It is located just opposite to liluah Big Bazaar. It has many options in sweets snacks cakes beverages and chaats. It has a restaurant section too which serves Chinese North Indian and South Indian foods.
It's a good place for fine dining.
The quality of the food is superb specially Chinese dishes😋
Good Food, Good Place, Prices are a bit high and staffs are really very slow in taking orders and serving. Chinese & South Indian both are Recommended. Cheese Dosa and Schezwan Noodles were specifically recommended..

Sweets of gangotri is really tasty compared to many other ...snacks and all is also tasty ... packaging is good evn for gift material ..one must try pav bhaji
This sweet shop is very near to my house.. I go there every day to buy sweets.. They keep very fresh products. And you can get so many variety to choose from. Other than sweets you will also get snacks over here..
The overall hotel experience was good. If you are budget oriented this is the best place with great food quality. The only thing that can get better us the staff.
This is second time visit in the Restaurant south Indian food is really nice and after test of south Gangotri sweets are really mouth watering 👍well done guys keep it up

The best veg restaurant in liluah. Quality and taste of food is very good. We almost visit once in every 2 months. Overall best and good in howrah area.
One of the best Veg Restaurants.... Tried Paneer 65, it's awesome....so far the best preparation I've. Mysore Masala Dosa is also a great new item to be try out. The menu card shown here is not the actual one.

Ambiance: As of a sweet shop. Dont expect trained staff, but they do a decent job in serving.
Sweets and snacks here are fresh, tastes decent. Love the bombay patties here.
Today tried a cutlet which I found extra oily. The bread patties I tried had similar fillings like a cutlet and is very heavy.
Pocket pinch is very low and has scattered chairs for seating downstairs and some proper seating in their restaurant upstairs.
P.S: My review is based upon the snacks and sweets counter and not the restaurant upstairs.

The sweets there are well tasted. It is specialized in North and South Indian dishes mainly and we ordered something which is buttery. Yes you get that right the Pav Bhaji. Being a bong foodie, I can't control my "mouth-watering" when I see sweets 😊. Though we had to wait much here mbut wait was worth. Pav bhaji was awesome with right amount of everything and of course the variety of sweets. Aha! Kaju barfi and this took my heart.

We have gone to this place quite a no. of times.like whenever we used to go liluah side we had to stop here..the place is famous for its chaats and south indian food.being a saviour for ppl living nearby who didn't want to go to Howrah ac area sometimes to have some yummy snacks :)
Though our visits to gangotri have reduced from past some years it still has'nt lost its charm in the area.
I live nearby and have eaten here multiple times including when the restaurant opened in July, 2009. I still have pics from that day. It was brightly lit then and looked lively on few further visits. I have seen it get dull since then but the quality of the food is pretty intact. It was above average even then and still is. I am not sure but i guess they use a lot of colors and preservatives in their food. The flavors are rarely natural. The taste is fine though. This time around i went here with a friend and ordered baby corn manchurian, chili paneer and veg pulao. My stomach was pretty full but i still tasted (ate almost 3/4th of the baby corn) all the items to figure out if the taste had changed over the years. Since the place is near my home and the Gangotri brand is locally renowned and trusted my visits will continue. I just hope they deck up the restaurant a bit more, make it more lively and tell their waiters to be more energetic.
This is a pure veg resto.. It is vry popular place in its local area.. Food is vry good..ambience is not so good.no any decoration..as this is a veg place.so u can hear all the chat noise of marwari aunties and didis.. hehe. worthy to visit. opp. to the big bazaar inox of liluah. One of the best food for veg.

Good place with low budget. I ordered crispy chilly mushroom which wasn't crispy at all. Rest breads were soft and delicious. Malai kofta and paneer pasinda was ordered with breads. Which were as per instructed to them ie less spicy. Further service is bit slow. Only two waiters were working.
Gangotri is a nice enough place for vegeterians. The food served is quite delicious. The only downside - there is a delay in the serving time of the food. Other than that, it's recommended. Go for it if you're ever in Liluah.

I have visited this place many times and almost had all the items available there. It's a 5 min walking distance from my house opposite to inox liluah.
Firstly I would like to tell it's pure veg restaurant so veg lovers can go. Join food also available there without onion.
Place is not well decorated, poor ac and lighting is also not good.
Ambiance is so so, staff were nice and very prompt.
Food quality is good and tasty and my all rating goes only for food. I love cheese garlic tandoori with kadhai paneer here.
Recommended for veggies.

It's an all veg restaurant and very strategically placed as a lot of Marwaris and Gujaratis throng about this place. It was extremely crowded and the management was quite a watch, arranging seats like a make shift place. Service was really fast. Crispy chilly baby corn was good. But there was just too much oil in the dishes. Prices were reasonable.
Nice place. A maru family will love this shit.a lot of varieties for sweets and snacks. Gujab jamun and other Tele bhaja snacks will be good from this... As its near to my flat so giving it a full scale...
Whenever we are hungry and got a short break from our college schedule! This is the only place where we have been always! Our favorite place for veg snacks of less amount! We just love it! :D

Vegetarian dishes served here tastes just too good. No one will miss Non veg over here. This restaurant is situated at the main road opposite Inox liluah. Ambience is very nice and the lighting here makes you feel good.
A veg restaurant with highly recognized among the peoples around this area.. Visited this place many times n almost had all the items available there... Quite good enough but i personally didn't not liked the spl Dosa available there... But if you want to have pure veg food at reasonable price then u can visit just opposite of the Big Bazar,liluah
Pure vegetarian place! Ambience is disturbing, no proper ventilation , poor air conditioning, average food. Quite OK for school students but not recommended for foodies!
This is One of the best veg restaurants I have ever eaten. Very Good service by the staff. Good ambience. Items like kashmiri pulao,paneer manchurian,mushroom butter masala,are mind blowing. The different kind of Dosa items are also delicious.the shop under the restaurant offers various types of sweets also.
