I am never disappointed by their food quality,the taste, the Aroma.. One of the tastiest Biryani I ever had. Yes, the price is a bit on the higher side but the taste makes me forget about the price. And the bhuna chicken is like icing on the cake. It's too delicious

Maybe owing to christmas day there was lot of rush and it took them sometime to reach to us.

We ordered Chicken Lolipop half plate and Chicken Dum Biriyani. Chicken Lolipop was bang on taste wise. The chicken pieces were a bit tough for the cutlery but the taste was great. At ₹250 half plate, it was a bit pricey but taste wise it was paisa vasool. Then we came the Dum Biriyani. Two pieces chicken with a medium size boiled potato and a full boiled egg. The taste was a tad bit off the spot. At ₹210 it seemed pricey and won't like to try again. The game changer was the music playing in the background. I must say that it simply lifted our mood and paying ₹500 for average service didn't pinch the pocket. P.S: Why in this digital age, the management doesn't accept card is beyond my imagination. All in all it was a fine place with less crowd and 🆒 music to soothe your nerves.

Last time i visited mast and tasted their Shahi Murg Biryani worth Rs 220. The quality and taste of food was amazing compared to the price.
Mast biryani have two outlets in the city one in zoo road and other one in beltola.

We ordered sahi murg, dum mast chicken biriyani and gaust biriyani which was the mutton variety. All three were very tasty. While sahi murg came with a very tasty gravy, dum mast had nicely cooked boneless chicken. Mutton and chicken pieces were adequate. The rice was cooked really well. Loved the experience.

Heard a lot about this place and finally tried their biryani few weeks ago. We ordered "kebab biryani" which was really yummy and spicy as I love. Quality and quantity both are awesome, we two even could not finished one plate. Raita served with biryani was also delicious.

Mast Biryani has been able to become a brand in itself for the amazingly delicious biryanis it serves. Located at Zoo Road, this restaurant serves quite many variants of Biryan which are very flavoursome and filling.
The place is not very spacious and can host about a dozen and a half people at a time. It is however immaculate and doesn't really give you the feeling of cluttered. For Ambience I'd give it a 3.5/5
Now coming to the food, I have been to this place quite a number of times and have tried their Lucknow Dum Biryani(Chicken), Chicken Kebab Biryani, Shahi Murgh Biryani and Kolkata Dum Biryani. The Lucknow Dum Biryani is my favourite out of them and it is so flavourful that it tantalises your taste buds way too much. The Chicken Kebab Biryani is my second favourite out their, but it is a bit on the spicier side. The Shahi Murg Biryani is an unique take on Biryani and I must admit it's a good take on the Biryani. It's the simple Biryani but with a twist and the twist being the Shahi Murg gravy which is topped upon the biryani handi. The Kolkata Biryani is good too and is a must try. I have also tried their Masala Coke, which had plentiful of chat masala and it is quite refreshing on a hot, humid summer day. The raitas they serve with the Biryanis are however average. But the Biryanis here are a must try. The quantity they serve is very adequate and filling. And also the prices are quite reasonable.
For the food I'd rate them a 5/5
The waiters/staff are very welcoming and they do come and they do check if we liked our food and also requests for feedback. Overall they are very courteous and polite. So I'd definitely rate them a 5/5 for service.

A little cozy place it is. I was dying to try its biryanis after hearing so much of its appraisal,, and honestly it filled my belly and my heart with happiness. The biryanis are so so yum and so pocket friendly i ordered nizami korma biryani and kolkata mutton biryani ...its finger licking ,also i ordered allahbadi chicken i guess and it was also too yum. The prices are so pocket friendly ,, the staffs are good,, infact they take minimum time to serve the food,, perfection lies in this place. Do visit guys and for biryani lovers mast biryani' is a perfect place . I dont have any photos but next time i will sure click some✌️
When it comes to biriyani, this place is the best in the city! I love, love the Special Kebab Biriyani. Had it only yesterday along with Chicken65 which seemed very authentic in its taste as well. This had been my first visit to mast biryani.. Went out with family.. Since it was Sunday and lunch hours, had to wait for a table.. The lady behind the counter was very courteous and helped to make menu choices... As other tables were served, the aroma made the wait more miserable.. Smoked chicken wings for starter was juicy and goes well with chutney.. Kolkata dum biryani, chicken was excellent having balanced flavours and generous portion.. Though the chicken bharta looked rich and loaded with oil, it went well with tandoori roti.. Again flavors were there... One thing that missed the mark was lack of greens in the dishes.. A few pieces of raw onion, cucumber, lemon n chilli would have rounded up the whole experience... And one of the waiter seemed not to like my presence there.. Still it is a nice place to hang out..

When we used to get bored of hostel food in Guwahati, Mast Biryani was always there for our rescue ! They provide amazing biriyanis . We tried almost all the varieties !!
According to me , the best among the lot would be Nizami Korma Biriyani 💓 . The biriyani is served with a delicious gravy chicken which will leave you licking the spoon 😋 . I still remember me running around the hostel trying to protect my share of this biriyani from the others 😝

Tried the Nizami kaachi dum biryani and Shahi murgh biryani and loved both the items immensely. Shahi murgh biryani was the best, the rich appearance said that before I took a spoonful. Saffron rice with chicken in rich gravy and cashews. In case you are looking for something authentic then go for Nizami dum biryani with a slight minty flavor adding to the delight.
The ambience might be a bit average but the food is beyond compare with any biryani outlets in the city and totally worth the money.

This place really deserves a 5 star. Its a very small place but the interiors are really well lit and very vibrant. Very spick and span. The yellow and orange colours of the walls really lights up the place.
I have been visiting this place for more than three years now and the taste of their dishes have always been the same. It mainly is famous for biryanis and every biryani here is tasty. I particularly like their kabab biryani and for starters their Andhra pepper chicken. Both these dishes are super spicy and has a prominent taste of curry leaves. Quantity again is really impressive and also the dishes are inclusive of taxes.
Service is very good. They constantly ask you about the taste and takes your feedback seriously. Dishes are bought in really quick after you order and the waiters are very attentive. Highly recommended.
I am the type of person who likes a little sweetness in every food dish and Mast Biryani heard my prayers. The Lucknow chicken biryani is my all time favourite. Whenever I visit home this restaurant is on my speed dial. The prices have gone up a bit and that’s the only disappointment, but the biryani makes me not want to complain.

The tastiest malai kebab i've ever had for rs. 220..the butter chkn biryni was also great. Its for rs. 260.. The place is a bit congested n full of customers almost everytym. But d staff was polite enough n managed our seats in a span of 10 minutes.

Great value for money. We ordered the Exotic Veg Biryani and Paneer Tikka (Gravy). The food is good quantity for two people. The delivery took about 40 mins so order in advance.
Ok so we went to this restraurant with my friends to celebrate my friend's birthday..Since it it is located near to our college, so we went there..we ordered chicken dum biryani, butter chicken biryani and a chicken gravy item...the biryani was tasty and so the chicken ,though I ate only the gravy😅..lil bit expensive but yes it satisfied our taste buds..looking forward to visit again
This place serves a wide varieties of mouthwatering biryani. I had the Lucknowi mutton biryani and Nizami chicken Biryani with Chicken Dabba , I was awestruck by amount of biryani they served for a half plate order ,both the biryanies were very well prepared and it tasted so good that it's taste is still with me. The chicken pieces were tender too.
The only thing that might disturb you is the space...because it's not at all spacious . Prices are affordable and being a teenager it's s great place to throw treats .

I tried biriyani from a lot many stores in Guwahati. But I m in Love with biriyani from MAST BIRIYANI. Talking about the quantity is huge . Quality is fantastic. Service is good as well .. but it's not so spacious. Good place to dine with friends as you get biriyani at affordable price .

People say veg biryani is not a thing and with that concept neither is chicken nor is egg.
Place like this manage to serve some authentic biryani in Guwahati city unlike others who give veg pulav in the name of biryani.
This is a small joint with limited seating and lots of people waiting for their turn to gorge on biryani and kebabs. Too much crowd waiting makes the environment unpleasant.
People are humble and service is good.

Paneer 65: Very few places know that Paneer65 is not a Chinese dish and soy sauce is not part of it's recipe, and this is one such place. 5 big chunks of paneer deep fried and tossed in spicy sauce with tadka of curry leaves. It was not just close to the real one but also tastes delicious. The real one is dry and crispy but this one was soggy being semi gravy. 4/5
Paneer kebab Biryani: biryani rice topped with Paneer65, bit spicy just the way I like. Biryani rice was exceptionally good. Overall it tasted like Chennai style Biryani. 3.5/5

Totally loved it!!!! I have been there twice and loved it both times!!!! I want to try every kind of biriyani there!!! I have tried the mast, kolkata and I loved it both!!! We ordered Shahi murg, Nizami and Dum mast biryani. I must say that the taste was really superb! The price is reasonable and the quantity they serve is also ample.
The staffs are very polite.

Mast Biryani has always been my favourite biryani joint. Though their biryani is not the authentic one, yet i somehow like the fusion of flavours they create. My favourite item on their menu is the kebab biryani and it is also the highest selling one. Their starters are also good enough - i have tried their Tangra Chilli Chicken and Hot Chilli Prawns and both were mind blowing! I frequently order their Masaledar Prawn Biryani too and i have never been disappointed. They are my go-to restaurant for a cheat meal as well as a buddy on my sad days. They have multiple outlets and though all are equally good, I prefer the Zoo Road one since it provides more discounts on larger orders. 🙊 However it has the smallest sitting area for dine-in. The Beltola outlet is more spacious. Service is quicker as well. Must try place overall.

i think mast biryani was trying to take out some personal grudge. the salt was so much as if they got it for free. and the chicken pieces were the leftovers. i wonder if they taste their own food. i did not have the option of giving minus ratings. else i would have given them -100 for it. disastrous food.

Till now they serve the best biryani in town. I have visited 2 times and ordered 5 times from the Zoo road branch. The place is small though. It deserves 5 stars. The Beltola one is not that small and not too big. Both of them serves same recipe biryani. Now Mast Biryani Delivers have launched, i ordered from them too. Same taste but they give more chicken than biryani (lol) but we get discount in Swiggy. When the name is MAST BIRYANI, just go visit or order. Actual price is 230/240 but in Swiggy or Zomato 275/280(total becomes 300/310). Expensive but worth it. I have tried Butter Chicken Biryani (Makhani murgh), Boneless Lazeez Bhuna Biryani, Shahi Murgh, Nizami Korma, Masaledar (tastes like babycorn, I don't like it), Hyderabadi Biryani (Nizami Dum Biryani). Shahi Murgh is my favourite.

I generally have a disliking for Raita, but herein, the Raita added to the flavour, adding a calmness to the burst of spices of the Biryani.

The Chicken Kebab Biryani is a speciality of Mast Biryani which is a must try. Moreover, half a plate's quantity is enough to be shared between two persons. Absolutely love this biryani restaurant. It offers the most delicious biryani. Every kind of biryani of theirs is yummy but my fav are their shahi murg biryani and the chicken kebab biryani. The shahi murg biryani is mouth watering and hella good and the kebab biriyani is a bit spicy but I'm sure spicy lovers will love it.Also their chicken lollypop is yummy as well. Overall biryani lovers must try it once !
