I always wants to try this place in Hyderabad because I have tried their chain branch in New delhi and Patna too. I visited this restaurant with my friends and ordered Chicken manchow soup, Tandoori Mushroom, Corn biryani, Pudina Paneer tikka, Paneer biryani, Prawn biryani, Chicken kastoori kabab. All the dishes were superb in taste. I liked their ambiance and staffing too.
Popular chain of hotels in north now to be in south. Good place, good seating place and service was good and quick. You can get best paneer taster ever here. Loved it . Definitely recommended to go.
Had ordered quite a few non veg starters and each one of them were simply amazing. Felt that the service was a bit slow and is something which they can improve upon. But the food made up for that.
I have visited this place quite a few times and the best thing is that they are very consistent with their quality of food and taste. The best part is you feel happy and satisfied after having a meal here. Do try Dal Makhani and garlic naan as it is symptoms.
Went for dinner. Food is good. Ordered tandoori aloo... It was good but they the size of potatoes were too big to eat and also you can get the spices only on outer layer of potato because of that rest of the potatoes were bland. Butter chicken 4* . Gajar ka halwa was main attraction in term of flavour.
It is the best restaurant i have ever been in life!
Please try lehsani chicken in starter and chicken lababdar with garlic naan.
It was tasty as freak!
Food is amazingly tasty. Ambience is good enough. Butter chicken and garlic naan is must try. Quality is oozing out of every dish. Will recommend to family and friends. And also wondering why the rating is only 4, that is first thought came to me and my wife’s mind after we started appreciating the taste and quality of moti mahal’s food
Kasturi Chicken and Bemisal Chicken..a must try. Butter chicken overrarted but overall awesome experience.
4.5/5 for Food
3.5/5 for Ambience
I was there couple of time in this restaurant and i am vegetarian and found good for vegetarians as well the test of the food is amazing. I cannot remember what I had ordered but food wise i had good experience
Must try stuffed mushrooms. Lights were kind of dim, that could have been better. Staff was courteous. I had veg items and liked almost all them. Also won't appreciate the ambiance as there was no music, no tv screens and no lightings.
If you are looking for North Indian food then you must try this place...we just had for lots of starters..staff is very nice and courteous....
Ambience is nice and the staff is friendly...must try kadhai panner ...very good taste. Also not very expensive altough quantity was a bit less...good place for north indians specially
This name reeks of home. It spells home in a distant land. Moti Mahal is a popular chain in the north, and are trying to make a mark now in the south. The place is all too familiar in terms of food and feel, and when the chance came, I gladly accepted their invitation for a tasting session last Sunday.
I am not going to dilly-dally about the ambience and location, but go straight to the food that warmed the heart.
The first one to be placed on the table was the classic trio of vinegar onions, pickles and green chutney. The sight of those pink, little onions is a rarity in Hyderabad, and something that is not usually served. Thus, this combination was the prologue to the meal that was about to be.
• Veg Manchow Soup 🍵 - I am not a soup person, but this one I completed without any complaints. The crispy noodles at the top gave a crunch to the liquid.
• Dahi Ke Kebab - The kababs were presented as cut pieces of a long roll, as opposed to the commonly seen diskette shape. But the flavour was so there!
• Paneer Tikka Shashlik 🍢 - The taste was a balance of the spices and the grill's charring. With the green chutney, it was delectable.
•Daal Makhni - One of the few places that gets this delicacy right. It was of proper consistency, and the type that strikes a balance between the sweetness and savoury flavour. Also, this place is sane enough to hand out bowls for to serve the Daal, unlike others where you have to explicitly ask for one.
•Paneer Birbali 👑 - The wowser of the day, this dish is their in-house speciality. The paneer pieces sandwich a dry-fruit mixture, and are put in an unorthodox gravy. You can't help but keep going back for more. MUST TRY!
•Malai Kofta 🥔 - As was expected, it was on the sweeter side, with a rich and creamy gravy. If you're a fan of the dish, you won't be disappointed.
•Bread Basket 🍞🥖 - Our basket consisted of an assortment of breads including Garlic Naan, Stuffed Kulcha, Lachha Parantha, Missi Roti. My personal picks out of the lot would be missing roti and Kulcha.
•Gulab Jamun - The meal ended on a lovely note with this dessert. Their usual serving size is of 2 piece per dish, and the size of the ball isn't too big. Served in goblet type cups, they looked and tasted elegant.
All in all, the luncheon was a hearty one, at a place that is suited for a good time with family and friends, both. They know their cuisine, and do it up well. The waiting staff is courteous and is on their toes at all times. The prices aren't atrocious either, and the place is located at a convenient spot near Nissan, Gachibowli. Bonus: Ample parking space.
They have doled out a reasonably priced buffet as well. For sure, this is a spot to fulfill your North-Indian food cravings.
P.S.: They have Chinese food as well!
Visited this place few days back with my group for lunch on Sunday afternoon. Coming to the ambiance, it was good. Lots of seating space and service was nice and quick.
Our feast was started with soup as we tried Chicken corn soup and veg manchow soup as 2 of our friends were vegetarian. Veg manchow soup was decent but chicken soup needs lot of attention.
Starters: Tandoori Chicken - This was one of the best in town, grilled to perfection with apt amount of spices. Loved it ❤️
Kastoori kebab - Malai kebab which was slight less in spices and wrapped perfectly under omlett, one suggestion here, if they make the omlett little spicy as kebab is less on it then it will be amazing. Still tastewise it was amazing.
Galawati kebab - It was decent in taste.
Paneer tikka - Paneer pieces were grilled nicely and it was nice in taste.
Dahi ke kebab - It was nice one and one of the best one in vegetarians.
Main course: Have tried most of the dishes and all of them were nice and full of cream and quite filling at the same time.
Mutton Rogan Josh - Loved it, another 🌟 dish over this place. Mutton pieces were really small and tender. It was cooked nicely and going really well with naan.
Malai Kofta - This dish was really heavy and kofta were really amazing and sweet in taste.
Butter chicken - This was also on sweet side actually it should be little.more spicy too, so lacked some spices. If added in small amount then it will be amazing because gravy was outstanding just needed some more spices.
Paneer Birbali - This was 🌟 dish in veg option. Loved it to the core.
Daal Makhni - Dal makhani was another nice dish. It is much better then other places.
Kulcha was nice in taste with good amount of filling.
Dessert: Gulab jamun was really nice in taste, it was more like a homemade one and loved it.
Overall we had a good time over here. It's a good place to have fine dining experience with friends and family. Price wise is also quite decent and not too heavy on the pocket. Will love to visit again for sure.
Must try dish 🌟
Tandoori Chicken
Kastoori Kebab
Mutton Rogan Josh
Paneer Birbali
I was here for a lunch along with my bunch of foodies for a tasting session. Moti Mahal is located behind the Nissan showroom, above Ratna deep, Gachibowli. We started off with
- Veg manchow soup: It was served hot with fried noodles and was really good in taste.
For the starters we had tried:
- Paneer Tikka Shashlik: Paneer cubes were finely marinated with spices and grilled to perfection. I loved the grilling which was the best part for me. Loved it; must try.
- Dahi k kebab: Not a lover of curd, but this turned out to be a fine dish. The form is quite different from the usual circled ones. This came in long rectangular shaped and tasted good.
For the mains we had tried:
- Dal Makhni - Overall the taste was good, I felt few spices were missing. Can be tried out.
- Paneer Birbali - This turned out be the best dish as the taste was very different than the usual paneer dishes I have tried. Must try.
- Malai Kofta - Koftas were served in white gravy topped with cashew nuts with fine layer of cream. The nature of this dish was sweet, yet, turned out to be really good.
Bread Basket - You'd get Roti, Naan, kulcha and Missi roti.
At the end, for the dessert, we had tried gulab jamun, which was soft and yummy.
Overall, the look and feel of this restaurant is average but the food is quite exquisite with prompt service.
Food: 5/5
Ambience: 3/5
Service: 5/5
The Ambience is quite good!! The staff is well Maintained , coming to food , the food is quite okayish , 2 -3 dishes stand out! If you are in gachibowli please give this place a visit.
Worth a try !!
When you have craving for North Indian food then this place will full fill your craving. Since I had craving today so I went with my friends and we ordered lots of food.
First we ordered soup which was chicken sweet corn and veg manchow both the soups were giving the best of it's taste.
Coming to starters we ordered paneer tikka shashlik which was grilled and giving it's best taste.
Dahi kabeb was good and little different what I had before.
Chicken tandoori Tikka was amazingly tasty.
Chicken kastori kabeb was something like omlete stuffed with chicken was something new and delicious.
And yes I liked the galauti kabeb they were really yummy.
Coming to main course we ordered dal makhni , paneer birbali, Malai kofta, butter chicken, mutton Rogan josh with bread basket which had all kinds of naan, kulchas and rotis. In main course all was good except butter chicken because it was way too sweet then the usual butter chicken we eat.
I must say Malai kofta and daal makhni was very creamy and delicious and best part of mutton Rogan josh was mutton was cooked completely and was soft as well as fresh.
I ordered masala coke which was very well prepared.
In desert we had gulab jamun which completed our lunch.
Overall I liked the ambiance and food even the staff was very friendly and active. This place is a must try.
Moti Mahal Delux Tandoori Trail is a chain of restaurants spread over India and abroad specializing in North Indian cuisine. The food served here is inspired by different provinces of the north and is a testimony to the culinary heritage of this country. We were invited here for a food tasting.
Soups:
Both the Veg Manchow soup and Chicken Sweetcorn soup had chunks of veggies and the chicken served was hot and flavorful.
Starters:
The lipsmacking Paneer tikka shashlik was well spiced and grilled to perfection. Dahi ke kebab were subtle, aromatic and flavorful.
The iconic Tandoori chicken tikka lived up to the hype. The chicken was juicy, succulent and was sinfully delicious. Chicken kastori kebab was covered by a coating of whisked eggs that was an absolute delight to the tastebuds. Gosht Galauti Kebab was soft, meaty, aromatic and melted in the mouth.
Main Course:
Daal Makhani was creamy in texture and had a smoky flavor to it. Paneer Birbali had panner that was made with rich cashew gravy and had superb flavor. Malai kofta consisting of paneer balls in a creamy gravy was perfectly sweet and is a must order.
The inventors of Butter chicken did not disappoint us with their signature dish and was indeed a culinary masterpiece.
Mutton Roghan Josh had boneless mutton chunks slow cooked to perfection and had complex depth of flavors.
Bread Basket consisted of Tandoori Roti, Laccha Paratha, Stuffed Paratha, Butter and Garlic Naan and Missi Roti went well with the gravies served.
Drinks:
Masala Cola had the zing of coke and the peppy flavor of chaat masala and zesty lemon.
Desert:
The Gulab jamun was a real treat to complete the meal.
"Kebab ka Mahal"
This place truly deserves the name and for what I have experienced can't really complaint. We foodies are always craving for good food no matter the cuisine and never miss to try more.
Though this place is quite old now but can still live upto its expectations set by the management. This place can get easily out of sight though its located in a prime location and thats a drawback. So watch out!!
Ambience is at par if not the best and food is what the real reason is and that went smooth. Pick any on the menu and i was not disappointed with the quality nor quantity. They add generous amounts of butter where ever possible and that adds to the overall flavour.
There are no such recommended dishes as most of them did justice but if you still insisted then "Tandoori Chicken" and "Hakka Chilli Chicken". Main course was reasonably good and had no concerns there.
But the icing on the cake was the dessert, which were basic sweets like "Gulab Jamun" and "Kulfi" but deserved a recommendation.
Verdict: A place for any occasion and any group size without costing a bomb for a casual hangout. All the best!!!
Hola guys welcome back with an other review.
Shall we begin....
Moti Mahal is a legendary place which needs no introduction with a chain of more than 100 outlets, which serves amazing indian & muglai dishes. We have been here on thrusday evng for a normal get together with our frnds. Moti Mahal is nestled on 1st floor, Millenium square building, Hi-tech cross roads.
We had started with Chicken Manchow Soup which was little bit bland of spices & chunks of chicken in it.
Later for Appetizers we had "Dahi kebab" which didn't go well, was too salty for me.
"Paneer Tikka Shashlik" paneer was soft & perfectly marinated by whole spices. "Hariyali kebab" mixture of green leafy veggies marinated well & shallow fried on a pan. It went good which will satisfy your palates.
From the Non veg Section we had "Chicken Pahadi Kabab" chicken well marinated in green veggies which was subtle in taste. "Chicken Banjara Kebab" chicken well marinated in yogurt & spice mixture, this was yumm. "Chicken Tandoori" chicken was tandoored to perfection. The chicken was juicy, spicy & tender enough. "Ghoust Galouti Kebab" minced mutton marinated with spices & shallow fried. The taste was little bit spicy for me & the kebab needs more perfection.
For the main course we had Garlic Naan, Butter Naan, Tandoori Roti with Butter Chicken, Dal Makhani, Panner Lababdar, Mutton Rogan Gosh. "Butter Chicken" this was the best & creamy dish I had ever had. "Dal Makhani" was a bit down for me, it tasted different from the regular places. "Paneer Lababdar" was yummy, creamy & gravy was thick. The panner was so.soft that it melts in your mouth. "Mutton Rogan Gosh" the gravy was thick & spicy but the mutton needs to be cooked little more.
For desserts we had Kulfi & Gulab Jamun which were good. From cocktails we had Virgin Mojito, Masala Coke, fresh lime soda, Fruit Punch.
Well this is my honest opinion on the legendary place Moti Mahal. Hope you all like it. Must try that Dino recommends are Paneer tikka Shashlik, Chicken tandoori, Banjara Chicken Kebab, Butter Chicken, Paneer Lababdar.
Do follow our Insta handle Dino for more interesting food updates..

This restaurant has really Great ambiance with outside view with little bit royal touch .
Moti mahal has great combination of lighting and comfortable seating arrangement with good and polite staff who serve in a good way and explain you about the dishes. Which make you more happy
Then we have some Mocktails Like virgin mojito, fruit punch and cola. Every mocktails was good but the most I like virgin mojito it was really good.
Then the most important things to start our dinner .
Starters:
chicken manchow soup, paneer tikka, Chicken tandoori, ,chicken pahadi, murgh banjara, dahi kebab, haryali kebab, gosht galouti kabab)
Chicken manchow soup : Chinese soup topped with chopped vegetable and soya, served with fried noodles, the taste was really nice it was perfect
Paneer tikka : It was different & unique in taste exceptional to rest found elsewhere fresh tender soft cottage cheese.
Chicken tandoori: The most dish which I loved is chicken tandoori I have try this in place but here it was to good and mouthwatering.
chicken pahadi: The name itself say it was unique in taste and as well as new dish for me here.
Dahi kebab: Dahi kebab was so soft and juicy and with the touch of dahi and present in a good way to it.
Haryali kebab: A delicious indian vegetarian snack with potatoes and green peas. These fresh greens combined with exotic spices create an amazingly irresistible dish that is delicious, aromatic and mouthwatering.
Then we moved to main course in that we order
paneer lababdar, dal makhani, butter chicken, rogan gosh .
Paneer lababdar:
This was medium spicy and creamy, the blend was nicely done! Paneer lababdar was so nice to have with garlic naan it was a perfect combination to have in a main course
Dal makhani: Dal makhani as we all know that it was quite famous in Punjab there in every home you can find this and this would be best to have with butter naan it was too good at moti mahal.
Butter Chicken: Made with fresh chicken and well marinated and soft to have with great touch of butter and cream to have it with butter naan.
Then I was planning to have some dessert then I order Kulfi and my favorite Gulab jamun
Kufi was to tasty and sweet to have but gulab jamun was so soft to have I really end my dinner with this mind-blowing dessert.
I really Thanks to manager Mr Bhaskar and the staff who serve really good. Must visit with your family and friends Moti mahal is good place for hangout

Moti Mahal Delux is a heavenly place for any Authentic Kebab Lover. Located right next to the Nissan showroom at the biodiversity park junction with ample parking space.
It was a delightful place for me personally as I am very fond of Kebabs and look forward to such places where I can enjoy their delicious flavour. I was there with my squad for dinner. We started off with Chicken Manchow Soup which was served hot and gave us a good start.
For appetizers we had Hariyali Kebab, Mutton Gosht Galouti Kebab, Tandoori Chicken, Paneer Tikka Shaslik, Chicken Pahadi Kebab, Chicken Banjara Kebab and Dahi Kebab. Hariyali Kebab, Paneer Tikka Shaslik and Dahi Kebab were the Vegetarian options with Hariyali Kebab being the better of the lot. It was soft and crisp, just how it should be. Dahi Kebab was a little disappointing as it was too salty for our liking. My favorite in the non vegetarian appetizer list were all of them, more specifically Galouti Kebab, Pahadi Kebab and Tandoori Chicken stood out. Meat was tender, soft, nicely marinated and well cooked with fabulous spices which made the Kebabs class apart.
Moving on to Main course, we had Hakka Chilli Chicken, Mutton Rogan Gosh, Butter Chicken, Paneer Lababdar, Dal Makhani, Garlic Naan, Butter Naan and Tandoori Roti. Butter Chicken was amazing with Tandoori Roti while Paneer Lababdar was cooked in a unique style and tasted quite nice. Dal Makhni was a bit bland but Rogan Gosh and Chilli Chicken more than made up for it. Rogan Gosh had big chunks of flavoursome lamb meat cooked in delicious gravy which went well with Garlic Naan.
We signed off with their best desserts which included Gulab Jamun and Kulfi. Special mention for their excellent Gulab Jamun, amazingly soft and delicious.
Ambience is good and service is super quick. A go to place for all the Kebab lovers in town. Definitely going back soon.

Moti Mahal Deluxe needs no introduction as it has very long and standing history in serving authentic Indian and mughlai cuisine.
So to start with we were served with manchow chicken soup which was good in taste , I'll say I had a lot better than this but yes this one is worth a shot.
Next comes the starter and the star of the night was the Ghost Galouti kebab , this was heaven the meat was so soft that I didn't have to chew it. Kudos to the chef here.
All the starter that were served were beyond awesome , it is quite tuff to maintain the taste and Moti restuarant are master in maintaining in it.
The main course was too good!!.
Overall it's a must visit place . I'd be returning to taste their other dishes!
#whereinhyderabad
Moti mahal-Delhi claim to fame is their "Butter Chicken" which they invented, “there was no butter chicken before Moti mahal” 😊 .So Moti Mahal is synonymous with Butter Chicken. I have eaten at their main Delhi outlet, their butter chicken is perhaps the best in India
Now coming to the Hyderabad franchisee, certainly it’s no match to the original and the taste has certainly gone down a bit as compared to the Delhi restaurant.
But that doesn't mean it's a bad restaurant either. As the saying goes "shoot for the moon and if you miss you will still be among the stars" Since they are trying to replicate “Moti mahal-Delhi” even this spin off is pretty nice.
Butter chicken here is not the best in India but still the best in Hyderabad, so if you are a butter chicken fan this is the place to go and if you are located in and around Gachibowli they are available on Swiggy too.
Kebabs and tandoori items are top notch.
Rara ghost & Lal maas, are star items in the mutton category (they are a must try)
Pricing is reasonable. Ambiance is OK nothing fancy.
Definitely this is an authentic Mughlai restaurant and if you are into Mughlai cuisine do visit them, would be a nice experience.
A place which is associated with a long history and heritage, Moti mahal deluxe needs no second thoughts when it comes to having authentic Indian and Mughlai food. The place serves some of the finest Indian food in the area of Gachibowli.
Starting with the place, the ambiance is good. The outlet has a beautiful lightning setup and fancy decors which look beautiful. As soon as you enter the place, you can feel the vibe changing pretty fast.
My food experience started with their soups. Ordered Chicken almond soup and Chicken lemon coriander soup. Their chicken almond soup was rich, thick in consistency and super mellow in flavor. Top it with a bit of fresh cracked pepper and you are good to go. The lemon coriander soup was super tasty. Loved the tangy kick of the lime which came to my palate at every sip. Really refreshing and both are a must try whenever you visit Moti Mahal.
For starters, I decided to order their most iconic Tandoori chicken along with some assorted non veg kebabs ranging from Mutton seekh kebab, Fish tikka masala, Chilli chicken etc. Their tandoori chicken is hands down the best I have had in Hyderabad. One can taste the exact flavor with the meat. The chicken was really soft and juicy. Next up, their mutton seekh kebab had a bit more of salt into it. They can improve on that department.
Their Fish tikka was super moist. Big chunks of fish were well marinated and served with a really tasty mint chutney. Must try. One of the disappointment for me was their Chilli chicken. It was not tasting like a chilli chicken and had too much salt. Needs some improvement on that.
For mains, I stick to their signature dishes. I ordered Butter chicken, Hyderabadi chicken and Dal makhani alongside Lacha parantha and Garlic nan.
First things first, their Butter chicken was divine. It was served exactly the way I anticipated it to be. Super delicious and perfectly prepared. 10/10 for the presentation as well as taste. Highly recommended. Hyderabadi chicken was again a big surprise for me. The gravy was not too spicy and had that mellow flavor to it at the same time. Accompanied by Dal makhani and the breads, it was one hearty meal.
To summarize, I loved this place. Price wise, I think it has maintained the quality of the food. Would love to visit them for their Butter chicken and Chicken almond soup anyday. Happy eating. :)
Moti Mahal with 98 years of existence and over 100 outlets comes with a history. Having heard about their delicious butter chicken and Tandoori starter; we wanted to try the food here. Butter Chicken was invented by the owner of Moti Mahal, Kundan Lal Gujral.
Moti Mahal is nestled in the first floor of Millennium Square Building, Hitech Cross Roads, Near Cyberabad Police Commisionerate . Place is decorated with beautiful interiors with a proper lighting setup. We chose a place where we can have the outside view.
We started with soup . Tried
Lemon Coriander Soup : The refreshing combination of lemon and coriander along with nutritious veggies gives you a delicious and healthy soup .
Soup was accompanied by their signature starter.
Tandoori Chicken : Soft , Juicy , delicious and flavorful grilled chicken with perfectly infused flavours of spices.was so mouthwatering. Highly recommended!!!
Non Veg Kebabs Platter : Platter contains Fish Tikka, Chicken Pahadi Kebab, Mutton Chops, Murgh Tikka, Murgh Malai Kebab). They were pretty decent.
Dahi Kebab was good!
Soup and Starters were followed by the main course .
Butter Naan : Texture was crispy and soft!
Dal Makhni : Made with lentils, red kidney beans, cream and butter, this dish is undoubtedly everyone's favorite . The best thing about this here is its creamy texture and a perfect blend of spices.. delicious, rich and creamy lentil dish If you love authentic punjabi food then you are going to love this dal makhni even more.
Butter Chicken : I had high expectations on this and undoubtedly it was upto it.!! They serve the authentic butter chicken with smooth buttery and creamy rich gravy! It is so lipsmackingly delicious. One should definitely visit this place to taste their butter chicken!
Virgin Mojito was upto the mark.
We wrapped our dinner with dessert!
Kulfi served in a bowl which was decent.
Staff were very polite. Special thanks to Menaka, who was very helpful, attentive and made sure we had best experience.
I would definitely strongly recommend this place.

A must visit place.
Last Saturday I got a chance to visit this place which helds a history.
The India-Pakistan partition forced great chefs to move to India which lead to emergence of a new culinary chapter. One such man was Kundan Lal Gujral who started Moti Mahal in 1920 in Peshawar and introduced Tandoori cuisine.
Thanks to Vivek Vardhan for the invitation here which not only comes with this history but also with great food.
To know the menu, specialities and my food experience, check my blog on it. Link in my profile.
Visited this place on friday for lunch. Ambience was good and also had ample of parking space available.
We had ordered(Veg) :
- Masala papad.
- Paneer Angara tikka
- Dahi ke kebab
- Paneer punjabi masala
- Roti n Latcha parata
- Moti mahal spl kulfi
- Tomato soup
All items tasted good. Although i felt the tomato soup could be improved and felt the curry was a bit spicy. Good starters n steward was attentive. I guess this place also offers good varieties for non-veg lovers. Overall I had a good experience. 🙂👍
One of the best places in hyderabad where you can get authentic taste of Delhi.
Great food, great service and nice decor.
A must visit if you want a place with amazing food.
Loved this place. We ordered achari chicken biryani, kali mirchi soup, sultan kabab, hyderabad chicken, butter nan and their signature dish kabab.
Food - 5
Ambience - 4

This is the second time I have visited this resturant.

Soups - 3.5 regular types nothing much to expect
Butter chicken - 4.5 must try.
Masala kulcha and garlic nan - 3.8 are one of the kind should try..
Please try to maintain the quality so that we keep vsiting here
The staff is extremely friendly. They served us well. Roti and curry were exceptional. I relished the cheese stuffed mushrooms being a non lover of mushroom. The ambience is good. I felt that its a bit expensive and paid 1.5k for a 2 ppl vegetarian food.
Love the place and have total range of North Indian dishes and really authentic taste and I feel the pricing is also reasonable ...service is good. Food quality is also very good.
Must try - Butter paneer masala
I visited this place, and I am a vegetarian.😛
Food is amazing, you might find problems regarding the place it is in. But they really serve good food. Tried tandoori mushrooms, paneer shashlik. It was Amazing!
Visited this place with family twice. Though there is nothing about the interiors aka ambience to rant about, there is enough to say about the main commodity-food. We ordered the following in 2 visits:1. Chicken sweet corn soup- tasted good.
2. Paneer sholay tikka (speciality dish for the day)-quite flavorful, soft and melting in the mouth but pricey.
3. Veg hariyali kebab-tasted good though nothing striking.
4. Tangdi kebab- worth mentioning its taste.
5. Tandoori chicken-quite tasty (feedback from family owing to my vegetarian palate)
6. Butter chicken (boneless-signature dish of moti mahal)-bread accompaniment-roti and missi roti-true to its claim of signature dish with soft, succulent chunks of chicken doused in creamy gravy with a taste that promises to linger. Relished by the family.
7. Methi chaman-my choice and thoroughly satisfied with the content laden with delicious tiny cubes of cottage cheese.
8. Dal makhani with a bread accompaniment of veg kulcha- this mix of lentils doesn’t seem to cater to my taste, with South Indian dal being significantly different in composition and taste.
9. Cola virgin mojito-refreshing leaving a slight concern about the added carbonated beverage. Once in a while, never mind. Again a pricey drink.
Service: Extremely polite staff, with the maître d'hôtel helping a lot with choice of food and able serving by the staff. On the whole an appreciable dining experience worth being remembered.
This a good restaurant. I visited with family. We had fresh lime, tandoori platter for starters. A little spicy to my taste. I have not got used to the spice so far in Hyderabad. The rotis were soft and veg biriyani delicious. It’s worth a visit.
This is a really good place to dine. The food was really good as well as the staff. The ambience is also great. We had the Malai Kofta and I must say if you love Malai Kofta then do visit this place.
One of the few places in Hyderabad where you get Galaoti Kebabs! Went for dinner, the place was not so occupied and restaurant was spacious. Staff was really friendly and humble.
Food : Though the restaurant is famous for its Butter Chicken, we went to have Galoti kebabs. Ordered kebabs and Chicken Tikka. The portions were good and the taste did not let us down. Both the dishes were tender and were cooked very well.
Overall, thumps up to the restaurant!
Staff are very friendly nature with smile on face all time food really good we had tandoorid chicken and main course chicken tikka rice and some naan ...
Amazing food. Amazing staff especially Mr Narendra. Have tasted many items.. butter chicken, Malai kofta, Dal makhni.. great.. fish is also good.. all forms. Maintains hygiene and quality. Must visit with family!
Well,me and my family went on eid day for a buffet session ,though buffet was not available ,manager arranged buffet items for us
It was a great experience , ambience was good
Chicken hot n sour soap,Chicken Pulao and gulab jamuns are not up to to mark, apart from that everything was good
Tasty food and appropriate quantity... Never been disappointed
The food is tasteful and with the North Indian flavours. We had the MM special butter chicken and the Dal makhani. Both the dishes were in harmony with the taste buds. Overall a good family experience and will recommend it to my friends.
Visited this restaurant for team lunch, total 8 members, reached there by 12:30 and the place was deserted.
Theme was pleasant and menu card was interesting.
Ordered starters both chicken and veg, along with soups and masala papad (suggested by restaurant). All of them were good, stuffed mushroom was amazing and a must try.
Dont even think about going any soup other than tomato shorba, it is the best here.
Among main course, tried egg biryani and few veg and non veg gravies accompanied with rotis and naans. Each of them were yummy. Ambiance will stand above the food, but service is unbearably slow.
There were hardly 2 or 3 tables occupies, but they were taking minimum 20 minutes to bring each item that we have ordered.
Overall it is worth a visit, especially for those kebabs.
Ambiance (3/5):
A nice north Indian food joint located at a prime location near bio-diversity signal. Spacious place with not so fancy decor. However, Sofas cushion were broken. Light Bollywood songs in background made it a decent place to catch up with friends.
Food(4/5):
Sliced onion, pickle and green chutney were complimentary. We opted curry from Today's special.
Methi Malai Mutter: Seasonal curry. It has slightly sweet gravy.
Paneer Lazeez : Paneer was properly roasted, less spicy with cashew gravy.
Butter Roti: Hot crisp tandoori roti fresh from the Tandoor and properly
Value for Money (3.5/5):
Appropriately priced. For above items 800.
Went there on the occasion of Eid and great food from here just added to the festivity.
I have ordered:
Afghani murgh : This was really creamy, flavours were subtle but really very delicious.
Rarra mutton: The taste was really different unlike the normal curries. Mutton was cooked to perfection . Highly recommended.
Khasta roti: This was a true gem. The crisp roti has Semolina and ajwain in it and is slightly sweet in taste. But the combination of spicy mutton and slightly sweet roti was yum.
Service was quick and everything was served piping hot.A very satisfactory meal.Would come again to try other delicacies.
Excellent. Taste is always consistent

With a delightful ambience that's easily on the premium level and a greatly satisfying variety of food, Moti Mahal is an amazing package! We had visited the place the day before yesterday, welcomed by the manager Mr. Bhaskar and served graciously by Mr. Rupesh.
We started off with Tomato Dhaniya Shorba, a royal delicacy of the Indian Maharajas. Served piping hot, this shorba combines the goodness of tomatoes and coriander. Balanced tanginess of the tomatoes and rich Indian flavours make this soup a must try. Next we had a series of kebabs, Haryali (veg.), Fish and Mutton, all of which were great and absolutely delicious. Next the Paneer Tiranga Colour was soft and flavourful. Tandoori Chicken was the show stopper, perfectly done! Dahi ke shole was something completely different, a little tangy in it's flavour. Stuffed mushrooms were elegant appetizers. And lastly, Chilli Prawns. Moist with an amazing taste and full of spices.
The drinks we had were a variety; Blue Hawaiian, Mango Tango, Shangri-La, Aam Panna & Cola Virgin Mojito. All of them were amazing, each very different from the other. Some sweet, others tangy. The Virgin Mojito when served was quite warm, so we had to recorder to get a cool one.
In the main course we had Dal Makhani, Paneer Punjabi and Mutton Rara. Dal Makhani was very tasty, loved it and would definitely recommend. Paneer Punjabi is a good vegetarian option with a spicy, thick gravy and large cubes of paneer, just incredible. Rarha Mutton was phenomenal. Perfect spices and a heavenly taste. It's basically minced meat in a rich gravy. Fabulous!
We had an overall lovely dinner experience. Looking forward to visiting again.
Food: 5
Service: 4.5
Ambience: 4
Value for money: 5
Nice place serving north Indian food. I have been there several times in Delhi and the Hyderabad outlet gave the same feel. For starters, we ordered tomato coriander soup, which was a littler thicker than expected but was great in taste and flavour. The harilyali kebabs were crisp, hot and very good. Paneer Tiranga had three flavours in the tricolour. The white and green sections were somewhat okay, but the orange (achari paneer tikka) was the highlight. Dahi ke sholay was good. And the suffed mushrooms were stuffed with paneer instead of cheese and fried which made it all the more delicious.
Coming to. Main Course we ordered dal makhni, which is a standard dish but was very well prepared and a must recommend and paneer masala, which had a thick gravy. It was on the spicy side, but very good.
Overall a nice experience, with courteous staff and appealing ambience.
Moti Mahal is one of the very old food branches serving North Indian food. Ambiance is given royal touch. Seating area is beautiful.
We tried:
Tomato coriander soup: By the looks it didn't look that appetizing, but it tasted great. Coriander was giving great flavor.
Fish tikka: Loved the fish tikka. Normal spicy. Fish tasted fresh.
Hariyali kebab: This was also great. Made very nicely, crispy from outside and soft from the inside, loved it.
Mutton roll: Spicy and tasty. I am not really fond of eating Mutton, but it was really good.
Paneer Tiranga tikka: It was okay.
Tandoori Chicken: Very juicy and spicy. Pieces were quite big. Loved it.
Dahi ke sholey: This was a unique dish. I never found such dish anywhere else. And it tasted great too.
Chili prawns: Taste was okay. It had no spice.
Stuffed Mushrooms: The Mushrooms were stuffed with Paneer bhurji, North Indian style. Not with cheese. And tasted pretty good.
Coming to main course:
Mutton gravy (karara meet): Really good. It was basically shredded meat in gravy.
Butter chicken: Good.
Dal makhani: Very tasty. Loved it. Recommended.
Paneer masala: Big pieces of Paneer. Gravy was also tasty spicy and thick. Good vegetarian option.
A special mention to hospitality of manager Bhaskar and the server Rupesh. :)
Nice place with good ambience. Food was nice. We ordered:
Dal Makhni: Lived to the true punjabi style.
Garlic Naan: Crisp and had the apt amount of garlic. Loved it.
Paneer Masala: In my four years in Hyderabad, this is the most unique paneer dish had. Quite liked it.
Came here for lunch, ambience is good and so is the food and service, the waiter gave correct description when asked about a particular food item. Will definitely visit again.
Today , we had lunch along with my family as today we have Indian world cup match we finished our lunch very quickly. To my surprise the please is awesome. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian will have plenty options. We had barbecues for vegetarians had the mushroom, paneer, potato and, for non vegetarians we have fish barbecue prawns barbecue chicken barbecue mutton seekh.
You should definitely try to sort of non vegetable salad that I have posted in the link. Don't forget to taste Biryani some here whether these chicken biryani or vegetable biryani its awesome. Non vegetarian currency I love the fish curry and mutton rogan josh.
We went there for team lunch, The ambience is very good. 1st floor barbeque and 2nd dine-in.All the items are very tasty, i liked the veg platter. Very good service. It is located The Platina building very near to Artium Mall,DLF road and on the way to AMB. We booked through swiggy where we got a 20% discount on the bill.
Firstly the restaurant has two options to have one is buffet and the other one is normal restaurant typo option which is located in upper floor... Just try visiting this place the staff are very generous and the food is very very tasty.. Biryani is a must try and they do offer payments via multiple modes check for there offers in different platforms as well. Best place for family and friends. There desserts arw a must try ✌
Moti Mahal has a history, I used to visit this place some 30 years ago - the only good place that was available at that time in Gurgaon, or old gurgaon as one will call it - and I must say, it reminded me of the memories, the taste of the food is still amazing, excellent service, excellent ambience. Now, chinese is also served, which was not the case earlier, but, must visit. This has 3 floors, first two floors are with barbeque, I preferred the delux one for old times sake. A must visit for foodies
The place is good. Mostly families visit. Starters are good. I found the main course a bit boring. The masala was a bit different for me. Desserts are the best. I have been to places like globe grub, flechazo, ohri sahab barbeque amongst all of them, this place is better.
When it comes to dining out, ambiance often sets the stage for a memorable experience. At Moti Mahel Delex in Hyderabad, the ambiance is undoubtedly the star of the show, immersing diners in a regal era. However, this grandeur doesn't fully extend to their cuisine, particularly if you have a penchant for spiciness.
Ambiance (★★★★★):
From the moment you step inside Moti Mahel Delex, you'll be transported to a world of opulence and majesty. The decor is rich with intricate details, graceful chandeliers, and sumptuous seating arrangements, crafting an atmosphere fit for royalty. Be it a romantic rendezvous or a celebratory gathering, the ambiance alone is guaranteed to make you feel truly special.
Service (★★★★☆):
The service at Moti Mahel Delex is characterized by politeness and attentiveness. The staff makes genuine efforts to ensure your dining experience is comfortable and enjoyable. However, during peak hours, the pace of service can be a tad sluggish, so it's wise to secure reservations in advance to avoid extended wait times.
Food (★★★★☆):
Let's delve into the culinary aspect, where Moti Mahel Delex faces some challenges in matching the brilliance of its ambiance. Despite offering a diverse range of Indian dishes, we found the spice levels to be lacking, especially for those who relish the robust and authentic flavors of Indian cuisine. If you're seeking fiery curries and intense tastes, you might leave somewhat disappointed.
Our selection included classic dishes like butter chicken and paneer tikka. While the presentation was exquisite, the flavors left something to be desired, with a noticeable absence of the expected spiciness. It's worth noting that if you prefer milder flavors, you might find these dishes more to your liking.
Price (★★★★★):
Moti Mahel Delex's pricing falls on the higher end, which is understandable given the establishment's upscale ambiance. Nevertheless, one would anticipate that the quality of the food aligns with the price point, and in this regard, it felt somewhat lacking.
In conclusion, Moti Mahel Delex in Hyderabad shines brightest when it comes to creating an extraordinary ambiance and offering courteous service. It is an ideal choice for special occasions or intimate gatherings. However, for those passionate about the bold and spicy essence of Indian cuisine, be prepared for a somewhat restrained experience. If you prioritize ambiance and are willing to compromise on the spice factor, Moti Mahel Delex can still offer a delightful dining experience. Just remember to calibrate your expectations accordingly when it comes to the food.
It was the pleasant experience dining in moti mahal , service was too good . Food tasted really good specially their veg manchuria
I really love the service, more than the food. They were really putting effort to make sure nobody waited for their food items, even at a few times they were pro-active to ask for the right food.
Plus we had the complementary cake for the anniversary. Very good experience
Good place for ala carte dinning. Portion size is quite adequate, Staffs are friendly and service is good.
Butter chicken is the best in town... Some what sweet... Jalebi and rabdi is lit💥💥
The butter chicken was invented at their first outlet in Delhi. So if you want to try the OG butter chicken which is finger licking yum then definitely go here. Apart from this I tried the veg platter which was amazing and the soup and fruit punch were also very good. The thing which will melt your heart away is their Dal Makhani. You cannot beat it. It is flawless.
The ambiance and service are also very good. I just want to say one thing that it is a must go place for vegetarians. Don’t keep very high expectations from the non veg dishes like biryani and even the starters.
I dropped by this place to have a weekday lunch. They have 3 floors and well decorated. The staff is courteous. They had both buffet and ala carte options for lunch. I picked the ala carte option and was not disappointed at all. Authentic taste. I chose the vegetarian combo which had 2 butter Naan and Dal Makhani as part of the combo and it tasted very nice. Great Taste! Thanks for the good service Rahul and Aditya.
Amazing service.
Went to lunh on a Friday.
We chose their buffet (veg was 649/- and nonveg 749/-).
Food was great. A few starters are served at the table followed by a grill.
You get a grill on the table and pre-marinated meat and veggies on skewers. Just like BBQ Nation.
Loved all the starters. Spicy potato was really tasty.
Main course could have been better.
Waiter was very helpful and willing to customise as per our taste and choice.
Salads and were amazing. Desserts were good too except for brownie which was a bit dry.
Overall the ambience and quality was good.
Valet parking is available.
Al a Carte is available too.
Moti Mahal Delux restaurant location in Gachibowli, as my knowledge is not up-to-date. However, Moti Mahal Delux is a well-known chain of restaurants known for its North Indian cuisine, renowned for dishes like butter chicken and dal makhani.

Good place to visit, value for money
Great location, good ambience, mostly great food made to taste, very fast and efficient service and there's Mr. Meraj who provides awesome service
The food was average. I have had a much better experience at ABs or Barbeque Nation. The variety is much less. And even whatever they serve, the taste is not that good. The prawns are tiny and I was totally disappointed 😞. The main course is usually never awesome in such a buffet, but the Mutton LaalMas could've been better. The pineapple and crispy corn was a relief. The chicken kababs were okayish. Overall it's okay, but the variety could be more.
