The best Hyderabadi spot!! Very authentic receipies from the old cooking books ! Very delectable and lip smacking food ! Good for the entire family!!
Alhamdulillah the food is simply awesome & the service was really nice.enjoyed my meal at Chicha's.much much appreciated.
I ordered Haleem from chicha's for the very first time, also first time ordering after the lockdown..and my taste buds were tantalized with their lip smacking Haleem! I ordered family pack, can serve up to 4-5 ppl max..total was 1050,worth every penny! Delicious.we literally had the Haleem "chicha's way" I.e. "DABAKE"😄
So I always wanted to try the hyped mutton biryani here. I did not want to risk ordering biryani and ending up disappointed with no meat which is usually the criteria of Indian Biryani restaurants so ordered the special one which is way too pricey for a biryani but I loved it as it had good meat and it was proper Shaadi wali biryani types so I loved it. Apart from that, they take a lot of time in serving. And the so called posh chicha’s family area is not so posh because it does not have space at all and our neighbors were making a lot of noise.
Also they took a lot of time in serving and the staff here wasn’t very polite and friendly as they should be.
But the special mutton biryani was amazing.
Khoobani ka meetha was average.
Hyderabadi biryani & other local specialties served in a brightly lit space with outdoor seating!
Staff: Too busy. They should allocate few more to have a relatively faster service. Ambiance: Small space for the huge crowd. Long waiting can be expected. Otherwise the walls, the art, and the setup seems interesting. Yes for the ones sitting outside, the mosquitoes will have their feast as you have yoursFood: Everything is good. the Menu is limited but the quality maintained is impressive. We had almost everything non - veg on the menu now. Marag on a weekend special is my favorite. My last visit however, they gave a incompletely cooked chicken malai kebab. We could literally taste the raw marinate. I understand the demand is quite high with huge crowd out there and we have not problem in waiting for a little more time. Please do not send people out by serving such incomplete dishes and completing their orders. Price: Owing to the consistent quality they maintain (barring my last visit incident) I think they do justify the high prices.Recommendation: Definitely worth the visit.
Any authentic mughlai food... You name it ... You get it😁 one of the best place to have mughlai across Hyderabad.. Dishes are having their individual authenticity which defines the royal flavour of hyderabad... All the dishes I ordered are delicious and royal... The dishes of mutton are unbeatable here..
Ordered items:
Mutton Shikampur ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (must try)
Mutton biriyani⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Rumali Roti and kheema masala ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
And one Goli soda🙈
If you are big fan of hyderabadi royal food then this is the place to hog on👍
And yes their innovative decor with some witty quotes are really funny and eyecandy❤️
Went there for lunch. Ordered both veg and non veg dishes. All non veg dishes are yummy, but to be frank there are no options for veg. I usually don't prefer mutton, but Just love all the mutton dishes there, its very soft. Ambiance is also good. Pattar ka gosht is very famous dish there, but unfortunately it is available only after 7.30pm. If you are a non veg lover, this is a must try place

Chicha's serves authentic hyderabadi biryani. Fragrant rice teases your taste buds before the meat melts in your mouth. This place has set a benchmark for all the biryani places around the city. A must try menu when you are in Hyderabad.
Absolutely loved the biryani. The one drawback is it was too oily. Part from that just loved the biryani. The place was decent.
Was highly recommended by a relative and worth the try. Amazing mutton masala which had koftas top rated chicken tikka it was so soft with correct blend of masala. Dawate chicken was equally amazing in taste. Few staff could be more courteous...!
Love the marag here. Pathar ka gosht is tasty. Talawa gosht could be better. I feel the quantity is quite less for the price charged. Chicken biryani was good. Apricot truffle which I heard was a must try was mediocre. The service is very slow and response upon asking for serving time is vague. I could give a 4 star to the food for quality, if not quantity but not for the serving time between orders,as it totally kills the appetite.
An excellent place to taste the biryani and kebabs. The price for the quality and quantity of food is very low. Would love to visit again to taste their other delicacies.
Place of Old City Hyderabadi Dishes in city, with Ambience of Nizami locals. Biryani and Chicken Kababs are Yummy 😋. Friendly Staff.
Food was simply Amazing. Starting with the entrance, view looks beautiful. They have options to sit in open and AC. AC is priced almost 10% higher.
Taste:
Ordered the most famous 'Tala hua Ghost'.. It taste simply delicious. It goes well with Rumali Roti. It is semi-gravy dish. Then ordered "DAAWAT-e-CHICKEN" and the taste is just Heavenly. Chicken pieces are moist, tender, delicate, evenly cooked and the gravy is finger licking. It goes well with Butter Tandoori Roti.
Next time, would like to try patthar ka ghost.
This is an Authentic Hyderabadi Restaurant.
Recently I visited here with my family for lunch. It was good ,but I felt like prices r a little high as compare to items n quantity, still food is also ok ,but more improvements can b done.n I felt like more variety of dish can also b added to menu card .
One of my favourite places for biryani in Hyderabad!
The best place for authentic Hyderabadi biryani is chichas ,located at masabtank !
I visit this restaurant specially for biryani and pathar ka gosht
We had also tried their bheja fry with roti
They serve some delicious kebabs too
They serve haleem too which is mostly loved by me and all
They have simple and neat seating arrangements with nice decor around
Do try their bheja fry , biryani and pathar ka gosh
And they have many other options on their menu for some authentic Hyderabadi and mughlai food
The service can be slow if it’s crowded
Reasonably priced
Quantity and quality comes together !
Do visit when in Hyderabad !
Superb food. Amazing taste but must say the price slightly on the higher side but you don’t mind for the quality and the taste. Well done!
Everything about the food is so good that it took me a lot of time to pick out any negative point in them but at last lost and reviewing it. Right from Starters to Shadi ka Red Chicken to Dessert is great. They also have a special Menu during Ramadan and they made yet one more reason to wait for the Holy month. The place has all sorts of ambience one can think of: street side sitting types, fine dine types and an elevated 'Hyderabadi shadi' types laad bazaar themed place to enjoy the food. Keep it up for a great place in Hyderabad
Went there to have the bheja fry but then chickened out at the last second! Had the patthar ka ghosht and talawa ghosht with rumali roti. Such great stuff - well worth the late night ride all the way from Hitech City!
Everytime The Scrumptious Dishes..
Price Is Reasonable.
Quality Is 🔥.
Quantity Is A Lil bit.
Must Try mutton.
Chicha's were Friendly.
Can Drop a ♥️ in you Date.
When you live in Hyderabad you are ought to eat it at this place. Can be a bigger place to sit and dine.
Must try - Mutton Patthar Gosht, Mutton Biriyani and Bheja fry.
been here for the 2nd time, ordered kheema masala, plain naan, chichas special chicken curry.
kheema was topped with heavy lemon juice on the top and couldn't felt the aroma of kheema, so requested to change it and they changed it immediately.
taste wise kheema was decent, chicha special chicken curry was superb and quantity should be much better, got 4-5 chicken pieces only.
over all good experience and good food 😊
Well I went to this place because it was raining heavily so the very first beautiful thing I have noticed is it's ambience. It's just wonderful. It's very beautiful place and coming to the food I enjoyed alot. I ordered veg biryani ,it was really delicious
Must Visit place for authentic Hyderabadi mutton biryani.
A hearty experience. We ordered Biryani, Haleem and Gosht Korma Nihari and everything was extremely tasty. Our first food experience in Hyderabad and it was worth it.
The first time I visited this place was like 7 years ago. Having recently returned to Hyderabad and after hearing several discouraging reviews from family & friends, I decided to try them out on my own again.
Was pleasantly surprised. Their Gulfaham was absolutely insane. I had to order again just to take some home. The rest of the dishes were all pretty good as well. They should improve their service standards though.
Oh and yeah, parking your car is a major hassle in this area.
I recently dined at Chicha's restaurant located in Masab Tank, and I must say, it was a delightful experience overall. The restaurant specializes in serving some fantastic Hyderabadi dishes, and for the most part, they hit the mark.
The standout dishes for me were definitely the Kebabs and Roghni Roti. The Kebabs were perfectly seasoned, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and it's clear that the chefs know their craft when it comes to grilling. The Roghni Roti was a great accompaniment, soft and slightly crispy, making it an excellent pairing with the kebabs.
While the Kebabs and Roghni Roti were undoubtedly impressive, I have to say that the Biryani fell slightly short of my expectations. Don't get me wrong; it was still good, but in a city known for its exceptional Biryani, I was hoping for a bit more. It lacked that distinctive Hyderabadi flair that makes Biryani in this region so famous. Nevertheless, it was flavorful and enjoyable.
If you plan to visit Chicha's, I highly recommend trying their Kebabs, Khatti Dal, and Shikampur. These dishes were definite winners and showcased the true essence of Hyderabadi cuisine.
The ambiance of the restaurant is pleasant, the service is courteous, and the prices are reasonable. Overall, Chicha's is a great place to satisfy your Hyderabadi food cravings, and I would certainly visit again for those delicious kebabs and other delightful specialties.
Have been wanting to visit this place to try out some good Hyderabadi delicacies! Glad, we did . The Mutton Biryani was amazing, and the Nalli Nihari was just Next level!! The taste was one the best till date, and portion size could have been a little more; was sufficient for us, but usually the expectation for the price would be more. Well, no criticism but the Hospitality and the service was very good. Though it’s was a takeaway, the time we spent their place was very much worth it. There’s a security guard to guide you to the parking , so parking shouldn’t be a hassle. Overall the experience was 100% awesome. Do try out their Goli sodas options!!
Also checkout their VM, with some cool Hyderabadi slang words, iykyk; well for Hyd freshers , it’s a good tutorial and for true Hydabadis they are treasures. ; yes! Btw the VM displays needs a quick cleanup though. Well, when food is good , rest all falls aside.
Trued their mutton haleem which is available every friday. Price is on the higher site but Must visit.
The taste of biryani is authentic and one of a kind. Ambience of restaurant is so chill and amazing.
The parking is uncomfortable other than that everything seems to be good.
The best place for food from kebabs to haleem to biryani.
Yes, this place cannot disappoint you with taste, proportion and service. Such friendly staff who serve with smile and heart.
Tried all of their famous dishes and they are lipsmackigly tasty.
They are serving the best HALEEM.
Also Try roghini roti and gulfaam kebab.
Definitely worth it.
Couldn't get many pics as the dishes couldn't make me wait to dig in.
I recently visited Chicha's and I have to say, the food was simply heavenly. I tried the Haleem, mutton biriyani, and double ka meetha, and my taste buds were in absolute bliss.
The Haleem was rich and flavorful, with the perfect blend of spices that left me feeling satisfied and content. The mutton biriyani was also exceptional, with tender pieces of meat and perfectly cooked rice. And let's not forget about the double ka meetha - it was the perfect ending to an already amazing meal.
I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Chicha's, as I can't wait to try out some of their other menu items. I have no doubt that they will be just as delicious as what I had this time around.
Overall, I highly recommend giving Chicha's a try. The food is simply divine and will leave your gut feeling completely satisfied.
Shikampur Kebab was 😋 😋 😋 Too good... Mutton Biryani was nice as well...
Service was lil slow due to the unavailability of staff ... Restaurant is maintained descent and can be improved for sure...
Four wheeler parking is definitely a challenge...
This is one of the wellknown restaurants in the city. Specialities is haleem, pather ka gosht, tala hua gosht (deep fried mutton). Their Biryani is tasty and not excessively spiced up unlike the Biryanis served by other restaurants. Pls note tala hua gosht is available on weekends after 7pm. Service is fast, there's no car parking. You can park only two wheelers in front of the restaurant.
