This is one of the very few authentic punjabi cuisine restaurants in Hyderabad. Ambience is average but they score in taste. Most of the so called Punjabi Restaurants or Dhabas in Hyderabad have food being prepared mostly by good Odisha cooks but not so here. Food is made by Punjabis here and is very satisfying. Plus value for money.

A very small unexplored place for some good North Indian food. The place is located in the bylanes of Kundhanbagh Begumpet. The place is located near to the very famous St Francis College, Methodist colony, Kundhanbagh, Begumpet, Hyderabad. This place is on the first floor a small 15-20 seater place for authentic Punjabi food. They serve hot rotis direct from the kitchen. Also, it is very economical, pocket friendly place for some good food. Happened to go there for a quick lunch, ordered punjabi chicken with bite size chicken pieces and loads of boiled egg pieces. The gravy was simple with minimal spices and yet amazing. Ordered egg paratha which was crisp and perfectly made with egg inside the paratha. Butter roti was hot with good amount of butter and light on tummy.
The total bill came upto 326 Rs with one punjabi chicken, 3 butter rotis, 1 egg paratha and 2 laccha parathas. They serve the right kinda laccha paratha which very few of them serve in Hyderabad.

One of best places if you want to have tasty Paratha like home made. Very cozy and family friendly restaurant. We had aloo, methi and gobi partha with lassi. Don’t have words of appreciation for the food. They are the best when it comes to partha.

This place is situated in Begumpet and i had ordered the chicken cheese parathas for lunch.the parathas tasted absolutely great. Each paratha is above the average size and there is a genuine amount of chicken and cheese in it. Overall I really enjoyed the food and would definitely suggest it to people who like having parathas. This place isn't harsh on your pockets.
This food joint is a perfect example of "Never judge a book by its cover". dear needs ur punjabi food is always authentic and great. recently, march 15th i ordered chilly chicken. instead of doing it with natural ingredients u just poured over chilly sauce, which spoiled the dish. please keep in mind ur tradition, dont become run of the mill food joints.

I have been visiting Needs for the past 4 years. They have the best Aloo Parathas I've ever eaten in a restaurant. The food is served straight from a chulha to the plate. They make exceptionally yummy milkshakes and lassis that are surprisingly cheap. Their rotis and curries are great too but we mostly order a variety of Parathas whenever we go. Their Chole Bhature are also fantastic. The owner is a very friendly person and the service is fast. I like how casual it is with the visible kitchen and a few tables and chairs with jars of Achaar on them. This is one of my go to places for comfort food in Hyderabad.
1st tym i had ordered from this restaurant. The amazing experience. Chicken butter masala with alu paratha. Dey also gv onion & pudina chatni.taste was superb yummy . But only the packaging matters, having no restaurant name on polybag. Curry & all packets with aluminum wrapper without no restaurant name on it.

It was the day I shifted to Begumpet when I had take out food from Needs. I was really grossed out and tired from moving. So, when I found the place, I had very little expectation. Anyway, I took two meals - a veg & a non-veg. Both were very satisfactory. I felt the salt was a little less - but people's taste buds sense differently.
Though I did not eat inside, I still could say from the time I spent waiting that it was a comfortable place to eat in. On the top of that, I find the prices pocket friendly.

This place is heaven and I visit this place almost every where. I get a homely feeling when I eat food here. The chocolate milkshake is just amazing. Out of this world. The cheese parantha and aloo cheese parantha is just truly amazing. The paneer tikka masala sabzi is out of this world
My family takes food from here quite often since it's close to my place. Needs is definitely that one place to go for, when you're craving for some "ghar ka khana". There's a homely touch to almost every dish they make here.. No extra Flavours, Spices or taste enhancers. Everything feels so fresh and tasty.
I would definitely recommend a take away or a home delivery rather than dining here. The ambience isn't that great. The dining space is a little too crammed. But the food definitely makes up for it! :D
This was the quickest delivery I have ever seen .. lel. Ordered their Kadai Paneer with some extra zing of spice. Loved the service. Great taste. The planet was fresh and just delicious.

It's a small place which is a quite hard to find when you're going there for the first time. It's on the first floor. If you love paranthas and non veg food, it's a must try. I had non veg and Gobi parantha. And it was very tasty especially the Gobi parantha. They also serve others. Lassi is also very good. Very pocket friendly. Although the hygiene and cleanliness of the area is a negative. Worth a visit.
Definitely a hidden gem in my book. Don't go there for the ambience. Rest all is just what you want for a daily dinner option. Veg fares better then the non veg here. Stuffed Parathas, dal makhni and roti are my favs. Simple and delicious.
Excellent place for nice Punjabi food for a reasonable price. I have known this place for more than 5 yrs and I don't think the quality has gone down . If you stay close by this place definitely a one to try out .

Though a small cozy place, it is home to the best variety of parathas. Aalu paratha is an all time favourite but Chocolate paratha is an innovative creation that is must try. It is a perfect dark chocolate paratha that satisfy your taste buds and your sweet tooth as well. Thumbs up. And donot forget to end your meals with a glass of sweet lassi.Aloo mushroom is worth trying....a full tasty package

It was dinner time and was tired to go out and eat so, i ordered from here. The paneer Butter Masala and pulkas. Paneer butter masala was okay . I can find out that same gravy is used for every dish by seeing the butter paneer masala. Phulkas very good. Its a budget punjabi food restaurant.
I ordered Egg Pulav and Dal Makhni Tadka and called them to get it customized and they obliged my request with a very quick delivery. Food quality is excellent, quantity could be slightly more, but can't expect more value for money. Keep it up!

Seems very small place, and how will be the food??? But your thoughts are totally wrong small place serves better food than many others.. Famous for parathas so I Walsh started with same egg paratha, alu paratha and than chicken paratha, excellent, fantabalous food.. Seems like home made food..and yes its prepared by family. pudding chutney and onions are free with all.. I even tried egg bhurji, saahi paneer, egg bhurji was again like home made less spice and you will get all flavours but saahi paneer was disappointing.. Lastly ordered butter milk which was superrrr,. Service is ok, small place so ambiance is not that really matters and the patrons were all office goers and students who knows this place will never give up for that which is famous for... Recommended place...

I visited Needs Dhaba on various occasions just for their home alike varieties of parathas and non-veg curries. The owner is friendly and the staffs working there are all swift on their feet.
As I said, I visited this place many a times and till date I have tasted lachha paratha, azwain paratha, alu paratha, paneer cheese paratha during various visits along with constant non veg side dishes like chicken bharta, butter chicken or chicken masala.
The taste remains constant and it is the various kinds of paratha that gives a different taste during each and every visit.

When you really need parathas..look nowhere else..there's needs dhaba for you! Amazing parathas and north Indian food which take you back to perhaps your college times when you had a favourite dhaba which never pinched the pocket but sent you back tummy full! Try the rajma. .chicken curry..aloo parathas. .actually the list is not exhaustive. Guilt free eating out..needs it is!

For those who haven't been to this place, when u walk in.. U can see a hall where plastic tables are placed in rows and aligned under fans to be shared between guest of 2 tables..
However u can also choose to see the warm smile from the owner & the staff members who rush to get u a place and make u comfortable.

The food by default in most of such places was tasty & fulfilling. I really liked the swiftness in bringing us the food & the Special mint+curd chutney that they give as a side serving on the table.
As my friend with me said to the waiter, we are here to try out so pl order for us what ever u feel is best made. I think it's the right way to order here..
The biggest USP of this place is that its pocket friendly and also servers v mouthwatering dishes...

I ended up at this little restaurant after a friend begged me to try the parathas.
And try we did - Rice paratha, Chana dal paratha, Jaggery paratha, ajwain paratha - they have the most interesting menu. The place is run by a Punjabi family, very simple and super easy on the pocket.I'd recommend their Ginger Paneer, Dal tadka, Mushroom Manchurian and go crazy with the parathas.
On a lazy Sunday, I decided to go to this place for lunch rather than have food packed all the time like i normally do. This is such a normal place. Typical Punjabi place.. Normal tables, crazy Punjabi songs and the rest. So i ordered a Chicken Pulao & Ginger Chicken. The Chicken Pulao was out of this world.. For the rest time I've actually seen Chicken as in like actual chicken pieces and not coated with flour elsewhere. The spices in the pulao, the chillies, the onions, WOW... I went crazy over that. Then came the Ginger Chicken, The highlight of the lunch. This baby was so yummy and beautiful to look at, it was amazing. The color, the pieces so tender and perfectly cooked. God bless these guys who make food there. Just to top it of, I packed an Ajwain Paratha and took it home.. This Paratha was the best. So spicy and very tasty. I'm gonna keep coming to this place every weekend. Lunch or Dinner. PLEASE START BREAKFAST. I'll shift my house that side.

pocket friendly restaurant. ambience is pretty ok! the menu is simple and I like their chicken cheese paratha and chicken 65. it's very near to our college and hostel and we get a good homey food.
This place is my husbands fav since years. The food here is very much like homemade. Rotis are made of atta n no mixing of maida(thank god). The menu is simple and straight. It's pocket friendly and bi I don't wanna discuss about ambience( wish this one thing they could change)
Huge fan of their aloo paranthas. Thali dint hit me right. The starters were okay. Phulkas and egg burji never disappoints. All paranthas are constant hits for me. This time I tried makki ki roti and it was tasty. Then comes the best part- mango lassi( it's seasonal) a must must try. It's rich and heavy and tasty. With the onset of Winters, Makke Di Roti and Sarson ka Saag are the most relished Delicacies. And what better place than Needs Dhaba. Also had, Paneer Chilly, Egg Tadka Dal, Aloo-gobhi-daal and Paneer Paratha with Boondi Raitha. Sarson was very well made and all the Paratha's including Makke Di Roti taste awesome. Service was a bit slow. Good food and VFM.
This is one of my favorite places. Sardarji knows how to take care of food requirements of everyone and his food is too homly and too reasonable. It's been a routine and hasn't been one day wen I m not satisfied.

I totally love this place... And since Hyderabad actually doesnt understand dhaba well as delhites, ordering the kind of food also matters. The menu will have everything but my suggestion is as follows: Rajma, all parathas, eggs, palak chicken(mind blowing!!), all "sabzis", omelette curry, lassi, butter milk, pulav... Try and I vouch for these you wont be disappointed.

This is a crowdy place for Punjabi dishes near the corporate offices. Place is not big, tables are very adjacent. Service is bit delayed, especially at lunch time where there will be a bit crowd. Prices are moderate. I didn't find HALAL, so ordered veg and egg dishes. Garlic Chilli Parota is too spicy, Panner chese Parota is a must try (₹96). Scrambled egg curry is ver tasty. Thali is waste of money. Overall a nearby place for a quick Punjabi bites.

I've been here with my colleagues and the place was like okay okay type when compared to ambience but yet u would like to give full 5 stars because the bill is so comfortable on pockets.... The taste is awesome and the menu is unlimited with so many variations in the Punjabi cuisine.... Just loved the taste of lassi.... It's beyond explaination and too yumm to describe.... Just go there and taste it.... It's awesomely amazingly mind-blowing taste.....

Have been eating here for many years. Someone wants to have north indian food, for them this is a good place with reasonable pricing. Their lassi is also too good. When ever you are in this area try it once.
