This may be a small place but the poori sabji that you get here is beyond comparison with others. I visited this place many times for poori sabji and the tea. This place is always crowded as the people like the poori sabji a lot i guess like me.
This hotel is a very old hotel in the city. The people of the city mainly eat poori sabji and chai here.
Overall Rating:
Food quality: 4 out 5
Staff service: 4 out 5
This place here is very old. was one of the best tea joints.ir always remains too crowded.in winters the samosa and tea and a sweet are must to have from here. I hd the paratha once.i didn't like it that much. Must have the singara n malaichamcham from here.
There are those mornings when you crave certain something, and when it's puri-sabji, Lakshmi Hotel is the next thought for me. With a mere amount of Rs. 25 a plate of puri-sabji and chai is served here. Judging the quality of this food item with respect to where it is served would be utterly wrong.
Food, I believe has got interpretations more than just one. One such interpretation is nostalgia which drives me to a joint like Lakhimi Bhojonalay. A eatery cum confectioner present from a time when the line between the two was a faint one in these parts, still does what it has been doing all these years - provide a quick break. It definitely is not a place for those who crave sophistication & variety in what and where they eat. The food on the other hand is quite comforting, and served under less than 2 minutes most of the times. The poori sabji plate with a glass of tea is hot and yum but the utensils used to serve them - well not so hot and yum. Also worth trying are sweets like goja and lavanga which alongwith the singra definitely compliments the glass of tea and provides refreshment faster than maggi noodles.

The food is good and very quick service...
After long time got a chance to eat in a hotel and not a restaurant and that too in lakhimi....so famous and old. Yeah the standard of the hotel is not up to the level....but the food quality was undoubtedly superb..,..homely food...and that too cheap...veg thali only 40 bucks, in today's world that too...unlimited... , bhaat, 2 types of daal, sabzi, khakh, teeta, amor tenga....wow.....bodhiya ...next time maas bhaat khabo lagibo....
This is one of the oldest hotels in Guwahati don't go by the looks of this place but the food quality as well as the quantity will amaze you.The papaya khar is the best khars you can have in this place. Traditional Assamese cuisines are available and options are for both veg and non veg items. The hospitality of this place is great.

Best for morning breakfast. Its located in the heart of the city Ganeshguri. Place is sometimes very crowded because of their famous puri sabji which cost 25rps only. Tea and rasgulla is also tasty.. Highly recommended for breakfast. Prices are reasonable 👍
Serves good quality Assamese thali. Provides extra servings as much as you ask for. There is a tall man who will serve you as much rice you want but, if you ask for some other items from him he will not give you any heed. Their behavior is good. One day I was about to finish my food then they served me freshly cooked steaming mix vegetables. Nothing would have gone wrong if they would have not served me that dish because I was already given a full plate with all items. Once we asked for whole bhangun fish fry and they refused to serve that as it was cold i.e. it was fried some time ago. This incident proves that they are not money greedy. An uncommon feature of this place is there are some tables for single person also.
Nice place for tea and sweet, snacks..... It is near by to ganeshguri vishal, dispur polyclinic......... 1 of famous small restaurant in guwahati..... Food are great, staff are friendly and good, management also very good... Only not so much clean............ Try for tea.
This restaurant is one of the oldest in this area.
This place serves good food including light food, lunch and dinner.
This place serves special delivery of food for hospital patients in Dispur Hospitals.
This place is also good in serving the customers with essential components with food. They also have fast catering services.
This place.
Food quality is above average here with minimal disturbance from outside conditions. But the cleanliness of this place is quite questionable.
Very good quality puri sabji, thaali, etc. Recommended 😀
Only con is that sometimes it gets crowded so one has to wait a bit till the staff can serve you.
So now this is our current rendezvous. A sweet mundane place to hang out with your chaps. The snacks here are quite mouthful. Prices are overwhelmingly cheap for such good foods as these. 'Puri' is my favourite. The cashier is friendly with a peculiar charisma.
Food served was tasty, but one thing is very much notable is that hotel is not so tidy. But it's very much popular one can notice that by the amount of customer it has all the time. One who likes puri sabji, I recommend to eat there for a once, you may like it. For the location, it's in below ganesguri flyover.
Puri and sabji famous @ ₹20 per plate with 3 Puri and 1 small bowl sabji. Extra sabji bowl extra ₹10. tea costing ₹5 per cup. Sweets available at cheap price. Seating capacity around 60 customers. Well connected from ganeshguri flyover.
I love it.. value for money.. sufficient hygeine, cleanliness.. tasty filling assamese lunch and dinner standard dishes. veg and non veg both.. hugely popular with locals.. my favorite is veg unlimited thali ₹50.. a hidden gem in guwahati
Their samosa is the best! Try it out. And I will recommend you to check out their 'kaacha- gola'. It's just yum, with the perfect amount of sugar in it. (Disclaimer: Their kaacha Gola sells out really fast, so it might be difficult to get at times.)
One of the oldest hotel in Ganeshguri.Hotel is famous for puri sabji, samosa, sweets and tea, etc.Prices are affordable.
Very affordable hotel in ganeshguri...must visit ...food r also tasty
