We halted here on our way to Ranikhet. The restaurant is quite old. This place is spacious and it can accommodate 50+ customers at a time. We ordered Masala Dosa, Veg Sandwiches & Filter Coffee. Dosa was crispy & had tasty potato filling. Sandwiches were very basic with cucumber and tomatoes in it.

Authentic South Indian cuisine as well as North Indian cuisine also available . Filter coffee super refreshing,it’s a must. Female Washroom was neat n clean. Small store having few variety of masalas ,cereals n rice also available.

Basically, I’m from Bengaluru, Karnataka. By just seeing the name as Udupi walked in during my yatra in October 2023 with lots of doubt whether the taste would be match or come near about Authentic South Indian Style. However, It defeated the purpose by serving us the much needed proper South India

Decent place for a bite if you are passing through Kathgodam. It may seem price-y for anyone coming from the south but the quantities are huge. Clean bathroom and quick service. Pure veg.
