Highly recommended to visit this awesome place. The food is amazing and recommend to have their standard dum Biriyanis. I loved the chicken one and tangling kebabs.
It is amazingly crowded and hence expect some waiting.

After travelling in a heavy traffic around old city, finally reached Shadab at 4:0pm. We were asked to wait for 30 minutes for a table. Imagine the Rush even at 4:30pm then. We got a table. Although we know we are tasting the best Hyderabadi Biryani, we ordered Dragon Chicken starter which is juicy and tasty appetiser. There were no soups available in this place. Later we had Shadab Mutton Biryani, Wow!Tender!! Hot!!! Aromatic!!!! this is one of the best biryanis I ever had followed by Chicken Biryani which is also good. Worth waiting for the Hyderabadi’s Best Biryani. Have it Enzoy it 👍🏻
It was overcrowded with people when we reached there for lunch. But food was really good. We ordered hyderabad mutton Dum biriyani, chicken goti kabab and coke. Please note, if you are going there, you can choose to sit on the ground floor or on the first floor under A.C. But management and staffs are different for each floor, they are not connected.
A famous joint to have some quality Biryani in Hyderabad. The place is a basic hotel, no one should expect an extraordinary decor but the food they serve is really amazing and the portion also is enough for 2 people😍😍
Still an OG place where you need to give your name and wait for 10-30 mins in the peak time!
The all time best is the mutton biryani and chicken dum biryani make sure to ask for double masala for added flavour
You can try the starter Changezi kebab(3.5*) with mayonise, the roti are readily available all the time immediately but the rest will take some time!
The only worst part from the customer to the management is that PLEASE update your washrooms! They are stinky as hell and became very old!
One of the iconic restaurant in Hyderabad. Love the food, love the biryani. I first visited in 2015 and even after 8 years the biryani is top notch. The place mostly remains crowded, so might have to wait a while to find a table. The restaurant staff are quite friendly too, as they make first cum first serve entry for table bookings.
A must try place in Hyderabad for biriyani ❤
Totally loved the place. They serve a huge proportion of rice, enough for 2 . The taste was amazing. I also tried their faluda, it was also very tasty. 💯
If you haven't been to Shadaab (madina circle, charminar) - then you haven't ever tried authentic Hyderabadi biryani and all the other famous local cuisines - a 100+ year old restaurant.
Only sideback is the long wait time in queue to get a table, thats also coz how famous this hotel is and the rush for a try any time throughout the day (into late nite)
Shadab opens after 12 in the afternoon. We reached there exactly at 12 and had to wait for 30 minutes more before placing our orders. It was irritating at first, but within those 30 minutes the hotel was full. So it's wise to go there at 12 and wait. Otherwise you won't get the seat and will have to wait longer.
We ordered the famous chicken dum biryani. And it didn't disappoint. The flavours were simple and good. They gave us a big chicken piece rather than multiple small pieces. It also needs to be mentioned that the biryani was served piping hot. It was freshly cooked and one could taste it.
Sadly, they didn't have a lot of curries or kebabs at that time of the day. Most of the items in the menu are available in the evening. So choose your time of visit accordingly. For dessert, we ordered khubani ka meetha. Let's just say It wasn't for us. The dessert is made of sweetened apricots topped with malai. It's a popular hyderabadi dessert.
The service was fast. The staff is busy handling the crowd. You won't get the time and attention you might expect. Some staff members are not even interested in talking to you properly. You quickly place the order and that's it.
Went on a weekend evening for dinner. If you are fond of Dum Biryani then this is the place to try.
Tried Mutton Biryani which was good. Then tried tandoori roti with paneer butter masala which was okay. Parking is a bit of an issue on the weekend. Service was good considering the crowd.Good place for non veg items.
It is a very busy place with a lot of waiting time. One should wait at least half an hour during weekdays and it varies depending on holiday season. But taste was good and worth visiting once in a lifetime.
Shadab - one of best biryani for those who can wait patiently for at least 1/2 an hour 😅
I had lunch in ground floor, since the crowd is high the place is very tight , bit messy.
From catching seats to final bill payment it will take time not less than one hour !!
Recommend - mutton full biryani with tangdi kabab ! Note tangdi comes with 4 pieces / plate .
Taste - 5⭐️
Cost - 5⭐️
Quantity- 5⭐️
Ambience - 3⭐️
Parking - 3⭐️
Best Hyderabadi Biryani spot. 5 minutes distance from Charminar. Very underrated I must say, this restaurant don’t make marketing gimmicks like other restaurants.
If you want to take taste of real Hyderabadi birayni then visit here.
But very crowded place usually during dinner at holidays. So plan accordingly.
Golden Rating for this restaurant ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Best ever briyani I tried in Hyderabad City ⭐
- Basically this place was too crowded. Therefore if you decided to have food here, Do visit this place at the earliest 🏃
- Chicken Briyani was really good and it satisfies our hype level. And their Quantity was also more enough 🔥
- Dessert wise Qubani Ka Meetha was really great ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and it's a must try dessert guys. Price wise also it was cheap around 35 Rupees but best dessert ever I tried ✅
- Ambience wise this place was old and not upto the mark. So don't expect best ambience for this place🏚️
Surely try this place for their Briyani and Qubani Ka Meetha 🥗🍧
The biryani is Really good and there are open non-AC rooms and also comfortable a/c rooms. Make sure you are there early as it gets awfully crowded . If you want any items other than biryani visit before 10:00 AM in the morning after that only 20% of items only will be available. That’s what they said me when I ask them. we went for lunch at 1:00 PM and waiting time was around 20 mins to get a table in normal open area . It’s congested but quite worth for the taste.
It was not very clean or tidy.
But the biryani was very very good. The taste of the burista came through.
The salan and raita was very good they had flavours of their own.
The staff was very accommodating and friendly.
A must try place for biryani after Shah Ghouse and Nayab those being the best.
Especially after slow walking from Charminar to this place it feels right
