We always make it a point to stop here for cakes. The upside down pineapple, and the Lamington are fantastic. The date cake is really nice as well. You can place an order one day in advance or get slices to eat, but they usually run out of these cakes very quickly
Friendly, personable service guided by the chatty proprietor himself (Ashish Lahoti), who besides being a fount of knowledge about juices and their molecular dynamics is the soul of this unique establishment. Located just besides the popular Udupiwalla eatery. Do check out Mr Lahoti's state-of-the-art Japanese juicers and blenders.
I bought chocolate and pineapple home made cake and it was delicious. 1/4th piece of the big cake will cost you Rs 140 and 90 for the small one. But it's a good deal, and the chocolate cake you can consume within 10 days. The owner is very friendly and sweet.

The natural flavors of the fruits remain intact in the juices served here. There are absolutely no added colors or preservatives. Mr Ashish has done a good deal of research and planning in the area of making juices. A glass served here is pure nature and art. For a second, you just want to close your eyes and let the taste buds live the feeling. One may experience a difference in taste for the same fruit-juice upon different visits here. Why? Apart from juices, ice-cream, shakes, sweetened betel-leaves (meetha paan), homemade cakes, puddings... ; are things one can try here (depending upon availability, of course).
The place is small but very clean and well-managed. There is a great deal of what goes on โbehind the scenes.โ Mr Ashish is well-supported by his wife in all the magic he performs here. Her culinary skills in cakes can easily humble any Chef!
Overall, shrouded in simplicity and humbleness, this is a great place!
Can't believe I've crossed this shop so many times without stopping. There's nothing like this in the area and please do not be fooled by it's outside appearance. It's a real treasure inside. Their peach and pineapple juice is beyond fabulous. Their sugarcane shikanji is to die for. Their litchi chuski is insanely good and their coconut cake is amaaazing. It's a pity my stomach couldn't take more for a day. But I will most definitely try their entire menu soonly.
This place has the most awesome nan khatai we've ever tasted. We just walked in randomly and bought a box after chatting with the owner. They were so so good.. that we ended up requesting friends to get us another one on the way back ๐
Lucky enough to finally visit the extraordinary place even after living in haldwani for years, the dessert necessity and that too a very delicious one was fulfilled by the mouth watering cakes ( which were only left๐) if the place. Would love to try again and again and recommend people for the same !

Good place for fresh sugarcane juice and home made date cakes. Before taking your train from Kathgodam to and fro, you may make a quick stop.
Amazing home made cakes,homemade ice creams. Amazingly detailed service. Quality topnotch. Very relaxing place to find in Haldwani. Visit once and find yourself visiting a million more times.
Visited this one on my way to Naukuchital and bought pinapple and suji cake... the cakes were so delicious that I made sure I bought more on my way back.. the cakes are made of atta and not maida. The dates cake is sweetened by dates. Healthy and extremely tasty. ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
