I was here for lunch with my family on a Sunday afternoon. The place is not very spacious but is not too small either. They have a great menu for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. The only problem is the slow service and the food can also be a little better. It’s a decent place to go out with family and is not expensive which is a bonus. 😊

Nice restaurant in vicinity ... Good food... nothing more to say.. worth trying once if you are around.

They are going under change in management and soon will start serving breakfast...

This is their I believe 3rd management change after name change from olive.. Hope comes out good this time..

Came to know about this place through a friend. It is actually located in botanical garden. I have visited this place thrice. Their nalli gosht biryani is very good and a must have. I also had kheema biryani and roti with murgh kandhari which tasted good. This is a place for biryani lovers.

I have visited Taksh yesterday with my hubby as it's near to our house..This place is newly open..Ambiance is good..We had veg. Combo..Shanghai roll was nice..outer layer was cryspy and every bite was yummy..Biryani- It was Awesome..I can feel the falvour of Garam masala..Veggies were cooked properly..Salan and Raita was good..I loved their Biryani coming to dessert..It was Gajar ka Halwa..Thumb up for this delicious sweet..They served sprit with this combo..My overall experience was good with Taksh..Service was quick and helpful staff.

Surely visit this place again ...

Its One of the famous food chain in Hyderabad with a nice ambience. We ordered veg combo and it was really worth of money. In starters we got Shanghai roll which was very tasty and crispy. Veg biryani was just awesome. Never had such biryani ever in hyderabad. It was little spicy, but it can be omitted against the taste. Carrot halwa was also just delicious. Service was excellent too.

We ordered chicken hot & sour soup which was tasty and so good 😀. We ordered a non veg meal which included a chicken dum biryani ,chilli chicken starter ,a dessert and a coke. Also we ordered crispy baby corn .Chilli chicken was good .Biryani tasted more like pulao and it was not at all dum biryani 😕😐 Crispy baby corn was very bad - could not have more than 1 👎👎. For dessert we had gajar ka halwa 💕which kind of compensated for others dishes cz it was damn yummy 😊😊 Loved it.

Ordered their nalli ghosth biryani.... AND it's the best biriyani i jave tasted in Hyderabad in almost the years... Period. Being a bong, not to fond of overtly spicy stuff, i like my biriyani flavour to be subtle and mutton to be packed with flavours. And this was just that. Last but not the least... I had ordered this through swiggy and their packaging to ensure flavours and aroma do not evaporate was extremely effective

Good food and a close by venue.. The quantity served is enough for 2 people and the service too is exceptionally good.
Overall experience of dining here is good and it is definitely value for money..

This was the newly opened branch on the road of Botanical Gardens near Chirec School. Ambience looks great with good seating capacity. There's even a separte room for B'dy party celebrations or some little group parties.

Food is very good. Loved them all. Ordered Sweet Corn, Hot and Sour and Manchow Soup. I can say nothing about them. Gave us a nice start. In the starters ordered Paneer Tikka Kebab and Tawa Kodi Fry. They are simply superb. So fresh, soft and delcious. Loved the Kodi fry, taste lasted till the last bite. In the main course on their suggestion, ordered Nalli Ghost Biryani and Ulavacharu Egg Biryani. Biryani gave us a unique taste and it's so good. Ulavacharu Biryani can be better. Overall had a nice experience. In the last, gave us a complimentary Sweet Pans with 15% discount. So surprised. It was some promotional discount.

But a little overpriced for the quantity. People around here can definitely give it a try.

What a peaceful place to sit and dine. The service was as great as quality of the food. We oredered a three course meal and it's finger licking from kebabs to curries to deserts. I love the ambiance and interior of the place, it's so well balanced that you really enjoy your food. Will be coming back very soon :)

Takshs one more resturant located near chirec school kondapur....

Was invited for a tasting session by the management and we were served an array of mocktails kababs and varients of biryani...

Apart from the regular seating section there is a pdr too where we were seated ...

Three mocktails were served which were refreshing and perfectly chilled...

Lungfung chicken soup and chicken manchow soup were hot and soothing to begin a good start to the food affair..

Kababas such as chicken pahadi kabab, afghani chicken kabab ,tandoori chicken ,chicken tikka,murgh malai kabab , andhra fried fish ,chilly lamb were served and excluding the tandoori chicken all the rest were very good in taste and andhra fish ,afghani kabab and mutton chilly being my top picks...

For mains we had chicken biryani and nalli biryani and i must say that nalli biryani was a show stopper by far one of the best biryani i had in my recent times...

Deserts as kala jamoon and gulab jammon were served which were okayish and passable in taste....

Service was nice and impressive with an overall plesant dining experience ...

Came here with team mates for an official lunch. The ambience is pretty decent. It is spacious. Tried the manchow soup and chicken starters. They were good. But the veg order took time to come. The lassi was really nice. Would like to visit again for something new.

I visited Taksh with a group of foodies SACHIN DANDOTIYA   Manish Khandat  Sindhu , Paramjeet Wasu "thehungryhyderabadi"  as part of tasting event. After having mediocre experience at their Banjara Hills outlet, my expectations about Taksh at Kondapur weren't much. 

The ambiance is pretty much normal with a casual dining feel. We were seated in a private dining area. 

As always, we started the meal with soups - Chicken Manchow soup, Chicken Clear soup and Chicken Lung Fung soup. All of them were served hot and had a good flavor to relish.

Then came an array of starters - Tandoori Chicken, Murgh Malai Kebab, Pahadi Kebab, Afghani Murgh & Chicken tikka from the poultry; Loose fried prawns and Andhra Fried fish from the seafood and Chilly Lamb.
While the plating has been done to perfection, the taste of every dish was good, some of them were juicy, but some were hard. Andhra Fried Fish(boneless) has an amazing taste - It had a thin layer of besan flour and deep fried. Murgh malai kebab, Afghani Kebab and Chicken tikka were soft and juicy. Tandoori chicken was reheated as it had become cold; but upon reheating the chicken turned a little hard. Chily lamb and Loose fried prawns were coated with corn flour and deep fried. when the meat coated with corn flour was deep fried, the meat turned chewy. 

Moving on to the main course, we were served with Nalli Gosht Biryani and Chicken Dum Biryani. Nalli Gosht Biryani had two leg pieces of lamb very tastefully blended with spices, panfried with biryani and served. The strong flavor of the masalas and well cooked meat along with Nallis was very good. Chicken Dum Biryani was served in a pot and it indeed was typical Hyderabad Dum Biryani. The flavor of the biryani rice and tender chicken when mixed with salan was amazing. 

Gulab Jamoon and Kala Jamoon served as part of the desserts were ok. They were not too sweet. 

Summarizing, Taksh  at Kondapur is a good place for Kebabs & Biryanis.

Taksh has now a days become the house of tollywood celebrities owing to the fact that I see one or the other posts of Taksh from tollywood celebrities. It has also fast expanded in the city and has 4 branches across the main locations of the city. Taksh, Kondapur is located in the same place of yester year's Olive House of Kondapur, near Chirec public school. Ambience is simple and neat and hasn't changed much from its old place. It has a seating capacity of about 60 pax with 1 PDR which can accommodate 15 pax. Have already visited their Banjara Hills branch and the ambience there is lot better than this branch. How did the food fare though? Let's find out.

This was a food tasting session and the bill was on the house. Review is true to taste and unbiased in the interest of fellow foodies and the restaurant.

Food :

Soups :

We were served Chicken Manchow, clear Chicken and chicken lung fingers soup. I tasted my favorite from their other branch lung fung. Though the soup tasted good with egg white on top of the soup Mushroom which is one of the ingredients of this, was missing.

Food :

Loose Fried Prawns : Perfectly fried, dipped in corn flour and tossed in a pan with in house sauces, was delicious. It was a little but chewy, but owing to the fact that it was deep fried, it could happen.

Tandoori Chicken : it had the perfect texture in the looks but due to our photo session, they had decided to take back and reheat ( without asking) in an oven. And you would know the result. Reheating Tandoori in oven threw the actual flavors of it and the softness was lost.

Andhra Fried Fish : prepared using korrameenu (sole fish), deep fried with besan flour was amazing. One of the Recommended dishes 👍.

Malai Kebab and Afghani Murgh both uses cashew paste in its preparation and marinating, fared good, if not better.

Pahadi Kebab, which is prepared using Coriander paste marination had super soft chicken chunks and were juicy.

Paneer Tikka though was marinated properly, lacked the freshness in cottage cheese which wasn't as soft as it should be.

Chilli Lamb is another exceptional dish of the night. Shredded Meat coated with corn flour and tossed in schezwan sauce did carry the flavors very well and soft meat added to the taste.

Mains :

After the extensive starters that we had, we limited ourselves with 2 dishes in main course.

Nalli Ghost Biryani : Oh boy, I could still feel the flavors of this gem 💎. Perfectly cooked nalli mixed with kheema masala pan fried with biryani rice was the most splendid dish of the night.

Chicken Dum Biryani : though it was great in taste, I totally got lost in the taste of nalli biryani.

Desserts :

Had Gulab James and kala James and both were tasty. They definitely need to add better dishes to their ending part, as they having nothing much fancy here.

Bottom line : you might have already got the answer to the question in the beginning. Food definitely fared better than its Banjara branch and is definitely recommended for the folks who live around.

Taksh has opened their new branch in kondapur... close to Chirec public school. Visited this place alongwith my foodie friends for a tasting session.

To be frank I didnt have much expectation for this place as it was so underrated and nothing much amazed me in terms of ambiance and service when i entered the place, but Oh Goshhh the food was lip-smackingly delicious to my amaze !!

The Chicken manchow soup and lemon coriander soup were bang on in terms of flavours. The chicken clear soup held a low key note for us...

We were served an array of starters... like kungpao chicken, non-veg tandoor platter and threaded lamb. The chicken starters were all very good, tender, juicy and crispy. Threaded lamb was new in concept but was very chewy and informed the same to the management there !!

And now comes the goodness... the main course. We had the bread-basket (Garlic naan, Kashmiri naan, butter naan and stuffed kulchas) and each and every bread was fresh, crispy with butter and yet soft. The one that stood out for me was "Kashmiri Naan" - though I am not a big fan of Kashmiri naan, but this place gave some serious taste twisters here. It is "THE" dish to be tried here... simply amazing , I can still feel the taste as I am writing this review :D.

On curries we had Amritsari fish masala which was yumm to the core and then there was a white chicken gravy and mutton masala. Everything was such delicately flavoured that i couldnt select my choice from the three.

Biriyani was a no no for me here... these guys specialize for naans and their gravy's BIGGG TYM !

The desserts were a happy ending for us... Gulab jamoon, fruit rabdi and caramel custard - all were true to core in terms of taste, flavour and not to forget the presentation :)

I would recommend this place for their main-course and desserys for sure !! Kudo's to the team and their chef :)

Had an extremely pleasant experience while visitng Taksh-Kondapur on 22nd Nov. The hospitality was awesome and so the food. Mr. Vrindavan ensured that nothing was left to chance and he and his team was there to help us choose the cuisine,try out different items and even helped us have a complimentary desert. All in all, very pleased and would like to visit again

Had an gr8 amazing evening in Taksh kondapur ! The manger here ( Brundaban) is excellent, who welcomed us as well as made us comfortable . Not only that he suggested us right food for right choice and served us with in a span of hardly 10 minutes. Taksh is lucky to have him . I would recommend punjabi chicken curry...which is awesooooome and tasty !!!!! U all must try... and the hot kalajamun...was yummyy !!! Must try here.

This is one of those places in Hyderabad  which is quite underrated as compared to its standards amongst its competitors. Was invited for a tasting session and this review is completely unbiased, based on what was there on menu for us and what it tasted like.

So, this place is situated near cheric public school Kondapur, they got a sober ambience from inside and when you see the same from outside it enlightens your eyes. However, there is some scope of improvement in the ambience and the music played. The staff is new and are trying their level best meet your expectations. 

So we started with soups, then came the starters and then the mains and then finally the desserts to stuff ourselves with each of those amazing delicacies. 

Soups -- 
1. Clear Chicken Soup : There was a scope of improvement in the soup, as it wasn't that thick and the chicken broth used lacked the chicken flavour in it.
2. Chicken Monchow : It was tasty and yum, cooked up to perfection, loved the flavours in it.

3. Chicken Lemon Coriander : This one was okay, the lemon in the soup was very much over powering the soup. However if the lemon content is adjusted well this one would do wonders.

Starters --

1. The Tandoori non-veg platter -  It had mixture of many tandoor items a plate and it was presented well. I liked the flavours of the item in especially the Tagardi Kebab and Tandoori chicken.  
2. Kung pao Chicken - The chicken was cooked perfectly however as the original dish it had the spiciness .

3. The shredded lamb - The quickry quick bites, the small shredded lamb and made pakoras of it.
I loved the concept and the taste of these.

Main Course:

1. The basket of Indian breads -
I tried the garlic naan, Kashmri Naan and butter naan these all were perfectly made and tasted good. The Kashmri Naam(Kashmri Kulcha), as the name suggests sweetness inside topped with fruits and pure ghee stood out of all the breads. One can even try this without any gravy. The romali roti was a bit undercooked and a little as compared to romali rotis you get outside. 
2. The Amritsari Fish Masala - Was good and tasted well.
3. The Chicken Masla - Still brings water to mouth, very well prepared chicken in white gravy, the chicken in it so tender and the flavours bursting out. Recommended....:)
4. The Mutton Masla - Was okay okay for me.

Desserts -- 
1. Caramel custard : One of the best out of the lot, we tasted that day. I ordered one more portion of this as my taste buds were not satisfied with one portion ...:P Very spongy and ammm...  Recommended. 
2. Gulab Jamuns : Perfect amount of sweetness in it.
3. Fruit rabadi : This one also tasted good.

Overall when going for a restaurant, which is very much underrated and not sure why a 2.7 for it. Seriously, they got the wow factor and some amazing dishes in your pocket limits. This place is worth giving a try. Kudoos...!

Latest:Been here for lunch on a weekend dec 2016.t/here was this speciality of the day starter 'grilled chicken skewers' and it was great!!👍👍 Tawa fish was another amazing dish!!👌They even mentioned that pasta was the speciality in main course,which we couldn't try.may be next time😃
Guys u really need to work on your prices.After vat and taxes the bill spikes up like anything.

Visiting a place with a rating below 3 ? Not a good idea for sure but i was bewildered 🤔 after visting this place and this time zomato has failed miserably!

Was invited here for a tasting session with some bunch of foodies. The first impression of this place was somewhat underwhelming with wrong google location and simplified ambience. Was expecting a royal touch to the ambience like the one at banajara hills but anyway its sophisticated in its own way.

Talking about service, staff was very much attentive and host was genial although the staff was new and inexperienced. A little cheers on their face will do the rest. Can't comment on service during random walk in as we were attending a preplanned tasting session.

Now comes the useful part -food 😜:
~soups:
Though we were served MANCHOW SOUP, CLEAR SOUP & LEMON CORIANDER SOUP i was interested in the last one which was near perfect 👌 with a bit extravagancy in lemon juice (my kinda soup as i prefer some extra lemon) . Clear soup on the other hand wasn't welcomed by the other foodies due to its extra runniness and bad flavour.

~ starters:
We were served a variety of following delectable starters -
-NON VEG PLATTER: dainty set of starters all cooked in tandoor includes chicken legs,tandoori chicken, sheek kebab,fish and other chicken starter.
Out of the bunch tandoori chicken was the showstopper where as the other mutton starters need to spend leisurely some extra time in tandoor💥

-KUNG PAO CHICKEN: tasted this recipe for the first time so cant judge on authenticity but overall taste was pretty good.

-CRISPY SHREDDED LAMB: as the name suggests lamb peices were shredded to much to the limit you dont feel the taste anymore. Needs some improvements in this one.

-GRILL HARISHA FISH: perfectly sliced pieces of fish which was succulent and flavourful.

~Main course:
Tried their AMRITSARI FISH MASALA,MURG TIKKA MASALA, MUTTON MASALA and this trio went well with the exceptional breads provided. Murg tikka masala somehow managed to attain that wow factor among all.

~Breads: we were served a variety of breads but just tried two from the lot

GARLIC NAAN - perfect thickness maintaining the crispyness outside with softness inside at the same time with right amount of garlic paste coat. There are very few places which are good at making this roti and this place nailed it.

KASHMIRI NAAN: not sure if this kinda naan exist but they named it kashmiri due to its sweet fillings and the moment you taste this naan you dont give a damn about the name as this one will knock you off right on the button!! 😍. Prepared in pure ghee with sweet kashmiri style fillings between two soft layers. You dont need any gravy with this one. It will surely run down your throat as plain as it is. A MUST HAVE BREAD HERE 👌👌👌

~Biryani: MURG DUM BIRYANI - every meal has its ups and down. Here comes the biggest con of this place which should be renamed anything other than biryani. Being a true biryani lover it hurts more than a wound when you have a terrible pulao in the name of biryani. totally bland rice with unevenly cooked chicken pieces. needs to change the recipe of this one from dusk to dawn

~Deserts:
It was a happy ending with some luscious deserts like
APRICOT DELIGHT: there was no apricot to be seen or felt. The quality of cake used here was very much hard and dry. 👎
KALA JAMUN: this one can't go wrong and it didn't. Usual kala jamun without any complaints
FRUITS RABDI: canned fruits mixed in rabdi which gives a new sense of fruitilicious sweetness which i liked very much.
CARAMEL CUSTARD: This one cant get any better. kudos to the chef for reviving the good ol custard pudding with caramel. This silky smooth desert which was perfectly dulcified stole the show 👌👌👌

Overall a toothsome experience with excellent starters and deserts and not to forget the kashmiri naan! This is the most underrated place i visited in recent times. The management needs to put some extra effort in publicity and the already great food will do the remaining work.

Disclaimer : It was a food tasting event. The review however is completely unbiased.

I checked the ratings when I was called for food tasting and had least expectations from this restaurant. A restaurant rated as low as 2.6 never pops up in your go-to list because you have the filter to chuck out places rated below 3.5. So as I went in I realized that Olive house has been bought and now it is TAKSH! The interiors have not been modified much, the ambiance is pretty simple for a casual dinning. They are also working out on having an open sitting outside the place for some street food kind of thing.

The staff is pretty new but doing pretty well on that front. This place is near chirec which makes the visibility really low and that turns out to be a disadvantage for a place serving good food. A rating of 2.6 is completely not justified. 

So the evening started with soups, which clearly wasn't their USP.
1. Chicken clear needed a lot of improvement. Should have been a little thicker
2.  chicken monchow - Just the way I like it. Thick & the perfect taste.
3. chicken lemon corriander - The right amount of chicken but the lemon was a little more over powering.

Starters - According to me there wasn't any starter which wasnt good. 
1. The tandoori non-veg platter stood out for me - beautifully presented and tasted equally beautiful. 
2. Kung pao chicken was decked up with a lot of peanuts and tasted delicious. 
3. The shredded lamb was a good concept that you wouldn't get everywhere.

Main Course:
1. The basket of indian breads - each and every variety except for rumali roti was made to perfection. What stood out for me was the kashmiri naan - great concept with great taste. One could order it without any curries and enjoy equally. The butter naans had the right amount of butter & that clicked for me :)
2. we tried fish, lamb & chicken curry and each of them was great. What I loved the most was chicken curry! you usually dont get a white coloured chicken curry that woes you :)

Desserts: Caramel custart, gulab jamuns and fruit rabadi - all the desserts were presented in the best possible way and tasted great! Caramel custard was the star of all!

It is really surprising to me that a place rated 2.6 and has decent ambiance serves such good food. And just when you get to know that the chef is from Table then you can relate to the taste and everything! If you live near Chirec, I think this would be your all time go-to place if you taste the food once :)

In contrast to its Banjara hills outlet, Taksh Kondapur has rather chosen to resort to an elementary decor with just the table arrangements.
We reached around 8 pm and the place was entirely vacant. The manager and servers greeted us cheerfully.

We started off with chicken clear soup, chicken manchow soup and lemon coriander soup.
Chicken clear: it was quiet bland with slightly undercooked vegetables. The same was notified to the management and the replacement served was comparatively better.
Chicken manchow : thick soup with chicken and egg. Good in taste with perfect consistency.
Lemon coriander: soup with a strong Lemony flavor giving it a sour taste which went well with the chicken chunks and coriander dressing.

Starters : in the order of recommendation:

1. Grill harisha fish: basa fish coated with zesty mix of spices. A delight!

2. Tandoori non veg platter : a combined serving of chicken, fish and mutton in various preparations. The chicken pieces were cooked well and were soft. The mutton was slightly on the chewy side.
Shredded lamb and Kung pao chicken were also well prepared.

Main course:

A basket of breads had their gem in hiding - "THE KASHMIRI NAAN" : Naan stuffed with pine apple and cherries- this is by far the best and the most innovative naan I have ever tried. All other breads, ( garlic naan, kulchas) were perfectly done. The main course was a delight with the murgh tikka masala and Amritsari fish masala. However, the biryani needed a lot of improvement.

Then came surprise part-II - DESSERTS
Perfect taste and perfect presentation.

Caramel custard pudding : pudding with custard mix. Not very high on sweetness. Superb concoction of custard and pudding
Kalajamun: Uber soft, warm black gulab jamun which will melt in your mouth. Perfect closure to a satiating dinner.

MUST TRY: Kashmiri naan, other variety of Ind@ian breads with chicken curries and ofcourse the desserts!!!

We went there twice for dinner. Food was pretty good both the times. We ordered soups, starters and biryani.. Urvachulu Biryani was awesome.. so was the paneer tikka. They need to work on the ambience and lighting. Its a bit dull. Currently you will see less crowd in the restaurant. might be because its a recently opened branch. They should do some promotions for it so that it should run well.

This branch of Kondapur is newly - opened and is pretty good. I had ordered Chicken 65 as starters with chicken noodles and chicken manchurian. All the dishes were made exceptionally good.

The place was so cool and the view was so awsome... U guys can get some peace there... Its like buddha's place..... Chicken 65 which i ordered was 💞.... The management was very nice... These guys are going well... I have visited Taksh outlet in banjarahills also.... When i am stepping into the Taksh outlet in kondapur..... A little confusion. Whether i could get the marvalleous taste of the banajarhills outlet.. But when once the food was infront of me, i cant stop myself for the flavours of the dish... The same standards are being maintained.... And i personally thanked manager.. For a lovely dinner.. With my frnds... As the manager said that they have one more outlet in RTC 'x' roads and khammam........ Soon i will visit those outlets also....... All the best TAKSH TEAM...

I would like to recommend TAKSH to all my friends and family. The items we ordered are fresh and tested yummy. The ambiance is pleasant and cool. Our team loves to eat spicy food. We have asked to prepare the items spicy. The staff loved to serve to our tastes. We order Tangidi chicken and Spl. chicken biryani. The chicken and rice quality is very fresh. Special mention of Starters Szechwan chicken and Lemon chilly chicken which were one the best of the starters i had till date. The cost is a bit high which is OK for me when i am are getting some extremely quality food. Thank you Taskh, i would love to visit you again.
