One of the good options to eat and to stay near the hampi ruins or the Vijay vitthal temple
After more than 30 travelling in India, North and South, the best thali I've eaten. 100% recommended. We were two and chose thali and special thali and both were delicious.

My personal favorite place in hampi. Ideal to chill out when you are tired of traveling. Food is delicious with so many indian and other cuisines. We tried thali (with banana flower curry... so good) and pasta along with coconut milkshake. I loved the atmosphere, scenery and hospitality here.
Calm and quiet environment with relaxing Indian sit out. Special thali having banana flowers sabji is must. One thali is too much for a common person. Variety of items, tasty preparation and reasonable price.

Quite popular among tourists. The food was good. We had thalis for lunch. Schezwan noodles was very tasty, you can try if you want to try Chinese. We also crispy onion for starter, that was also very good. You can sit back and relax because of open space sitting arrangement amongst trees.
One of the good places to have food in Hampi. Its an open air restaurant serving thali and other cuisine. It is a good chillout place enroute Vijaya Vithala Gudi temple. You may plan your lunch (local thali was really good) here.
Nice hotel, if you want to try local food and want that local feeling. Hotel is surrounded by banana tree. It is very eco-friendly they have rabbits, peacock as a pets. Food was great.

The perfect pitstop for a nice simple lunch break while exploring the lost splendor of Hampi. Simple, tasty (mostly local/Indian) food served by simple friendly folks. The restroom is basic, but one can make do.
