The only place in Old City(Charminar Area) which prepares delicious and quality dishes. All the dishes specially Tandoor Items are great. You should also try Chicken and Mutton Biryani if you are in old city and crave for authentic Hyderabadi Biryani. You should also try Saag-Puri and Khichdi in the breakfast. You will never be disappointed once you visit Armaan Hotel.
Best restaurant in old city for tandoori chicken( Ready to serve 3pm onwards) and biryani(mutton & chicken) . If u are near charminar just walk to this place it is 350-400mtr aproxx from Charminar.
A very good place to have Hyderabadi and mughlai food. The biryanis(chicken and mutton) here are among the best and the other dishes are all on par. Parking for 4 wheleers ks a problem here but that shouldn't stop you from enjoying their ravishing biryanis. If you're near charminar and want to try biryani then do visit this place.

What a lovely place for biryani.....u will find better ambiance when compared to other restaurents in old city and here the maintainence is also good......if u are her then i recommand you to had grill chicken n also try mutton biryani bcoz i loke them the most.
Had biryani here sometime ago with family! Overall a good place to have quick dinner and keep your wallet happy! I guess can work on your service and washroom hygeine! No one wants to fall sick
Their grilled chicken and biryani are a must try . Grilled chicken will be available only in the evenings . If you go for lunch , you can still have biryani .

While returning to home along with my friend in the afternoon hours he suddenly stopped in front of this restaurant and planned to have a biryani as I heard a lot about the biryani is superb here so I didn't stop myself and we ordered a Spl. Chicken Biryani
.But there is nothing special about it's as the other surrounding restaurant provide a much Better biryani than this place so the biryani is not up to my expectations the quality and quantity is good the service is also good but can be improved, the price is pocket friendly and affordable. The ambience is fine in the A/c section
Surely will visit this place again hope for a better food next time

Had nothing to do on a weekend, my friend and I planned to savor some authentic Hyderabadi street food. It was a cold evening and my friend suddenly had a craving for grilled chicken. Staying in Sainikpuri, had already tried all the options around our locality. Went out aimlessly towards old city. I always believe the essence of the city and its street food lies in its old lanes and ancient markets, it's a different city within a city altogether. After a hard time struggling through famous "Hyderabad traffic", managed to reach charminar. A close friend who stays nearby once suggested a few must try places in old city, one of them being Shadab, Rumaan, Pista House, Armaan and many others. I have been to Shadab and few more restaurants around it a lot of times, none disappointed me on any instance. Armaan sounded like a new discovery. Pulled out my mobile, opened zomato and found out it was rated a pretty decent 3.7 and it was just a few hundred meters from Charminar, our destination was set. Reached a while later after google maps and zomato maps decided to give us a free tour around Charminar and its narrow lanes. Nothing exceptonal going by the looks, just as you expect every other restaurant in this part of the town, is divided into two floors, the ground floor is a general seating and the First floor being air conditioned, chose the latter as ground floor seating was too crowded. One thing I found amusing while entering is the quantity of chicken being grilled inside a huge grill, next to the entrance. It does make you drool, so ordered it without wasting a moment. The food arrived within minutes, I took a bite and to my surprise, it was probably one of the best grilled chicken I've ever had in this part of Hyderabad. It wasn't oily or greasy as found elsewhere, had a subtle flavor and was perfectly grilled, almost melts in your mouth. Next, we ordered chicken biryani, which was pretty good with decent portions of chicken and tasted ok but I would still prefer shadab for its infamous biryanis. Finished the food trip with full satisfaction and left the place. Prices are budget friendly and going by the quality and quantity of food, it's worth every penny. Lastly, I would say please give it a try for a decent Hyderabadi food experience, probably one of the best places in Hyderabad for grilled chicken and kebabs.
when we entered the restaurant first floor, we didn't expect much but we were surprised to get finger licking foodchicken chatpata is superb. chicken achari is simply chicken curry mixed with aam ka achaar. even we found one piece of aam in it. the best part is the curry which is spicy and delicious. food is a bit oily but well cooked. mutton curry was also awesome.service is a bit slow. needs some improvement in it.prices are quite economical. you will get 4 medium sized pieces of chicken and mutton in 120 to 150 rs dishes which is quite okthey also don't serve finger bowl which lets you a bit gloomy in the end.
Hi people... Underestimated this place for quite a time and decided to give a try last month... First surprise !! Grilled chicken in this area(Never expected to be such great)... It was worth a try... Loved it.. Mutton biryani on second visit was also great... Third try was for grilled again... So I suppose it to be a very nice place to enjoy food... Family section needs to be built as uts the place where u can enjoy food with family as well... Otherwise you can go with friends and cousins for a very tasty lunch or dinner(Prefer dinner as grilled and most items at prepared after 7pm... Way to go Armaan !!!! Rocking !!!!
This is my second visit here and the grill chicken is just awesome... My first visit was during ramazan and had haleem that time which was pretty decent...
The chicken just melts in your mouth and is not overly spiced, just the right amount of everything. It was probably the best grilled chicken I had.
Will try something different next time and hoping to have the same experience with other dishes also.

Armaan is the place where I have had the best food ever. No where else have I tasted the kind of food that's served by Armaan. That's the reason I say Hyderabad is the best place for foodies. I'm not from Hyderabad, however, I used to ensure that I travel (for work) to Hyderabad during the month of Ramadan just so that I can visit this place.
The taste and quantity is awesome. Don't go with the expectations of best service. The place may not look hygienic, but I prefer to ignore that part. Go only for food, nothing else.

This place has good irani tea and bakery and tandoor items with rumali roti. They also serve breakfast and in breakfast you can order khichdi or puri bhaji.

Try Irani chai and biscuit. It's very near to chairminar. night hotel is closed from front side but it's is open from back side.
It has less parking area.
Better to avoid mid night travel towards charminar. Sometimes police will beat you if you visit charminar late night.

I recently visited Hotel Armaan at Charminar, with my family. The atmosphere of the hotel was amazing, with a traditional modern design. We found the service to be excellent. The staff was polite and friendly. We had great experience here.
The food quality was also good, we tried their famous biryani and it was really delicious. The portion size was generous and the price was very reasonable. We also had some other dishes and they were all very tasty.
