Very impressed with the safety and hygiene standards. There were safety screens placed on all tables and sanitizers were readily available across the place.
Although the menu was limited and cold beverages weren't really available, it was quite a delight and safe to visit during the 'pandemic situation' without any second thoughts.
Food was tasty and service was good
One of the best and happening places in Hyderabad.
Visit this place at any hour of the day, and you will see the crowd !Have been to this place multiple times and always satisfied !

I've stayed in Novotel for a week, while my stay I used to have breakfast and sometimes Lunch and dinner here.
to Individuals -I would really thank to Husthasini for welcoming with beautiful smile and the way she responses is really nice, All the best to her for future endeavors.
Now coming to food - Breakfast - plenty of tasty varieties including irani chai :)
Lunch and dinner - I wasn't so excited as it's mostly repetitive.
Great food 🥘 great place for to enjoy food with friends and family hats 🎩 off to the chef who make it happen that vijayawada no less then any other city’s of India. Very well balanced buffet and display. And more over it’s value for money 💴. Good job 👏
Went with family and had an amazing experience. The ambience of Hotel is relly great and music and food is good. I like you pasta. Staff are friendly and Service great. The staff always show good r receiving and hospitality. Will definitely visit soon
Having dinner at Food Exchange (Novotel) with some friends was a good experience. We went for the buffet option.
The place itself wasn’t so spectacular, not too fancy or extravagant, more on the business side. Decors are simple but elegant. Atmosphere was good and most of the tables were occupied during dinner, people were enjoying their food.
Service was good, we were attended well. Just a small, funny incident happened here. When we were seated we asked for the regular water and on the table was a plain glass bottle of it and we said that this is fine thinking is just filtered water. And during the evening we had like 5 bottles of these since it had only 660 ml. When the bill came we found out that actually that was some of the most expensive water, around rs 300 per 660 ml bottle :).
Most of the food selection was delicious and the spread is large. They have a live grill on the terrace as well for more diversity. Chicken, fish, seafood, Mutton, and other meats and cold cuts are there to entertain your palate. Oriental and continental food are not missing. Chicken dim sum tasted amazing. The desserts part was offering plenty of choices and the taste was there as well.
The buffet dinner is priced very high, definitely not a place for someone on a budget.
Sunday brunch is the best I have attended in the city..great ambience and food ..and then hit the pool and have a chillax time ..best way to sum up your weekend...!!
Been here for Sunday Brunch along with friends and had a memorable one with weather making it even more better.
Husthasini welcomed us with a smiling face and she provided us a table even though we arrived little late.
Chef Meenanath took care of my food being a vegan and prepared really healthy and quality food. Shiva V (waiter) took care of us very well and attended to all our needs.
The only disappointnent is with the Supervisor or Asst.Manager Anand behaving as if he is a manager of a budget hotel and showing his attitude towards us for anything we ask for. It could have been answered politely and dignified manner even if the answer was no. I hope he really learn some manners and avoid these kind of mistakes in the near future.
Overall a memorable experience and will surely visit again.
It's a great place, with great ambience , awesome food specially sweets and pastry section. Staff is very humble and polite with quick response specially Anand. Liked the staff service alot. I keep visiting this place since I am a member there which is totally worth it.
Wednesday I went there for my parents Anniversary. Along with the discounts in buffet since I am a member there, they provided cake for the occasion that too free of cost . We had cake cutting with staff and pictures for the occasion.
I visited this place on Thursday afternoon along with 2 other frnds .. while passing towards Hitex since i had Novotel membership which was never used so thought I could use it for lunch ..
been here especially for that ..
The buffet spread was good with 3 non-veg and 3 veg starters along that pretty decent main course and salad dressings ...
And the best part is awesome desserts with much of sweets and pastries.. and 4 flavours ice creams
For 3 ppl after 50% Discount costed us 2500
Which i felt was reasonable ...
Try this place on special occasions
Service was good and quick !!
Staff greeted us with a smile ..
Starters should have been better .. 😕
Any aspect of your life, the importance of one thing remains constant – FOOD. Think about it, whatever you do….whatever the occasion…whatever the place…..FOOD is always important!
Novotel Hyderabad recognizes that well and they have, to ensure that their guests get the best of the food, employed an army of the very best Chefs and kitchen staff that will manage to blow your mind with the variety and options of the cuisines that they offer and also with how they nail each of this Cuisine so well!
The recently transformed signature Cafe of Novotel (which was earlier known as “The Square”), has now been spruced up quite a notch and is now known as “The Food Exchange”…..and rightly so…..it truly is an exchange of food, memories, laughter and good times, all under one happy roof!
The breakfast at Novotel is absolutely glorious! It may not be the biggest spread of them all, but truly is one of the most consistently delicious ones! From in house sausages to beautiful omelettes and from the choicest of breads to the most celebrated regional dishes, they truly cover it all!
What however, will blow your mind, is the Sunday Brunch at Novotel! If glorious is an understatement in any case, it will be in this one! Live Counters from grills to chaats, Sushi, Dimsums, Oriental, Thai, Indian and MY OH MY….the Desserts…..They truly have it all!
Authentic, nice and mouth watering food. The Staffa re very friendly and give their 100% in serving us. On a whole it’s a tasty brunch. The hospitality was nice and Mr. Sanjeev and Mr.Anand have served us well.
Superb food and excellent service. nice hospitality by Anand and team nice breakfast nice hotel nice facility and I like this Hyderabad city
Very happy with food and service, nice hospitality given by everyone. Anand and team made my day wonderful. Buffet spread was really amazing.
We were here to celebrate a birthday.
Firstly, the spread of the brunch was good and encompassed a large variety.
We were pleasantly surprised by the new combinations available in salads and appetizers, different from most other places and enjoyed them.
Secondly,a special mention for the courteous and attentive service by Ms.Prashanti who made the whole experience smooth.Mr.Ayush,the manager was also very welcoming and took the extra effort of serving us a well-made haleem.
Lastly, all the main course dishes were good and their effort to give newer varieties of desserts is commendable.
All in all, thanks to the whole team at Food Exchange for providing a good experience and great service.
Would recommend for a good Sunday brunch.
Food- 4.75/5
Service- 5/5
Ambience-4.5/5
Anand and team was very cordial during our visit. We really appreciate their service. They were very friendly with kids. They have great patience.
Prashanti , Santosh , Jennifer and Ashok were very nice, Excellent servers, serving with a smile and made our visit special
Will recommend to others
Thanks for making arrangements for my husband's birthday upon my last minute request.
Really enjoyed the hospitality and Novotel has a great staff to treat you well.
Went for a lunch buffet and the food was exceptional. Good collection of desserts as well.
Will be back for more.
Thanks,
Anusree
Sunday brunch at Novotel on Mother’s Day was a memorable time with family. Always a pleasure to visit the food exchange!! 😊👍 the spread was awesome. There were literally some uncountable number of varieties. Loved the seafood, the deserts(especially the jellies) and of course the activities. Looking forward to visiting again soon.
This place deserves a five star on all counts. The way to Novotel is lined with greenery and is a treat for the eyes.
As soon as you enter, you are greeted by the smiling staff and are escorted to your seat. The variety on offer is a lot more than what your appetite is for sure. There were 4 different juices/mocktails along with iced tea and sweet lassi to beat the summer heat. I liked the aam panna, sweet lime and watermelon along with the sweet lassi. The starters had 2 varieties of chicken and 1 variety of fish along with 3 veg starters. I did not really like the paneer but everything else was delectable.
There were live counters for pasta, noodles, fried rice, varieties of breads and dosas and all of the items which came from there were well made and a treat for the palate. The main course section had the usual biriyani and curry. Whatever I tried among the lot was good. The desserts menu was vast and anybody with a sweet tooth will not be disappointed. There were cakes, pastries, ice creams along with a variety of toppings, fresh cut fruits and the lot. The ambiance is good with lush green lawns and the swimming pool surrounding it.
The service was good with Mahesh and others being always available at hand. Chef Shiva too walked up to us and asked for feedback. Was impressed with their attention to detail and customer centric approach. Sure it's pricy but all good things are! Come here to have a relaxed time with your friends and family and the food and the people here along with the ambiance will ensure that you go back with fond memories.
Been here regular for lunch, there soup and salad buffet is great. Chef irfan takes good care of the my food choices. Salads is always tasty as you have lot of variety to play around. The service staff(anand)is very cordial.
Food Exchange is bringing together food, culture and traditions from across the world and making your breakfast, lunch and dinner exciting! The bright colors on the walls are really welcoming and the seating space are also very well done. With regards to the food, you of course have all the best cuisines in the world like Italian, Oriental, etc but also local flavors from South India, specially Andhra Pradesh. The cold cuts section is really exhaustive and so is the desserts section. There are a lot of live stations which are present to create your customized food in buffets.

New look, New feel, Square to Food exchange. Whatever you name it, we won’t stop coming to this place. Every time I visit with my family I feel that we are at home. This place have some amazing people working with them, Praveen is one such Manager who will ensure that your visit is memorable.
Usually it’s Shivakumar but last Sunday during Brunch it was Praveen and his crew who were delighting their guests.
Coming to the Restaurant interiors, they have spent quite a lot to renovate this place and I must say the new look is awesome
Live counters with change in counter tables and the design will give you a fresh feel.
Food as usual is always great, grill section is our favourite. Basa fish was really good with tandoor chicken.
We usually don’t go to main course but this time we tried the momos and pastas which was really tasty.
Mangoes is an addition to this hugeee buffet spread. Lovely yummy mangoes with lovely desserts. You guys made our visit a special and memorable one.
Thank you Praveen and team, will visit again soon but not in this month 😉
It's rare that we encounter such unconventional cuisines in a city like ours. Although having said that, off late we do notice quite an effort from many hotels taking an initiative to showcase food from those parts of the globe that haven't been explored as much.
One such promotion was the Moroccan food festival at at Novotel, where Chef Oumaimma, a (Moroccan herself) came down from Pullmandubai to curate home style food where most of the items are typically cooked in tagines. A dish that I particularly loved was the lamb tagine cooked with prunes, apricots & almonds.
Here's to an experience I'll cherish for quite some time!
This review is based by an invite from the hotel.
Nice Ambience. Great food, nice collection of breads. Yummy pickels of all kind. Desserts to die for. Good service, recommendations by them were very good for starters.
It was an amazing dining experience, pretty amazing food, friendly staff, great ambiance. Must try this place. Overall a relaxed experience and will be back some time.
Novotel have surely raised the bar in terms of there service and definitely food as well.Rahela from sales team has been a fantastic support to start with who ensured that my birthday celebrations go on well and the restaurant ensured it that everything was well arranged I thank Anand and his team for there amazing service offered will surely want to rate this place and people a overall 5.
Went there with the team and unexpectedly it came out to be an awesome experience. One thing that really made my day was, I saw mulberry on the dessert and asked the waiting person if he can just get some mulberries for me and he actually got it. The service is amazing there. For starters there is not too much variety but taste is good . They had good variety of desserts which is the best thing out there.
Good place for dining, went out for casual dining, the ambience is pretty chilled out.i ordered for Nalli gosh suggested by suresh, I absolutely love this place,be it the staff, the service from Suresh and krishna was amazing

While staying in the hotel Novote we had a chance to enjoy their breakfast buffet - a good spread indeed. The staff is quick to serve despite the rush and the variety is tremendous from North Indian to South Indian to Continental. They also have an outdoor seating arrangement which is quite pleasant.
We are very regular to Novotel.. we came to Sunday jazz brunch, enjoyed the food and service, All of them made my day wonderful. Anand and Santhosh made were very helpful. Thanks and will visit again

We are member of Accor plus last 4years. Enjoy the food and service. Like the new restaurant. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Thanks to everyone. Anand made my day wonderful
Everything was good. Came to celebrate feb 14th. Had a very good time. In the restaurent Anand help me a lot. Good food and nice place to enjoy with family.
It was pleasant stay for last 4 days in hotel food quality was superb & delicious food.Mr Irfan has made preparation of Veg Chowmein I loved it.He was a good gentlemen his services was excellent while dealing with customers.
The new food exchange restaurant in NHCC ......
Chef Irfan awesome food make of Indian Curry and kebab ....
It's amazing and handing carefully
Anand is one of the best host i have ever had in a restaurant. He ALWAYS has a welcoming smile and tries to do the best for his clients and tries to go extra mile to make his clientele feel elevated. If there is one reason for me to take the membership of Novotel spending 12k it is one reason and it is Anand.
This place is simply awesome. Let's begin with starters, "Fresh and Straight from the Counter. Served Piping Hot and the Chef's are very careful with the selection of pieces. If it's Boneless, it means you will not even get a trace of cartilage in it. The Dimshums are something to die for. Soft and Succulent and the rice flour coating is so thin that it makes you wonder, how did they get it this fine." Starters keep on changing from-day-to-day, but the Chef's serve you nothing but the best".
Main Course : You may not have the appetite after eating the starters. But the spread is outstanding, Delicacies carefully prepared with at least 40 varieties in both Veg. and Non-Veg. Live counters serve Mediterranean, Italian, Continental and Oriental Cuisine too. A Generous collection of Dips adds a good deal of glory to the spread. More than 20 different types of Breads (Indian Ones excluded) make you feel spoiled for choices.
Desserts : Please keep some space, since they are incredible. No compromises in this section. Every specification is met. Indian desserts are so nice, that even the loads of calories cannot stop you from having a second or third one. Real fruits are used and no added flavors. Even the quality of quality of Chocolates (White, Milk and Dark Compound) used are the best in the class available. No traces of any other substance in the desserts. They are so exotically presented that as a Foodie, you just want to stare and admire these creations.
This was my first visit to the new Food Exchange which opened up in the place of the square. The place has been renovated in pastel colours with blue chairs, and looks really good..... but the highlight of the restaurant is the alfresco seating ...... is a heaven in the Jan chilly weather....we were there on a Saturday and it happened to be a Grill night and I would surely say that this is indeed a meat lovers paradise. You have a live grill with abt 6 different non veg starters made in front of you and another 3 starters as a part of the buffet....
You had cilantro shrimp, adra ki chicken, pudina basa, curried ladyfish, rosemary tenderloin, squid vepudu, and Texas style chicken wings.... we loved the shrimp, the wings and the adraki chicken.....the buffet had murgh tikka, lam balls, and fish.... and they were outstanding..... the chicken tikka by chef irfan was very flavourful, and would melt in the mouth.....
The vegetarians had grilled veggies, pineapple, and mushrooms......and they tasted good too....
We stuffed ourselves with the non-veg starters, and felt like having some spicy Chinese starter and sous chef Meena delighted us with a spicy chicken 65......
The bar was manned by a nice guy Ramu, and he made us some exotic cocktails......
We were so full with the starters that we almost gave the main course a miss, but did have some noodles and fried rice from the live counter.... and it was done to perfection......
The buffet had a make your own salad counter, some ready made salads, a good spread of cold cuts, some mild soups, a whole array of main courses and some delectable desserts...... the best pick was the Black Forest cake, which was divine....
We were served by a smiling and efficient guy called Shankar Rao, and he ensured that we were well taken care of...
Had a chance to meet the executive chef Gaurav, and he explained us abt the new restaurant, their upcoming food festivals and their organic garden etc.... and we felt that it was a really nice gesture for him to spend time explaining ....
Overall a great experience, and would highly recommend the restaurant to all , and would love to come back again and again.....
Everything was really good. The food, the service, the ambience, I really liked it. The staff is really helpful, too. It's a little on the higher side, but it's worth it.
This was my first visit to The New Restaurant - The Food Exchange, the decor is minimalist, and Bright, and the Buffet stations/ counters are well laid out with space for and the counters are well laid out. The Alfresco seating is the Best in town, and in the wintery evening, it is "the Place to be "....we were there for the Dinner, and it happened to be a Desi Night.......some great Indian food.
The Desi night dinner buffet also includes Alcohol, and you have a Bar counter manned by Rama, who makes some great Cocktails, coming to the starters you had a live Tandoor Counter serving some of the best Tandoori items, we had some Chicken Tangdi, some boneless Mutton dish ( forgot the name ), and some Mustard flavoured Prawns each dish was made to Perfection by Chef Irfan.... the vegetarian options included malai brocolli, kala chana Kebab and some other veg kebab, and the best of the lot was the malai Brocolli.on the buffet counter you had another 3 nonveg starters ....of which the best was tawa fried King fish.
the Salad bar had a make your own salad counter, a wide variety of cold cuts including my fav smoked salmon and a few ready made salads, the main course consisted of a host of curries both veg and nonveg and a Live counter had Noodles and fried rice which were done to perfection. The Biryani too was very flavourful.
The dessert counter had an array of desserts, and the best of the lot was the Black Forest cake, and also the live Jalebi and Rabdi counter...
we were served by a smiling guy Shankar rao, who ensured that we were well taken care of....
Sous Chef Pawar checked on us, and recommended to try some of thier signature dishes and also explained abt their Grill night and the Sunday Brunch.
Over all a great Experience......kudos Chef Gaurav and team !!!!!!
Whenever we come to restaurant we prefer to sit outside, the pool ambience was good. Shankar,Rakesh, Anand were very helpful. Also we like the dessert on the buffet.
Im the member of Accorhotels. Lovely food and lovely staff specially Mr. Sanjeev is very good. All of them very helpful during my dinner session. Also thanks to Anand.
I’m the regular to food exchange, I really enjoyed the food and this place. Staff are very friendly and polite. Ranjan and ANAND made my day very special. Thanks to everyone.
Attended “Glow Bash 2019”, had wonderful experience. The way they host the party is simply awesome. Serving is too good to enjoy delicious food there, they took good care of all guest specially Anand is appreciated for awesome hospitality. Thank you very much Anand and Novotel Food Exchange. Highly recommended for any party/celebrations!!! Keep rocking!!!
Visited this place for their lunch buffet since my sister had won 2 vouchers for the same through an online contest!
The service was simply great, they had already booked a table for us...
The buffet spread looked lavish. Here's what I had:
Soup:
- The Lemon Coriander Soup tasted nice on a cold afternoon.
Drink:
-They got us a Pina Colada Mocktail which was v average.
Starters:
-The Paneer Tikka was great with the right spices
- The corn and pepper cauliflower was the best dish of the buffet, perfectly cooked and totally lip smacking.
-Vegetable cakes (cutlets basically) were nice too, not amazing but nice
Main Course:
- The Paneer curry, Butter Naan and Veg Biryani all tasted yummy!
- Veg noodles had a lot of salt
- Pav Bhaji was again a disappointing dish
- The Alfredo Pasta was rich in quality but was v v bland... Had less salt and oregano I guess.
Desserts:
- The Motichoor Ladoo and Coconut Barfi were on point! ❤
- The Cocoa Rocher was a little treat. Tasted good.
- The black forest cake was also v fine in taste!
- The pista macaroon was WOW!
- Banana cheescake was not to my liking. ( Since I don't like banana desserts)
Overall Rating:
Service: 5/5
Food: 3.5/5
Ambience: 4/5
New square is looking good, staff are giving gengel response. Mr Anand, Mr Krishna are the best choice for restaurant. we were there on thursday and planing tomorrow also.
where ever we get good food and good behavior of staff, I prefer to go there only.... that is Hitex Novotel...... Thank you Anand for your nice hospitality.
Lovely clean room and all staff very approachable especially Anand is very helpful. Had our lunch meal here with a good choice of food and drinks. Will book a return visit.
Buster for a breakfast this week, the food quality has significantly improved in comparison to what I experienced a month ago at the same resturant. I get a feeling sometime the ambience makes a lot of difference on how u react to a place u visit. On days the resturant can be quite full due to events and high occupancy, maybe the resturant mgmt should consider open dinning for those who still prefer quite time.
Been here on a Friday to celebrate a special occasion. Loved the new look and feel of the restaurant. Though it was pretty crowded, the service was excellent. Ordered from the menu and the food did not disappoint. The rogani sheek is one of a kind, packed with flavour yet so delicate. The malabari prawns were a good choice too.
Had the Novotel burger, which never fails to disappoint. Overall a very delectable meal.
Do look out for Rakesh, Deepak, K Rao and Shiva who all go out of their way to provide a fine experience.
This was my first visit here. The spread was good, but the service staff was very bad. We had to request them for something, but had to go get them ourselves even after waiting for 10-15 min.
