The place is owned by a family and cooks home like food. Best vegetarian options are available for lunch & dinner for a reasonable price on Havelock Island. I stayed there and ate only at this restaurant. The food is super tasty and cater to individual needs for spice levels. The place is very near to the main market.

Fresh vegetarian food. We ordered jjeera aalu, veg handi, kadhai paneer and more and all were lip smacking. Only negative thing is that they require at least half an hour to serve on first come first serve but then one can be sure that the food is not leftovers. We ate exclusively at Biswas restaurant for 2-3 days.

We had our dinner here on 10th December 23 and ordered rotis, paratha and Mutter paneer. Best food and service ever I came across in Havelock. If you are staying near Radhakrishna Hotel and a vegetarian, you can blindly go for it.

This is my favourite restaurant whenever I visit Havelock Island. The open atmosphere of this restaurant feels so comfortable for the humid climate of the island. Though they have a limited number of tables, usually not more than 2 tables are occupied. This used to be the only vegetarian option in this area a few years back and I'm visiting this restaurant back from 3 years on my every trip to Andaman. I love their Bhindi fry, Paneer Gravies and the butter phulkas which are my usual orders. They have never disappointed me with the quality. Also they serve lime soda which is very essential for the weather. The price is a bit expensive and at par many resorts around. Yet, I don't mind as the quality is good. Service is quick and friendly. They do accept QR code based payments but cards are not accepted. Overall, I recommend this restaurant for the quality sake. -BeingBakasura

Quaint little restaurant. Food here is really good! Dal Tadka was very very nice. Reasonably priced. If you are looking for a good veg option at Havelock, this is definitely a great choice.

We went in search of a pure vegetarian restaurant on our trip to Havelock. There are 3 pure vegetarian restaurants in Havelock - Shakahaari, Rajasthani and Biswaas. We tried all 3 restaurants and found that Biswaas is the best. We stayed there for 4 days and tasted most of the things here. The kitchen is very neatly maintained. Since there are no much people seeking pure vegetarian food, they cook the food once we order it, hence we got freshly cooked hot food. We only get north Indian food, it has homely taste. Very good food. May be without this restaurant, it would have been very difficult for us to pass 4 days. The food is really really good and freshly prepared. You will have to wait till they cook the food but it is worth the wait. They also delivered food to our stay. I would recommend this restaurant yo anyone seeking pure vegetarian good food in Havelock.
