Food was excellent but this place isn’t tourist friendly. Doesn’t accept international credit or debit cards.
I went the for lunch on a Sunday. The place was not too crowded. The service was quick and the food was delectable. The chicken was well-cooked but the pieces were not that good. They were fatty and hard to cut through. I'll order vegetarian the next time I go there. The service staff speaks only in Hindi, but they understand Assamese.
Items ordered: 1x Malai Chicken, 2x Amritsari Kulcha, 1x Butter Chicken, 2x Sweet Lime Soda, 1x Gulab Jamun
Bill: ₹2285/-
My experience here was amazing!! All thanks to the staff of dhaba estb. Their service is top notch !! Now coming to the food , they have a huge variety of items in the menu , they also have a seperate menu for drinks which is also good!! The quality and quantity of the food is too good and very delicious..If you love North Indian food you must visit this place!!!
Good food, great ambience. Colorful interiors, cosy little place. Chicken starters are good, mutton items can be improved. The cocktails have fancy names and good taste.
Overall good experience. Do visit.
Located at City Center 3rd Floor, Dhaba Estd 1986 serves authentic North Indian cuisine. The service is amazing. The quality, quantity and taste of food is also worth it but it is on the expensive side. Also, has a wide variety of menu. Can visit, if one wants to have good Indian food.
Visited Dhaba Est 1986 for family dinner.
It is a quirky and vibrant restaurant. You will find very interesting spots to click pictures.
They also have funny and attractive menus.
We have tried varities of mocktails and all were delectable. This is what we ordered and you can try:
Rangeela, ganne ka sa ras, virgin masala melon, shikanji and kala khatta.
We have also tried tamatar dhania ka shorba and murgh badami shorba and both were very smooth and creamy.
For starters we went with malai soya chaap and patiala murgh ki tangdi. It was good but a bit dry. Soya chaap could have been more soft.
For the mains we have ordered butter naan, paneer kulcha, rara gosht & amritsari chole.
Both kulcha and the butter naan was soft.
Mutton was delicious, medium spiced mouth watering dish.
Overall it was good and happy food.
We ended our meal with matka kulfi and dhabe da meetha which is a layer of rabdi, vanilla icecream and shahi tukda which was topped with a cute gulab jamun.
Must try.
They have a very well mannered and friendly staff like Kangkan, Dibjyoti and Surojit. The service was very quick and they were very attentive. We also met one of the head chef - Moinul Haque.
Overall it was a great experience and we would love to visit again to taste other delicious dishes on the menu.
Hey guys visit this place if you like to eat desi food. The ambience of the place is very vibrant and they have bollywood actors and dialogs painted on the walls. I have tried Mutton Galoti kebab, Amritsari kuddak, Butter chicken, Butter garlic Naan and Mawa Lassi.
Enjoyed a really good dinner here. They have an extensive food & beverage menu. The mocktails we ordered were amazing in taste, so were the starters. Both the paneer tikka and chicken seekh kebab tasted fresh and each soft bite was flavourful. For the main course, we ordered their chili garlic naan and paneer lababdar. The naan was so so soft and paired perfectly with the curry.
The service also is top notch and you feel really taken care of.
Moreover, currently they have a Buy 1 Get 1 offer on liquor. Enjoy 🍻
Have been meaning to visit them for quite some time, and finally, we were here. Love the funky and playful vibe of the place.
They have an appealing menu and of the lot, we loved the *Kala Sha Kala Kukkad*, quite the name. It is prepared with blackened spices finished in tandoor. The taste is unique and grows on you.
And to compliment the cocktails was not a disappointment either. However, wasn’t impressed with their recommended Indian LIIT.
Overall a good place to relish North Indian cuisine.
Great ambience and good food and drinks. Lassi, garlic naan and tandoori chicken was great. It felt like typical Punjabi dhaba.
This eating joint is located on third floor of city centre Mall. This particular joint started in Jan 2020 and I had food on opening day of this joint. This place had taste of north India. Very close to taste of Punjab or Delhi. The variety is limited but good.
What to eat here? I will suggest go for known North Indian dishes.
For the regular hangout types it is good place to eat. But beware there is already dip in the food quality and they are just month old. Another thing is it’s popular now and you need to wait nowadays.
Ambience- 4
Layout of Joint - 3

Food Quality - 3.5 ( Dip in a month and overpriced)
Over all rating - 3.5( This is due to present food quality and price )
Scrumptious food. . The dal makhani is a must try - amazing flavor. . The balti meat is very delicately balanced with the mutton, obviously, being the highlight. .
The service is impeccable! Mr sanjib ghosh was our server and he is very courteous and professional. Amazing service!
Went to this place on recommendation of a friend. Ordered butter chicken, veg pulao and butter nan. Taste was really good. It's a great place to find authentic Punjabi cuisine. It's an air-condition restaurant with dhaba type ambience.
You can gulp down alcoholic or non alcoholic drinks.
The interiors and the service was top notch. The food was good,i felt lassi was on the expensive side compared to food but nevertheless it was a good one... I'd recommend anyone searching for a good Indian khana
Well this restaurant has been a great value addition for the taste bud lovers of Guwahati. The items be it the starters or the main course each of them tastes very good. The hospitality including the service at this restaurant is of top notch. The must visit place for foodie whenever you visit the City Centre Mall, Guwahati
I was there in a family dinner with my parents and brother. We loved the tandoori chicken with bones and order twice. We loved the lassi , it was very refreshing. For the main course, we ate chicken vindaloo which was spicy and good, paneer lababdar was sweet and okayish , garlic naan were amazing. I would recommend this restaurant for good north indian food and the chef , waiter all are very friendly and welcoming. The chef came outside and asked the review personally .
