Love this 100 year old restaurant 💖💖 just love the food here because they don't use too much spices. The food is simple and amazing. They can add some more items in the menu.
Cheap and tasty foods. Perfect for working people's hunger games. Simple place to have food bt cant go for hanging out.. Foods were cooked with simple spices.
Its unbelieveable to see such an old shop still in business.....i can easily make out that this was probably the only place for friends, family and couplesin the past decades...dad introduced to this shop as this was the place for some refreshment and chill during his cotton days.....and i as well went to give it a try during my cotton days....
Here u get the simplest of food like rice, roti, few variety of sweets....taste wise the foods are very basic....what i would say is that its not a kind of restaurant at todays time....but maintaining the itself for such a long time where it fed my dad and me equally....
Do not expect much but you should try out here once as its different from the other kind of sophisticated restaurants.....1* for the food and 3* for its legacy....
Hit like pease...
This restaurant is almost a legend. Completed its 100 years. Heard about this restaurant name since childhood from my parents. I used to be their regular customer during my HS studying time in 2007-09 as my coaching centre New Edge was just above it. Love their roti and sabji and egg rice. Recently I have again visited after so many years it's still the same serving the home made type of food with pocket friendly price.
Its 100years old yet the food is yumm...on a tired day i was dead hungry n thought y nt try the age old eatery.i ordered 4chicken pulao ..waiting little anxiously thinking what might land up.to my surprise i gt dis plate full of pulao with 2big pieces of chicken n gravy.the pulao itself was simple yet tasty rather u can have it on ur own without anything to add on n so was the chicken.i was such a happy customer..coz i loved the simple yet delicious taste.n it cost me just 60rs!!!! I was surprised.must say nextime in panbazar will sure hve pulao mangsho again...
This is one of guwahati's oldest food points. They serve you lunch and dinner thali's. Both veg and non - veg meals are prepared. Pulao and chicken in mahamaya is the best combination ever tried. The three storey building of the restaurants today was built in 1948.
A century old restaurant keeping up the legacy! Food was good, simple and homely! Very affordable! Felt like I time travelled back to 1918. Must visit!
One of the oldest restaurant of Guwahati. Place is small but nice...You can feel the old vibe there. Price is very less and quality is awesome. I tried egg pulao which cost only 40 but taste is very good.
Really awesome place and food is also good .... Still i suggest them to hire some young people there... Will definitely need one
One of the last vestiges of old-world Guwahati charm. Once an intellectual ‘adda’, the restaurant serves tea and small meals at very reasonable price.
