An authentic South Indian restaurant serving typical South Indian foods. Liked the dosa's. The chutneys are good. Ambience wise it's a nice place to go with family and friends. Do try the filter coffee too.

Ordered Ghee Roast Fish Curry with appam & it was so delicious that it reminded me of Goan food. Must try for seafood lovers.

It is such a nice place, i would recommend whole heartedly to everyone. Food quality, presentation, service, ambience all fab. If I really have to pick out a fault, they didnt change our plates between starters and main course🤣🤣

The place is located in Ambience mall and serves excellent south indian food. I loved the chutney they serve, the sambhar is average though. The vadas were crispy and freshly made, unlike many other places which serve soggy vadas. My nephew had mutton and was happy with the taste and quality. Their portions are definitely larger, so the place becomes value for money even though the rates are on the higher side (it's Ambience mall, so that is kinda expected). Coming to the service and ambience -- the service is very good, and prompt. The food arrived in less than 15 mins and was sizzling hot. The preparation looked fresh. The ambience is definitely very nice -- this is a kind of place which you can bring your family to for a dinner or lunch, and no one will be disappointed for sure.

Good ambience, variety of food available in both veg and non veg options. Dosas are very huge in size so if you're a light eater then order accordingly. But they are delicious. Service was quick. Good place to visit with friends and family.

A Luxury South Indian restaurant. No cons as such for this place. Remember : sizes of dosa are huge! 2 dosa can serve 3 people easily! They have a bar counter which serves juices & shakes. Seating area & interior is great. Staff is friendly. Food is awesome. Prices are bit high ( owing to its luxury status)

#dining #southindian #gurgaon #dosa #idli 💰Price - Rs 500-700 per person (without drinks) 🍱Food - Authentic South Indian food. You get the South Indian feel in every bite of food. We ordered Cheese onion dosa, masala paneer dosa, paneer uttapam- and all of them were amazing 🤩. The sides were Infact tastier than the main course 😉. Loved the coconut chutney 🥥. Probably the best I have ever had. 👩‍🍳🧑‍🍳Service - that’s a mix reaction. The service was slow (but that could be because I visited on a Saturday evening, so prime time problems). But otherwise they were courteous and responsive. Especially the ones with black uniform. My wife accidentally spilled apne chutney and one of them rushed to clean the mess, also have wet tissues etc. really liked the gesture. 🙂 🖼 Ambience - Ok South Indian feel to the place. You have paintings and some artefacts to reinforce the fact that you are In a South Indian place, but I think this can be worked on. Like if I compare it to Navaidyam, the minute u enter the place you know what you are there for. Zambar gives a vibe of South Indian fusion with North Indian / posh set up. 👯‍♂️ 😎Pro Tip - 1. On weekends there is usakaye waiting so always get your name on the list. 2. Check with Dineout / Times Prime etc., and you can get some real good deals. I got 30% off 😁 3. What they call spicy is not very spicy, so order accordingly. I ordered Paneer dish which they called out in the menu as loaded with chillis but it was just medium spicy.

Nice place for South Indian food in Ambience Mall. I love the cozy set up with low volume music. Dosas taste good, nice and crispy. Dahi vada in sweet curd is a must try. If one is looking for a healthy option, Idli is super soft and fresh. Thalis are unlimited, however taste of most of the dishes wont encourage you to eat a lot, so I would avoid thalis and order dosas here. Taking away a star as I would prefer serving staff to wear gloves while serving for hygiene reasons. Told the same to the manager but looks they they didn’t have gloves in stock. Will visit again to satisfy my South Indian cravings.

Zambar is a high end South Indian Restaurant which offers you a variety of South Indian cuisines both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. They are known for their Thali but there is a huge a la carte menu as well to explore. We tried the Ghee Gunpowder Idly Dry as starter follow by a Chettinad Chicken Dosa with Filter Coffee and a Paper Plain Dosa. Needless to say that the food was delicious, the ambiance of the restaurant also gives you an authentic South Indian vibe, the staff was courteous However it can be said that this restaurant might not suite everyone’s pocket but if you are visiting Ambience Mall, Gurugram do give this place a visit to explore some authentic and delicious South Indian Cuisines. Follow for more 😊
