Heard about the shawarma pita a lot so gave a try. It was absolutely delicious with loads of Mayonnaise.
And the tandoori momos and malai Tandoori momos had the perfect smoky and tandoor flavour into it. ๐
And the red chutney just stole the show. Overall it was an awesome evening with a lot of good food. Keep serving the best food always. ๐ค
The pehla pyaar as a growing teenage at the time when I first tried their classic burger and Afghani chicken, hands down one of the best thing I ever tried while growing up. And still after so many years every time I crave a burger or Afghani chicken it's my definite spot. And they also have donar kabab , Momo's and rolls which are recommend as well.
No doubt on my favourite list since my teen days.

Ordered chicken momos from grill republica with extra mayonnaise. The original price was 125 and I got it on Zomato offer for โน80/- The chicken was grinded well, texture was good, the crust of the momo could have been more soft though. The mayonnaise was tasty. Overall good momos.

Always loved their shawarmas, pitas & burgers. Adding to it is the newfound love for their momos. The smoked chicken momos & Malai cheese tandoori chicken momos were both quite good. Coupled with their mayo sauce & you have a combination you just can't say no to.

I tried the Tandoori Chicken with a ftiend of mine, and trust me, it is too good. One of the best places serving Tandoori chicken. The dip given with the tandoori is delicious too, and gives a sweet accompaniment with the chicken. Simply love it.
My favourite place for some yummy and within the budget desi food. I love their Afghani chicken. It's amazing for the price. Also, the chicken Malai kebabs are one of the better ones that I've had here. Also, the lachha parathas are so nicely made - thin and flaky. Most of the dishes that I've tried have turned out really yummy.
9/10 would recommend.
Also, I'm assuming you're a foodie and you'll go there for the food and not for the ambience.

It was damn good. It was tender and juicy and the rest of the ingredients are perfectly cooked. The best part is hygiene and love the way they made it and awesome taste. ๐
Special chicken roll , the wrap had a big well cooked and chopped pieces along with mayo and their masalas and sauce. The pieces were so yummy and put in good quantity that you can literally have one or two pieces in one bite. ๐ ( Sorry couldn't take the photo as I was very very hungry) ๐
Tandoori momos, they were all cooked in tandoor and the chicken filling was succulent and juicy. It also had the flavour of smoke and tandoor.โค๏ธ
Malai chicken momo, it was marinated well in spices with a sour and spicy flavours. ๐ฎ๐

The chicken egg roll was amazing. The perfect roll I have had in the city. Reminds me of the rolls back in Kolkata. Ordered for shawarma pita but due to unavailability, got a shawarma roll instead. It was tasty. It made my day, honestly. And the quantity of extra mayo was something I could die for. Only weird thing was the extra slice of Amul cheese which was given seperately with the package, do not know for what reasons. But overall, this place I always a favourite.

Ate Smoked Chicken here first time I visited this place on friend's recommendation.. One of the best I have tasted... From then on i have visited GR atleast 2wice a month... Barbeque chicken was delicious with a lot of sauce.. Best dish is hands down..Tandori Chicken.. with spicy chopped onions and mayonnaise makes ur mouth water... Looking forward to visiting again...
The Burgers here are freaking awesome and the Shawarmas equally good. Prompt and decent service. I highly recommmend the Pita Shawarma and Double Breast Burger here.

Went to this place for some eve snacks and ordered a chicken supreme burger.
Trust me here no taste bud of your tongue will be left unstimulated....the breast piece in the burger had a good combination of sweet, sour, a bit salty and spicy in a perfect way....the huge chicken pieces they grill outside itself waters your mouth.....all sponged with tamarind and various sauces....
You cant just go for one and stop....even if your stomach is full your tongue is not satisfied....
However as u can see its a small shop near the roadside so u dont get a place to seat and enjoy your order....anyway i can bet u would certainly complain of stomach problem after eating these spicy stuffs...
The thing that disappoints me is that its opening hours is a bit odd....

My friend took me there for first time and ordered double breast burger. It was very tasty with lots of chicken and mayonese not like other burger outlets.It was so big that I couldn't finish it at once .
For the first time I went to grill republica and tried the CLASSIC CHICKEN BURGER. The bun was really big in size,soft and fresh..the mayo filling was sweet and messy and super delicious. The sauces and the soft chicken and some sprinkles of onion made the burger

Visited there once and tried the double breasted chicken burger. It was very tasty with a lot of mayo and the chicken was moist. They can work on the ambience. Ps. The tattooed guy who serves there is hot!
I stay in Delhi, but whenever I visit my hometown guwahati, i can never ever miss having tandoori chicken from this place. It is simply awesome. So juicy n spicy they make. Tempting it is and ordering full plate is enough for 3people in my case. Lovely people working there. Greets customers so well. Highly highly recommend this plce to all non veg lovers. Immensely popular for their shawarma rolls and burgers, Grill Republica has made quite a name for itself over the years.
To be honest, I have a soft corner for this little spot but let's be objective in writing a review.
The food is usually pretty good and affordable, being a hit especially with the students. I've tried their burgers, shawarma pita and roll.
The pita was great, stuffed adequately with smoky chicken with mayo dripping down and the shawarma roll is fine as well. However, the meat used is not spit roasted, it's not as authentic but tastes delicious whatsoever.
Now the burgers. I usually look forward to having their burgers but on more than once have I found them disappointing. There is no meat patty as such but a few slices of boneless chicken and they sometimes miss out on the cheese. The onions are just served in rough slices and loaded with mayo.
I called them for home delivery once and that was a disaster! It took them more than two hours to deliver on a route that takes around a maximum of half an hour to 45 minutes.
All in all, pretty good food but there's room for a lot of improvement.

I have no complaints about this place as I am already a huge fan of their food. The chicken shwarma roll is my all-time favorite. The taste, the mayo in it and the soft roti combo is just superb.ย
Some of their grills like lemon chicken, smoked chicken, barbecue chicken, doner kabab and the afghan chicken are just perfect. The afghan chicken is creamy and so scrumptious and genuinely finger-licking good. Also, their burgers are pretty good. For grilled stuff, I'd always recommend Grill Republica. Awesome taste! Cannot get enough!

Grill Republica has developed into quite a brand name in Ghy and given the quality and taste of their products they deserve it. Just love their burgers and the shwarma and they are just too good. The healthy amount of mayonese adds to the brilliance. Would suggest this for anyone who likes good grilled food.

The best in class grilled meat burgers can be found here. The menu is quite pocket friendly. The Uzan Bazar joint is beautifully located near the banks of brahmaputra. It serves as a cool spot to try those hot tasty burgers.

Situated in the Latasil area, this place is infamously famous for their shawarma pitas and shawarma rolls. The double breast chicken burger is worth a try. Its full of chicken and mayo. The barbeque chicken tastes good too. Only drawback is they don't have a sitting arrangement. Due to its affordable prices and awesome taste, its always a favourite hangout of most of the people. Overall, a nice place.

Well, the name Grill Republica is enough for foodies in Guwahati and this outlet is no excpetion. The shawarma here is exceptional. But I wish they had some seating facility and that is the only reason i give a 4.5 and not a 5.

I'd been to the uzanbazar outlet for the first time with my gf. We tried smoked chicken and pita...it was stellar. The flavour and spices was just right and our taste buds begged for more...!! If u wanna have smoked chicken or grilled chicken nearby, look no further guys. Grille em' Republica....Bingo !

Dropped by during an late evening drive. Had been here many times before but this time, the place looked really neat after it's recent renovation and the owner himself was there at the counter.
Ordered it's famed smoked chicken n requested it to be made less spicy.
Now, the chicken was v tender, smoked to perfection and with the right amount of spice. Really enjoyed every bite.
Truly, one of the best places for BBQ n smoked chicken.

Its furiously fast and tasty as hell and whats more,easy on the wallet too.
I really loved the Chicken Shawarma Roll -really thin pita with shaved chicken and a mix of mayo and barbecue sauce. Could have had more of them
Classic Chicken Burger - it looked good but lacked substance as it was overloaded with their mayo(which a lot of ppl enjoy) and the chicken breast was too chewy.
AFGHAN CHICKEN IS THE BEST . No sitting arrangement so parked cars or you own residence is the only way out to devour everything served right in front of you. Sharwana pita is also another favorite and just looks appetizing. Durga puja will be the best time to devour everything palatable offered by them. Ony negative aspect is it remains open only during the evening hours so if you want afghan chicken during the day you only have to see the pictures and satisfy yourself.

Been a fan ever since they first set up shop and although I do think that their shawarma has somehow gone on a downward dip, I still don't mind rest of their items on the menu. For those of you are not so comfortable with standing and eating your food off a paper plate you should stay away. But you can always get stuff packed, which is what I think many customers do. As for the price, when you can get a shawarma roll for โน90 and half a plate of grilled chicken for โน160, why would you go anywhere else? If you are a meat-lover, do give it a go!
If you wanna eat burgers with oozing mayonnaise, here's the option. Real hunger buster burgers at a reasonable price. Not to forget the Swarma Roll. Good food, nice price. But a little more tidiness would be appreciated.

I thoroughly enjoy their version of the chicken pita and barbecue chicken. Its absolutely delicious. I love their house made mayonnaise - the subtle garlicy sweetness takes it to another level creating a mouth watering oomph. The pita is generously filled (or rather over filled) with their mayo. the chicken inside the pita is smothering in that delectable sauce.ย
Its an absolute joy to eat the pita.
The BBQ chicken is delicious too. However, sometimes its a little overdone thereby making it rubbery.

The food is great with a rather cheap and affordable prices. There are some delicious foods to eat which can full an appetite. The burgers are best in it. I can eat burgers the whole day in it.

This ratings only because this place hasn't got any seating area. You got to do a lot of cardio the day after you have the their double breast burger. Mayo and only mayo. So much creamy. And the tender grilled chicken breast inside. How i die to have their burgers. Must must try.
This place is a boon to Guwahati.
The BBQd chicken is perfectly barbequed in a sweet and soury sauce. Have it with some warm pita breads and there you go, heavenly.
The doner kebabs in mayonnaise also tastes delicious. But for someone who likes to spice up her chicken a bit, I would go for bbq-ed chicken any day.
The shawarma roll can get better and the burgers can get fuller.
The grilled chicken is a perfect delight. It takes around 25 minutes to prepare. I suggest you have it there, instead of taking it home.

This place has no seating arrangement so if you're okay with standing and taking a bite then you may like this joint. When interiors, ambiance etc are all kept aside and only the food is considered, this place is great. Have tried the Double Breast Burger(pictures attached), the Supremo Burger (which has a lot of cheese and pineapple for some reason), Smoked Chicken and also the Donar Kebab. All of them tasted great. The Donar Kebab and the Double Breast Burger are my favorites. If you are here you must try them both. 4/5 only because of the food.
I have been to 2 of Grill Republica's branches, at chandmari nd uzanbazar, bt found the cooking of the uzanbazar one's better. It currently is one of my favourite Roll destination's in the city. My favourite here although is the Shawarma Roll in Rumali Roti.

It is a small 'stand & eat' outlet, which offers different barbeque chicken options, along with BURGERS & ROLLS. .This is more of a takeaway restaurant which serves fast food and with really fast serving. I had "SUPREMO BURGER" which cost 100 rupees is quite good and juicy and the shawarma pita is surprisingly good. In one word its a value for money....
Tastiest and the most cheesy burgers are found here! And one burger is sufficient enough to stop the running rats in your stomach. One disappointment is that there is no space to sit down to enjoy ur food.
Either way you have to stand nearby and eat or go for a takeaway! Yeah.

For the amazing Pita (One of the best that I have ever had) I am ready to ignore the service and ambiance of the food.
This restaurant (more of a take-away joint) opens up only in the evening. So, avoid expecting it to be open during the daytime; which happened to me. I am not quite a fan of Middle Eastern Cuisine of Guwahati; you hardly get any! But, after being suggested by one of my foodie friends, I decided to take a stroll to Grill Republica.
To my surprise, the Pita was amazingly cooked. Although they replaced the Garlic Sauce with Mayonnaise, it did not really matter to me.
Food- 8/10 (Just for the Pita!)

The place runs only after 5 in the evening. Its not a place where u can sit n talk n have your food comfortably, but apart from that the service is quick. Burgars are good ... Shawarma is very tasty... Njoy the food with out thinking about the calorie intake....
Except for the lack of space for eating there and that it opens only from the evening, I can't say anything bad about it...for me, their Shawarma Roll is seriously the best I have had anywhere in India except for Delhi and their burgers are a treat for anyone who wants to have their burgers with lot of cheese...very considerable price range, it is a superb place for anyone looking for a quick bite during the evenings or for some special chicken during their dinners.

Taste: I have had food from Grill Republica before at their different outlets, but no matter where you taste from they never disappoint. This wings gives a spicy kick at the beginning which later goes down a bit and you get to relish the juicy tender wings.
Service: Fast, there were a lot of people but still they were quite fast
Price: Reasonable (this very dish was for Rs 130)
Overall, a good roadside place to have some delish food items. Do give it a go if not tried yet and hopefully you get to enjoy as well.
One of my favourite place to eat shawarma roll and momos. Many momo options are available. Malai momo is best among all. Mayonnaise served along with roll and momos is also very quality. This place is easily accessible. The service is good and the food is just mind blowing. However, it is not a proper place to seat and eat. You have on your hands, enjoy your meal and take an evening walk near Belle View.
They have maintained their taste over time. Tried their momos and barbecue chicken. Both were upto the mark. Chicken was juicy properly done.

This place is easily accessible. The service is good and the food is just mind blowing. The chicken rolls were juicy and the meat was tender. The sauces felt fresh and the service was on point too. The only thing I would deduct a point on is- I wish they had a place to sit. I say this because I ordered BBQ Chicken and the plate was so hot I almost burnt my hand and I did not a place to keep it. The area gets crowded and the pedestrians aren't a good place to stand and eat with a lot of people pulling and pushing you around..
They serve best barbeque, smoked momo chicken, rolls etc in the area. I like the chicken hot wings and chicken tikka roll which is why I often visit the place.
