only fine-dine restaurant in the hotel. Known for its Sunday Brunch and vast buffet, Cafe G has a quite loyal base of diners. I have been visiting Cafe G for quite a few years now and their buffet can be a remarkable dinner experience. However, A La carte lacks behind with a limited menu. ...
It was on a pleasant evening in Faridabad when we chose to risk the traffic towards Gurgaon for a lavish luxurious dinner...It was a special occasion which deserved to be celebrated, hence we were sure we wanted to splurge.. Our search ended up at this Crowne Plaza hotel where we opted to try out Cafe G, after hearing many reviews... Cafe G is all-day multi cuisine restaurant and is just as luxurious as its hotel. The restaurant is a complete package when it comes to service, food and ambience. The moment you step into the foyer, you get the gist of what the place is all about...
Once you decided to indulge, money should not be hindrance. Cafe G is unpretentiously expensive so have a care...Thanks to my wife as she managed to get us deal on special discounted price. Their menu is global and covers a lot of base by tackling Asian, Caribbean, French, Indian, Italian and many more beautifully... The food is spectacular and the service is second to none. We feasted on food that was inspired from many countries... I don't remember all the menu as it was very exaggerated.. Few dishes were: Roster chicken with duet sauce, sliced fish with bok choy, rosemary stenced potato wedges, veg Ratatouille, risotto, balsamic infused vegies, toast with variety of cheese(emmental, brie, cheddar, edam and many more) and vast variety of dessert... was an amazing experience to feel like you were travelling world from the dinner table. A great night by all accounts - don't miss out !
Went to crowne plaza cafe g for lunch with team mates.
Ambience , services full marks.
After reception they had sittings and bar and then there was section with full of sweets.
cake's pastries just saw them and get goose bumps.
Then u get enterance towards Cafe G with very unique ambience and stylish sitting.
Buffet includes unlimited soft drinks, Italian, north Indian, salads.
There was variety of breads with different dips.
Salad section contained Aloe vera juice, sprouts kept in cute small glasses.
Golgappa's and papdi chat was fresh and yummy.
Loved every part of it.
Seasoned Director F&B Umesh Dalal and Exec Chef Nilesh Dey, have teamed up in Hotel Crowne Plaza Today, Sector 29, Gurugram to create magic through their delicious delicacies for the guests.
According to Exec Chef Nilesh, he prefers to use less of spices as flavor of spices overpower the taste of the dish and he wants the dish to come out with the taste of the main Veg, lentil itself.
The hotel has large number of Foreign guests with more of Japanese guests. Cafe G is a huge area with different style of seating and Alfresco as well. In this Cafe G itself is a small outlet named OSHII, to cater to the Japanese guests with live Tapanyaki Counter.
To start with Health Section, have a good variety of home grown herbs, fresh healthy juices, like Aleovera juice, Veg and Non Veg Salads, like GRILLED LAMB & PUMPKIN SALAD, ROASTED CHICKEN &WILD ROCKET SALAD, Exotic and seasonal fruits. Have Live sections for Pizza and Pasta.
Relished TAPANYAKI CHICKEN RICE, CHICKEN PASTA, mouthwatering SUSHI, the Sushi platter was so attractive as was plated beautifully.
Array of limsmacking desserts like DODA TART, PRUNES TART, ORANGE JELLY, PEACH CRUMBLE, FRESH MANGO PASTRY, ......are there in bite sizes as the team wants more and more desserts to be enjoyed by the guests.
Spent awesome time relishing the dishes and chatting with Chef.
A great restaurant with the variety of flavours and different cuisines . Had a great time and enjoyed the best vegetarian items . This restaurant deserves to be in a 5 star . The aroma and the blend of tastes just took me to rate them completely 5 .
I always travel in search of good food and so where I spent my evening yesterday needs to come in my good books ..!!
Every hotel and F&B outlet has their USP's to be different and offer something good to their guests. Here in #cafeG #crowneplazatoday #sector29gurgaon, very talented and highly experienced Chef Nilesh Dey tries to give you healthy food which is less on spices yet full of flavours by using fresh ingredients and hurbs. The buffet at #cafeG has a choice of North Indian, Chinese and Continental with elaborate dessert and Salad sections even a chaat section to tickle your taste buds. And it's all live kitchen.
The restaurant has another Japanese restaurant #oshii within, catering to the varied guests requests. Loved their sushi platter with awesome plating.
The salad section which is actually a health section with lots of veg n non veg cold salads like fish tikka salad, grilled lamb salad and tuna salad and one can fill up by joint in for just salads to feel light n energetic.
Tapanyaki chicken rice was liked by us all. Penne pasta in white sause was creamy n just perfect to our liking. Sushi platter was a feast to the eyes with excellent plating.
In North Indian tandoori tangri Masala in colourful gravy was delicious so was the the creamy cottage cheese and delicious with assorted indian breads.
Dessert section is so tempting and one needs to keep room for it. Loved the doda tart and yummy prune tart. All desserts are kept in small sizes so one can try many and yet not waste, which is quite right.
We have seen the enthusiasm and efforts of Umesh Dalal the director F&B in the past hotels who is always upbeat and trying new things to enhence the F&B of the hotel.

My visit to delhi brought me close to this world-class restaurant, I was staying at crown plaza during my stay and I used to have breakfast in here.

The restaurant is spacious with wide variety of food starting from Chinese/American/South & North Indian with live counters for Omelette/Waffles and Dessert
The staff was courteous and they were in and around the customers making sure there requirements were fulfilled.
Food:
As mentioned above morning buffet caters different variety of food to make sure they please different types of customers coming from different countries, food was amazing and I enjoyed every bit of it.
I did gain few POUNDS !!

I was staying at this hotel so buffet was complimentary, however the price was nominal according to five star standards.
Overall Experience:
I love this hotel and the restaurants here, specifically Cafe G and I would like to visit this place again.
I would like to thank all the staff for making our wedding anniversary celebration to top especially Mr. Vijay Chauhan for making the arrangement that suits the occasion. They arranged a beautiful bouquet & lovely cake along with a bottle of house wine. Food was outstanding as always. It’s one of my favourite restaurant.
Again thanks to all for the magnificent experience!

Navratre thali at Cafe G, Crown plaza gurgaon.
When you are in company of Chef Nilesh and Umesh Dalal , be assured you will always get exceptional food. The twist represents the innvovation behind the the modern presentation of navratre thali which makes the thali absolutely stunning! Their thali hasvery delicious aloo dahi and their aloo zeera topped my list. Stay tuned for more updates.
I have liked the food better than many 5 stars. Ambiance is super. Papad, Salad snd Raita were high quality. Veg pulao, mutton roghan josh and chicken was just toothsome. What i liked the most was the food was perfect with right quantity of oil and condiments. Malayi koftas looked so soft that it felt like they are made of cotton balls. The desserts were not up to the standard. Naan was soft and had taste of itself. They only served kulfi, fruits, jalebi and rasmalayi. I did not like any of it. All of these were exceptionally ordinary. Expected more but overall enjoyed the food.
The buffet has a variety of cuisines ranging from South Indian to Italian. I liked their fish curry and few of the salads along with the fruit juices and some desserts. Their thin crust veg pizza was cheesy and tasty.
The all-day dining, multi-cuisine restaurant never disappoints ! This restaurant has nicely lit, well- appointed interiors, the ala-carte menu although limited, is very nicely spread ! The buffet spread is really good, especially after they added the sushi counter. A nice dining experience overall !
The food was simply delectable! Loved the simplicity and hospitality of the Cafe. Special compliments to Chef Kuldeep for serving me home made khichdi.
A good five star all day dinning.
Situated at the ground floor of Hotel Crowne Plaza.
Amazing collection of breakfast material.
Healthy food is available.
Breads are a wide variety, but all are mostly containing egg.
Good option. Thanks team G.
I booked a table here for my birthday and had buffet dinner. They do have a lot of varieties and i tried everything from soup, breads, sushi🍣, Indian street food like Chaat, dahi bhalla to noodles, manchurian, corn kababs, paneer tikka, pasta and what not. And everything was really tasty. They serve a lot of curries for Main course (dal Makhni wasn't good though) and desserts. Cheesecakes and croissants were really yumm!! It costs 3000 per person including taxes. But Crowne plaza gurgaon is definitely recommended. And the one in rohini, is definitely a Nayy!!
Had a lovely lunch at cafe G , a great fine dine buffet restaurant in a top and much appreciated hotel in gurugram. Suave and cosmopolitan are few terms that strike you. The ambience is great and a great place to dine with your family and friends. Staff is very courteous and make you feel at home. Cafe g has a variety of cuisines on offer. The best dishes that I tried were the tandoori starters, in main course the mutton rogan josh, dum biryani. They also have variety of cocktails and mocktails on offer. They serve north indian , continental and chinese cuisine. It is an overwhelming buffet. I tried their desserts and fresh fruits too.
Few days back we visited this place for the Brunch. They have a great ambience and located in one of the best hotel chains. The location is right next to the sector 29 market. The food had a lot of variety and number of cuisines on offer. It is sure to satisfy your taste buds. The buffet is a delight and must try.
In short, a place full of good food. We tried their buffet and it was a total treat. It wasn't spicy, it wasn't bland but just perfect. Thousand of things to eat, but the stomach could hold only so much. Going to visit the place often.
A picturesque place with flowing water and a rich air to itself. Cafe G has struck the chords of my heart in a perfect manner. A suitable breakfast place for a girl's day out or a couple. The staff is courteous and well trained. I was here for a cupcake shop and the tutorials by the chef was highly insightful. Looking to go back for an elaborate breakfast experience next time. I shall keep you posted about it.
The ambience is brilliant, the service is excellent. The spread in the breakfast buffet is great and covers a wide range. The salads and fruit and the egg station is great. The South Indian section is average
My last experience of cafe g was very good so I wanted to reserve visit for a special occasion. I was traveling for last 3 weeks so I had to do something special with family and It was My mother in law birthday. So we decided to visit cafe G for lunch. Food spread was good, indian, continental, Japanese. Quality of food needs uplift. Talumein Soup was blend and cold, Wasabi was blend. family enjoyed salad, continental food (fish with herbs, mashroom, chicken) and service was very good.
Absolutely lovely dinner at Cafe G
Staff is very friendly helpful and the food is delicious. Had a private sitting and completely enjoyed being pampered :) keep it up
Eaten here few times during my stays. Good place and ambience. Service is excellent. And food was good as well. Kathi wrap was particularly good
The breakfast buffet surprised me, the best one in the town. The value for money for breakfast is very good. The variety of food is wide! The personalized service and Chef interaction makes the experience special
The breakfast is an elaborate affair here. There is so much of variety and option that you might feel lost. The bakes are oven fresh and the spreads are delightful. The service is also very smooth and commendable. The staff is attentive to all the guests and are always ready to help. Otherwise the menu has limited options but the food is really worth!
If not exorbitant then not less either a very good buffet. And the choices are good too. Well my friend surprised me with flowers and chocolates and cookies and all of it was amazing
Not only the look of it but also the taste. The best was the the customization and small tiny little things they overly take care of. For instance I told them I am sensitive to vinegar so they took extra care with my food. And pampered me with raw salmon sandwiches just the way I like it
Just enough cooked pasta with loads of bacon and ham my favorite and most importantly the overwhelming buffet. Starting from Indian cuisine to continental to Chinese and Japanese and Mediterranean cuisine I was simply over stuffed. But I had to try their deserts and fresh fruits and juices. Nothing their can beat their red meat rightly cooked in the Mediterranean cuisine and lastly dimsums being my weakness
Biriyani is good. But the mutton gravy surpasses everything else. While salmon sandwich being my favorite
Over all rating
Ambience - 5 /5
Staff - 4.5 /5
Food quality and option - 5/5
Pricing - ha ha ha you surely would get a dent at the end of it all
On a scale of tastometere I call it Yagilicious
For CafeG
Visited this restaurant with my family last week i must say the services are superb the food concepts are nice and unique!
I visited the restaurant during the lava stone festival which I found very interesting!
Altogether a great family dine restaurant!
Delicious food, very personalized service by the team members, extremely attentive. The ambiance is warm and soothing. Price is quite reasonable. The best part is it's location.
Cafe G is a fine dining restaurant located on ground floor on Crown Plaza Hotel. Went their for our Anniversary dinner and opted for their dinner buffet with unlimited drinks.
Ambiance is exotic, with different sitting areas, water, glass partition, open kitchen.
Everything from salads, cheese, crackers, fruits, appetizers, main course and lastly the dessert was very nicely displayed.
Taste was awesome and ingredients used were fresh. They have a live counter also which varies on days.
Service was quite prompt and staff was attentive.Overall it was a nice experience, go there if you are looking for a relaxed evening with your partner.
Everytime i come here i just love the breakfast and food offerings. I have tried the Champagne brunch on Sunday ...totally amazing...a must try!
Visited Cafe G last week after hearing a lot about it. Must say, a wonderful experience it was. A customer expects a good service, familiar ambience, "good food" of course, variety if you're a vegetarian. And bang on! Cafe G is a place for you!!
The breakfast buffet was next level and best in the town. The value for money for breakfast is very good. The variety of food is wide and the coffee is very good! The personalised service and Chef interaction makes the experience all the more special
Love the buffet spread for Breakfast! Morning bakeries selection is awesome and a healthy counter with juice selection is apt for us health conscious freaks! Highly recommended!
What a Meal !!!Excellent Service Experience .. definitely not a one time visit ..it's my personal favourite for any celebrations. it's a must must visit
Cafe G is a nice looking place. The dinner buffet is quite extensive, specially for the vegetarians , as we are limited with the options. The good thing is that despite the wide variety there is no compromise on flavour. very good service. Enjoy the unlimited Buffet food at this place and ensure to go empty stomach for the dinner else you will miss awsome variety of desserts
A pleasant experience I got from this outlet. This outlet is situated on the ground level and it straight attracts your attention towards the ambience. Good food new innovative things as well as new ideas are being used as it can be seen in there presentation and eye appeal pointers. As what u see that is being sold. Nice staff they are trying to be very courteous by not leaving there attention towards the guest. Food variety is huge. I went for buffet. The taste its presentation its quality is absolutely upto the mark.
Cafe G has lovely ambience. The staff is courteous and friendly. I had ordered a crowne sandwich. It was good in taste and very filling. If you are looking for a reasonably priced place then Cafe G isn't the right place. Pricing is a bit on a high end but it was worth having food here.
thee food is soo yummy its soo delicious loved it the taste iss fabulous and i visit there from patiala,, love the food and inrior tovisit there..
The ambience looks like it has recently been redone. It was very pretty, new and comfortable. We went here for a buffet dinner on a Thursday evening. The restaurant was fairly full with people. The spread was lavish. The salad and dessert counter were refrigerated - acts as a good technique to preserve the food, but kills the freshness. Japanese counter was my favourite - they made fresh sushi's for us. Indian and Chinese counters were usual and good. No soft beverages were included in the buffet deal. Overall, a good buffet spread for a weekday.
The Place is just amazingingly best to go.
Great food
Excellent ambience
a good variety of food to choose,
Everything is just great about this place,
a must go!
Fine dining with a lovely view is what I expected from something in crowne plaza and thats what I got..not only the buffet is vast buy also tastes well..service is quite prompt..looking for another visit to this place..
On my recent visit to Cafe G we have ordered Wood Fired Pizza. The pizza came in close to 25 minutes, hot & looked scrumptious. Generally when u see the food to your liking it tastes well but things were little different here. The pizza was kind of tasteless. I shared my feedback with the staff just after having a bite, but he said it is the same what they generally serve here and it is authentically cooked. Really? I didn't know how authentically cooked pizza taste. Many thanks for sharing the Same. 2.5 stars for the ambiance, .5 star for service and .5 star for the pizza is my honest opinion.
Sprawing suave cosmopolitan sophisticated are few terms that stikes me whenever I have to say anything about this venue.
Each term defines the grace and class of this perfect place. Situated in an amazingly appreciated hotel known as the Crowne Plaza this is a multi concept restaurant with an extraordinary spread of buffet abd while I relished the spanish buffet concept on my visit I was oretty much amazed looking at the tapas section and also the north Indian delicacies too served concomitantly with so much to gorge and so little to have ... it was mind boggling.
Loved it.
Cafe G was chosen for my birthday dinner last Sunday. The food was very good, staff was hospitable. Special thanks to Mr. Chandra, Mr. Ganesh and Mr. Prashant for taking care of things and ensuring everyone is attended to.
This place is a perfect balance of elegance, hospitality, comfort, serenity and delicious food.
Perfect for a fine date with some super awesome sumptuous and perfectly made food.
MUST MUST VISIT 😊

Cafe G is Crowne Plaza Today, Gurgaon’s signature, all day restaurant.
A real 5 star experience. Loved the place and the ambience. Food was excellent and since we went out for buffet every variety tasted very good.
Would like to go again.
If you want to go to eat best breakfast with you bunch of friends this is it .. You will feel a warm welcome from the staff .. Eat as much ad you can bcz you are never finished with the options that they serve ..
my personal favourite breakfast buffet place in gurgaon.. fresh juice and egg benedict is what needs to be had.. sausages, breads and omelettes are good too..
nice and quaint with the usual hotel residents most of the time..
We went for a corporate dinner. The place is worth the money spent. There is a wide range of food & the options are also good enoung. Since the dinner buffet has various range of drinks the value for money doubles. The place is perfect to plan a family dinner or even visit with corporate visitors.
What an ambiance! Really feels like a true five star. You’ll be welcomes with a soft scent of freshness and lush interiors – High ceilings and velvet couches, wide layouts and neat and tidy seating areas. They also have a sitting area outside with grassed lawns and waterfall ornaments.
They also have bookings available for bigger groups and even for 20 people it’s not a problem.
The food order of my group started with Paneer Tikka, stuffed mushrooms and veg cutlet. The Paneer tikka was really soft and well marinated. Tasted great with their mint chutney.
The mushroom was a little bland though. No the greatest thing on the table.
The veg cutlet was good and soft. Not too spicy.
I also had the watermelon juice which was pretty ordinary. So I don’t suggest fresh fruit juices when you’re in a 5 star.
Their buffet layout looked very interesting but I had to rush. I shall be back for that soon.
I recommend this place for a one on one private meetings, or a formal catchup over coffee.
Good place.....very nice ambience. It's a very nice &. Cozy Place ...I must be go again & again.
It's ambience is very interesting.
So I will go again & again.
My overall rating for this place ......4.0
Great place for foodies.Must trys restaurant.seafood buffet is amazing.Japanese food is delight. Service is exceptional server Akhilesh takes care very well and give attention to detail.perfect place for dinner with friends.
All the best.
Fusion food that works-Cafe G
I seldom go to places where WHATEVER I have, tastes good. I mean whatever. From drinks to food, everything is done with so much of thought and care, Crowne Plaza Gurgaon, you have actually won my heart.
My visit here began with a small tour of Crowne Plaza. Crowne plaza is actually trying to bring some really new and innovative concepts in market. From a Brazilian fine dinning restaurant(wildfire) to a 24 hour open bar (Connexions), Crowne Plaza is really working on his game.
I was here to taste food from their ongoing Japanese Festival at Cafe G. My host of the day was Indrashis Sinha. Really sweet gentlemen who explained me all the dishes with utmost patience and sweetness. Our chef for the day was "Aryanto", though he prefers being called Ryan.
My meal began with Soya Chap mushroom curry sushi. The sushi was fried and with each layer there was a different flavor. First the crispness of the crust, with the softness of the rice mixed with the gooeyness of the sauce and finally the chuckiness of the soya. So much happening in just one bite (woaaahh).
Next were Shimeji Mushrooms. Having these mushrooms for the first time in my life- Oh my! oh my! oh my! These mushrooms are so juicy and were cooked so beautifully. The mushrooms seem hard at first but when you cut them open, they are so soft and succulent. Perfect combination of two textures. Chef Ryan told me these mushrooms were specially bought with him from his last visit to China.
For the mains we were served Vegetable Teppanyaki noodles and again they tasted really good. For drinks we ordered whiskey sour and dirty martini. Cafe G knows their cocktails, both were made to an absolute perfection.
We were almost nearing the end of the meal, when Chef Ryan said if we would like to try something else or repeat something. I don't know why I just said, "Why don't you surprise us?!" I think those were the best words that could have ever come out of my mouth because after that the foooood that came out (OMG!!).
So what is an actual fusion food? A fusion food is when you bring out the best of two worlds and make them work together in a dish. Let me tell you one thing, Chef Ryan has MASTERED this art. Not only did these dishes compliment each other beautifully but the thought of using them together, sounded so disgusting yet-yet-YET they work soooo well together.
The first dish was paneer tikka sushi. The though of paneer tikka with rice sounds sooo gross but somehow it worked soo well together. It was accompanied with drops of mint chutney and spring onions. We had it without soy sauce and wasabi. I could not believe I was going for seconds and thirds. IT WAS THAT GOOD!!!
Now the time for the show stopper. So Chef Ryan did not tell me the ingredients of this sushi, he was like "taste it and you tell me the ingredients." He had that nasty grin on his face, so I knew at once this thing is going to be definitely something special. I put the sushi in my mouth and a very familiar taste was coming in my mouth. I was thinking-"No Astha, you are mad, how could it be what you are thinking." But let me tell you I was not mad, Chef Ryan is a magician. It was a Dhai Bhalla Papdi Sushi (oooooooh). I stood up and gave the chef a standing ovation. How do you make dhai bhalla papdi work with a sushi?!!! And trust me its one of the best things I have ever eaten in my life. It was made with absolute perfection.
For dessert we were served silken tofu cheesecake. Another specialty of Chef Ryan. This dessert tastes exactly like a cheesecake and yet does not have the calories, a cheesecake would contain.
So, if you are visiting Cafe G, make sure you dine with Chef Ryan and don't forget to use the magical words "Chef Ryan, please surprise me!!"
Yesterday night had buffet dinner at the restaurant Cafe-G Some outstation guests were invited. The beginning was pretty disappointing, since table was in corner, we requested one the managers at billing counter to serve few snacks at the table, on which he rudely refused. Never expected this kind of behavior as we never had such experience in any of the restaurants we have visited so far.
Steward Mr. Mahesh and Manager Mr. Nitesh Sharma came for rescue and told us that all shall be well taken care.
They both did it, fresh and hot snacks were served to us and all our needs were promptly handled.
Service part was well taken care but certain things were missing in display.
Salads were empty and no one was bothered to replenish. Things had spilled on floor and no cleaning.
Teriyaki were slightly dry and most disappointing was the veg one were they served all cut salad of majorly cabbage.
Majority of persons missing behind the counters except the Tandoor guy, his breads were yummy. Do not miss his special Garlic Nan.
Food was fine but display needs more professionalism. Desserts were ok since pastries were dry and Gulab Jamun too sweet. Orange souffle was delicious.
Our overall experience was nice, actually expecting it to be great.
After so many years went in for Sunday buffet brunch. I think the hotel needs some renovations. We The had so many team parties in here in the past such amazing fun. At a price of around INR 1900 (incl. tax) with my Eazy Dinner booking per per person I think the buffet was quite value for money. Although I think staff was lacking in service had to wait so long for sparkling water, napkins etc. I think the hotel management need to work on getting more staff as what I saw was very few people. Dessert section was awesome sweets at its best. Loved the fish in butter sauce. This place for me is a historic place as one of the Gurgaon’s oldest property and it has amazing from the dining area. Would love to visit again to repeat history. Hope next time there is music along with food to enjoy.
One of the best place to enjoy yummy food. They have a huge buffet spread. Went there for dinner and got to try their Meerut special food delicacies. They had a separate dedicated street food counter and everything was lipsmacking. Starters were mouthwatering. Variety of salad options to choose from. Maincourse was the highlight and very delicious. Loved the sukka mutton and khameeri roti. Dessert again had huge variety. Vanilla icecream with jam was unique and very tasty also the kulfi falooda was lit. A special mention for the staff for being so generous and humble!
A very nice place with great ambience. If you really want to experience some good breads and a nice buffet in Gurgaon, this is the place you should go to.
P.s. The food was so tasty it forced me to ask “Who is the chef?”, so a big shoutout to Chef Swagat Mehta and great hospitality by Sunita.
The food here is amazing specially if you go for Sunday Brunch. Full of flavours and variety in every segment. They offer Indian, Continental, Chinese and Japanese food in the Buffett section. Wide spread of desserts are also available. The staff is very professional and hospitable. Overall the experience was pleasant.
Seeing such an extensive dinner buffet spread was a top-notch first impression. On top of that, they had two live counters (one barbecue grill and the other, a Teppenyaki grill).
The restaurant's immaculately delicious food and a lively atmosphere undoubtedly made it clear that this is a 5 star hotel restaurant.
I believe there are no complaints from my side, but I'll make a small observation, though. When there are multiple guests at the restaurant and the 2 live grill counters are also firing up often, kindly make sure that you adjust the AC cooling. As it had started getting warmer inside the premises, the last 5-7 minutes of my dining experience were a little uncomfortable due to the heat emanating from the grills nearby.
But overall, outstanding service and quality delivered! This place is a must-visit.
What an ambience & gesture from the staff i have received was really amazing.. And special thanks to Mr Chef Santosh who made us feel so homely and the food was literally amazing that i would like to visit once again up there.

Excellent cafe and dining experience. Would like to mention this gem of a person I met, chef santosh. The staff is courteous, humble and master at their job. Absolute delight !
This was my fourth visit in five years. I always love the buffet surved at Cafe G. But this time I think they have changed the seating arrangement and the buffet was also not grand like it use to be.
We went on Thursday dinner buffet for 1+1 offer via nearbuy.
The salad station was cool, we enjoyed the cold cuts and salads. My favourite was the Sushi counter. Although you can call them mini Sushi , just the bite size. But again you can have as much as you want. The Chinese was ok and Indian and mughlai was ok too but we didn't enjoy the European menu.
The dessert counter was good , specially the cup cakes and apple pies.
It was a working day so less people and the dishes were kept on for long so they looked dried out specially the European menu.
Overall it was good but not great.
The experience was exceptional and delightful coz of the service and hospitality we reviewed from ever smiling Mr. Mohit and Chef Sushil.
Kudos to the team for wonderful spread and amazing hospitality. Cheers 🍻
This spot serves extraordinary service and yummy meals. Special thanks to chef Santosh, a humble man with great talent. Highly recommended.
One of the best breakfast spreads in all of NCR. And love their food quality and attention to customer service. Have been going there since last 6 years and they have only gotten better with time. Keep it up team Cafe G and Vijay ji 🙏
Once you decide to indulge, money should be no hindrance.
What a lovely restaurant, good food and service and atmosphere, definitely hope to go back. The food was great and I want to express my thankfulness to the chef Santosh.Thank you again
