The security people should show some respect towards the public and US consulate should provide proper waiting place with shelter. Should not make wait on roads for long hours… only maintaining the good work place is not enough but also should make some common sense for how to treat people.
People complaining abt parking, I too had apprehensions regarding parking of my 4 wheeler. But, Today 05/10/23, i visited the place. There is Spacious Parking place right opposite to Consulate.,at IT Corridor, Police Cheque Post. Just cross Consulate, take right turn. Its just 100 mtrs from the Cons

I had a great experience here when I visited for my B1/B2 Visa interview. There is no Visitor’s parking or seating for accompanying guests. There are locker services behind the compound, which is a short walk from the main gate.
Only visa applicants allowed , for others u have to stand out side the road so plan carefully please come in less numbers
Consulate is well laid for the convenience of the Visa applicants
Staff is quite helpful at all levels
They should consider to provide / arrange a decent waiting hall to the people who are waiting for their turn
Map location shows wrong and they allowed 30 mins before to your slot and there is no stationery and hotels in their surroundings
Go to consulate atleast 1 hour prior to your visa interview time. Your parent or guardian can stay in front of consulate under the trees without any problem
Today visited embassy for renewal of my kid US passport, completed within 1 h, nice place,security persons and staff are friendly, polite and informative. Only concern is no car parking and no waiting area for the family members.
