La shivaaz, this place is absolutely lit.
Me and my friends came up to this place last night just to relax and enjoy and we have been coming here from quiet sometimes.
And what has been awesome about this place is its hookah and food combo, staffs here try to bring out the best and actually me and my friends share some great time here so we tend to visit this place quiet alot.
So last night we were upset as our favourite pasta was out of menu for the day, as the chef was not available. But we tried the veg biryani and veg and chicken hakka noodles and hookah toh tha hiπ
Suggestion: Do get the hookah combo. Where u get hookah along with that a dish, say we had veg hakka noodles but we always have veg white sauce pasta.
Nice place to spend quality time with friends and enjoy your evening.
Excellent service and good hospitality by the staff. Will come again when we will at Howrah. Good food for those who wants to stay at night.
I haven't visited the restaurant. I have ordered twice and both time found the food really tasty and in good portion. The chelo kabab is really yummy. The French toast with cheese is delicious. Quality is also great. Highly recommended

Have been travelling all around Kolkata but rarely i get a chance to visit a place in Howrah. And this was the day when i got a chance to visit this nice place just near to Gulmohar Quarters inside the basement of Hotel Shivam at Howrah.
As mentioned above this particular place is in the basement of the Hotel and its even a part of the Hotel but open for Public even from outside. Its a Lounge cum bar that has a cozy sitting with glittering dim lights. There a long sofa sitting and a giant screen in front. From the entrance you find the bar at your right. Liked the Sound System as well.
Been here for a party and very surprised to see that even with a crowd of over 50 at once the Management was doing excellent job to maintain the flow of food and drinks. Kudos to the staff for being nice and cooperative.
The menu was not a huge one but a Complete veg as the Navaratri is around. So in the menu we had:

All the dishes were made exceptionally well. Paneer Butter Masala was the pick of the food. The dinner was pretty enjoyable with loud music and yummy food.
I went in the noon time. Though the place was quite empty but the music system made me stay there for a while. The lighting was pretty gud but the staffs were not cooperative.
Best place to hangout wid frndzz...very pocket friendly place....all d waiters dere have a friendly behaviour...i ll suggest evryone out dere...go visit dis place for booze timeππ
A nice place to chill with friends. Courteous and respectful staff with top notch service. Good selection of liquor and shisha.Food is of exceptional quality, fish makhmali kebab and chicken Kali mirch are to die for.Cheers keep up the good effort.

The ambience is groovy with dim light and good interiors.
Add on factor about this place is it's staff very cooperative if they get you or else you keep trying to make them understand!!!

The price on the the menu is very pocket friendly...
They have a very loud music/ live sports channel running on a big screen !!!
It's a good place to hangout at Howrah, if don't like to travel far!!!

One of the finest in Howrah. The food here is delicious and ample in quantity according to the price. Located beside Howrah station near Golmohar maidan, below Hotel Shivam, it is not tough to locate this restaurant.
We ordered Fried rice, cheese paneer tikka, some veggies and naan. They were perfect. I've become a fan of cheese paneer tikka.

Good place for casual dinner and hangout time with your friends ..we were a group of nine spent a good time here and had dinner which was above average and for a hookah bar its a plus point well I just want to suggest to management that put some more options for vegetarian people in your menu and if possible increse the lights it's very dark there .

The place has great lighting and ambience. Music is extraordinary. Drinks are at very affordable rates. Flooding is also moderately priced, and so is hookah. Hookah is not so good out here, you need to bug the staff again and again. Not bad for a one time visit.
Must try moctails..never had such a great moctails..specially woth that icecream base.fod is average..ambience is nice..well the speakers are best but they dont turn it on usually
La Shivaaz is a hookah parlour in hotel shivam. They also serves varieties of alcoholic drinks, snacks and main course.the staffs are excellent taking good care of customers.hookah,chilly chicken and crispy chilly baby corn are awesome. dance floor is also their with good music.ambience is also good.it is good bar cum restaurant. the main crowd in restaurant are people who stays in the hotel only.

4. Way too awesome French Fries and Wedges
5. Attractive Combos

CONS
1. Pathetic Sandwich which comes with the combo don't opt for the combo with the sandwich ever
2. Once we broke a glass and we were charged RS 200 bucks for that (obviously we knew they'll charge something but 200 bucks was way too much)
3. On all the days except Sundays the music is way too soft.
Cheap and homely with decent food. I went there twice during the puja, the food was pretty delicious. It takes quite a while to get served even when the place is empty but the staffs are friendly. Hookah is very cheap at almost half the price of other places. The dance floor is very small and always stays empty. The music was just about right volume for my taste, not too loud, keeping in mind that the place is pretty small. And this is one of those few places which prefer hollywood songs over bollywood numbers. Well to be honest it's a bit difficult to find, since th entrance isn't exactly built in a lavish way but it was nice overall!
After reviewing lots of restaurant from heart of kolkata today I am moving to a restaurant which is located in Howrah. Location is very good as well as food is delicious. Stuff behaviour is too good. Time taken is too short. Price is moderated. We can say cheap compare to Kolkata. I enjoy today very much. I also recommend to others who loves food and beverage.
I stay in howrah a.c and just to chill out with my friends we had gone their and to my surprise I found the interiors quite well done and the hookah was also good..Thn once a close friend of mine had thrown a party .and that day I really thought the place is quite decent and food quality too was quite on par with many good hookah bars of Kolkata.
It was my first visit to La Shivaaz...I got to now by zomato...
on reaching there were greeted warmly and accompanied to our reserved table...
there service was quick promt ,and the staff were really helpful to suggest us the wright product ,
And the same time the food is really very good specially,Chicken Changwaa,Chilly Prawns,
its goes good with drinks ,and there is nothing more to add for this place please

This is one of the best place to visit in this area.
- The food was very tasty. We ordered babycorn chilli, hakka noodles and paneer cheese tikka. All were very very tasty. Must try paneer cheese tikka, it was too good.
- The staff was friendly.

The price was a little high, but it's okay. Paneer cheese tikka got it covered :D

Nice Ambience of the place.. food is also good.. They serve Hukka and Drinks too.. but Can go with family staff's Behaviour is nice.
It was a nice restraunt. It is also a bar. Fooding was good and healthy and was rich in quality . My first preference here is Crispy Chicken. It is not only a family friendly place but also a friend zoned place. You can spend a quality time here. The bar and restraunt are seperated.
