What got my attention is the seating arrangements and the precision with which the staff operates. We were a bunch of very hungry people and they served us very quickly and correctly even though our orders were long and confusing.

Me and my friend were desperately craving for sea food and we thankfully ended up in the right place. A typical Goan themed restaurant which is pretty and cool. We ordered from the combos the chicken fried rice and chilli prawns. They were so so amazing my mouth still waters. Prawns was so properly cooked and was super tasty. We also ordered the tawa fish which actually was average. It wasn't properly cooked and the masala wasn't much relishing. All in all this is great place for people craving for sea food. The service was something to be appreciated. This place is worth a try.
An amazing place to chill out with your gang,it's vibrant ambience and an enchanting range of cocktails gives a perfect feel of Goan shacks ! Their pub lunch is a feather on the cap, where you get a 3 course meal with a pint beer at an unimaginable price. Weekends musical nights are something which you can look upto and sometimes they offer complimentary drinks too.
Place is little stuffed and the ambiance is fair. It's a good place to hang around with friends and casually having beers. The best part is this bar is adjacent to the metro station which makes traveling easier

Ladies night and yeahhh unlimited liquor from 8-10pm. 😋🤩 Though they serve selective liquor in the Ladies night, you still get decent options. Food was yumm. We loved the fish fry which was cooked well and had the right amount of spices to tickle our taste buds. Chicken starters were also tasty. I'm surprised I don't have food pictures, probably because I was too engrossed in dancing. 💃💃 To all the dance lovers out there, you would love the in-house DJ's music. He blended good stuff and we danced like crazy. So you have to visit this place and experience it yourself.
Been here a few months back, a resto bar with Goan theme. Not an alcoholic, so it's mostly about food and ambiance though my friends didn't had any complaints about alcohol. Tried babycorn, french fries and grill chicken which tasted good. Service was fast and friendly. Ambiance was cool.

Went here on a ladies night.. This place does not serve diluted drinks on ladies night as in other places.. They made your drink as strong as you'd like and also gave shots etc.. we ordered nachos and it was good and the quantity was also quite good.. The music could be better though..

One of the resto bar in the hyderabad with goa ambiemce and with the cool music..waiters are very good at their service and patience...but they didn’t have any clarity what we ordered..one of the waiter in the pub served the same item second time....taste of food is good but they didnt served us hot masala cheese fries...thats it ..everything else is magnificent and ambience is attractive..

Visited this place last weekend. Located below Tikishack. If you choose outdoor seating, the service is really slow. Food tastes just good. Colourful place. Inside you have sofa seating as well but that's for larger groups I believe. A must visit.
We were recommended this place, when Tiki Shack was closed during the day. We were hesitant at first but the interior was very appealing. Coming to food, we ordered chilli cheese fries and paneer pizza. The menu and the taste were same as tiki shack. No change there. Only the prices of the drinks were higher. And also there was another Goan cuisine menu, which we didn’t taste. Food was decent. Ambience and service were really good. Overall an ideal place for day drinking.

Ambience- the bright wall paintings, the bar counter, the way tv is hanged on the wall, the casual beer glasses. Everything makes one feel like you are in a shack but amidst a metro rail that is visible from the balcony

The only thing one finds contrary to the conventional “shack” is the super affordable menu , at least for drinks
Service- mr devender and zuri are prompt , love their work and won’t leave an opportunity to make it an awesome experience
Parking- ample of it is available inside the cellar

Really great Goan Themes Restaurant. One of the few places in Hyderabad which serve both Beef and Pork. The Burger which one can customize is pretty neat and tasty.
The selection of drinks available is also great.

Was there on a lazy sunday afternoon. Great place to hangout with friends especially in the afternoon time.Food was good. Great thing is they didn't charge for the game available to play. Aloo starter was well cooked and I liked it. Green salad quantity wasa bit less except everything was okay.
This was my first visit to this restaurant. We wanted to try the Goan food The manager Malay was very helpful and I asked for the chef. Chef Krishna recommended a few dishes and we ordered a sausage starter followed by a pomfret rechade and a chicken cafreal with steamed rice. Ended the meal with a bibinca. Excellent food from the word go till the end. Chef served some excellent food and the service by the server Kim was outstanding. She made sure that everything was perfect and we did not have to look around for anything. Shall surely visit again for some Italian food as the chef specializes in that. Look forward to going again
Visited Calangoat on a weekend, just to try the Goan Food. The ambience is pretty good and so is the food taste.
A suggestion to the management would be to look into the possibility of having Pav Bread in the Goan menu, since it goes really well with Cafreal or Xacuti.

I was very curious about the name Calangoat (sounds almost similar to Calangute, one of the well-known beaches of Goa). I guess they wanted to mean a non -veg restaurant with Goan theme (I think goat here stands for non veg). Two of us went to this place for lunch. We could only taste three dishes (2 starters and one 1 main course). Following are the descriptions:
Pork ribs in Siracha sauce:
Siracha is a Thai chili sauce made from a paste of chili peppers, distilled vinegar, garlic, sugar, and salt. This flavor has added a spicy and tangy taste to the pork ribs and no doubt has enhanced the taste of pork ribs by adding a typical Asian flavor to it. The quantity is good enough (6 pieces of ribs).
Bacon wrapped prawns:
Prawns wrapped with bacon, deep fried with a coating. The outer part is crunchy while its juicy, tender and flavorful inside. I found it little over fried but my friend liked it.
Chicken stroganoff: A sour cream based chicken gravy served with rosemary flavored rice. This item was too delicious.
The presentations were nice. The ambience was super cool. The service was satisfactory. I shall visit this place soon and try their other items in the menu (written behind a number plate)
Great place with authentic Goan tastes and flavours. Family friendly place with retro western music playing gently. We tried Foam Veg curry, Chicken Xacuti and Fish Reachado. The flavour was rich in taste and it was a bit on the spicy end. Liked the hospitality and the seating in the outdoor with good wind blowing outside on a cool night.

We visited this place yesterday for dinner.
The place is colourful and vibrant with goan theme. We were warmly welcomed by the restaurant folks dressed up in Goan attire.There was seating indoor and a balcony kind of seating with hut as roof and metro construction view. It was good and unique.
Coming to the drinks, we were little disappointed as it was dry day so no drinks. So we ordered a virgin mojito and fruit punch. I have to say they don’t have much options in mock tails and when we asked for flavours in fruit punch they said only strawberry is available which was disappointing.
For food we started with some fried chicken momo’s and some pineapple cheese sticks. Both were good and then tried some chicken chops which were crispy and well flavoured. We finished of with a chocolate lasagna which was so well served. Overall food was really good.
Service was quick and prompt. They promptly enquirer about the taste and how we liked it and all. Overall a good place to have calm and peaceful dinner. Will definitely recommend. The only star I reduced is because of lack of options in mocktails especially when the actual drinks are not available.Will try some drinks some other time and update this.
Visited this place on a Friday evening. We were given a very warm welcome. The interiors are pretty nice giving you a giant feel. Even the staff wears those typical Goan print shirts to compliment to this feel. The outside view was only better because of the weather and cool breeze and was blocked by the construction of metro and all.
The starters tasted nice. We had baby corns and crispy corns Wich were great to taste. Also the cocktails were nicely blended. The mojito was perfectly made with great tinge of mint and lemon. The staff was very polite and humble, thanks for the great service.
Overall a nice place to be once in a while and get out of City feels.

Me and my fiance went on a date night,to this lovely place. It's located In Jubilee hills just below Tikki shack.
The interiors are truly eye catching and perfect for a date. Staff is very much firendly too.
When it comes to food, we did enjoy eveything we ordered excpet for Pasta which had a typical spicy flavour that ruined the dish.
They do have a foosball for fun.
Porkoholics' paradise. They have a unique and funky way to tell what they sale. and they sale a whole lot of items with choices of vegetables, sea food, chicken, goat and pork. I would suggest you take out 15 minutes and study the whole menu board in Zomato before you go to this shack.
Yes Shack. If you find a number plate on your table, pick it up and turn it around to find a whole long list of various Goan (Konkoni) cuisine. The best part is that the Konkoni food tastes perfectly authentic.

Amazing food even if you're vegetarian! I love the decor and the ambience. The drinks were great too! I got the desi martini but it wasn't very good but the staff went through great lengths to make it alright for us and even gave us a replacement drink. I got a veg xacuti curry and it was very well made. The balcony (the smoking area) is a really nice place and so are the indoors.

Nice place to hangout with friends. We ordered pizza prawns garlic bread with beers. The garlic bread was not upto the mark. Tasted very bad. It would be appreciated if the cheese used is of good quality and some toppings could be added.

Food is really good, comfortable seating with broad mattresses and cushions, the service is quick, my son loves the music at this place as he can dance to his heart's content in the small open spaces between chairs and tables. I took away one star because for one particular dish I requested them to prepare it non spicy and they confirmed that it will be made non spicy but the order that I received was not at all non spicy. But over all a very good place to be visited with family and friends. A must try.
Old English songs were playing when we went. Food was okay, quantity was good. Non vegetarian options are more compared to vegetarian options. Also we got 50% off coupon on dine out and it came out really cheap for us. Not many options available in beers.

I went there to sing at karaoke nights. The owner was with us. He's the coolest owner I've ever met! The place is full of energy. If a man who's disappointed visits this he'll return home with full of energy happily
The place has a nice interiors, which is probably the first thing that'll catch anyone's eye when they first walk in here with bold murals and goan themed seating. I appreciated the variety of the food menu, the quality of the food was varied across fishes however. Everything from the goan menu was good
