This property has a very beautiful setup. There are small conical top huts for 2 ppl, rooms for bigger group and so on. We picked a hut, nice and clean room with a spacious washroom. There is a swing and a small private sitting setup in front of every room. You can enjoy sipping morning and evening
I'm not sure about the other guest houses but this one had a great ambiance to it.
There is this great view of the rice field from the patio of our rooms with pleasant wind all the time.
The food was also good, I would dare to say above average neglecting the price of the same.

I stayed only for one night as there was no availability. I am glad that I stayed for one night as I got to experience its beautiful cottage with an amazing view of lush green rice paddy fields. It also has a nice private wooden hammock where you can take afternoon nap. Night time, its hard to stay
The place is not hard to find, has parking space. There are small huts with beds and attached washroom. Each room can easily accommodate 3 people. I would definitely recommend this place if you are planning to go to Hampi. The place is so peaceful and happy that you would not find any better option for stay if you are looking for a cottage kind of stay.

Absolutely amazing place. The food is great. Do try the Israeli food while you're in Hampi. The Spanish breakfast is also good. Cheap decent rooms. Take the garden view rooms as they are cheaper (600rs a night) and they don't have mosquitos.

like many other 'river view' places to live at, Mowgli is a laid back guest house with basic amenities.. hot water is not basic. rooms are clean enough and beds soft enough. you'll like it if you keep you expectations realistic. they will rent you bikes and make bus ticket bookings for you as well
We wanted to stay there as it has always been highly recommended by many. But couldn't get rooms. However we had lunch at Mowgli and it was fantastic. The food is too good consider the quality and quantity. And the price was half that we would have paid in Bangalore.

Place is good and laid back. For someone like me who doesn't fancy all the fancy amenities and room service, it's pretty ideal. Decent food, staffs are pleasant, very good location with a decent view of the river.
