The place is very neat and the chat tastes soooo good.
The best chat i have ever had!! But a little bit expensive. Each chat costs around 60-70 but the money is worth the item!!

Superb chat items! I would rate this place as 4.2/5. Lovely pani puri , Dahi Bhalla , grilled sandwiches , samosa ragda & falooda! Very happy with the taste , quality and hygienic compared to other chat places.
Every thing is very good but rates are little high and i would recommend the owner to add his restaurant with food delivery zomato or uber eats so that one can order food from home and enjoy

On a quick note to start with, the place provides quality in each of it's items be it chat or sweets. The pricing may seem a bit high for some but it is worth the quality provided. located on the main road heading towards patny circle this place can be reached out easily. The ambience is decent with limited seating and good standing space. Do check out the dahi items here ;-)
The closest to North Indian gupchups we could find in what little we've explored Hyderabad is in Ratanlal.
What we love the most about this place is the cleanliness. The staff is very courteous as well.
The server wears gloves while serving you gupchups.

The only thing we feel that they could do, especially when they are making north indian snacks, is that they could start preparing the kachori and samosa like most snack outlets do in the north. By adding curd, chilli paste, tamarind or dry mango paste, fresh onions and spices.
All in all, Ratanlal is our go to place to satisfy our cravings from time to time

Have been there... They have a great variety of sweets, savouries and chats. Cost effective. I like their panipuri. I have even bought some milk sweets which, with the display, I can say, are hygienic. I can give it a 3.5/5.
They serve everything that we expect to have a desi tadka on. It's best enjoyed during the evening when our tastebuds pray for gobbling on to some gorgeous feast of snacks accompanied with milkshakes , desserts etc .. They have them all with finest quality , I've had a platter of chole bature and lassi topped with faluda, tasty essence and the most of all is the rabdi with which it's made ! I've got my stomach brimmed up my only having these two. Such was the quality and quantity of the food items here. Highly recommend you guys to Chole bature here for once In a lifetime as bature are made in pure ghee with coriander and chole has paneer inside along with onions , aloo achari , mirch served separately

A great place for snacking on North Indian snack items as well as mithai's. Never has the place disappointed - be it Chaat items or samosa's or anything else. One must try the Kaju Katli. Haven't had better in Hyderabad till date.
I think this place has some really amazing and authentic North Indian food items.
The fact that most of the items are cooked in Pure ghee which gives it an amazing aroma!
The cheese Pav bhaji is to die for, with a perfect balance of spicy taste and the generous amount of cheese to balance it out.
The chhola bhatura and the samosa chaat have a very authentic North Indian taste to them. The best part is the balance of spices, nothing is over the top.
The Imarrti was very delicious, and not over sweet unlike many other restaurants.
Even the Gujarati khaman was made very nicely, with the garnish of coconut and chillies and their softness adding to the beautiful taste!

This place has been around for almost 9 years but I'd never visited the place until about 2 weeks ago after which I've already been there thrice! :D Talk about making a customer come back for some quality food!
So my first visit to Ratanlal was a regular one for purchasing some sweets! They've got two absolute beauties in this section with their Caramel sweet and Chocolate Badam Ferrero Rocher sweet just setting the bar way too high! I've never tasted such varieties in sweets in any of the neighboring sweet shops or in any other sweet shop in Hyderabad for that matter.
Their Anjeer Sweet is also another delightful addition to their sweet arsenal.
It was about 5pm and I was told that they had just made fresh samosas and if you're a fan of Punjabi samosas, Ratanlal is THE place to visit! Having had 4 samosas, I thought I'd just go all out and get a dessert as well. I ordered a Faluda Kulfi and a Badam milk. I cannot describe in words how blissful it was after I'd devoured these desserts in a matter of minutes! This place is a must visit if you're in the area!
At the end of the meal, as if it wasn't enough that I'd eaten so much already, I even got a Chole Bhatura takeaway. Really love this place!

Me and my friend decided to skip the dinner and head out to this spacious sweet MAHAL (you would also agree post seeing the size of this sweet house) and the place is kept so clean that you wouldn't nude eating here with your family and friends.
We started off with Pani Puri which has two types of Pani which has perfect mix of spice and sweet. Post which we ate Tikka Ragada which is deep fried in purest form of clarified butter (Ghee) and the quality used to make this is just awesome. My friend also tried Dhokala which is topped with some chutney and sev on special demand.
As dessert, we ate Rasi Malai and man! What do I say!! This is perfectly sweeten and not over sweeten like how others make and at last the owner saw us enjoying the sweets and recommended us to have their session special... this is the mammoth on taste buds... Mr. Prem (Owner) himself made us this special and folks... I must admit, of dead could taste this than I am sure they will haunt him day and night for this dish. By the way, this special item name is "Natural Mango Kulfi" which had non preserved fresh Mango cut along with Kulfi and topped it with Mango Rabdi and some secret ingredient which tasted AWESOME!!
I highly recommend this place and when you make a visit, make sure you get in touch with Prem who will surly suggest some dishes which will tickle your taste buds, in a good way!

Usually kachori is my first option when ever i go to this place..during my last visit i hv tried rabdi which became my fav after that.. pani puri is also good.. overall a good place for sweets and chat
A quite good place when lookin for some chat of good quality. The ambience can get better but being a sweet shop it is considerably good. The sweets are quiet nice. I'm fond of chat that's available here.
Cheese pav bhaji is an absolute no miss. So do try that out..! The place can be a little costly when compared to the quantity of food they provide. But still the quality and the tastes are absolutely something to drop by and have. Kulfis have real fruits and really loved it. But definitely could get better...

This place deserves a special mention for the sweets they offer. The best sweets here are paneer jalebi, mal pua with rabdi, kachori they are the best here. don't miss those sweets for sure they shall be superb.

If you ever plan on eating the Delhi style aloo poori or the crunchiest and juiciest jalebi ever, then Sri Ratanlal is the right stop for you. I went there for a Sunday breakfast. The place doesn’t really have much of an ambience but cares a lot for neatness and quality. The aloo poori was the best that I ever had and I couldn’t stop myself from having another bite of jalebi. My all-time favourite is kachori and samosa and if u have sweet tooth, then u must definitely try almond and caramel gujiya. I even tried different flavours of Kulfi. The usual kesar badam was just the way I like it, the custard apple flavour was decent and almond Kulfi was surprisingly delicious. The perfect end to the brunch was chocolate Panipoori which had right explosion of flavours with its crisp base, fresh fruits and the whipped ice cream on the top. I would definitely suggest you to try this place once.
This is my fav place for sweets and chats. The royal "Paneer Jalebi" is extraordinarily delicious and a MUST TRY. Their "Kothmir Badi" is ultimate and delicious. Varieties in Pav Bhaji are very relishing, especially Pav Manchurian. Their Grilled Sandwich is quite stuffy and tasty. Their collection of sweets & khara are always fresh (and stay fresh even after a week or so (non-milky items). A SURE VISIT place on RP Road. V often order for office parties too

Iam basically like the chat very much. In secunderabad area none of the place chat is good. But u can find good chat items in this ratanlal mithai shop. Recently i had a paneer and cheese pav bhaji. really i liked very much of pav bhaji. in secunderabad area i can prefer the Ratanla lMithai shop for Good quality of chat items.
iam visiting again and again. today also i had bhelpuri and dhokla both are really good. my daughter like their rosgolla very much.

I am not a big fan of sweets but the sweets here are really good. Some of them are Unique or one can say 'secret recipes' which cannot be found elsewhere ( that's the trick of most sweetshops) and the taste and making are a surprise. I do not remember the names but the one I simply cant forget was a sweet made of tender coconut served in a small earthen container.
Coming to the snacks...
I am a big Samosa fan and this place serves delicious samosas, just the way I like them. :D Best are the chutneys served alongside. The sweet chutney has dryfruits in it and I can never waste even a drop of it.
Dhokla!!! Yes, this place serves the best dhoklas I have ever tasted. We had ordered dhoklas for some 20 guests some time back. They were spongy and slightly moist, exactly the way they are supposed to be and everyone was full of praises.
From the Chat family, this place serves many varieties and paneer, butter, cheese and Jain pav bhaji from the Pav Bhaji family.
The quality of food and the taste stands out. The place is kept clean and hygiene is maintained throughout.
It is a popular hangout amongst the locals around, mostly the marwadi community (recommended to me by one of them).

Sri Ratan lal a branch of famous Balaji Ratanlal kacheguda started around 4 years back on RP road main road Secunderabad. Since then became regular visitor for amazing sweets , snacks(specially dhokla) and chats. Each time my family demands bengali sweets I visit this place. We tried almost all bengali sweets and they recently started chats. And during sankranthi season one should not miss their soooooper Malai gewar which is one of the best in town. Surprised when i could not find this place in Zomato, requested zomato ppl to add this for which they responded positively. :) This place is worth to be here.
On recent visit, found that they started Chole Bhature. As chole batura lovers, ordered for the same. Got from their live counter after two minutes. Served two big nice tasty batures with chole, alu stuff and green chutney. Baturas tasted too good and did not find much oily. The stuffed leafy veggies added more taste.The chole tasted yum with nicely cooked chole and masalas. Potato dish too tasted good while green chutney was just awesome. Each and every item in the plate was delicious and I literally licked my fingers till last dot :P More over two are good for two people fills tummy. Later went for Pani puri which also tasted too good. They serve in sweet(red) and hot(green) pani which are pretty good and one of the best panis I have ever tasted :) Overall as usual its good exp.

Loved the response and dedication of the staff, the ambience could have been better, lot of houseflies, Masala Pav Bhaji was 5/5 bang on, one of the best I had in a long time, Pani puri was expensive 8 pieces for 50rs😭, but worth the taste, the puri shell was crispy, the pani was spicy and the aloo stuffing perfectly complimented the combination, worth the visit
