Over all the food was great.
Rajugari Kodi Pulao was quite different and the one and only dish which defines the restaurant. The kodi and chapa chips were great. All the pulao’s were amazing.
The only thing bothering me was the waiting and unorganised reservations.
Havent been out since the lockdown started but today was the day I tasted my favourite food from ULAVACHARU & I must say they are top notch with there taste, higeine & there class of mainiting the same taste from years together.

The restaurant as it's tagline suggests tried to be the originally original cuisine by including subtle ulavacharu flavours into most of the items.
Tried Bangla kodi, bamboo chicken, konaseema Kodi vepudu, rayalavari Kodi pulao and upavachaaru Kodi pulao. Bangla kodi and konaseema Kodi vepudu were very good while bamboo chicken is not worth all the hype, I'd not recommend.
The pulao's had all the flavours and were upto the mark.

Very nice place to go have Andhra food. Love their ulavacharu and Ragi sangati combination! Just know that the interiors or the seating is not exceptional and they have tried to accommodate crowds in the small space they have so it ends being a little congested/crowded mostly always!

Heard about this place in Bangalore. But never got a chance to visit. Surprisingly had an oppertunity to go here at Jubilee hills. The place is compact with average seating. The lights are dim at places.
The menu is very impressive. They have a lot of local cuisine and very tasty. They start by serving a sweet dish and the allow you to order. Unfortunately I cannot pronounce the names. But the chicken wrapped with potato chip was great. the salan on the table was good. The gongura biryani was great. And the best was the apricot dessert... loved it..
Their prices are average. The portions are small.
Ordered Thali Box from this place. The taste was decent and I claimed offer of 50% off on Swiggy which made Very affordable as dishes at Ulavacharu are bit pricy. Very happy with the Quality and Quantity of the food.

Went to lunch with my fiends .
Tried the dahi pakodi. Mutton kaju roast , chicken starter and Guntur Bilal Biriyani. The taste was awesome especially the mutton dishes . The spices levels can be a bit high for some ppl. Hence kindly inform before hand. The staff was courteous and helpful . Definitely need to visit again to taste the seafood.

You really get royal treatment here as they have a very nice ambiance. They serve you water in silver glasses which feels really good. Coming to the food, we ordered their brinjal biryani which was lip-smacking and the raita that they gave with it was equally good. Loved this place so so much. It was the best.

This place has some real tasty Desi food Telangana and Andhra style. It's very yummy. If you are a Telugu person then you should have visited this place by now. I tried the Raju Gari Kodi Pulao, the Bamboo chicken and the Nellore Cheppala Pulsu. There were a decent number of spices in the rice which seemed to have been cooked with chicken bouillon. Bamboo chicken pieces were soft and the fish pulsu had the right blend of spices and tamarind.
We ordered Raju gari Kodi pulav 🥰 it was awesome . Gadwal biryani was good and a bit spicy .lastly I ordered junnu and it was extremely satisfactory💙. Highly recommend for pulav lovers

These guys are famous for their pulaos, and my favorite one is rayala vari Kodi pulao and even the ulavacharu biryani is also nice, don't forget to try their bamboo chicken and junnu but the service is a little bit slow and prices are moderate
First of all, if you're a vegetarian, avoid this place. Not because the veg is bad, but the selection for vegetarian food is very less compared to non vegetarian
Anyway, the hospitality is really good (much superior to Paradise in Gachibowli). And if you're a middle aged person having trouble reading in low lights, then avoid this place. Because they have low lighting & menu is slightly difficult to read
Coming to taste of the food, no complaints on vegetarian. We had veg pulav & mixed vegetable as side dish & it was really good one. And if you don't have appetite for large stomach, forget this place as the quantity served is for 2 people.
All said, this place is definitely worth a visit atleast once that provides good value for money

We ordered raju gari kodi pulao (rice cooked in chicken stock, good blend of spices and spicy), bamboo chicken (marinated with spices and cooked in bamboo), Rajamundry rose milk (blend of three ice creams with rose milk) and fresh lime soda.
All the above three were authetic and must try delicies of Andhra.
If you want to have an authentic experience of Hyderabadi food then this is the place to be. They have many old and traditional recipes which makes you realise what authentic food is like. Highly recommended.

Good place to have authentic Andhra Telangana delicacies. Decent ambience with curiosities courteous staff. Some serving members seemed to be new and had to be requested repeatedly. Food was slightly salty otherwise taste was good. Buttermilk was a disappointment and expected it to be much better. Parking is a concern
A warm and friendly welcome with fantastic customer service. Always great, tasty food served hot just the way we like it. Was dissapointed when their signature dish like raju garu kodi pulav and bamboo chicken was not available on the day we visited. Would definitely recommend this place. Ulavacharu is one place that needs to be on your visit list if you like Telugu food 😋. Their consistency and simplicity is what makes it special.
Have visited this place multiple times and every single time they amaze me with their consistency in their taste. I feel they are short staffed for the crwod that pour in for them.
I love their pachi mirchi kodi Kebab, vistraaku pulao, bangla kodi to name a few. They put in their best on every dish to make your visit memorable. Do try it, if you haven't.

Ulvacharu is laid out in a traditional and antique format. Stone pillars , water fall cut out of a tree , windows and doors of old wood and iron , metal ceiling ... brings a convergence of old and contemporary architecture.
Floor is segmented very intelligently and aesthetically into smaller spaces for privacy.
Was here for the soft launch.
The guthi vankaya annam( brinjal fry and rice ) just blew my mind. Super thick , rich and flavourful gravy on top of flavoured rice. Excess oil in this dish is a problem in most places . There was hardly any oil.. just blissful , flavourful gravy 😍
I have had uluvacharu ( tangy , spicy horse gram gravy ) only 2 times earlier in my life. Hadn't liked it on both occasions. My friend forced me to try the Uluvacharu here. After a couple of licks the taste got to me and had multiple servings. It is a very very tangy gravy ... and the taste is very strong and unlike anything else... difficult to explain, but very enjoyable 😊
Pappucharu annam( special dal rice) is quite deceptive in looks. From the first spoon the spicy, ghee laced dish is to die for. Some may find this dish on the spicier side, but I find it perfect.
Apricot delight - soft layers of pudding on top of double ka Meetha slices below. This is their signature dessert. A very unique, delectable creation. A must have !!!

Very nice place for some Andhra cuisine. Lots of non veg specialities but some decent veg food as well.
For starters ordered Mokkajonna Vepudu (baby corn) which was really nice, could have been a little spicier though. For main course ordered the Gutti Vankaya Pulav which is basically Pulav with Brinjal which was yummy and Mushroom Tomato Curry to go with the pulav, both of which were yummy.
Seating is comfortable and service is okay.
Valet parking is available.
Had cashew chicken fry, kodi chips, and raju gari biryani. Every thing was good. Good for nonveg lovers. Can go with kids. Cozy place, ambience was good. No music, can enjoy with our conversation and no disturbance. Service was good. People are polite and greeted us.

This is a very good place to visit with the family for sumptuous lunch/dinner with an authentic Andhra touch. The chicken chips, Raayalseema prawn and Fish boneless are pick out dishes. The bamboo chicken is a signature dish here that you mustn't miss. But check for the availability as soon as you reach there, else you may miss out on this. I came back after a span of 4 years just for that.
I have tasted bamboo chicken, it was good. The A Ulavacharu restaurant is a very good restaurant for dining out. It's more expensive. Chicken pasted biryani is bad taste. Chicken dum biryani is good taste in Ulavacharu. Service also not bad. Clean n fine dining tables and Hall. Inside is Conjusted.
