Clean place, a very good option for vegetarians. Good spread available too. Their lunch thali is worth a try. If they could use less of cleaning agents for their floors or tables it would be nice though...the detergent odour hits you the moment you enter. Thankfully though the food and dishes don't smell that way.

We've visited this place during lunch time, we ordered paneer 65 from starters and veg soft noodles from main course. The taste of the food was good. The service men look in a hurry but the service was on time.
As far as i know this is the only pure vegetarian restaurant in that belt.

Firstly I am not a really big fan of vegetarian restaurants.
After hearing good reviews from my family members I visited this place on my birthday just for a casual lunch with family.
The ambience is amazing and I was surprised to see such good ambience in a restaurant in Kompally.
We ordered cream of mushroom and tamato soup, Manchuria, Paneer butter masala, butter Naan, dahi wada.
Cream of mushroom - The soup definitely lives upto its name. It is very thick and full of cream with good amount of mushrooms. Definitely yummy.
Tamato - The soup was good but ull not find much Diff in taste compared to other restaurants.
Manchuria - They were amazing. The flavor was amazing with the exact crispy texture you would want in a Manchuria.
Paneer butter masala - Let me tell you. I felt that this was one of the best Paneer butter masala I've ever tasted. The gravy was really thick and had many paneer pieces and very good amount of butter.
Dahi wada - This was heavenly. The curd was super super yummy with 2 big Wada's.
Overall I would strongly recommend this place to everyone and especially the ones who love veggie food.

The restaurant is excatly opposite of cineplanet theatre. Me along with my family visted this place after watching a movie in cineplanet. I wanted to visit this place after seeing the rating and reviews on zomato which were pretty good for a restaurant in kompally as many restaurants there dont have good ratings and its a pure veg restaurants so i prefered visiting it rather than other restaurants in that area. The Restaurant is located at a very good place, I didn't have trouble parking my car as parking was easily available the Restaurant had a very simple yet nice look from outside as we reached the enterance the guard opened the gate for us and wished us good evening, I liked this gesture a lot as other restaurants dont show to the customers . As we entered the restaurant we were welcomed by the waiter and he took us to our reserved table which we reserved in the afternoon by calling the restaurant.

The Manchuria tasted really good and were really crispy and hot and paneer tikka was spicy and good and the paneer was soft and tender. The panner butter masala tasted really good and spicy being a north indian we love spicy food and good thing about the restaurant was we were asked about the spice in the curry and other stuff. Butter naan was good and the veg fried rice was the best i liked it very much just one thing i did not like was the cool drink as it was not chilled and did not have fizz. Overall the experience was good and was quite reasonable finally i want to rate

Tasting season. On the house.
It's not very often that you find such pleasant restaurants in this part of the city. The usp of this place has to be a pure veg restaurant. I guess this is the only one in this area.
Location : opp to cineplex multiplex. It's easy to locate on our way back to the city.
Interior : they have got pleasant interiors. They have sitting for 50-60 pax and a PDR. I just love the interiors of the PDR section which can sit 20-25 ppl..
To start with they have an all day breakfast options . Serving all the south Indian options . Even though we were here for a lunch we tried a few of them.
Onion Rava dosa was perfect. Pessarattu dosa was decent and had a nice upma stuffing in it. Some how the masala Dosa disappointed me . The chutneys and dosa were good.
Soup : cream of mushroom was good and different from other places. Veg manchow soup was good. Noodles cup didn't tickle my taste buds. As it was a bit blunt.
Starters :
Sezwan baby corn was my fav. Nice spicy and crispy baby corns. Mushroom barwan was good.
Paneer nawabi tikka was nice and spicy properly marinated.
Chilly paneer and paneer achari Tika were not that gr8.
The south Indian thali is surely a value for money priced at 160/- they have an unlimited thali. The thali was good decent variety . Just a touch more spicy is what I like it to be.
Veg chettinadu curry was the perfect and the best dish of the day. Spicy the flavours and the blend was just perfect. Garlic Naam and masala kulcha went very good along with it. A must try here as the main chef (who was on leave that day ) is from chettinadu region .
The veg biryani again was a something amazing. The flavours were just perfect .
Fried rice was decent
Fruit punch and lime soda were good companion.
Gulab jamun and carrot halwa to finish a good lunch.
The service was on the point.
Now coming to the menu. They have regular dishes nothing special in the menu but you won't be disappointed with the taste . they have confirmed us that they will be making a few changes to it.

On a summer Sunday on the invite from the restaurateurs, we decided to hail here from the other part of the city. The restaurant is a pure vegetarian one with an ambience that laces up with white and green. But the restaurant being by the side of the highway, make sure you don't miss the service road to reach the place.
The restaurant has an all dining section as we enter which can easily accomdate 40-50 Pax and if we take a right and go further, we can see the private dining space for about 20-25 pax which is simplistic yet way too serene and can make for a great family dinner. They don't charge service charge and charge VAT lesser than the usual 14.5%. They do have all day south Indian breakfast. But on looking at the menu, one thing that disappointed me was that the items were too usual and the menu doesn't really provide a wide range of choices. But the owner told us that it would be revamped soon and a better and attractive menu is on it's way on wheels.
As this was a tasting session, I can't really comment on the service but my observations told me that there was enough staff to handle the requests from all the available tables there. We started off with soups, which were good but not very great. Next up were the tandoori dishes with Panneer and Mushrooms.
Panneer Nawabi Tikka could have been better if the Panneer was softer and the marination was completely applied. The problem was that after taking Panneer on skewers, the marination might have been applied making the bottom of each piece left untouched which made it bland on that side.
Mushroom Bharwan was tasty at first bite but as I chewed on, I realised that the mushroom actually have a very less filling inside and it was like I was just chewing on the mushroom with no spices. It could be made better and the feedback was taken positively.
Panneer Achari Tikka went bad with marination and I can clearly make out the difference in the spices that were used. Not only was it low on the spice level, the marination felt different from what I had previously. I thought tandoor might not be their forte.
Schezuan Baby Corn just stole all the praises on the table because of the crisp-tender and juicy fresh babycorn and the natural schezuan sauce. It was a clear hit for all of our taste buds.
Chilly panneer was also a better one than many other appetizers and we understood that Indo-chinese is something that they are dishing out good here.Β
We could see the thalis being served to other tables which actually looked quite nice and we requested to get one for our table so that we can sample it. We were told that the main chef, who hails from the Chettinad region was not present that day. But I thought that a thali at that side of the city in such ambience priced at 160 is decent enough. It doesn't have much variety but just enough to call it a South Indian meals. We thought Sambar and dal could have been spicy and the rest was fine.
In Main Course, I requested for their kitchen special, that is Veg Chettinad. The gravy was creamy thanks to the usage of poppy seeds and coconut. The usage of cloves and red chilli gave it a spicy after taste but I felt they used garam masala in stead of Kalpasi because of which the smoky hotness in the taste was missing. But the garlic naan and the veg chettinad was as amazing as it could be that day.
The Masalas in the Biriyani that we had was a little different to the other places but it was on a good note. It was aromatic, well balanced in spices and the fried onions, the creamy raita made it very easier for me to hog a plate myself in no time.
To soothe ourselves after the meal, we were served with a good glass of fruit punch by the hospitable restaurateurs. The gajar ka halwa and the gulab Jamun both didn't go wrong but to me Gajar Ka Halwa became the favourite as each spoon had the generous creaminess of the added Khova.
This place definitely becomes a potential option if one chooses to dine in a pure veg restaurant in this part of the city in a simplistic ambience. The economical pricing is anyway an added bonus.
Before going to any new restaurant (place which I havent visited yet), I often open Zomato or foodie groups to check out the place, reviews and their menu. So was the case with #Ruciraa and felt that the menu was pretty simple with regular dishes (not that a place shouldnβt have such menu, just that I expected something different from their uncommon name).
I was recommended though my colleagues in sainikpuri.

I never knew that vegetarian can be so yummy and can be presented or cooked in different ways. Try panasupandu biriyani which will make you feel as if you are eating chicken biriyani.

It's a great surprise to found such a decent and sober ambience Restaurant in Kompally. As today is my son's birthday we all went this place as this is pure vegetarian restaurant which is preferred by my mom. We took butter Naan, Paneer Butter Masala, Curd Wada and North India Thali. All items are very good but the butter naan is little rubbery. Staff is courteous. The interiors are fantastic and pleasant. But the cooling is not up to the mark. Restaurant is very clean and hygiene gives us the confidence to venture out any item. The rate card is OK and value for money compared to the similar restaurants. A perfect family dining area. Thanks to Rajsekhar who took the guest caring very well.

Medchal/Kompally highway was popularly known for its Dhabhas previously but this stretch is developing rapidly and a noticeable change can be seen in its image and living standards. In this scenario, there is a definite need for good casual and fine dining restaurants in this area and as a relief from this drought, RUCIRAA, a pure vegetarian casual dining restaurant, has opened its doors a couple of weeks ago.
Ruciraa is loacted right opposite to Cine Planet and adjacent to PSR Convention Center. You'll have to take the service road and it is located on the ground floor of new commercial building (yet to be named). It has ample parking space and it is open from 7:30 AM to 10:30PM, serving you breakfast and evening snacks as well. With no such restaurants in the neighbourhood offering this kind of a convenience in the time and spread of menu, Ruciraa seems to have a good potential to flourish. You can convinenently visit this place either for a quick meal while on journey or for a leisure trip with family and friends.
The restaurant is strikingly visible for its classy name neatly designed on the board at the entrance. This place is a pleasant looking casual dining restaurant with simple yet classy interiors. A part of the kitchen is open and I must specifically mention that the visible part of the kitchen is really clean and hence gives us a feeling that our food is being prepared hygienically. It also has a kind of private dining area.
Their menu has a good mix of South Indian, North Indian, Chinese, Tandoor varieties to choose from. They even have good varieties in breakfast and evening snacks too. Here, i must tell a point which has bothered me, no offence but i felt that somehow their single page/card like menu is hampering the entire look of the restaurant. The place has got much higher standards than having such a simple looking menu card. Also, the placement of the dishes in the menu was a little confusing and out of order. I suggest them to redesign their menu for a classy look to improve the overall look and feel.
Prices are pretty affordable and the quantities are quiet sufficient, hence it is a definite value for money. All their dishes are presented well. We ordered:
North Indian Thali (had lot of varieties in it and each one of it was tasty)
Cream of mushroom soup (creamy, tasty and had the right flavor of mushrooms)
panneer makhmalai tikka (an outstanding starter with fresh, juicy and succulent panneer which was well marinated in mild spices and grilled to perfection)
Seasami sheek kebab (this was pretty good in taste and flavour and the crust was crunchy too)
Chilli garlic fried rice (a well spiced rice dish with rich flavor of garlic and unlike any regular fried rice, the use of oil was very limited)
On the service front, staff is cordial enough and are prompt in responding. Also, the service is pretty fast.
Overall, its a thumbs up for this place, Ruciraa has tasty food and pleasant ambience to spend some 'time and money' on food. I really hope that they maintain their current standards in the future as well.

Today I happened to visit Ruciraa restaurant at kompally. I usually take that route quite often and I have eaten at all the places in the NH7 stretch. To my surprise the restaurant serves vegetarian only. I was wondering whether this was a good idea to just have a vegetarian menu considering heavy competition from surroundings. But I was completely wrong when I ordered my soup, starter and vegetable biryani. I ordered a creamy veg soup and a paneer achari tikka. I have never eaten such a delicious, soft and juicy paneer tikka and I am not kidding!! It was amazing. The cream of veg soup was really tasty and was just right with the correct combination. I would give it 4/ 5 and for the paneer tikka I would give it 5/5. What do I say about the Biryani you might think I am exaggerating but this was one heck of a biryani. Even non veg lovers who just eat chicken or mutton biryani would love the veggie biryani served at ruciraa. The amount of spice, masala and vegetables in the biryani would relish your taste buds and you will come back for this one more time. I have eaten veggie biryani at paradise, bawarchi and minvera but you just cant compare that with Ruciraa's biryani. This is a must try for all the visitors. The staff was all pumped up and the service was really good. If you love spicy food please ask for double masala and you will love it. I would definitely recommend Ruciraa and Im sure I would be dropping in for Lunch more often. Its good bye other restaurants and welcome Ruciraa.
