This branch of kholani's is very different from it's other branches. It feels so homely here with a very calm environment and peaceful environment. It's a very good option for small parties as it has a homely vibe. The food is as delicious as it is in other branches with affordable prices.

Whenever You Hear Kholani's You'd think of Small Get togethers and parties that are hosted here and this is what Kholani's is Famous for!!
They have total 3 outlets in the city and the Tolichowki outlet being the oldest one I guess don't quote me on that !! Quite good place with Nice ambience, and also a fun fact, this restuarant is mostly famous for its buffet thing!!
Now coming to the food, in the starters we had Loose prawns , Reshmi Kabab, baby corn and both were good, though I am not a fan of mutton off late, the mutton haleem was good, and I think they serve haleem all the year, haven't asked them about it though just a guess!!
Now coming to the main Course, I had Butter paneer and Special Butter chicken, Apollo Fish Ordered with some Garlic naan Stuffed with Garlic and potatoes, why potatoes I don't know, but they surely enhanced the flavour.
And then the mutton Biryani was served, I just tasted it cause not a fan of mutton, it was quite good, I must say better than the Paradise one !!
Overall it was an awesome experience I had and all thanks to the staff for their prompt service and awesome food!!

My wife got some awesome biryani form Hyderabad on her last tour. Never knew about this chain probably since i have been always hung up about Paradise Biryani since the early 90’s.

I have been here on the night 30th of December 2017, they had special buffet rate 750 rupees excluding taxes I believe in normal days they charge 650 excluding taxes. The restaurant is setup in a Villa, of which first floor is exclusively for buffet it was nice and clean ambiance was OK and service also not bad however not as good as AB's or Barbeque Nations however the concept and arrangement is the same. Coming to the taste in starters fish was amazing, chicken not that good, mutton only one item that is sheek kabab but not that good, vegetarian there are hardly any starters available for you guys so sorry about that we were served only pineapple apart from non veg, coming to the Main course it was good Haleem was awesome, paya too was good, along with Roti and a couple of chicken curries, vegetarians have good amount of options here fried rice, noodles, paneer curry gravy Manchurian, etc. I didn't see vegetable biryani but Mutton Biryani was too good deserts were also very good they had 4 to 5 options chocolate cake and Gulab Jamun were really good.
Final Verdict : Good Place to visit for Non Veg Lovers specially if you want to have Haleem or paya and unlimited starters. Not that good place for vegetarians.

Have heard a lot about this place and finally visited few days back with my foodie friends.
Ambiance is good and quite spacious. It doesn't look like a normal restaurant it's like a bungalow which has been transformed into restaurant. So quite unique and classy. Can easily accommodate lot of gang at a time.
Coming to food, In Starters we tried Apollo fish which was nice, reshami kebab was good too. Pieces were really soft and very flavorful. Loose prawns were OK, surprisingly veg starters were much better then the non veg one. Gobi Manchurian was a star dish and amazing in taste. Crispy baby corn was as usual.
Main course: Normally butter chicken is something which is available at all the eateries but here it was lip-smacking another star. Same goes with butter paneer masala. Both the curries were complementing really well with tandoori and garlic naan. Stuffed naan was also decent. We have also tried chicken and mutton biryani. Mutton was better. Being in a big group is always a plus point so that we can taste most of the varieties.
Mutton haleem was another surprise in this season and we all liked it.
Dessert: In dessert we had Gulab jamun and kheer. Gulab jamun was as usual nothing special but kheer was outstanding. It was not very sweet but taste wise amazing.
Overall we had a good time at this place. Really satisfying dinner and value for money. Main course and specially curries are really good here and must try. Came to know that this is one of the oldest places in Hyderabad so will surely give a visit to abids branch too.

Kholanis has been one of the oldest fine dines in the city and the Banjara hills has been the top among all their outlets having normal dine, BBQ, banquet hall sections.
Recently visited the restaurant to taste some of their lip-smacking delicacies and wasn't disappointed at all.
Directly coming to food tasted their haleem which was one of the best you can get off season. From starters tasted their reshmi kebab, loose prawns, baby corn and apollo fish... Though every starter was good, the best among the lot were apollo fish and reshmi kebab.
From mains tasted their butter chicken and paneer butter masala along with some yummy stuffed parathas. Then came the best part of this place... their biryani which was really amazing with succulent mutton and aromatic rice 👌
Coming to deserts had their gulab jamun and kheer and both were of top notch quality.
Overall this place is still as good as it used to be and serves some really great Hyderabadi and other Indian delicacies.

Kholani's have been great over the past few years, especially in the old city. Have many friends who are a regular there. Had heard a lot about it. And hence decided to visit their branch at Banjara Hills with a group of friends.
The place is spacious, with 3 storeys. Restaurant, Buffet n Barbecue and Banquet at the top. Ambience is good. The staff is really fast and responsive. The service is nice.
We started off with Haleem. I really loved it. As it is not Haleem season and I was delighted to have it. Then came Apollo Fish. It was sweet and very well prepared. Then we went for Chicken Malai kebab. It was amazing. Simply melted in mouth. In veg we had Gobi Fry. It was okayish. For main course we had butter chicken made south Indian style. It was spicy, hot and yummy. In veg we had Paneer Masala. It was Okay. For staple we had assorted bread basket and the garlic naan was awesome. Finally we had Mutton Biryani. The pieces were tender and well cooked. Loved it.
For dessert we had hot gulab jamuns. So overall a very good Dinner.
Kholani's has always been one of the popular restaurants in the city since 1996. Their main branch is located in Old city. They also opened their branch in Banjara Hills and since it is close by for me I decided to go and pay it a visit. Kholani's at Banjara Hills is located on a huge villa that looks absolutely gorgeous. We decided to dine on the ground floor which was lit up with huge chandeliers.

So finally after a long wait I had a chance to visit the Banjara Hills branch of one of the oldest fine dine restaurant in Hyderabad! My first impression about this place is pretty good and decent in terms of ambience as the set up is in a villa. It has a beautiful fine dine area on ground floor, first floor has BBQ and top most floor has a banquet hall. I would love to visit the fine dine restaurant again for sure inshAllah!
So the first dish which arrived on our table was delicious and smooth Mutton Haleem! Trust me the taste was really good and packed with flavours! Then it was a turn for starters in which we had the soft and juicy Reshmi Kebab, Gobi Machuria, Crispy Baby Corn, Loose Prawn and Apollo Fish. The Apollo Fish and Reshmi Kebabs were my favourite!
Finally for the Main course we had Butter Chicken and Butter Paneer Masala with Garlic naan had the best combination. The meal never ends without the Biryani so at last aromatic Mutton Biryani with really good taste was served.
We were done with this heavy meal with delicious Angoori Gulab Jamun and Kheer! Perfect end!

The Kholani's is one of the legendary outlets in the twin city. As of now, they're having 3 outlets. This place is famous for the buffet and the small parties which are hosted here. I was invited for tasting session by the Management.
The Ambiance is nice here and the service is also quick and prompt. The Manager and waiters are kind enough. The taste of the food is also amazing and the price is also good.
In the starters we had Mutton Haleem, Reshmi Kebab, Loose Prawns, Baby Corns and Apollo Fish. The Mutton Haleem and Reshmi Kebabs were the best. The Mutton Haleem reminded us of the Ramadan days.
Then we moved on to the Main course, we had Special Butter Chicken and Butter Paneer Masala with Tandoori Naan and Garlic Naan which was stuffed with Garlic and Potatoes. Then we had Mutton Biryani which was good.
In the end we had Deserts, we had Gulab Jamun and Kheer The Gulab Jamun was well cooked and hot which made the taste of the Gulab Jamuns more tastier.
Overall, this is nice place with good Ambiance and good taste.

This branch located in Banjara hills holds the exact same traits with a unique vibe of serene ambiance from the balcony. I had haleem, something that is rarely consumed offseason and it was very delicious. It was followed by Malai Kebab, Paneer Butter Masala and Apollo Fish which was considerably my favorite pick of all. Mutton Biryani was on point along with desserts ahead that comprised of gulab jamun and kheer. I mean, If there is anything that competes Ohris with the Midas touch of vintage Hyderabadi dining, It's none other than Kholani's!
Went to this place yesterday with a few of my friends! Was looking for a fine dine restaurant and this seems to be the best one in the area!! Have been hearing the name kholanis since childhood and have visited the koti branch number of times!! First visit to the banjara hills branch though!
We had haleem to start off our evening with whose taste took me back to Ramzan nights!!
Then in starters we had the Crispy baby corn, apollo fish, reshmi kabab! Apollo fish was particularly noteworthy!
For The main course we had the special Butter Chicken with Garlic Naan
Paneer butter accompanied with butter naan!! Both were absolutely lip-smacking!!
Then we had the Mutton Biryani which i didn't expect to be so good that it could take on the best biryanis in hyderabad!
For dessert we had the Angoori Gulab Jaamun and Kheer!! Service was on point and ambience was excellent! The view from the balcony is great!like you can see the whole city!! Perfect place to go with families!!
We opted for dinner buffet, Good prompt service, delicious food better than AB's or other restaurants which I have visited, desserts are also very good

I visited Kholanis some time back post meeting. the meeting was hectic, but i had an amazing food there. Murgh Malai Kebab and Mumtaz Kebabs were just way too good. Same was the Grilled Zafrani Fish and Chilli Grilled Prawns. The food was outstanding. I really loved the food of Kholanis. It refreshed me

Been here twice. The quality of food is thumbs up. The ambience is good. Order however takes time to reach you, but worthy. Kholanis is a place if someone is looking for the actual and real Arabic and Mughlai cuisine. To be mentioned, their pricing is very much affordable in terms of other places at this location. Itz a must visit place to have a delicious food.
Went there with a group of friends,ambience was decent,all the starters were quite good especially tava chicken...main course was limited but most of it tasted good..Paneer should have been included in the barbecue starters..overall a good experience and a good place for an outing with family n friends

The rice in the mandi was very flavourful with mild spices and loads of taste. Ambience could be better in the balcony area. Overall experience was satisying.
One of the best places to eat Mandi in the whole is Hyderabad. Even the staff is really sweet and polite. The food is simply mind blowing. The ambience however could be better. We faced a lot of issue with bugs in the out door seating area (Though it could be due to the rainy weather). They were kind enough to shift our seats twice to get away from this issue.
The haleem didn't reach our expectations. The Saudi Champagne Mocktail is really good. The Mutton Juicy Mandi is simply a delight to the taste buds.
It was a memorable experience..it's completely renovated..food was amazing..we had Haleem , corn fish, saffron chicken , zurbian mutton mandi..all the dishes were absolutely delicious..overall it was a very good experience..

Kholanis a very good place to spend an evening. Its a typical restaurant which has a roof top and also an indoor seating arabic style. You have tables and chairs olin the ground floor. The theme is all white. The only turn off was there were no partition walls in the first floor and it got very crowded. Coming to food had peshawari chicken kebab which was nice and then had mutton khabsa which felt bit oily but the meat was nicely cooked and it was amazing. I ordered an extra mutton piece. Also like other mandi restaurants they offer soup at the beginning which was tasty too. Finally for the appetiser had the classic kunafa which lived up to the expectations. Overall a nice place for some arabian food.

Service is ok . Staff are a bit irresponsive, ambience can be better as there were many flies around and AC was also not working well. They had Arabic style of seating which was difficult for my parents.
Amazing food. I had the chance to come back to this place after a nine-year gap. I tried mandi and apollo fish. The flavour was fantastic. The soft, juicy and the meet in the mandi was tendered. The cost is slightly more than that of comparable restaurants. The waiters' constant requests for further orders is the only thing that appeared to be bad.

To start with the place has good ambience not too good but good unless you get a table in the balcony which is usually reserved before hand my many customers. Coming to the food, the Zurbian Mandi is purely delicious. Being a mandi lover and having tried many mandis, this one tastes the best. As for the service, weekends are very tight and you end up waiting for more than half an hour for the food, otherwise on weekdays service is also very good.
Decided to go this place after seeing few reviews on Instagram. The balcony seating is a good experience. Coming food we ordered meter kebab and raan mandi. The taste was just about ok with starters and mandi was good. Overall I would suggest a one time place. Would suggest mandi @36 has much variety and tastes better.
We went there in the afternoon around 4. The ambiance was calm and quiet since we were the first customers at the a la carte area (has a mandi section on the first floor).
The service was quick and the food was served warm-hot.

The fried rice- The rice was served warm but it lacked flavor. (6.5/10)
Butter naan- Was buttery and served straight from the tandoor, was a bit on the harder side (8/10)
Kadai Chicken- The gravy was kinda less, was well spiced and the chicken was boneless. (7/10)
Seekh kebab- was very tasty, would definitely recommend. Came on a bed of salad (sliced cabbage and carrots) served with a complimentary mint chutney. (9.5/10)
The Zurbian Mandi is just out of the world. It's a must try for Mandi lovers. Service is quick.
