Nice buffet spread. Had sweet corn soup and tomato ka shorba followed by starters. Gobhi chilli was really nice. Then main course spread - as it was pure veg restaurant we were all relaxed and ate to our hearts contend. In main course all curries had usually paneer in it except a few. sham savera kofta was really soft and succelent. May have been bit pricy going by their original buffet price 500+tax but as we had dineout offers so it was all good.
Me and my wife ordered food through swiggy from this place just now! Food was fantastic decent pricing with decent packing overall experience was good I wanna try one more time Keep it up.
Hospitable service, great food (almost), good ambience, good value for money.
Detailed review:
Went over with my folks for the lunch buffet on Tuesday.
The standard of food quality maintained here is on another level.
A special mention for
-Paneer tikka starter- The paneer was incredibly soft and flavorful
-Malai kofta- The koftas tasted like what I would imagine a cloud would feel like
-Dahi balla- A treat for the palate and eyes
- The bengali sweets
- Veg Alfredo pasta- this item tasted divine
The NOT SO GOOD items were
- The pani puri and chaat
- pav bhaaji (The bhaaji had overpowering taste of tomatoes and it was all I could taste)
- Sambar
- White rice (became too dry owing to the constant heat)
Overall
Service- 5/5 (courteous thought they failed to refill the entrees on the counter for a long time )
Food - 4/5
Value for money- 5/5
One of the best place for vegetarians.. we had chat and we had thali which was amazing.. gulab jamun was very tasty, which is a must try.. Service is also good.. you have got many options to try out in the menu.. A place to visit again and again.. good job team 🙂🤘
What a great place it is. It was like a hidden gems for me. I was just passing by this place and decided to go for this place. Ordered burgers , papdi chat, paneer chili, and for the first time ever in hyderabad i ordered sambar rice in any resturant. And the taste was too flavourful. We ordered one cake as well that was also very delish. Ambience is very nice , its very spacious and free. The price was worth the food.
Price - 5/5
Ambience - 5/5
Food - 5/5
Been for Alacarte... Ordered Kadai Paneer, Garlic Naan and Tandoori Roti... Excellent Taste... but Cost is bit high... I recommend it for Veggies
Perfect service n good Food. Staff is friendly and helpful. Could rate 5 star plus if the seating chairs are a bit more comfortable. Additionally they can get some baby chairs also for guest comfort. Food quality is something you can get tempted to visit this place more than once. We also asked for Jain food and the staff was more than willing to go one step ahead. Been there many times by now and everytime made visit again. Plz keep up this great work.
One of the best places to have a vegetarian fine dine experience whether you prefer a buffet or ala carte. The staff is very friendly and prompt to service. Food is amazing whether it's starters or main course or be desserts with lots of choices.
The most veggie friendly buffet restaurants suitable for all age groups. The buffet menu is extensive with a wide range of options. One of my favourite places to have a good heavy buffet on a growling stomach.
The chaat counters, snack items, tiffens , south and north indian delights are also great.
Visited this place quite often .
Very decent place for vegetarian lovers. We had Veg Buffet which are very good in quality. We loved the staters there. Weather it could be Gobi, panner or 🌽 everything is delicious. The Rotiwere very soft and rich. The service was also good. We enjoyed being here.
very good option for vegetarian. chola batura & chats are very nice. good portions on some dishes for the price. got wonderful desserts, should try namkeen too.
It was a special day and we were looking for veg options. Read some beautiful reviews about this place. Been here around 2pm and the place was almost empty. The Ambience was great and the wait staff welcomed us with smile. The spread of buffet was wide and tasty. This is definitely a great choice for vegans.
Will revist :)
And I am totally in love with this place... first thing is that it is pure veg and second is I loved the taste of each and every item i ordered... ambiance was ok not that wow but the food was just amazing....gonna visit this place soon nd try other food items as well😄
Extremely tasty food.!
We visited Hyderabad for tourism purpose and tried this restaurant for breakfast...it was very good, we were happy to visit this restaurant everyday.
I'm always hungry if it's shubavsar. Such an amazing place with delicious food. Great Service. Would totally recommend it. Always a big yes for Shubavsar. All time favourite. ❤️
Superb place for best veg food. Service is excellent. The banquet hall is well decorated and a perfect place for celebrations. Also best place for sweets.
This place was one of the best places I have ever been in life. A totally vegetarian resturant but the food is extremely good and tasty. Extremely courteous was the staff and there is a separate fast food counter as well. I tried both the foods from the fast food counter and the main resturant and they were extremely fresh. Hence I would definitely recommend this resturant to all my foodie friends out there to give it a try.
Everything here is great except the service. The service is slow and they take a bit too long to serve the food. The ambiance is great, the food is just awesome. Order anything there and you'll love it. The food is a bit over priced considering the restaurant. Zomato says it costs 600 for two people but i assure you, you'll end up spending thrice of that amount.
Very good restaurant tried both break fast and dinner buffet. Break fast IDLI and vegetable uttapam were Awesome.. don’t forget to try gulab Gulkan dessert and panner stay at was the best starter.. in buffet. I would rate over all an excellent place for Vegetarians.. Signing off Manju
Well it’s a heaven for the vegetation ppl
We went to family section nd took al cart menu
Ambience of this place is good
Food wise the quality of food is really good and taste wise they could improve
Service is bad they need to improve on services
U must try lassi for sure if u are here
Over all 4
Cheers 🍻🥂🍻
Expensive for the quality served. Not very bad but not mouth watering either.
Food is costly but not worth the taste.... Only vegetarians can give a try..... Allu chat not good at all 🙄🙄 and sweets are quite awesome 😍
I have been here with my whole family. The place is really good. Food wise it's awesome. Price wise it was expensive. But it was a good time with the family. It's quite big from inside. I mean with family you have to think like the place shouldn't be too much noisy and all. From that point of view it's a nice place and as I said earlier food is awesome.
Dish ordered : paneer majestic
A starter with too soft, melting in the mouth kinda paneer...with perfect blend of garlic and green chilli...one of the best paneer starter I have ever had...a must try...gonna visit this place again for this starter
Good ambience
Have tried buffet too...It's decent
good place to have the best mithai in town good service ambience is also good and they also have a banquet which is good for family outing it's on the main road very big place and good overall experience
The only surprise that I received when I stepped inside was that this was a PURE VEGETARIAN RESTAURANT. Since we were a bunch of colleagues, we thought of giving it a try. The ambiance is great, before you enter the dining area you get to see the Bakery products, with great variety. The staff was friendly and well behaved. The service and the timing were great. The taste was good and justified the price. Overall a great vegetarian experience ;)
Went there for lunch yesterday with my 2yo. Yep just me n my girl. I opted for buffet as ala carte would go waste . The soups spring onion clear soup and dal shorba were too good . The crispy Babu corn was my lil ones favourite. The curries and desserts were though a bit too sweet for my palate .
Shubh Avsar , like several other places now cropping up in hyderabad , is a full fledged package that serves everything from sweets to chaat , to bakery and confectionary along with the regular indian , continental and chinese . But thats where the similarities end . You will also find breads and pastries that are made in house , along with a large assortment of dehydrated fruits as well as imported chocolates .
There are also beautifully crafted baskets and ready to carry hampers that are suitable for all kinds of gifting occasions .
The chaat , especially the chole bhature and the papdi chaat are lip smacking and the arrangement of the counters as well as the display behind the cash counter are enticingly designed to keep the foodies craving .
all in all , a great place for an evening for friends and family .
Saving grace for vegetarians in a carnivorous dominant city like Hyderabad! Ambience, food, quality, quantity, service everything was great! Pricing is pretty justifiable for the experience. Only fly in the ointment being tight parking space. I had to park the vehicle a little ahead in an open space as I wasn't comfortable handing over my beloved possession to Valet guys. Though Valet guys were quite courteous and offered help. Would be great if more dessert options are available especially ice creams!! Overall 5/5
Must try veg buffet in Hyderabad
Ambinece 5/5
Staff 5/5
Food 4.5/5 ( desserts were average).
Went for lunch on saturday..paid 800 for 2 as i got 50% off in dine out app..
Roti and butter naan
4 starters
2 soups
5 curries
4 types of rice
3 types of Chats
11 types of Sweets ( average)
Unlimited 2 type juices
All the curries and starters are awesome...it is worth your money...must visit
The ambiance was good. The staff was courteous, in the sense that they listened to my requests and understood my needs. The food was sumptuous -- neither too spicy nor too bland -- perfectly matched my taste. I wish to visit this place again.
Starters and chaat iteams were very good specially Dahi Wada...I don’t like dahi Wada but it’s a must try and also the Bengali sweets are must try😋😋😋
I would recommend this restaurant. I think this is not so worth for buffet so better you go with Ala carte. The service was very good. The food we ordered was was very good, price was fair. We ordered Manchow soup (loved it),chilly paneer and veg manchuria dry as starters(both were good but little sweetist) and coming to main course we ordered for five jewel fried rice(The taste was really awesome) the quantity of the food is also good. The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We hardly go to veg restaurants but this is one of the best. The servers here are just wonderful.
Overall Food 4/5
Ambience 4/5
Staff 4/5
I had gone to this place with a group of friends out of which one was a pure vegetarian. Being in Hyderabad and in Banjara Hills this is one of the place that a pure vegetarian will truly love. They have a variety of cuisines ranging from chaats to dosas to chinese food. Their lassi is really good and their chutneys along with the dosa are amazing as well. Their veg fried rice that we tried was slightly bland. Unless you are ordering one of the sweet or chaat items their service is also slightly slow. The system that works is that you have to pay first get the receipt and then pass it onto someone else. This is an inconvenience as if you want additional items you everytime have to go pay and then wait for it. If you do happen to visit this place definitely try out their rasamalai which is absolutely worth having and decently priced as well.
Went there for my B'Day celebration with hubby and friends, we opted for alacarte had no idea they serve dinner buffet which they do. Food was damn good it was really very tasty. After my cake cutting, we ate Paneer Tikka, Rajkachori, Dalmakhni, Paneer Butter Masala, Butter Nans, Lassi, Gulab Jamun, Halwa.
Ambience is very classy, l love their interiors with fine decoration and crystal chandeliers all over.
It can be a great place to give party to your friends, boss, relatives even a romantic date due to pretty ambience. Not cheap but not very expensive as well.
The ambience is great , the food is good..
I had Paneer tikka, Pani Puri, Garlic bread with dip( Dip was the highlight) .. pav bhaji..Nice place they also have a Buffet section.
Shubavsar... one of the best place to visit... good ambience.... super spread of buffet and VFM it is... they have variety of desserts.... The service is also good.
I've been there quite a few times. A very decent restaurant . Every dish has subtle taste and nice flavoury, healthy finish. Good food and place.
I had the best time with my family. Speaking
about the buffet its really mouth watering and enjoyed the taste.. Highly recommended.. I rate the food and ambiance 4.5.
This outlet is a must visit for all the pure veggies. On entering there’s a grand collection of sweets, chaats and snacks. And going further in is this well maintained outlet with an excellent ambience. The staff are ready to help you always and well trained with the service.
The buffet is well spread and cover all possible items. The starters, served on the table with the soup are smoothly served by the staff and refilled as and when needed. The cheese balls are particularly amazing. The soup, both hot and sour and tomato are good and sets you up well.
The main course are quite a variety and every dish tastes different. The Indian breads served on the table also complements the gravies. The unlimited virgin mojito and pulpy pineapple juice is also a great feature. The breadsticks salads and chaat counters also add more to the palate.
Then comes the amazing deserts, specially the Bengali ones which will make you go crazy. The gulab jamun made out of pure ghee is one to saviour as well. Ras malai is another must have from the collection.
There’s ice cream as well. For which even my consumption capacity was well crossed to consume. There’s chocolate sauce to add on to that as well. If you’re worried about the cost, then don’t be, it’s complete VFM.
Good Ambience!
Quick Service!
Food needs lots of improvement,
Had Pani puri, masala was dry and had sprouts in it which was rawa it had only potato and sprouts. Not so exciting at all if you are chaat lover.
This is for lunch buffet on weekday
The buffet spread is decent with
Two soups
Three starters
One fresh juice
One mocktail
With some salad section
Good number of curries
Chat and Pani purrie
The best would be the panner
More than any thing in the buffet the impressive thing is the desert section, if you crave for rasagula or bengali sweets, then this will be perfect for that
The place is food court kind of setting.... They are basically a desert shop offering fresh & packaged sweets... They also offer various kind of pre packaged snacks... But this review isn't about any other mention things. First lets talk about the place... The place is neat & clean & is very spacious to accommodate decent amount of people at a time... Seating is on simple plastic chairs as you find in any food court... Now comes the food... They have a variety of things to offer chats, regional dishes etc. We ordered Masala Dosa,Shubavsar spl chaat, Plain vegetable sandwich, Pani Puri, Aloo Tikki with chutney, Jalebi & Espresso coffee... For me hero among the dishes was the chaat.... The presentation will make you go into Awww & the taste into mmmmmm.... The words will be less to make this feeling understandable to others. Coming from north India we have had many chaat experiencs but this was very different from other... Really liked it. Masala dosa & sandwich was at par.... Pani puri was just ok not spicy at all... Jalebi was nice & espresso coffee won hearts...
Overall Experience
Service- Self
Ambiance- quiet, clean & composed
Value- Definitely a must visit...
Had A Rich and soul stirring fine dine in a serenity and ambience filled restaurant ! I have had my buffet here in the Saturday and was thus charged exorbitantly , about 700/-; I personally feel that buffet isn't worth its price , but can be a 1 time go to gorge into the delicious starters , and The Bengali Desserts !! The Service deserves the best rating for assuring us that we have a royal and comfortable dine-in experience ! Summing up , all I can say is Shub Avsar can be a must visit to relinquish the tasty starters like malai paneer etc which were delightful !

One of mine and my family's most favourite place. Almost every time we feel like having chat or chole bathure we visit the place. We have visited this place more than around ten times. We never get bored of the place. When your stomach is craving for some good chat visit Shubavsar without any second thoughts!!
I and my family had been here almost 2 months ago. Almost all the items were good except deserts. The desert varieties were less. Ice cream was not available at the buffet spread. The server said that he will bring ice creams among the requested available flavours and we had it. I was actually waiting to visit this restaurant as I saw good reviews but I felt unsatisfied with the buffet. Before writing the review, I thought to make a second visit. Few days back, I visited alone. However this time I found the items more tasty. Desert varieties were more. Ice cream was available. Overall I had a good experience this time when compared to earlier and I am almost satisfied.
Update 2
Recently went for dinner buffet to this restaurant. The review is as follows:
Soups:
Tomato shorba was ok.
Starters:
Pander starter, veg Manchuria and corn Rikki were good. I didn't like crispy corn.
Main course:
There were good number of curries and all of there were good.
Deserts are OK.
Among fruits, I felt some cut pieces of kiwi were spoiled.
Head straight to the restaurant which is behind the sweet shop once you enter the place.
Ambience is good and staff friendly.
Had dinner buffet once and ala carte once... Both options are good.
Dinner buffet had lots of variety in starters, mains and sweets (including a Chat section)
Food is great... Paneer gravies.. Starters... Laccha paratha..
The chaat here is extremely delicious. From dahi puri to samosa ragda everything is to die for.
There is not one dish here that does not tingle your taste buds.
I only wish that the prices were a little low.
I went to this restaurant with family for Dinner Buffet. Ambience was pleasant and service was good. Tried pretty much all the items available on the buffet. Appetizers were very good and deserts were excellent. Rest all were just ok.
Can give it a shot. They have nice bakery and sweet shop as well.
Ambience: 4.0
Service: 4.0
Food: 3.5
Price: 3.0 (too pricey given the quality and quantity)
Well i had been to this place 2 times as of now....and buffet seems to be great...starters...shorba....and varities of dessert....liked the way hotel staff welcomed there guests....One of the neat Pure veg restaurants in hyderabad
We opted for lunch buffet.. and i must say the spread is so huge for the buffet! starters were good, the main course was so good with lots of flavours in it. The desert section was the highlight. overall a #must visit place for vegetarian food lovers. also the ambience and service is nice!

Nice place to go with family! become my favorite !
Must and Mast place to dine in do have a word with Mr Vijay Sharma(Head Chef) very friendly
Food = Excellent
Ambience = Beautiful
Service = Good
Had an amazing experience. One of the best restaurant for strictly veg food. A family restaurant. I,m so happy to find this restaurant. Even though we arrived at 3 pm for lunch, the service was still available and had an amazing time with my family.
If you're planning to have a pure vegetarian dinner in Banjara Hills, this is the place to visit. You have great varieties of starters, desserts and many more options in Main Course. There's also a food court and a sweet shop here. Almost everything is available. Worth a visit!
Service:-4.5/5

We tried the food court on for lunch on Sunday, the place is well maintained and service is nice. The food court is self service but the food once paid for is delivered to the table with other stuff such as water. We ordered for a choke bhatura, aloo tikki chaat & a mini meal of butter naan and malai kofta. The chole was authentic Delhi style in terms of taste and condiments that accompanied it. The aloo tikki chaat was bad, a complete let down and did not taste good at all. Hardly any tikki very very bland and taste less. The naan and malai kofta was good but a tad bit too bland for my palette. We also happened to pick up some chamcham and baby rasagulla both of which tasted great.
This place has a great ambiance and is perfect for family dinners. The restaurant has a great seating and offers a lot of range to select from. The outside area is a sweet shop accompanied by small chat and other sections. The inner seating is for ordering
Main course meals and having a fairly decent dining affair. We had couple of breads, paneer Curry and by mistake ordered methi Malai matar instead of methi chaman. The curry was sweet and we hated that. Our fault tho. We had biryani which was average. We also devoured a margherita pizza which was explicit. The service is appreciable and the pricing is fine.
Been there for an official gathering. The arrangement was done well with comfortable seating, buffet, mic and music arrangement.Though it serves only veg, the variety of snacks and starters was pretty impressive.Loved the chhilla, manchurian and the kebab like starter.
For the main course, paneer burji and bhendi preparation went well with the poori and naan. They were also serving veg pizza but we didn't try.
For desset, we had five varieties out of which the baked rasgulla was tasty.
Great experience
Nice ambience food service
Wonderful time with family
Had chole bhatore, masala dosa, papdi chaat and surprise northern thali with excellent overall experience
Earlier had visited for A la carte.
My food menu today included: Cheese Pav Bhaji
Pani poori,Chole bhature,Kadhi pakora and rice
Hot chocolate fudge sundae, Anjeer badam ice cream.
The menu above is a combo of pure chat based items and north indian delicacy kadhi pakora and rice. Everything tasted yummy, right from cheese pav bhaji to the kadhi pakora rice. The pav bhaji I had today was certainly the best I have had till date anywhere, and the Kadhi Pakora rice, had the typical north indian taste blended in typical spices, including kasuri methi, hing etc., and had the flavor of ghee as well.
Coming to the desert, Hot Fugde Chocolate by far is the best chocolate ice cream I have ever ate, lile the yummiest, and coming to anjeer badam icecream, it tasted yumm too with pieces of anjeer and badam in between.
On the whole a yummilicious experience.

Been here to just check the place out. We also had a banquet to attend so also had some food.
The food in the banquets was decent , a good spread but it's solely on once choice. The starters were good, a bit disappointed with the main course and desserts were good as well. Walked down had a look and got some baklava. After tasting i got to know that it only had cashew. Could be to cut down cost also was priced the same way. They had various shapes but sadly all had the same filling. I wouldn't say it was great but it was fine for the price.
We have been here yesterday.I was extremely impressed with the huge variety of veg food they had to offer. Every item in the buffet spread was worth the money. Manchow soup tasted good.we were served four starters aloo65 which was delicious , spring roll tasted average, corn Sheek kabab and malai paneer were too good. Paneer was extremely soft and yummy. There were two mocktails mango and blue , the latter tasted good.Alfredo pasta was okayish. The dahi wada and dahi papdi were too good.however I was disappointed with Pani Puri. The pani was too spicy. Coming to the main course i loved paneer butter masala, dal tadka and dal makhani. I felt the malai kofta more like a dessert than a curry , it was too sweet. Veg fried rice and Biryani were good. However the best part was the desserts. I loved their Basundi. Gulab jamun , rasgulla , chum chum rosehalwa were good too. There were four flavours of icecreams butterscotch,Kesar badam, chocolate, mango. I was full so decided to skip the icecreams.
We were served by RONI , who was very courteous and made sure we got whatever we asked for.
Overall it was a very pleasant experience .

Had come in here to give a buffet treat.
The thing that was impressive is that its got a jain buffet as well with soup,2 starters/curries,dal ideal for jains in the two holy months.Coffee chocolate icecream was lovely with good desserts. Ambience is welcoming with ample room and frames. Also, a sweethouse and designer packaging of namkeens etc for gifts.Valet available.
Dropped here for evening snacks, display was so good couldnt resist my self from ordering gud malai cup & gud rasgulla.gud malai cup a must try unique taste and then ordered veg grill sandwich and sev puri( made very neatly and taste was so damn good) plating of sandwich was very cool u never see such type.overall a very good place to hangout! Next time i need to try their buffet
A foodie doesn't miss any chances of gorging on chaat and chhola bhatura (At least me :P). What was amiss in Vizag was quenched here at Shubh Avsar.
Location: Banjara Hills and you don't have to scout for parking. They have a valet (Big plus!)
Ambience: Aromas of all dishes intermingling to arise your hunger pangs, if you're not one already!
Food: Excellent.... we had ordered Chhola Bhatura, Golgappas (Yes! Dilliwale taste), Noodles, Masal Dosa, Uttapam, Veg Grilled Sandwich for a family of 6.... Stomachs were full, but the need wasn't! Must visit for all Hyderabadi visitors!
You know what..their special is Soup.. never had such soup with amazing taste. Really tastes excellent with nice aroma. As it's famous for vegetarian items, had one veg paneer starter and gobi as well. Ambience is too good , though Buffet was available, we went for a LA carte. Nice to hangout with family and friends. Veg lovers, it's the perfect restaurant for your hunger
The only surprise that I received when I stepped inside was that this was a PURE VEGETARIAN RESTAURANT. Since we were a bunch of colleagues, we thought of giving it a try. The place is a really nice option if you are looking for vegetarian buffet dining options in the Banjara Hills area of Hyderabad.
Both the spread as well as the taste of the buffet dinner that we tried were reasonably good and the service was pretty nice as well. The place also has a sweets and savouries shop attached. Overall, we had a nice experience and we would certainly not mind visiting again.
Food is nice, wide choices of sweets. Good customer service. Full marks for ambience!
A good restaurant with fine dining quality food, bakery, sweets, confectionery, bread and buns, dry fruits, soft drinks all at one place and good ambience. Quick serving is an +point here
4.5/5 Excellent ambience, prompt staff and good food quality.Prices are reasonable.Lots of options in snacks, sweets and main course.this place is heaven for north indians. Chole bhtature , chaat , hot gulab jamun etc u will find every options here.
One of the best places for vegetarian food with tasty Buffet menu. Wide range range of options in starters, main course and Desserts. For a sweet tooth this is the right place to land and never to forget is the kiwi welcome drink which is just amazing. One would crave for more and more of it.
Too good taste, awesome making, especially vegetarian it's too good making, from small item to big item make with special focus, very clean maintenance and too good facilities, staff are very nice and with love and affection they try to convince customers, wonderful feeling taste is very realistic and too natural. Quality shop
The staters were good and thw cheese tomato soup was worth it. Everyone should definitely try the Broccoli starter worth every bite.
Good taste and nice ambience. Sweet shop could be misleading.
Very tasty desserts...loved their presentation
Best arrangement ,good staff with good dealings ,neat and clean mi
really superb experience at ShubAvsar. Very tasty food, neat and clean restaurant...
Excellent pav bhaji and strawberry ice cream soda loved the place ..spacious and delicious food
This place is great for vegetarians. Good food. The snacks outside are tasty. The sweets available are also delicious. They have a good variety of Namkeens too. The main restaurant inside isn't that great. However, it seems a little expensive for an average middle class person. Ambience is also top notch.
Good food, and Ambience. Value for money
