So, on the day of my marriage anniversary, my husband and me decided to try the stuff here. We drove to Jubilee hills and following summaries my review for this place-:
Ambiance- it's just not a supremely gorgeous ambiance but a very homely style of place. The seating is simple. The outside portion has a wooden table with a chair on one side and just the pavement on the other. I went here during the lockdown period, hence, there wasn't any seating on the inside. I would call the ambiance as simple, homely and cosy. The inside portion has several jams, spreads, honey, sauces, grains, oils, ghee and even bath and body products on display. 4/5
Service- You give the order at the kitchen window and he makes it for you. There was complete self service due to the lockdown. 4/5
Food- Now to be honest, the food may not appeal to every palette. As I totally adore vegan food, I loved what I savoured.
Nachos with green hummus- The nachos were totally soggy. I assume it had been kept and due to the moisture caused by the ongoing monsoons, it had gotten all soggy. The hummus dip was good. It had a distinct tatse of basil. 3/5 just coz they served us super soggy nachos.
Bisi belle bhath- This isn't the best bissi bele bhat but it's very homely. It is served with some fried karela. You can try this if you like homelyvegan food. 4/5
Burrito bowl- This consisted of some spicy rice, shredded cabbage doused in lime juice, nachos, green hummus and some potato veggie. Again, this was extremely homely and not like super yummy. I am a fan of simplicity, hence liked it. 4/5
Ragi based mega Margherita pizza- This just isn't the usual pizza. The crust was like papad and is gluten free with ragi as it's constituent. The topping was simply a cashew cheese with a taste of basil. The entire dish looked funny to see but tasted exactly like a Margherita pizza and I would urge all vegans, diet conscious people who crave pizza but avoid it due to dairy products and unhealthy ingredients to try this as it gives you a similar taste with less guilt. 4.5/5
Vegan chocolate ice cream- Don't miss this if you are here. The ingredients are cashew, seeds and cold pressed Coco. It was so yummy that I wanted to have another cup of it. 6/5
Pros-:
1) They endorse cruelty free food
2) Healthy food with less spices
3) Farm to plate concept
4) Homely food
5) Good location and cozy ambiance
6) Good dips, sauces and other organic food stuffs available.
Cons-:
1) Very expensive
2) Not the tastiest vegan food I've had
3) I hated the sight of their kitchen. I feel they should close that window which exposes the kitchen.
Will I come here again? I can come here a million more times specifically for the vegan ice cream which is the best vegan ice cream I've ever had. Cheers to these folks to promote cruelty free food.
Lovely little place recommended by a number of friends that I’ve been meaning to try for some time. We had a chocolate milkshake, kombucha, Kheema croquettes and the ridge gourd pizza. Love the pizza - had it with cheddar instead of mozzarella because my wife had some concerns about unpasteurised cheeses in pregnancy - lovely thin base and clean flavours that allow the ingredients to shine! Will definitely be back to try other items on the menu & the ridge gourd pizza is already a firm favourite.
Would be great to have the option of pasteurised dairy though for those who have dietary restrictions such as in pregnancy.
Charming restaurant that serves farm to table food! Tried the bisibelebath, brinjal chat and the kombucha. The dishes had a balanced flavour and we liked it . Their store has some goodies - fresh spices, soaps, oils and much more!
Absolutely love the food here! Healthy and tasty! One of my favourites is the Pizza and the gluten free brownie. Highly recommend the place.
Amazing food made of healthy ingredients and super fresh vegetables. Even the side salad is so tasty because of the quality of vegetables used. My favorite is the pizza with pesto base with lot of amaranth and vegetables. Add prawn as topping and it gets even yummier. Never imagined pizza can be so healthy and yummy at the same time. Soups and other items are also equally good. Highly recommend this place. 👍
A great place to be, won’t find a place which promotes health, wellness and sustainability together. Vegan friendly options available and a decent collection of books to read. The staff is friendly. All in all a homely and warm place to relax. Cheers!
I love the plàce and what it stands for. The food is to die for... And it's someplace I would go to or take someone to if I want to showcase what my true personality is.
Great work guys keep up the good work.
Hidden in the bylanes of Jubilee Hills, this place is a true gem for organic food. They also sell various ingredients.
Perfect place for a cheat meal day
Ordered Bise bele bath, Burrito bowl and paneer steak for main course
The bise bele bath was extremely tasty with oodles of ghee, though the serving size could have been slightly bigger. The burrito bowl and paneer steak were very good as well with good serving sizes. We took the cinnamon ice cream for dessert - it was just the right amount of cinnamon - lots of flavor but not overwhelming
All in all, really liked the place
Very healthy, tasty, non spicy food. Enjoyed every bite. All the food is cooked from the veggies and fruits they grow themselves. This place is worth visiting.
A truly authentic farm-to-table eatery! The only one in Hyderabad. The freshness of the ingredients truly shines through in the food!
Recommend the nachos with mixed green hummus bisebeli bath, margherita pizza, coffee ice cream and brown butter almond cake.
The staff is polite and friendly, lending a homely atmosphere to the place. The air conditioned dining area is great for the hot Hyderabadi summer, but the airy outdoor seating is my preferred choice when the weather is good.
I’ve been a buyer of their kombucha for a while now and am excited to note that they now have new flavours as well. Good, fresh cheese on order - the feta is especially good.
Love the store and the fact that they sell staples - grains and pulses in bulk.
5 stars!
One of the best places i have ever had food in .
I coudnt have possibly thought of having ridge gourd pizza which sounds weird but was too tasty and healthy. The desserts were really good ..the best being the coconut ice cream. In a nutshell its an amazing place to hangout and have a peaceful time with healthy food !!
I just don't have words to describe this place...Their pizzas r to die for...Most healthy pizzas...Every time I've a pizza craving I go this place..I recently had their Nachos with Hummus....wowwww just amazing...Pizzas as usual were yummy....Totally love their concept of sustainability....Kudos to the team
Me and my husband are die hard fans of this place .... Pizzas here’s are to die for ... especially the the Cauliflower base pizza and the most amazing of all the ridge gourd pizza ... I never knew someone cud make a pizza out of ridge gourd ... Kudos to the management ... keep up the good work going ...
Loved their Bisibele Bath and Pesto base Pizza (yum!!!). Very hospitable staff. Delicious and healthy food, what better combination would you need?
This was my first visit after the cafe's move to a new home in a new corner of Jubilee Hills. I liked the new clean decor, still no AC but with fans and the breeze its good a for quiet morning breakfast. The food we were warned may take a bit of time to come around so we started with a Honey Basil Kombucha - which is a must try, its the most authentic kombucha I have had in town and certainly better the packaged bottled stuff thats doing the rounds in some of the gourmet stores right now. Along with the kombucha came the Nachos with spinach hummus - which I have to say had the consistency and taste of guacamole more than any kind of hummus, but the nachos are fresh and are also available for sale in the organic store. Next up was the Thai salad with Peanuts - and boy did it have peanuts! I like that they didn't resort to putting tofu or paneer as veggie protein in the dish - the "eat healthy, eat local" activists would be proud. While it was tasty and I do like peanuts, next time I would ask them to divvy up the peanuts and leave half of them out as an optional side. Fourth on the list were the raggi dosas with a spicy peanut podi and sambar which was really good, different from the regular tiffin center sambar. Last but the most surprising find was the ice-cream topping- salted caramel ice cream which comes with a jaggery cookie crumble to die for! The crumble absolutely made the ice cream and I any flavour you chose would be amazing as long as it has the crumble.
Overall its a good quiet place to hangout and have healthy food with good vegan options.
A quaint cafe that transports you out of the city! We really are a fan of their concept farm to table. The food is freshly prepared and is really aromatic. We started with a honey and basil kombucha - a probiotic drink. It did take a while for my pallete to get used to the acquired taste. I diluted it with water and kept on drinking it throughout the meal. It was quite refreshing. For starters we ordered pita and dip. The pita was made of whole wheat and was served to us with 5 different delicious dips. I totally loved it. We also ordered canneloni chicken pasta that was so yum that it got finished in minutes! Along with this we ordered a burrito bowl that was brown rice with 3 beans served with some 4 sauces including green hummus that tasted like guacamole! It was an absolutely healthy and fresh meal. And once we were done with eating we also bought fresh farm veggies! We are absolutely going back again soon! :)
This place is absolutely amazing. They healthy food especially the desserts are to die for! Anyone craving for some good food and still want to be healthy should definitely check this place out.
I have been here after knowing that this place serves fresh food (as they say farm to table).
It was absolutely just like they say!
Fresh, Rich and Delicious.
I seriously eajoyed eating fresh and healthy food.
We have ordered bisibilibath, burrito bowl and almond brown butter cake with mint icecream.
- Bisibilibath tasted really yummy
- burrito bowl was completely with fresh vegetables and very instgramble.
- Almond brown butter cake was good and mint ice-creams also tasted good but some where I felt like eating frozen sugary milk with the combination of egg and mint. The icecream wasn't smooth or soft and it was like shaved ice. I could feel lot of eggy which spoilt my good feeling of having a great meal! 😞
I somewhere feel the quantity is very less for the amount they charge. (maybe they use fresh vegetables but expecting little more quantity just to provide good quality of the food affordable for middle class families too)
When it come to interior, it was pretty normal and hardly can get a table on weekends as it has very small sitting area as of now and it was very difficult to find the location as it was shifting to road numbers 62, plot no 1272.
Actually rating would be 3⭐ but Just to prompt healthy food joint, my rating is 4⭐
Oh my god...
What amazing food. Who knew healthy and good for you food can be so crazy yum.
Definitely recommend every bit of it and what a homely place. Feels like your eating food at home, so comfy n good feeling it your tummy.
Will visit again n again for sure.
Wonderful food. Love having vegan options. Great atmosphere. Wish they come under food delivery service soon. Almost checking daily for the service.
Sage is a lovely organic restaurant that keeps upping its game. I practically had lunch there everyday for two months straight, last year. Even now, every time I’m there they have something new and innovative on the menu. As a vegan, I’m happy to say that Sage is one of the few vegan friendly places I can safely eat at. I absolutely love love LOVE their artisanal fusion pizzas and they’re a must try especially for the adventurous.
9Tried this place with my family today. We wanted to have something healthy and this place did not disappoint. We had water melon juice and it tasted really fresh. We had the hummus pizza with a ragi base and it tasted good , however the ragi base was a little hard. The burrito bowl was super yummy and fresh and had guacomole after a really long time. Guacomole tasted splendid. It is a little pricey though.. However great health food.
I have been ordering fruits & honey from Sage for over a year now, always love their produce. Visited the cafe for the first time this week & was bowled over by the food. Tried the coffee & coconut milkshake & it was YUM followed by the nachos & 5 dips as a starter, the chickpeas salad & veg pizza. All were fresh & exploding with flavor.. Finally wrapped up the earliest with the application pie & banana & peanut parfait, let's just say I was in a food coma for the rest of the day. What a meal!
The healthy and tasty food won't make you feel like you've cheated on your diet... Even if you have the desserts. Three ingredients mostly come from their own farms and even the non veg items are farm raised.
It's tucked away in a corner so it's relatively free of city noises but no ac means that summer time lunches will be a bit uncomfortable.
Tried everything from the salad and soups to pizza and desserts. Everything is recommended
This place should definitely be in checklist of every foodie. The fresh farm & organic food taste good with ambiance.I would love to visit often
I won’t lie...I’m totally biased when a restaurant is Farm to Table. This is what we need for sustainability and definitely not mindless food binging solely for the purpose of gratification. The best part is...SAGE farm cafe serves delicious food. It’s fresh and wholesome. Went there for breakfast and they served us the best ragi dosa (I’ve ever had). Jowar oats upma was good too. Wheatgrass and turmeric tea with coconut biscuits to go with our breakfast. Nice Kombucha too. Will go there for lunch next time!
One of the best in twin cities to get organic healthy food. It got a decent ambience. I had protein punch it got a different taste actually. Service was up to the mark. Thank you Ravi Mantha.
This is a very nice place with a pleasant ambiance when I have visited this place it was raining, had a seat outdoor. The food was served hot. Most of the ingredients in the food served here are from their own farms which are organic. And the food is cooked right after you place the order. Am not a fan of lemonade, my friend ordered ginger lemonade with was really good. Mega margarita this is made of wheat flour a thin crust pizza so desi flavour must try. Egg on pizza was okay didn’t like at first but it tasted good after few bites. One more must try dish is natu kodi lasagna this blew my mouth never thought natukodi is so finely cooked.
I will call it a guilt free cafe as you will not hve any regrets after eating here. They offer a wide range of food with organic healthy ingredients.
I had eggs on pizza, it was quite interesting and different with sugar cane ginger juice.
They also have farm fresh fruits and vegetables for sale along with other grocery items.

+5
I often look for food that is in its original state and their salads are just that ✌🏼. My Gluten free Ragi base pizza was really good! Plenty vegan options & the food is just vibrant & full of life!
Only wish you guys were open for dinner. :)
I went to Sage Farm Cafe with my daughter today for the first time. I'm super impressed with the food, ambiance, staff and the couple who owns it: a farmer and a chef, perfect combination! Amazing, healthy food, warm people, lovely view, with a bonus healing session: my back feels better. I love that they have their own farm which makes their dishes all organic and fresh! We had Mega Margarita Pizza, Stir Fry Noodles with mushroom and chicken and Muskmelon juice, my daughter got 3 glasses! I was surprised that even the mozzarella cheese on Margarita is from their own buffalo! I hope you expand your business and have more branches in Hyderabad and in different locations too! Thank you so much :)
This place is as Organic as the produce & the food served here. Went for an afternoon lunch on a weekday, only to come out refreshed both by the food & ambience. & the service deserves a special mention as kavitha who owns the place, is also the chef here, with her personal attention makes sure ur having a great time. The place lives up to its name & is a breath of fresh air amidst a busy jubilee hills street.
writing this review after coupe of visits.....
first impression, basic interiors, no air conditioning, open kitchen and everything organic.
coming to the food,
tried Komucha - didnt like it.
Mexican hot chocolate was very good.
Protein punch salad was amazing - must try
Pesarattu salad was good.
Mega Margarita pizza with chicken (natukodi) was very good - must try
Ridge gourd & chilli pizza was good too - must try
Gluten free bowl with chicken was to die for - the BEST and a MUST try
Limited choice, but what ever is available is very good, not sure if i would go back 3 times a week as the menu is limited.
No issues with service, well taken care.
I went to this place last week for brunch. This is one of the unique places is Hyderabad which serves food with in-house freshly grown produce..and boy! You can taste the difference.
We ordered a bunch of stuff- Go-Green Salad, two pizzas (one with the cauliflower base on request), bisibele bhat and ragi waffles. I am not exaggerating when I say everything was extremely tasty and fresh.
What adds to a tasty food, is the amazing service and hospitality. Kavita was very polite and patient. She explained each and every dish to us with passion and also gave us great recommendations. Slightly heavy on pocket, but the freshness and taste of food justifies it.
Great food, organic and FRESH.Really yummy....I don’t want to single out a dish but all the dishes I have had are really tasty and delicious. The pizza needs a special mention and is to die for....Everything served is cooked and prepared in-house including the mozzarella cheese,Tomato ketchup, pickles,Mayo, ice cream, choclate sauce etc.
Iv only tried the lunch, looking forward to a breakfast visit and Iv heard only good things about the food served for breakfast!!! There are many board games and books to keep u entertained. The host Kavitha is such a wonderful person and makes you feel absolutely at home :)
Places like this need to do well so that more people can take such initiatives to open more such places and give hyderabadis real good food 😍😍😍
Sage does what I wanted all along, making organic interesting and tempting, not the routine boring health food. You can literally eat off the plants on their farm as they use no chemicals or pesticides. The taste of the food is something else...absolutely fresh ingredients, especially the leafy vegetables...keep up the good work guys
Great place, Kavi you are the best cook in the world, the best delicious authentic organic as well as healthy food, one can ever have, wish I lived in Hyderabad, miss the food, 😋😀
Awesome salad n pizza with coffee. Very skilfull staff! Enjoyed the usp of restaurant - probiotic drink...everything's farm fresh. Truly enjoyed the place!
Kavitha mantha ( chief curator) & Team of sage farm organics have immense knowledge on what is being done here. They also have an outlet in the same place where in you can buy organic products cultivated in their farm.
Coming to the food, great food for those with healthy diet. Liked the concept of farm to table. The service was great. Ample parking.
Great team! 👍
The best place for organic and healthy food which is absolutely tasty and delicious!
The daily salads and healthy pizza are the best. They also do home delivery.
The only farm to table restaurant in Hyderabad!
I’ve been to SAGE a couple of times and I love the food here especially because everything is organic and fresh. They tweak their menu daily based on the produce that arrives each day.
But they also have a few regulars on the menu. These are a few things that I’ve tried:
Soups:
1. Chicken soup.
2. Tomato soup.
3. Cabbage and coriander soup. (My all time favourite).
Drinks:
1. Kombucha.
2. Ginger and lime.
Salad:
1. Spicy Thai salad with fish.
Pizzas and burger:
1. Mega margarita.
2. Going green pizza.
3. Burger and mash - the only thing that was a little disappointing. Although the idea is amazing. ( to mash bun/bread and make patties). There was a little too much of beet root in it.
Dessert:
1. Ragi cake with ice cream. - tastes amazing with caramel that comes along with it.
I loved everything that I’ve tried. They’re all so fresh and tasty that you just want to go back there every time you crave for a salad or a soup. The pizzas are amazing too, with the whole wheat thin crust, the in house made cheese, organic veggies and sauces. The place is cute too with old style furniture that’s simple and to the point. It’s generally very peaceful and quite so I like sitting here for hours together. They have a good collection of books and board games as well.
I would definitely recommend this place to people especially if you love veggies, salads, soups, juices and other healthy drinks and food.
Good food that is healthy and light. The menu isn't too diverse but you get what you want. The desserts here are a must try. Do ask for the chefs specials.
Healthy and safe food that is grown very close to the city and prepared in a kitchen like atmosphere. Good to see the local greens being used creatively.
The only organic farm to table restaurant in Hyderabad. Excellent home-made food, soups salads, pizzas, desserts...but don't expect biryani here. Also great omelettes and ragi dosas for breakfast.
Tucked away from the bustle of road #45’s many food outlets and providing a much needed healthy alternative to the area, Sage Farm Cafe sits perched on a lil hill ready to drop pleasure bombs on your taste bud.
Lunch here is a joy. Bring your book along, your friends & family too. This uncluttered space filled with daylight and goodness, is made for extended lunches.
The menu offers soup, salad, pasta, desserts and beverages. The produce comes from community supported agriculture. Their own farms and a few other farmers they collaborate with. This direct connection of farm to table accounting for the name and most of the superb taste.
My favourites from the menu are the Thai salad and protein punch salad. Fresh leaves giving the salads a crisp bite and all the vegetables, cheese, oils and seasoning offering a textural play, that is both pure and well balanced.
The chicken soup, the tomato soup and ridge gourd soup are my picks. All of them having that warm hug-in-a-mug quality that you look for in a soup. The broths are rich & creamy without being heavy.
The coffee a light brew made for afternoons and post lunch pairing with desserts.
The portion sizes across the board is designed for appetite. The flavours, the absolute marvel of flavours is what sets Sage Farm Cafe apart.Simple fresh ingredients remain the focus, never overtaken by seasoning, oils and whatnot.
This is the sort of food I want to eat most of the time. The sort of food I hope to cook someday.
Wholesome goodness that nourishes your body and intoxicates your taste buds.
Thoughtful, delicious, fantastic food, and hosts who care about the food they deliver
Every single element of the meal we ate was delicious, well-thought out, and incredibly fresh
Guilt free amazing tasty stuff, try their pizzas and raagi chocolate cake, they make every dish fresh wholeheartedly just like how someone cooks at home
Food that reminds you of your grandmother's cooking, and the guarantee that you're leaving with a healthy and happy stomach, despite feeling so indulged. It can only happen here.
The only farm to table organic cafe in Hyderabad. Amazing home made pizzas, salads, soups . The freshness in the veggies is a highlight. They also use free range eggs and country chickens. This place is part of Sage Organics which does wonderful locally grown organic vegetables and they deliver too. I am a regular and love it .
Great food and a great host! Absolutely loved the pizza and salad - fresh, organic and wholesome. Perfect soul food. Can't wait to go back and try more things on the menu!
