So where do i start from? From the Thrilling experience or the Beautiful message or the Great food.
I'll just reflect on the way it just happened.
A friend of mine wanted to try it out for quite some time now and we decided to give it a shot when i visited Hyderabad.
So we began by booking a veg and a non veg meal at the restaurant still not knowing what it had to offer us apart from the food, although we thought we'd be blind folded and would be asked to identify the dish just by tasting it, bleh it's just mediocre!
Blimey! It was pitch dark, so dark that one wouldn't know if their eyes are actually open or not, right from the moment we stepped onto the actual dining area, ofcourse we were guided by the incredibly supportive staff!
Food was served in that Night King kinda darkness ;) that consisted of a starter ( non veg- Chicken kebab, veg- paneer manchurian) roti, chicken/ veg curry, daal, veggie salad, chicken/ veg dum Biryani in 5 different compartments on the same plate and a dessert to end with. It was an above the decent meal. One of the best part of this experience is that, one could get really messy and enjoy the meal to the fullest ( TBH, all of us wanna do it the messier way )
For me that was a thrilling experience to dine in the absolute darkness but my friend was really anxious throughout and we heard people from other table say and i quote " i wouldn't want to go back to the real world", now you know how serious i was about the darkness.
So what's the catch?
Well, i would just love to detail every minute things here but then i don't wanna be the spoiler!
Dialogue in the Dark, bravo!!
Fixed Menu @ Dialogue in the Dark, Hitech City, Hyderabad
Taste - 4, Quantity - 4, Quality - 4, Hygiene - 4, Service - 4, Ambiance - 5, Price - Expensive
Verdict - Must Eat This
This is one hell of a lifetime experience. If you can, you must go. The food is not the highlight here but the concept is. The restaurant is pitch dark and you cannot see anything in the restaurant (yeah! not even your food). You are guided by a guide and made seated. Now and onwards you can just 'feel' everything rather than 'seeing'. You get to read a page out the book of life of visually impaired people.
The food is a simple fixed menu including kebabs, roti, curries, biryani & dessert. You are detailed about every item in the menu so that 'all' your senses can enjoy the food except the sight.
P.S. - The surprise behind how the staff can guide you in the pitch dark where you can't even see may blow your mind!

It was really a different kind of experience. Dining in pitch-black ambience is a totally different concept. Serving staff is also so polite. Food was also good. Food is served in five compartment plate.6 course meal is served. We opted for veg meal option. Five compartment plate had biryani,2 tawa rotis, rasam, raita, dum aloo, paneer tikka and salad. Shahi tukda was served as dessert.Believe me I got to know the items after tasting them in the dark as its always a surprise menu. Only suggestion is that they can improve the number of items in the buffet as compared to the price, its on bit higher side. But overall a nice experience and a must visit place. You will experience how visually challenged persons manage each and every daily life tasks..
10/10. Wonderful place. It is simply delightful. You will feel so very amazing after this unique experience. It is a must visit place. The staff is just too good and the food is great too. Request you to please go visit once and you will realise! :)
Beautiful experience . One should visit this place not for the food but for the experience of how a visually chanllenged person does his day to day tasks and makes maximum use of other senses . The food is average . Staff are visually challenged but exceptionally precise in service .
We should definitely go for the experience. Food wise it's okayish but must visit place at least once :)I can't really say anything more than this.
Have been to Dialog in the dark with one of my friend. 600 per head. Food was ok ok. But the experience was 👌. It was pitch dark inside and yu can't see anything. Coming to the food, yu'll be given a plate which has six partitions n they contain Tandoori Chicken, Fries, Naan, Butter Chicken, Curd, Pulao and dessert was a sweet. I would recommend this restaurant for that experience.
Visit the place for experience. Menu is fixed and taste is ok.
You realize the importance of visual sense, when we don't see the food we eat.
They have option to go for activities+food too. Have to try that. Appreciate the concept and appreciate the thought by owners for providing employment to differently abled.
Choice of music could have been better, making it suitable for the experience (dance/party numbers could be avoided)
Obviously no photographs are allowed here. When you enter the place the pitch black atmosphere makes you really scared! Not knowing where you are heading is really scary. The tables are sharing. Menu had just 1 starter with salad, main course and dessert. Food was just ok, but the experience is the thing one would go for! Visit this place for a once in a lifetime experience
One heck of an experience....!!! Apologies for not adding pictures as I cannot .... you will understand what I mean to say only after you visit the place. The dine in option is truly an experience of lifetime and to the surprise the restaurant was manned by visually impaired! They are really friendly and very patient as well. The food quality was good and the menu is always a surprise!
I shall not be speaking much as it will give away too much. Rated 4/ 5 as I found the price a bit on the higher scale. But still .... a must visit (at least for an experience)
Had a great experience
A must visit place
The food is really awesome
That dark experience ❤️ adventure
And best part is people who work and serve are blind
And they guide us where to step and what is been surved
This place has blown my mind. Although food is ok types( that's not the point anyways) but this place everyone should experience at least once in a lifetime. We went inside into the pitch dark and the people who helped us are the ones who couldn't see. It's horrifying not being able to see anything even if for just for few min in your life. The whole idea of this restaurant is to give you the experience and it was good. I really appreciate the efforts of the people who made this experience possible.
M falling short of words to express my feeling for the experience I had here.. Good food and awesome service by staff.. Please visit the place and have an ultimate expierence...
Wow.. Just wow.. The food was good but here you ll not go for food you ll go for the experience and trust me that's amazing.. Great staff specially the person who was serving.. He made this experience pretty awesome thanks Ajay.. Do visit this place to understand there (blinds)part of world.. Here they ll guide you.. Must say I had one of the memorable experience here..🙂🙂
OMG!! OMG!! What a place... What an experience... Never thought I can enjoy food when der is no visual appeal... It has been years since I hav been thinking that I shud visit this place.. N finally it happened...
Since it is pitch dark... I cannot tell about the ambience as there is no need of one.. But wat i was very very comfortable... Initially there were nerves bcos of the sudden transition to a new world... But later I got adjusted to it..
Service is done by the visually impaired.. Trust me my respect towards them soared to an xtra high after experiencing their life... Hats off to them.. Mr. Ajay was a delight.. So much care he showed and the way he handled his guests wid so much precision... I am still wondering how he was able to do it...
The food was xtra tasty mayb bcos my other sense organs wrked much better in the darkness.. I dont wish to reveal wat i ate as it shud definitely b experienced... I ordered a non veg meal and all the dishes wer boneless... So much is de detailing they hav done..
Food - 5
Service - 5
Value for money - 5
Overall - 5
Bottomline : dialogue in the dark is dope
Going to this place is something you should experience at least once.
It will fell really different than your normal dining experience.
Numbing your vision to enhance your other senses is a mind-blowing idea.
Simply go for it... Must visit place if u r looking for different experience... Staff inside are simple amazing... Hatsoff to u guys... Food is also decent.... U will be made to eat in complete darkness...
Never before experience it is and I can't say what's in there I suggest it's better ppl go in there and experience it for themselves and have a shout-out for the staff over there
Amazing staff and delicious food. All in all one of the best experiences of lifetime. Loved the concept. A must visit place in Hyderabad....
An awesome experience to be here. The food was also great. It is not for the food but what you feel out there away from the loud music and embracing the surroundings which you cannot see. You will surely have some people spoiling the silence but that is how the specially abled feel. The servers are more than polite and it is really interesting to listen to their stories and finally see them while you come out.
Adventure place. Experienced complete darkness.
Played in the dark and eat in the drink.
Nice place to get refreshed from the city life.
Simply awesome.
Completely unconventional and one of my best experience. The whole darkness idea is just speeches, you enjoy, have fun, learn as well as feel the life of a visually impaired person. It is then you realise their skills and challenges that they face each day. Highly recommended and must visit.
It's one hell of an experience. I think each and every person should have this kind of experience atleast once in the life time.
Food: 🌟🌟🌟🌟
The food was good. Each and every item was delicious especially the dessert.
Experience: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I will not be able to talk about the ambience of the restaurant as it was Literally I mean LITERALLY dark. Forget the person sitting next to you, You will not be able to see your own hand inside the restaurant. It's a perfect place to take your friends to this place who are scared of darkness.
Table booking is recommended.
Service and the staff: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
The service members here are very trained. You will be surprised to know that all the people who serve here are Visually impaired and know the way in and out perfectly.
Thank you.

It's a great experience. For the 1st time we can really experience show a blind person deals with his life on a daily bases. I personally had a nice time here and I'm looking forward to go the more often. Coming to the food it does not disappoint you after the whole journey I'm sure you'll be satisfied with the service.
On word review-- where your remaining 4 senses start to work..
Most of you would already knowing the concept. It pitch dark inside.
Touch , Smell , Hearing you will start noticing or feeling their true power.
Menu and quantity is fixed. I took veg option and it was good.
Taste was ok ok but experience makes it impressive
Delicious food, a unique experience, impecable service and the only restaurant which engages you with so many interesting tasks while you are on your journey inside....all in pitch darkness.. Loved every bit of it. The best dining experience where you truly connect with the people you come with as it does not have any distractions. It is a one of a kind experience in the whole of India. Strongly recommend this to every individual!!
Great place, quite unique and food quality is daaaamn good. Workers are friendly, you can have a little talk with them also and they are very much Happy to talk to you.. Quite an experience.
#FeelYourFood
Dialogue in the dark is a unique experience. You are taken through a set of activities and experiences where you must use all other senses except sight. Definitely something you should try. They also have dining experiences which I am sure you guys will love it.. but it's quite expensive..You will experience the complete darkness which you have never experienced before..
You guys can try lunch or dinner also over there which will be a memorable and unforgettable experience for sure..
I am not going to spoil the fun by revealing everything about the place.
But yes, what I loved about it, is it's idea of the restaurant. And NO ambience.. yes- it is Daaaarkkk.. dark as it can be. Except for the very tiny light of the CCTV camera.
You can choose what you want to eat while entering itself. Someone will first guide you for few steps so that you get acquainted with the darkness. And once you are seated, they will tell you something - Make you feel comfortable in the atmosphere. And believe me, you will feel that your other senses- your smelling, hearing, touch, everything will be adjusted to compensate the lack of vision.
Food was okay. But experience is worth it.. n take a guess, how the people/staff are soo comfortable with the darkness. 😊
The concept was totally new. The games they played with us kept entertaining us whole time 5 stars for the service. But we encountered just a weird situation being from north we asked to get more rotis and said we will pay extra charges but we couldn’t get as their menu was highly rigid
Food quality is good. Service is amazing. Have got no words for ambience. Visit this place at least once to understand what gift you possess.
Great experience. Food is alright. Its a nice thought that goes well with the food. Just wish people were more quieter in there though.
Portion sizes were adequate and the people
Who serviced were fabulous!
One of the kind culinary experiences. We have 5 senses, we will be cut off from the sight for the next 1 hour . You are given a stick and a tour, experience of rest of 4 senses . Then we enter the restaurent . We are served a fixed menu , being a bit careful making sure we aren't touching the hot stuff . The staff are very courtious . 10/10 would visit again

What can I say! A definite must try...
Your senses will be heightened and you’ll get more than just a dining experience.
Shankar our waiter was quirky, genuine and had such a great sense of hospitality.
The food was well tasty, they only offered an Indian menu despite saying otherwise on their website. We didn’t make a reservation but soon after we arrived around 1930 it became very busy.
I can’t give away too much more.... other than you must try it!
This place had been on the checklist for quite some time and glad we marked it checked.
A one of it's kind experience to have your meal in complete darkness. The serving staff people are all blind and yet they serve your food with so dexterity that it leaves you wondering. They guide you right from entering the restaurant, to going to your table, to having your meal and way back out of the restaurant.
The aura is vantablack and yet maintained joyous by the very polite spoken staff. You rely on your other senses to have your food and have a dialogue with your friends.
One of our friends couldn't make it, otherwise our experience would have been doubly cherished.
Come here for the experience and you would enjoy the food as well. Kudos to the staff.
It’s over 5 years I have been planning to visit Dialogue in the Dark. Finally I could make it today as I was around the mall during lunch break.
In fact this is one restaurant I wouldn’t want to review on Zomato. Unlike reviewing any other restaurants, this one is like reviewing a movie. If you wanted to go to a new movie, you would ask your friends or someone who has already watched about it. You would be interested in their opinion.
“Did you like it?” Or “How was it” would be the questions. You would never ask “tell me the story”. If they did, the whole movie experience would be different. You would already know the plot and what’s the point in watching in a theatre? You would rather watch it online later if you really feel like.
So if you are the kind who values the overall experience than just that poha or dosa or biryani or tandoor, you shouldn’t be reading any reviews about the restaurant. They spoil it for you. My suggestion is visit once and experience it yourself. In my opinion, if you are a foodie and love new experiences, go for it. Preferably for the whole experience including the activity.
So I wouldn’t be writing anything in detail and instead will summarize this way.
The restaurant did trigger some interesting conversations between my friend and I. From farming to the five senses. And how even sense of balance, consciousness and intuition are important. In fact our dialogues in the dark were interesting.
They have done a fantastic job hiring the people and keeping it authentic. Thankfully unlike the reviews I accidentally read, the food today was really good. They neither served a lavish buffet nor a full three course meal, but whatever was served was fresh, tasty, filled our tummies and complemented our experience.
In fact loved the overall theme and the effort to run something unique as this. I wish they were in Bangalore. This was in my bucket list and I write this review with a smile.

The best place in town. One of the must visit in Hyderabad. You can either go for a restaurant else a tour. You will use all the senses except eyes 👀
It will be super excited if you are visiting for the first. I visited it for 4 times and I still love to visit it ❤️ I recommend people to go on a tour if you are visiting it for first time ..
if you are going for a restaurant you can’t order whatever you want but you will still get the food which you like and you should keep guessing.
Tour - 5/5
Restaurant- 4/5
Staff - 5/5 ❤️
Overall Experience - 4/5 ( just for the concept & service )
Food Taste - 2/5
Visited this place with a special person on Saturday evening. It was a great experience in dark.
Had fun while having food. Service was good .
Food taste was very bad. Just visited to had a different experience here so satisfied.
We came out and had our original delicious biryani @beerhouse 😅.
Go for it with a girl / special perosn only. - One time visit is morethan enough ✋
Always wanted to go there and must say very unique experience. We opted for both lunch and exhibition . They carried us to dining area and I was feeling little claustrophobic for few minutes but got accustomed to to complete darkness afterwards . Food was okay okay but the experience was the best . And I must say don't go for lunch only, go for exhibition too . In that tour only all your other senses are awaken.
A wonderful experience, must visit once, one of its kind in india, a Franchise of Germany.. The one place where differently abled lead the so called normal guys.. Extremely awakening to know how it feels.. Literally.. Its absolute dark inside. U r advised not to carry anything inside, not ur phn, watch, spectacles, nothing.. U go inside, blind waiters lead you from entrance to the table.. the menu is a surprise.. U have to use your all other senses to enjoy the food..wonderful experience.. The food was average but the experience was unforgettable..
And yes, u will be made to share table with others if the group is small.. we were just three.. Limited food, they will serve just once, no choices, no repeats. Thankfully we had all veg ppl on table.
This is a theme oriented place where we can have a great experience by imaging if we were blind...we have to use all other senses... Great support and guidance from the staff..Thanks alot Ramu Garu...Njyd alot...😂😁
The food was not so amazing! The taste could be better and more items could be added! 599 was not at all worth for the food, but to that experience and to the guides and staff it was worth it.
I sincerely thank the guide Raj and I wanted to say thank you to him😊 he has done a great job👏

Great experience and Great food!
Went here with my boyfriend and it was really a nice experience, plus it actually made us feel grateful in the end that we were like, put in some people's shoes. Experiencing how it is not being able to see a single thing. It made us feel grateful for what we have.
Thank you!
Amazing place. We had been there for lunch. However, there are activities other than just dining. We were astonished by the way they have maintained the visibility inside. PITCH DARK.You can't see where you are walking, sitting even which direction you are looking. We were waited by a guy named Shankar. Such politeness. Coming to the food, they serve a surprise menu. Veg and non-veg option you have. We ordered for veg dish. A proper meal with roti, curry, biryani and salad was served. Decent taste. A must visit for people who want to try anything new. A memorable experience for us of how the visually impaired experience every second of their life!
When you let your eyes take a rest, you realise how powerful your other senses are. Excellent experience topped with good "surprise" food. Take the whole package if you have the time.
An experience worth a thousand experiences! We went to this place yesterday and what was awaiting for us inside was the most amazing thing, the idea of using all our senses except eyes! And the best part is that we were still able to play cricket(yes you read it correct), eat our food and managed to even use a computer.
Its a very nice initiative taken for helping differently-abled(blind) people to earn wages.
And over that:
Food: is greatAmbiance: is perfect to spend time with your beloved one
And after an hour of spending time there you will realize how fortunate you are to have eyes.
Tip: Perfect place for a blind date to actually have a blind date.. :p
Dialogue in the dark - its a theme restaurant. We had a unique dining experience here. There is absolute darkness inside. Vision is of no use inside. We had to maximize all other senses. We came out with learning that visually challenged people can (and they do) accomplish wonders just by using other senses at its max.
➡ Food - Well, it is not a place meant for having a fine dining experience. So, there is no variety in food. Only 2 choices - veg or non-veg. All food items were indian. Don't go by zomato's pics. Italian or other type of delicacies they are not serving anymore. Items were not disclosed to us. We were supposed to guess the items by using our senses. We guessed that we were served chicken biriyani, chicken curry, roti, raita, salan, salad and some pudding. All items were tasty, but very much over priced. I guess they were charging for overall experience rather than for only food.
➡ Ambience - Well, it was complete pitch dark inside. We could not see anything. Intention was to maximize all other senses of ours. And they did it pretty fantastically.
➡ Service - The servers were serving us with such ease that we thought that they are wearing some sort of night vision glasses. Later our server Mr. Vijay disclosed quite dramatically that all servers are indeed visually impaired. He also told that we should not feel pity for visually impaired persons as they also can maximize other senses and can achieve a great feat just the way we managed to have a meal in pitch dark. We were all awe struck. Kudos to all the servers.
➡Note to management - Same repetitive songs were being played in loop. Please add some more songs in loop.
➡ Conclusion - Don't expect to have some great food here. But you can definitely visit this to have a great and memorable experience. Food is definitely super costly compared to items which were served.
There's only one aspect about this place which took the experience to a completely different level. Spoilers alert-I'd reveal it towards the end.
It' pitch DARK inside - So dark that if you close your eyes and open them ,you wont find any difference. Try it. It was fun.
As we toddled through the passage, unsure of every move we made, we were confidently escorted to our tables by Vijay. While we were still struggling to adjust to this new world of 4 senses, vijay placed food in front of us with ease. He was moving around in the dark like a pro serving all of us, getting us whatever we were asking for- spoons, water, tissues- the right item to the right folk. And believe me , there was not a single nudge or slip from his end. And we on the other hand were struggling to figure out how to put the morsel of food from the plate to our mouth. And our only ray of hope in that sheer darkness was Vijay.
"How are you able to see vijay" We asked. " Ill tell u in the end" came the reply. " "Maybe night vision glasses..or something like they had in mr. India" - we guessed( techie, nonsense and filmy as always.).
In addition to dine in, we also opted for their Maze exp where we were asked to identify items and sculptures with our touch, identify spices through smell, type our names on keyboard and so on.
You must have noticed i hardly mentioned anything abouth the food. Thats because its neither worth mention nor worth the price.
I was honestly not quite impressed yet, until Vijay made this shocking revelation to us in the end- "He along with the entire staff who were our only hope and support in that dark room were all BLIND".....Shocked?????? Bamboozled??? Flabbergasted??? So was I!!!
Worth one time visit guys. It's an affair with darkness you would remember for quite some time.
Such beautiful place to experience food and peace. Best part about this restaurant is “ Providing employment to the blind people” and there’s so much learning from them. Instead showing sympathy on them- show some empathy!
Visit the place for the experience. One will realise how blessed they are to the world in all colors. It's pitch dark, you dont see a single ray or dot of light from any corner, which makes it interesting. The food is good, and the service and staff are the best.
This place is lit.
Such a great experience, can't see anything or anyone.
That feeling of blindness for those few hours was terrifying.
A must place to visit not for food but for an amazing experience once in a lifetime.

Lovely experience for a lifetime......you eat here in darkness which is redefined......you realise how all your other senses work when your eyes hv to go blind.....you enjoy the taste of food for just its taste n texture n not its look. It was an eye opening experience ooops Closed eye but other senses opening experience. Our host for the night was a person called Vijay a graduate from Aurangabad living in hyderabad who was differently abled as he called himself. He was absolutely fantastic in leading us to our table in pitch darkness ( you cant even see your own hand or anything whatsoever) telling us where our platez n cutlery were n he remembered all our names so well right from the beginning .......Food tasted good simple yet tasty.......
Amazing experience and awesome food, one should definitely experience this concept and also support for the cause, Raj - you are simply super, thank you
It’s all about the experience. I don’t think one should stress so much about the service and food....as long as they do a decent job. A concept that inspires people from all walks of life!

Good for experience but if your looking for delicious food then you should not visit this place . But when coming to experience , it was really great as it was pitch dark inside and every thing you just have to feel .. the staff were very polite and friendly .. loved the concept
A place on my wish list and finally did visit to celebrate my birthday. More than the dining, this place offers an absolutely worthy unique experience. When it comes to menu, we are just asked to chose veg or non veg. Once the payment is done, we are escorted to the dining area by one of their staff. Then comes the real fun, searching for food on the plate and trying to recognize what we eat. To be Frank, food was quite average. We were given starters of aloo, paneer and gobhi. Then a main course of roti and fried rice. Finally a panacota dessert. Nothing really impressive. Still the experience overshadowed all of these. The courteous staff, who served us made this experience even more great. So full marks for the service. But a little disappointing on value for money. Apart from dining, they also offer some games. But couldn't explore it due to time constraint. Would love to go back to try those too. Overall, one of the best experiences I've ever had. A must try!!!
Awesome experience will recommend to visit the adventure park. Food was normal meal but u will have an experience of having it in dark. Adventure park one should visit u will get to know the differently able person world.
The concept is excellent.
Initially we were reluctant to enter as it's too dark once we settled everything was just awesome. we experienced a different world altogether.
It makes us to realize how other sensory organs are getting stimulated if one of the sensory organ is shut for a while.
Must go and experience a new world
Fantastic place. I visited in 2017 Jan and the experience was mesmerising. Felt lively and amused for being lucky enough not to miss on nature's gifts.
Been here as a surprise to my best friend she loved it. for that matter it was also a best time for me...
Every one has to experience the feeling being blind..
I have been to this place a while ago with my fiancé and I took the complete package which includes a tour in dark experiencing different things to use your senses other than eyes.. That experience was really good.. We also had food in dark.. There's a fixed menu and you will eat everything in pitch dark..The food quality is moderate.. You can go there to take the experience which is worth..
Everything, from experience to taste of the food, was amazing! It’s an attempt at ‘seeing’ the world through the eyes of visually impaired.
Your experience starts from a guide helping you to take you to your seats. Mind you, it’s pitch dark over there. You just can’t see a single ray of light there.
You’ll be served with 3-course meal. We opted for non-vegetarian meal and thus we got Chicken Biryani, a starter piece of Chicken, a Naan and a Chicken curry with raita.
They also offer you a dessert after you finish up. We were offered chocolate ice cream.
Taste- 5/5
The biryani was one of the beat I had. The starter chicken was out of the world amazing. Chicken curry was just ok though.
Service- a million/5.
Inspiring to see how our attendee Srinivas can do everything so perfectly being visually impaired.
So why this review is 4/5?
It’s because the quantity is really less.
In the end, the words he spoke would echo for long-
‘We don’t need sympathy, we just want your empathy.’
You’ll fall in love with the concept
The food is tasty.
Any information about this place would be a spoiler. You should definitely give this a visit
Go here for the food come back with an experience for a lifetime. They mean it when they say 100% pitch darkness. Yes you'll feel your food.. There are two options, exhibition and dining. I tried dining as the exhibition was closed and exhibition sounded fun too! Amazing concept and kudos to the service. Yesss you're served by visually impaired people and they're your guide the whole time you're in there. You don't just satiate your hunger.. you learn empathy.
A unique experience, a novel concept. Fine Dine with all your senses except vision. It's amazing, and the food was pretty much good.
One must visit this place at least once!
Beautiful experience. One of those few that make you feel alive. Go for the experience and lunch combined tour. Room for improvement in taste and variety in the vegetarian combo.
It's one of a kind experience and it will remain special and memorable for lifetime.must try even if u r a couple or with family or if u wana go out on a 3rd or 4th date. I don't wana give in the details as it's better to explore by self ..we end up thanking God for all the senses blessed to us..loved it totally
Must visit for a whole new experience how world feel to blind. They have some fun activities to experience. You have to eat food in dark by feeling it. More than food this is about experience.
The concept of tge restaurant is brilliant. It gives you an opportunity to feel what blind people goes through in life and how they use their other senses to live beautifully. Food is amazing.
They let you play cricket, ask you to identify different spices, shapes and all.All in dark.
Overall amazing experience!
First of all, the concept was interesting and eye-catching.
Been to this place for lunch and fun trip.
The place is dark but we are guided properly upto dining area.
Food is a 3-course meal, tastes good , but limited.
Service is bit slow.
Fun trip is around 30 mins. Activities like cricket, identifying architectures , smelling masalas...
Overall worth a visit.
I loved the experience. it was amazing. I think everyone needs to try this at least once.
and the tour really... just made me feel so good to experience. everyone, everyone need this.

This is a must visit restaurant. Not just because of the food but for the experience. You won’t be disappointed 😊
The people here are very very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our time and the unforgettable experience.
This place is a must visit. Its a whole new experience of having food. I loved every bit of it right from the time the guide takes u in till the time he drops u out of the restaurant.
The food was good as well. The most amazing part is that the waiters are also differently abled (blind) but yet u see the perfection everywhere. The dinner was an absolute experience. Kudos!
Welcome to the world of no light and no judgement on the basis of what you see but rather the judgement on the basis of flavor, feel and senses. I visited this place on my birthday and yes, it was worth every penny I paid. It is priced at 599+ Taxes which come up to be approximately 630/- per head. Let me summarize my experience-:
Ambiance- You pay outside and will be led into a dark room by a blind helper. You hold his shoulder and he will lead you in. It is completely a flat surface, hence minimizing the chance of falling. Inside, trust me your rod cells will not help you at all. It is the pitchest dark ever. There are velvet material laden walls which you will be able to feel. The helper will guide you right till the time you sit. All your belongings including mobile and money are to be deposited outside into a small almari. I cannot comment on the beauty of the ambiance but what I felt i simply loved. They do not allow you to see the slightest thing and thus make sure your experience of the dark is never broken. 5/5
Service- Such quick and accurate service is seldom seen even by waiters with full eyesight in the light. The waiters here are blind and have top notch courtesy and etiquette's. They will serve you so quickly and take care of everything you need. The service here will just increase the respect you had for disabled people. 6/5
Food- The food here is good and will just add to the already awesome experience. You will get a three course meal here- A starter, a main course and a dessert. We had the following-:
Cauliflower Manchurian- This was my favorite starter. It was finger licking good. 5/5
Paneer Manchurian- This one was the usual you would find anywhere. 3/5
Pulao- Laden with Masalas and fine grain Basmati--> Was such a great feeling to your taste buds. Yum. I was simply picturing it in my mind. 4.5/5
Vegetable Curry- Such a great compliment to the yummy Pulao. The two met to create a lovely meal which you would remember for long. 4.5/5
Raita- The usual yummy Raita. 3/5
Mango Panacotta- It tasted more like a custard rather than a mango panacotta. It was okay. 2.5/5
Will i come here again? I loved the experience that I got. I would take a bow to the service and the concept. Yes, I will come here again. This was the best way I could have celebrated my birthday. This is an experience you can boast of and do add it to the Top 50 things you must do before you die.
I am writing this review way too late, please read until end as it would be worth. My first visit to this place was more than half a decade ago when they launched and it was located at the place in Inorbit mall where Smash is present now. An entirely different concept of dining which I was very curious to experience about. With the entire bunch of friends I planned to go. We deposited all our phones, watches etc in the counter and started the journey in the dark. Our Guide Mr. Srinivas introduced us with the darkness and made us comfortable too. In the entire course of your journey you have to listen to your guide and follow his commands. I had no idea how Srinivas looks as it was absolute dark the moment we entered but his voice was bold and loud with a proficient tone of English. The first experience in dark was to smell and identify and he handed us small jars filled with spices like cardamom, jeera, cloves etc and I don't remember what came to my hand but I identified it. Then came the second round to identify the place we are in and it was a shopping mall as there were rows and goods placed. The next one was a jungle with grass floor and birds chirping along with trees and smell of forest. I heard the sound of a flowing river as well. Crossing the forest we reached to the actual river side for a short boat ride with an actual engine sound and vibrations of the boat, the boat was actually placed in water as I tried to touch the river. Remember, Srinivas(Guide) was with us guiding throughout the tour. After the long tiring journey here comes the time for refreshments and we headed to the Cafeteria. Srinivas along with Cafeteria staff helped us to sit and provide us the menu. This. Menu card was not a regular one because you cannot see anything there, the Cafeteria staff had to tell the menu items and the prices. I was carrying currency notes despite the wallets were submitted in the entrance itself. I ordered a water bottle and my friends too some snacks. I paid them currency notes and they returned exact change which i checked after coming out in light. We all were very much thankful to Srinivas and we became friends. We all introduced ourselves that we have recently joined Wipro Tech and Srinivas replied that before he was also associated with the same firm. Srinivas did a brief of his job profile as a BPO call center associate and said this exact punch line 'In BPO I used to listen to people, now people are listening to me' #Respect
