I have always been fascinated by The French Loaf cakes due to the quality of ingredients used - from the cake flour to the cream to the toppings.
Available at an affordable price, these have been my saviour in emergencies like a sudden birthday plan or a kitty party or some other sort of associations and get - togethers.
I would suggest everybody to order the cake of your choice from their catalogue a day before just to receive freshly baked cakes; instead of settling for the ones already in store.

1. Irish Fantasy : loaded with mocha flavour, it is rich and moist with white chocolate swirls. An out-of-this-world decorative cake bearing a European appeal.
2. Irish Cake - loaded with mocha flavour; rich, moist and melt-in-your-mouth. This had a subtle coffee flavour that was not too strong but felt too good.
3. Mango Swirl Cake
4. Black Forest Cake
5. Happy Chocolate Cake
6. Happy Butterscotch Cake
7. Pineapple Cake
8. Chocolate Indulgence Cake
I ordered from The French Loaf which is located at RD Mall Howrah. I ordered Chicken Supreme, Mushroom Onion Puff, Chicken Quiche, Chicken Roll, Fruit Cake Eggless... The most impressive thing about The French Loaf is everything I ordered was very Soft, Fresh nd Tasty, but in Mushroom Onion Puff there's no cheese. They didn't mentioned the weigh of their Fruit Cake,let me tell you it's 300gm. Few items was unavailable from their menu but that's ok. I'm looking forward to taste their other items specially Salads nd Sandwiches...
I ordered through swiggy and there was an ongoing offer. So I got some pretty off on the price.

Baked Blueberry Cheesecake–77rs. Well the taste is good. I loved it. But the price could be a bit lesser.

This place is only around fifteen minutes away from my residence, and, strangely, this was the first time ever that I went there. It's a pleasant atmosphere located not too many feet away from the hustle and bustle of G.T. Road, and the staff member that I met was most gracious. I ordered a Black Forest Cake which I absolutely loved, the chocolate filling absolutely melting in my mouth, and the chicken patty was standard, nothing exceptional, but the man at the counter was gracious enough to wait for me to finish my cake before he handed my patty over to me. It's a nice little place that you can't miss upon entering RD Mall, and after the long overdue visit today, I would certainly recommend it.
Located on d ground floor of RD Mall this store is easy to locate...seems like yummy snacks welcoming u at the mall😀
The puffs are awesome.... Corn puff needs a special mention. D corn was fresh and juicy....
Heard a lot about it.. Bt dis was my frst experience at any of its outlets.. I dint find a good variety of snacks dere bt d desserts were too good! I felt d pastries were a bit overpriced!

French Loaf Liluah, serves the best cakes and muffins, the chocolates are awesome, but I dont like the apple pie much as it taste poor and not so fresh... but it's a good place for snacking after shopping from liluah big bazar...
This cute little shop serves pastries,cakes, and offcourse snacks and beverages as well. :D I visited here yesterday with my sister. We ordered Chicken Puff, Veg Corn Puff, Chocolate Pyramid and Chocolate truffle. We both liked the food. Pastry and snacks both were equally good in taste, soft and yumm. And truffle was just HEAVEN. RD mall is near to my place, next time whenver i'm in howrah i would love to visit here again. :)
Edit: Recently we ordered a strawberry cake, and it was really good. Though am not a strawberry fan, but I quite liked it. 👍

Located on the ground floor of R.D.Mall,this outlet has lots of footfalls of people wanting a quick bite before or after movies. The variety is worth mentioning,so is the taste,so is the price. For a quickbite,the food is very tasty and very pricey.

How to go- Come to Liluah station. Yake a rickshaw and come to the RD mall witin five mints. And The French Loaf will welcome you on the right side.
AMBIENCE- A small open outlet with evey kind of snacks and cakes help you to lead to goal...Ask for offers and Todays special in a low price.
Cake- Better than Mio amore, at least not selling cheap food with a french name! And all kind of cakes are available for birthday to marriage. Check out the catalogue and just order it. Cream is really good but mousse is not that much good as I expected it to be.
Snacks- From sandwich to patty and some different items than any other regular shop will drool you over this outlet. They are fresh and less spicy.
I tried chicken patty, masroom stuffed patty and mango cake. They were really good.
Last of all, the counter's boys. They are very decent and courteous, rare thing now a days.
Must know, there is no sitting arrengment and price is bit high than local shop. You can also pay by card but bill must be more than 100 bucks.
Another best confectionary store after Cakes and Mio Amore ..... the staff here is very cooperative , I liked their Hospitality..... I always hunt for The Pastry of the Day as I can get it at a very Reasonable rate..... Besides the pastry, I even liked the Special Choco Bars they sell...

Located opposite to VIP road, haldiram’s sweet shop. I had ordered butterscotch cake. The cake was fresh and soft. I found the staff courteous and helpful.
Outlet just at the bang opposite of haldirams vip road, beside k.c.das sweet shop. Various pastries, pies, cakes , donut and snacks available here. No hot beverage ( coffee, tea) served here. A cozy seating arrangement is also here for 4 people inside the outlet. Their black forest pastry tests good and have less sweet test. Chiken supreme is a good snack. Tried wallnut brownies and found it okaish. Birthday cakes also available here. A nice bakery to try if you want some quick bite on the go.
Loved the way the staff greeted me with a smile when I entered the store. A small thing but shows a lot about their commitment towards their customers. Thank you will visit again soon.
They are probably one of the best Confectionery in town. This place isn't like a cafe or a coffee shop. This is more like mio amore or Kathleen. We go there frequently to have a quick bite. The pastries are very tasty. The staff are very polite and professional.
The pastry is good but the celebration cake does not taste good in my opinion don't know if it was because it was father's day so they made it in rush or if it always bad.
Very well trained staffs. Courteous. Price is on the higher side as per quality and quantity demands. Accepts cash and cards. Recommended Visit for different varieties of pastries, quiche, pies, etc.
