Easy to locate, just in the 1st floor of metro station (Hitech city) I visited for my visa renewal . You can reach there by 2 or 4 wheeler, parking is not a problem. Suggest u better go by metro rail, just inside the metro no need to go outside. All the stafff are very well mannered, and co operative. For renewal of visa just carry passport, conformation letter n DS 160. Of course two pass port size 2\2 photos. U can find xerox and other things available just out side the office, for photos these guys take lot of money so be prepared. I entered for renewal , finished my work just in 3 mts, no need to keep ur phone in the lockers which r available in xerox shops out side for price.

Location - 1st floor Metro Station HitechCity Parking - Park in E Galleria Mall (For 3hrs I paid 45Rs/-) There is no seating available, you can sit on the bridge steps. How to reach the center - Park in E Galleria Mall, take lift to G or 1st floor, take another lift to 3rd floor. Mall is connected to metro station over a bridge, use the bridge to reach visa center. Once you enter the center, you will see an escalator. Left to the escalator is the FINGER PRINT line, right to the escalator you will see 2 lines. The one on far right is DROP BOX and one on left is PASSPORT PICKUP(Much bigger line than DROP BOX). FINGER PRINT - Electronics/Bags not allowed, there are paid lockers right next to the lines. DROP BOX/PASSPORT PICKUP - Electronics/Bags are allowed. Documents for H1+H4(Both are not required to show up) - Copy of current I797/previous I797, passport with previous visa both H1/H4 (if this is not the first time), 2+2 photos(H1+H4) make sure the photos are recent; no shadows; white background, DS160 + appointment confirmation make sure no name/address mistakes, Employment Verification Letter. My appointment was at 11:45AM, depending on the number of people in the line they let people whose appointment is 1hr/0.5hr later. They let me in the line at 10:45AM, by the time I reached the counter, it was 11:50AM :-). The agent who handled my case took more time than other agents, was done by 12:15PM. Update :- Visa got issued on 17th, ready for pickup on 18th, picked up on Sunday October 22nd, there was no line, picked up in 5 minutes. I know they are going to ask random id copies so I took copies of aadhar, passport, pancard, drivers license, voter id with me. I gave aadhar copy and they asked for a different one 😁 and gave them drivers they again asked for a different one 😆 then gave them pancard.😂 They took my passport copy, pancard copy. I picked my wifes passport as well, for her a consent letter, her passport copy. All the best.

Advantages - easy car parking at e Galleria mall and direct access from mall to metro station where you see drop box office. No need to travel in train if you go from mall. Better to go half an hour early. They ask for appointment time and allow if you are in current slot. But if yours is next slot you can join at end of line and next slot line is formed soon. So you can save time when your slot time starts. Only 6 seats are there for waiting people. Others have to stand. Please increase number of chairs considering elderly and women with small kids. Security guards dont understand local language. Please recruit people who can speak local language. Waiting time can be reduced by proper planning. We reached at 2.45pm, slot was at 3.15 pm. Done submissions by 4.30pm.

Problem with parking place. Ut good accessible location, convenient for any one as it was under the Hyderabad metro station concourse. Very easily reachable and almost 10 counters are available for dropbox submission and passport pickup. Another problem is that there was only 1 counter for biometrics. So saw a long line there. I visited this location for my dropbox slot. Overall I am very much satisfied as it was really quick.

The only negative is that there is no seating area if you come more than 30-45 minutes before your slot. Everything else about the process is good. My slot was at 2:30. Asked us to get on a queue at 2:00. Verified the docs (passport, appointment confirmation and DS160) while we assembled. Was done with the entire process (including fingerprints submission) by 2:30. There are locker services available (@ ~ Rs.150) right below the metro station. Parking is available under the mall right next to it.

Staff are well mannered, this center is located at 1st floor of hi-tech City metro station, you can park the vehicle on road only, Pl check any corrections in DS160 before visiting the center your DS160 form submission date should be below one year of appointment date otherwise create new DS160 , there are number of shops for updating DS160 they are charging Rs500/ - per one DS. Overall very good. No Electronic accessories allowed inside

I had a great experience yesterday (6th Dec, 2023) at Hyderabad US VAC. I submitted documents for H1b visa renewal through the dropbox process. I took a cab and got down at the HITEC metro station. There are clear instructions/directions to the VAC on the street level. There is also a set up for printing/editing documents and taking passport pictures. I am not sure if they have cloak room capacity. You can take stairs or elevator (from the sidewalk) to 'lower concourse' level where there are around 8-10 counters for dropbox appointments in the lobby. There are no chairs to sit and there are a lot of people (when I went). There is water to drink. Phones are allowed as long as you do not have step inside the VAC office. For dropbox appointments, you do not have to enter the VAC office but I did (see below). There are VAC employees who will direct you to the appropriate queue (biometrics, passport collection, dropbox appointment). Coming to my experience, I was supposed to drop off my documents in Chennai VAC. Because of the cyclone there, The VAC was closed and I traveled to Hyd VAC hoping that they will accept my documents. The VAC employee was kind enough to let me enter the line after talking to his superior/s on the phone. The line was long and as it was close to the business end of the day, they allowed a few people at a time inside the VAC office (where biometric appointments are conducted) to make things move faster. I was asked to go inside. When it was my turn at the counter, I was asked to submit my VAC appointment letter, DS-160 confirmation letter, my passport with the last US visa in it, copies of all my I-797s from that last visa (including my last visa's associated I-797), employment confirmation letter, and 2 passport photos. As my photos had shadows and were not acceptable, I was given back all my documents and told to come back with new pictures right away. They were nice about it without any exasperation or attitude even though it was close to end of their long day. As mentioned earlier, I came back downstairs to the street level where there is a set up on the side walk for pictures (as discussed earlier). My passport pictures were taken, edited, and printed (2 pics) within 10 minutes for Rs.250. I went upstairs again and was ushered back into the office where I submitted the documents again. Overall, I spent approximately 100 mins there for the entire process. I was told that the wait times could be longer especially for folks who may show up a few hours before their appointment times as they only allow folks to enter the dropbox line 15-30 mins before their scheduled time.

I went for the dropbox. Parked my car in E galleria mall in basement. Took elevator to 1st floor, then another elevator in front of coffee shop to 3rd floor and walked thru the aisle to visa center. The leftmost queue is for Biometric while rightmost area is for Dropbox. The mobile is allowed in dropbox area though I am not sure about mobile in biometric area. For visa renewal, the guy asked me for 2 photos though the listed doc requirement is only for 1 photo.

Security process is hapazard, I went on Monday and there was crowd and since it is one floor(first floor) Lower concourse there is mess from other floors of the building. I went alone and had difficult time searching for 10 mins, the locker and printing facility is available below the VAC Visa Application Centre, but print outs are hefty amount, 1 black and white page print costs 15₹. Locker(Near NIFT Gate 2, jubilee hills exit side metro point) i used for phone and wallet costed 100₹. I stayed for around 2 hours. Go early and talk to other applicants or the visa service people near the queue with board inside, those are the only help you would find useful. I went 50 mins early, but messed up my DS160 form due to it was old, they helped me and said it is okay to take time and re create the form and take print out, so it took 2.5 hours total for my process getting done. Parking not sure, I came in bike cab, but there were cars parked below metro stations and cops will also be there sometimes. Hope this helps. The locker people also help in DS forms filling but they charge a lot, i heard around 500 just for resubmitting. So better be prepared or keep your contacts handy during this time and it will be smooth and they do allow late time too for VAC atleast.

This place js.just inside the Metro station and in first floor. The best way to get it is thru metro station and take exit towards the Visa Consulate. The local shops provide locker options to store the valuable and charge btw ₹100-₹250.
