Having placed an order million times on food delivery apps, and having visited almost all their outlets I made a visit to the original santosh dhaba after a long long time as I was nearby abids. Placed an order for 2 butter naans, 1 masala Kulcha and paneer zam zam. All the items were really good and special shout out for their overwhelming service and love for #onions despite 150 per kg hike. Butter naans were dripping butter and paneer tasted totally delicious. Was a bit put off by the chaotic crowd and the tables were setup too cramped to accommodate larger portion of guests.
Great place for nice tandoori rotis and veg curries. Ambience became better than before and service is good even now(visited this place multiple times)
Never ever Try/have Sweet lassi here and don’t spoil your taste buds after having great food.

Crisp: One of best Best vegetarian restaurant in city. Must have Veg Hyderabadi Biryani
Located in lane next to GPO in little less crowded street, Santosh Dhabha is not an easy eye cathcher but a treasure house for a foodie.
Parking is limited but you can park on street. Mostly is full on account of crowd.
Restaurant has 3 sections One as general which is really crowded. AC section which may have waiting esp on weekends and third is family section. Rates go up as the order but kitchen is same. Service also improves as per section.
I have visited this place several times. Frankly to speak they have really tasty food with optimum spice content, reasonable price and in Hyderabad a veggies delight.
Menu generally have today's special listed which gets served quickly. Remaining items you will have to wait for some time. Paneer and Manchurian are awesome do check them out as starters. Garlic naan , Butter Roti, Lacha paratha along with Korma, Panner etc will make your hunger and taste buds satisfied.
Hyderabad Biryani is my favourite here. It frankly comes in lot of colours and really deilcious. Not unlike other Hyderabadi Biryani s this one has its own unique taste. Photos below. You will be left hell high after having it. A yummy meal and perfect end for the dinner.
Do check out buttermilk after such a heavy meal.
Santosh Dhaba has lot of outlets but taste and qwality kept here is not replicated well else where. They require improvement on this front.
All said and done , it one of the best place to go for yummy veg dinner.

Good veg food, hassle free parking and reasonable price. The service was decent too as expected from a place like this. Most of their item is paneer/kaju based and theres a plethora of items to choose from. We tried paneer jamjam and stuffed naan. The naan was delicious. Loved paneer jamjam too but it was a tad spicy for me. Overall would definitely recommend.

Jus one negative thing which I think about service at Santosh Dhaba is that it seems the waiters are just trying to vacate the place as soon as the customer is done with food which creates negative perception in customers mind.

A small dhaba well maintained and quick service done here . Being a Mumbai person i went here on recommendation of my hotel staff and surprisingly it place was really amazing . Just that the non-ac part was really hot . The food is spicy for hyderabad standards and has great taste . Tasty food is what you get here most of the time. The taste isn't consistent though it is good. Its like sometimes same dish you ate on a previous visit is much better than you're having now n you feel like missing out. Dal makhani , palak paneer are too good.
One of the best Vegetarian Restaurants in this part of the area, Santosh Dhaba original was in Behumbazar where I was a regular with few changes and improvements they started in the busy food street of Abids/Ramkote. Lovely varities, quick service, and runs late in the early hours.
Although there are many branches with same names and tails such as exclusive ,premium etc Abids and Behumbazar stand out to me.
They renovated the place for families and for a better experience. I recommend to.try this place out and go for Special Manoj Bhai ka papad which is roasted in heat than oil with garnishing, regular Salad with amchoor masala.

This best dish served here is the kandhari Paneer. It's a must have. I ordered the paneer something (sorry can't recall the name) it has masala stuffed inside the paneer. They too were very tender and tasty. Finally the mardwadi gravy they called it. It was good, mooting to go crazy over. I regularly visit this restaurant and I am a fan of there veg food. Service was good and quick.

Tried their mushroom starters, it tasted just boiled and sauted in the Chinese flavour. Next came the garlic naan which was perfect and came in 4 pieces well dipped in butter. The butter naan unexpectedly failed ,it came in two small pieces and butter was less when compared to garlic butter naan. The Punjabi Kofta was perfect with extra cashews. On the whole when you love vegetarian how can you miss Santosh dhaba. Surely to be visited for some tasty and homely food.
This is the one and only restaurant where I love to have North Indian dishes. My fav hyderabadi biryani, butter naan, kaju paneer . Till today never got disappointed they always maintain same quality in food . But one thing I need to mention all the paneer gravy's more or less tastes same but sure will like the food.

I tried the Shahi Biryani - aroma of spices and garam masalas were divine.
Shahi biryani was rich in Cashews served with Mirchi ka salan and Raita.
Good quality basmati rice was used in Biryani.
Ambiance is basically fine dining - mid range

There are several other Santosh Dhaba in Hyderabad, the original one is "New Santosh Dhaba - 3" in Abids.
Tips - This restaurant is sometime very crowded over the weekends, you might have to wait for your turn to come. My advise here is to travel in off timings

I visited there in June and had some starters. The veg noodles and paneer tikka was very delicious but the real game changer was Dragon paneer and it was mind blowing. Manchurian was above average. The ambience was quite nice and family friendly and service was good. Will recommend to try the veg options specially the Dragon paneer. The parking facility is not available by the Restaurant itself however you can park by roadside.
I am coming here since 15years. Best place in the Hyderabad. Today ordered palak paneer there is less quantity of paneer. Also ordered butter milk it came as lassi mixed butter milk. Again they changed and given. This time I feel not so good.

Having food here once will not be sufficient. One night we had dinner here but still we kept craving for the food here. The taste of the food here is so so amazing and delicious. Being a vegetarian this is the best place I’ve ever had such tasty food. The handi biriyani here is the best. Seeing the menu here was so satisfying because it has so many vegetarian variety dishes. Definetly a veggie friendly restaurant. I had the day special dragon paneer or something, I didn't remember the name exactly, but, that was the awesome paneer starter I've ever had, it was spicy and juicy at the same time. Rest of all items were tasty too. Ambience was pretty decent considering the location it is situated in. Pocket friendly aswell.
