Mamagoto already established in Ncr, Mumbai, bangalore, chennai opened in hyderabad last week. It literally means "to play with food".
A successful attempt to drive people of hyderabad to think beyond biryani n explore pan Asian cuisine. Whether it is catchy ambience, its couteous staff or the flavourful dishes they serve all are pretty good. A wonderful experience oo this Christmas eve. Still there is some craving remained to taste many other offered dishes.
Whenever i feel the need to eat authentic pan-asian food i visit Mamagoto. Located in the heart of Kothaguda this place gives off a chinatown vibe unmatched elsewhere in Hyderabad. I had ordered Crystal Dumplings-the outer layer is literally transparent like crystals and will leave you spellbound, Veg Hawkers Noodles, Tofu tossed in chinese pickled chilly sauce and Crispy Wonton Chilly Chicken. The chicken complimented the noodles perfectly. This place also had a wide range of beverage options to go along with your food. However i felt that the prices could have been a bit lower to make it a regular visit and not a once in a while one. The ambience inside is remarkable and an early visit or table booking will ensure you get the best seats in the house.
I ordered food to be home delivered from this place. The packaging was great. The food was delicious and worth the money spent. I loved the panna cotta and chicken baos.
Iโm from the US so Iโm used to having sticky rice with my Asian meals, which is a rare find here in India since most Asian places serve basmati. Ordered the sticky fried rice with chicken and was pleasantly surprised! It was absolutely delicious, and as an anime fan I found the packaging very cute.

One of the best place in Hyderabad for having authentic Chinese food .you can choose from ala carte or buffet . One of the best Asian food in Kondapur, Hi-Tec city, we were 5 of them and choose to mamagoto restaurant , to have dinner, to try something different food, we ordered street style chicken dumpling , rock shrimp tempura , California roll, maki non veg platter, so good food , and presented, drinks we had pomogrenate martini , frozen margarita, mama shakers, passion fruit mojito,.
In main dish we had spicy bankok bowl, prawn three pepper bomb, yangchow rice, ,taste wise is good, ambience is some thing different from other restaurants, nice spacious restaurant .

The day I visited it's was full of crowds in restaurants, it's waiting after some time got the tabel, we had buffet , it's 1299 AI WITH ALCOHOL NICE DRINKS WE ENJOYED THE DRINKS OVER THERE LIKE CINAMON WHISKEY STORY COCKTAILS, BUDWISER BEER, MARGARITAS, BLUBEERY MIJITO, FRIZEN MARGARITAS, WITH LOVE OF MAMA COCKTAIL MADE OF DARK RUM ITS SUPER , gin base cocktail, , and nice starter like prawn rolls . This place, being right next to my office, is more often than not the default option, especially if we are in the mood for Chinese. However, I didn't particularly like their Veg Hakka Noodles, which is why I've given 4 instead of 5. I'm more of a traditional Hakka Noodles lover, with mild spices, but here it was the more Indianised version of the same. Other than that, they have a really great collection of dishes and drinks.

Mamagoto has been that place that continuously pops up on my "recommended" list but was being pushed away for some weird reason or the other. I finally made the time to make a trip down to the Kondapur branch last night with some friends to see whether the place lived up to its authentic vibe.
The place is very easy to find and is surrounded by a quite a few other restaurants so the building is very hard to miss.
The restaurant has a very cozy vibe with good music and good seating. The place is dimly lit which built up the mood for what was to come... Which, in my opinion, was a proper celebratory meal.
Before I go off on my experience at mamagoto, I'd like to throw a big shout-out to Mr. Marvyn who really made my evening very enjoyable! The service at mamagoto was superb and the waiters are very friendly and well-spoken.

We got some fried rice crispies on the house before our order started rolling out so that was a nice gesture from the restaurant.
The starters, the platters specifically, were absolutely amazing! The Aunty's Platter had a mix of different veggies including Tofu, Gyoza (a type of dumpling), Corn fritters and Hua Hin rolls (a variety of spring rolls). The platter was served with a variety of sauces to go with it and the sauces added some great taste to the veggies.
The Dumpling Platter had assorted flavours of dumplings that were perfectly cooked and served with great sauces.
The Wok fried crispy lotus stem was an interesting starter. The lotus stem pieces were deep-fried and seasoned with some spices that gave them some extra flavour.
The main course was just what you'd want it to be... Authentic noodles and fried rice cooked beautifully and some crispy vegetables in Szechuan Sauce to go with the rice and noodles. Now, the quantities aren't the largest but mamagoto is the kind of place where you're paying for quality over quantity so I'd say that this is definitely a place to try if you're looking for authenticity in taste and ambiance.
Now, to top this all off, the dessert was really nice. The Banoffee Pie was a real treat... Filled with sliced pieces of bananas, glazed with caramel and whipped cream all on top of a biscuit base (biscuits made out of jaggery). The texture of the dessert was a good mix of soft and hard (the crispy biscuit base).
On the whole, the experience was really enjoyable and definitely worth the trip. I, for one, am definitely going back to get another smack out of their famous lunch buffet.
Mamagoto is not the most pocket-friendly place but it's the kind of place where you'd definitely like to go to for a date, anniversary, birthday or get-together.
Personal must-trys: Aunty's Platter, Dumpling Platter, Vegetables in Szechuan sauce, Hakka or Pan-Fried Noodles, Mama's Hot Spicy Fried Rice.

Place - Mamagoto, Kondapur
Mamagoto is my favorite place when it comes to pan-asian cuisine.
Ordered Aunty's platter veg as a starter which contains hua hin highway rolls (Perfumed With Galangal Lemongrass, Crispy Asperagus Rolls Done With A Bit Of Cheese, Served With A Mama Dip), veg gyoza (a kind of dumplings), tofu satay skewers and corn fitters. Each of it tasted good with the dips.
For main course ordered a stir fried udon chicken noodles and veg spicy Bangkok bowl ( Thai spices, herbs , garlic , chillies served with sticky rice). No complaints wrt the main course as well. Felt it to be a little heavy, packed the remaining food back home.
Ordered a lavender and coconut lemonade to go with the meal. The lavender flower fragrance was very fresh that couldn't get the taste of coconut and lemon much. If you don't mind such flower fragrance in your drink, you can go for it. Personally, I didn't like it.
Finished it off with mama's homemade chocolate cake with ice cream.

One of the heartful meals I had. Though for most of the dishes you might need to check the description to get an idea about the dish, taste wise it's not strange or experimental. Liked the interiors and service as well.
If you wanna take a break from the regular indo-chinese/ desi Chinese food, do give mamagoto a try. They serve alcohol.
I was surprised with the number of diffrent options of starters they serve. I was quite impressed with the preparation. Ambiance is good but only concern I had was staff could have taken more care to get rid of flies ( I do understand its acproblem in whole hyderabad in this season but some measures could be taken for hygenie sake) . Buffet spread was also good.

Mamagoto is an authentic pan Asian setup located in Kondapur. I was here one fine afternoon to try out their lunch buffet with my colleagues. First of all, the ambiance of the place is pretty simple. They have put various art paintings and pretty wall hangings.
The lunch spread had a decent range. The starters were served on the table and comprised of Chicken wings, chilli fish, chilli tofu, chicken dumplings etc. The appetizers were really tasty and quite delicious. My personal favorite of the lot was their chicken wings which had an even mix of sweet and spice to it.
Next up, for mains I had their Mix veg in schezwan sauce, Tofu black pepper, Thai green curry, Khao suey, Hawker style noodles and Lamb in chilli soya sauce. Amongst all the dishes, the commonality was that the usage of proper ingredients made them taste quite authentic and different from each other. The make your own khao suey counter was indeed a blessing for me. I simply relished their khao suey. The rich coconut broth was perfect for my palate.
For desserts, I had their chocolate spring rolls, darsan and ice cream. The spring rolls were served hot on the table and worked amazingly well with the smooth vanilla ice cream. The darsan was also good. All in all, I had an awesome experience at Mamagoto.
Mamagoto is THE place when you want vaguely asian food like items to shove down your throat.
The lights and the paintings on the ceiling are hella good looking making it difficult to keep your eyes down but the taste bud erection is inevitable when you get the food. Do try the ramen.

We have been to Mamagoto on my mother's birthday i. e, 5th August and our experience was really nice! Especially, the customer service was AMAZING!
I booked a table through Zomato. Reached the place at 9:30pm. Not that crowded, and we received by one of their staffs in the entrance.
We ordered soup, prawn starter, chicken dumplings. All of them were nice but dumplings were outstanding!
Then, we ordered main course - chicken in pepper sauce and mixed fried rice - chicken prawn and egg. Chicken in pepper sauce was really nice and mixed fried rice was good and it has a lot of prawns.
To end the dinner, we ordered handmade coconut ice cream which was the show stopper! Moreover, they gave two more as complementary. Really felt delighted by their gesture and would like thank them for such a brilliant hospitality!

One my friends took me to this place around 3 years back and i loved the place back then and when I visited again recently it's the same feeling.
Being vegetarians we ordered Zucchini fries and a Veg Ramen bowl . Both of them were just amazing . We took 1/2 of the veg ramen bowl each and it's a delight to try it out atleast once .
Also the ambience of the place is great , it's not the regular boring sofisticated design.
A decent Pan Asian place around Kondapur Google office. I love their soups & dumplings. The place is a little bit on the costly side but it's worth the buck.

The food over here is good and it's just want you expect. Customization is available and although I could not click many pics though I ordered many food items, I can say for sure that the food over here isn't bland if you happen to specify what you prefer the taste to be.
Let me start off with the interiors. Whoever designed this deserves an award. Really really amazing interior design. Coming to the food, the starters are amazing and you can have a nice time with your gang given the in-house bar too. The main course could do with some more items though. But again, the desserts take the cake( pun intended xD).

2. The Schezwan sauce bowl was decent. Shame it doesn't come with a side of anything. We had to order a portion of hakka noodles. The noodles were tasty.
3. I think the best item we tried was the beverage. The cranberry and kaffir lime mocktail was brilliant. I also got their homemade smoothie which was not that good.
4. The ambiance and service was great. The staff knew what they were talking about and answered all our questions. Which helped us a lot in placing the order.
5. The complementary crisps were actually not bad. The sauces that came with it did not seem like it was free or cheap. We really enjoyed it.
Overall a good restaurant. Try the Kung Pao don't try the Schezwan sauce. Definitely try their mocktails.
I had a fantastic dining experience here. What immediately drew my attention was the incredibly artistic ceiling and the overall representation of various Asian cultures in the restaurant's decor.
The food was exceptional, particularly the dim sum, which was absolutely delicious. The staff was not only attentive but also incredibly supportive throughout the meal. Ravi, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure we felt right at home. Mamagoto is not only affordable but also boasts a wonderful ambiance. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Lovely place, good food. Nice ambiance and a refreshingly new Asian food experience. Cocktails/Drinks are decently priced and portion size of food is also good. We tried their Old School Gyoza Dimsums, Red Chilli and burnt garlic Shrimps. In dessert we had the Coconut and palm sugar icecream which was my personal favourite. Staff are also friendly and responsive. Must try.
The restaurant is situated in a building that has various eateries. There is limited parking in front of the building. We went after 3 PM and parking was easily available and there was no crowd in the restaurant. There was 1 plus 1 offer on selected drinks during the happy hours. The food was good. All the chicken starters were good. However, the lamb starter was quite chewy and it wasn't good. The momo platter had a bit more salt than needed. Drinks were very good. Overall, a good place for food and drinks. Can have a relaxed lunch during less busy times.
Had a very good experience here. Went for a family dinner and we were delighted by the ambience. Great place to try good Chinese cuisine. Taste of all the dishes were very good and service was prompt. Though the prices are on the higher side, the taste is something that you will be satisfied with. They also serve drinks and hence a good place to visit if you want to spend an evening with someone special or a casual friends gathering.
The ambience was good and if you really want to try out something either in Chinese or Japanese they you can definitely visit this place. Money wise this place is good as well.

The food was excellent at Mamagoto. But I felt the portion was a little less as per the price, especially for Dimsum and Sushi. Nice ambience, but a little uncomfortable because the weather was quite hot and humid (and probably, Air conditioning was not working??)

The food is awesome and they appeal to my taste buds. Good food comes from a place which is hygienic , prepared with care and served with a smile. All boxes ticked.
We spent around 5.5k for 3 adults. 4 courses โฆ starters โฆ main course โฆ drinks and deserts !!!

Quite a place for authentic and premium chinese food ๐ฅ. Felt, their prices are a bit on the higher side but the quality is good. They serve alcohol too ๐ธ

A real good place for asian food and a wide menu.. Sushi and wok items are the best. The hospitality was awesome. Marvin has attended our table and I am impressed with his hospitality. You wonโt get disappointed with the food. They do take an instant feedback and make sure you are satisfied.
The food was good, but being at this restaurant for the first time we had no idea what we were ordering.
We took the buffet and the lady who served us initially helped us by explaining what we were being served, but after the server just kept placing stuff on the table without explaining the items much.
The buffet was โน799 per person for non-veg and the parking was ok.
It is fairly easy to find it as it is on the main road only.
We ordered a bao and we could not finish it, so we asked for it to be packed. We noticed that they did not pack any sauces with it.

Visited this place for Sunday lunch and immediately got a table. Service was very good. Loved the food, sushis are a must try here and ramen was good too. Complimentary rice crackers are a hit.
A topclass restaurant. Service and presentation are very good. Good is call very delicious. I have visited them twice, but both an non-peak time, hence I am not aware of footfall to tables ratio here. It's located at the ground floor of a commercial building with compound, hence parking and other convenience are quite good. There are 2-3 restaurants (and a pub) in the same building, hence a very convenient place. It's a good place where you can take your clients as well.
