It was worth it, but I didn't like the khichdi. Could have also had more variety on the sweet probably.
The khichdi was alright. But overall a good experience for a change in the usual taste
If you want to find out what Gujrati and Rajasthani flavors taste like, then visit Rajdhani. It is great dining in a restaurant for vegetarians. Dal - Baati- Churma is very popular among the crowd. The food is served in huge copper vessels. Usually starts with Gujrati Dhokla, Kachori, Dahi Puri followed by Rajasthani dishes. It is value for money! Be assured that you will be pampered throughout.
Rajdhani - this place has got a very simple ambience. They welcome you in a traditional North Indian way at the entrance and you are surely going to feel more like a guest than just a customer.

The staff is really helpful and they explain you each and every single dish. We started off with jeera water which helps us in digestion and continued with a wide spread of dishes and ended the meal with butter milk.

Have ordered the executive thali as takeaways twice now and was pleasantly surprised.. Food includes a Farsaan( snack) 4-5 rotlas brushed with ghee ( small roties), daal and 2 curries,rice, papad, pickle.All curries and Daal are neatly packed in small plastic boxes, and rice in paper box, everything bunched together in a thali like box.. very convenient to eat while working... tastes good too.. But it's expensive for the prices they charge and the quantities they serve.

Eating at Rajdhani is always a good experience. However, this time for some reason the food didn't taste as great. The subjis weren't rich in flavor and were on the spicier side.
The Paneer was good. Enjoyed the Khichdi the most. Jalebi was also very good.

->Dal Bati Churma- A taste of Rajasthani cuisine is incomplete without this dish. The best thing in thali. ( A mouth watering dish).
It is the best place place for vegans. The ambience was pretty good. And the service was good.

Hospitality and Taste blend in perfectly with honesty to give you a unique experience. We wanted our 90+ years grand parents to have an scrumptious dinner and we had no regrets going to this restaurant. We were not aware of any offer for Sr Citizens but they made us aware of the offer and have 60% off for super senior citizens, really appreciate the honesty.
Well if you are damn hungry and want to fill your tummy with authentic Rajasthani varities then go for this place.
My tummy was full, trying to taste every item on the line.
And last but not the least don't forget to take the Aamchur balls at the exit :P
This is a place you will go to for great and unlimited food.
However, beware if you have kids below 5yrs. They refuse to give a plate for them and charge them for a kid meal if you insist for a plate. This is the only restaurant where we had to pay for such a young kid.

They also serve special delicacies from Gujarat and Rajasthan.

Taking you to a Rajasthani spree with a meal including everything from Dahi Bhalla, Potli kachodi, Dhokla to a grand thali of Dal baati choorma, Dahi ke aloo, Paneer korma, Meethi daal, Aakha moong daal, Khichda, Rotla, Poori, Missi roti and mouth watering deserts like Rabdi- jalebi and Kesar sheera. The show stealer was the teekhi lehsun k chutney though!

Whenever I think of having an authentic Veg Thali, the first name that strikes my brain is RAJDHANI THALI!! Love the way they serve food!! Reminds me of my Grand-Mom!! 😄 Very cordial and polite!! One thing that didn’t bother me here is, they didn’t request for reviews!! Will definitely give 5/5 for their service. Food was awesome as ever!! One star less for Dhokla!! It was not up to the mark (Was a little hard and not like the regular dhokla I have). Something that immediately strikes you about this restaurant is the service, smile and the hospitality. Famous for its authentic vegetarian Rajasthani Thali, this restaurant doesn't disappoint. Loved their chutneys, diff types of rotis - bajra, jowar, thepla and their authentic deserts - kheer, jalebi rabdi.. For me the show stealer was their khichdi with ghee, topped with garlic chutney and papad kadhi!
A very good place to enjoy a complete and perfect North Indian Thali. I've mainly enjoyed the rotis in chotti size with ample of subjis. All subji were delicious. Even the papad and sweet gulab jamun. I mainly liked the packaging of Thali in that grand dabba😁. Even though the quantity was less but sufficient for one person not tummy full but "manpasand" khaana. Would try more foods at this place.
If u are a pakka gujarati (including pure jain) or rajasthani and have to travel outstation quite a times....and looking to satisfy your mind, wallet and stomach at the same time, i suggest head straight to RAJDHANI chain of restaurant. Meal box is also gud and sufficient. Its a whole meal in itself, and yes not forgetting sounf, mukhwas, mint in the end which truly completes our whole meal.

It's a best place to have an authentic Rajasthani thali. From washing your hands to exiting, you would experience a Rajasthani culture. Every dish served from daal baati to dessert was simply great and drinks were also good. Service was quick and attentive too. Make sure your stomach has enough space once you visit this place. Must visit place. A mix of Gujarati and Rajasthani thaali leaves one eating their mouth full. Do visit on Tuesdays also as the price gets nearly half as compared to other days. The waiters serving are attentive and doesn't keep you in a limbo.

Mango season and Aam festival going on, luckily it got extended till 1st week of June also.
No need of introduction to this Thali, starters weren't that tasty this time, rest of all were ultimately delicious.
My personal favorite items, khichdi, mal puri with rabdi, Chas, aloo Parathas, sweet mango recepies by Gujarati cuisine and unique doodhi kakadi sabji.
Special mention to their chilled mango juice, which is so cool, smooth and goes into your stomach and makes you feel like floating in this hot summer climate.

Rajdhani is located at: Banjara hills and Kukatpally (the locations for the same are given below). It works on a thali-based system (with that being the only available option). A thali costs 400-450/- on an average every day, but with a special discount on Tuesdays. On Tuesdays the thali costs only a 250/- rupees.
Nice ambience and food quality. A delight for people who love Rajasthani Thali. Food is unlimited and priced reasonably. People who prefer pure vegetarian restaurants would find this place just made for them.

Rajdhani Thali Restaurant was on my wishlist from a very long time and finally I was invited for food review session by the Management. Rajdhani Thali Restaurant is running their famous AAMLICIOUS festival which will end on 31st May.
The place is having ample of parking space for both two and four wheelers. The restaurant is located on the first floor. As soon as you enter you're greeted with great hospitality. The Ambiance is quite pleasant and perfect for Rajasthani theme.
They serve 25+ food items and during AAMLICIOUS festival many of the items are made of Mango. We stared with Mango Pizza Dhokla and Kairi Surti Plaza. I liked the concept of customised Pizza and Dhokla with Mango toppings.
Then we had Mango Dal Churma, Mango Dal Dhokli, Paneer Mix Veg, Cabbage Tomato, Aloo Rasawala, Choule Masala and Aam ki Launji.
They served various types of Dal which consisted of Kairi Surti Dal, Dal Tadkewali and also Bhindi Kadhi.
Along with this we had Phulka, Puri, Khoba Roti and Kairi Aloo Jeera Paratha. In Rice we had Jeera Rice, Moong Dal Khichdi and Curd Rice.
In Deserts, we had Aamras, Kaju Mango Halwa, Mango Jalebi with Rabdi. The taste of all the dishes was very nice and it was a very different experience for me.
They serve all these massive number of items at Rs 500+ taxes. I felt the price is quite reasonable when compared with the taste and food they're serving. Also, they serve same thali at 275+ taxes on Tuesday.
If you're looking for typical Rajasthani cusine then Rajdhani Thali Restaurant is highly recommended.

3. Halwa - average
4. Thepla with curry - thepla had stiffened and become very hard. It needs to be soft.
5. Puranpoli - again it had dried up and become hard.
6. Dal nasty churma - good.
Packaging and hygiene is good. Roti items need improvement.
One of the best thali food I have eaten.. packaged very well and rotis were coated with ghee as I was expecting which made them much better.. and the gulab jamun was better than that of sweet shops..
It was lovely little place, food was just delicious, & with the mango season going on, the mango dishes were just so yummy, especially aamras, so cool & refreshing

It is One of the Most Hygienic Veg Thali Restaurant offering Rajasthani , Gujarati , North Indian Thali. Dishes served here are the most tasty and Eye Feasting. Each Dish has it's own unique taste. Tummy is usually full with all these dishes served. One should definitely visit this place and enjoy all the dishes in the veg thali served . Service is very polite & the food served have almost all the important varieties in Rajasthani cuisine & Gujarati cuisine .
The pricing is very reasonable & its value for money to have a fine dining here.

The best part being the food is healthy and enriching. You will get to see mix and match of different flavours combined to give a perfect taste to the customers. This restaurant is definitely worth visiting.
The first thing you will notice on entering the restaurant is the ambience and the hospitality. The hospitality in particular is among the best that I have experienced. I was here to try the new mango flavored thali. I was overwhelmed by the kind of variety on offer.
The best part was that the taste was mild and not dominating in the recipe, which enabled it to maintain its originality.
Still the taste of mangoes in daal and curries is lingering in my mind. Highly recommended during this mango season.

Aamlicious Thali --- Mango Festival @ Khandani Rajdhani Spring has already passed and the hot scorching summer is here. But somehow I like Summer only because it's the season of the King of Fruits, yes you got me right, it's the time of Mango, most of our favorite fruit. You barely find someone who doesn't like Mango. So when we received the invitation from the renowned restaurant chain 'Khandani Rajdhani', we didn't give a second thought but agreed to attend the event.
Rajdhani is a pretty famous vegetarian chain restaurant, which is famous for their Madwari thali. Like every year they've organised Aamlicious-The Mango Festival for 45 days, from 12th April To 31st May 2019. Almost 20 types of Mango infused dishes, from which 7 to 8 types of Mango dishes are served on rotational basis for every meal. Mango is such a versatile fruit you can put in any recipe. Either ripe or unripe, any mango can make an ordinary dish super tasty. And in Khandani Rajdhani they have proved me absolutely right. Chef Maharaj, curated the menu so nicely, with the help of Corporate Chef of Rajdhani & Rasovara Sugata Sengupta.
At our table, we were catered to the famous Khandani Rajdhani service- a server approached us with a bowl and some water so we could clean our hands.

as our welcome drink. The Panna was great, but I must a special mention about the Thandai. Sprinkled with cashews, pistachios, and some saffron, made my mood to gorge the Aamlicious Thali.
After that they started with their starter like :

Goonda Kairi Nu Saag and
Rajasthani Kaju Aur Aam Ki Subzi.
Aam ki Launji,
Gol Amboliya and
Kairi Samose Ki Subzi.
My husband finished the Aam ki launji in a minute.
All of this with of course:
Puri,
Thepla,
Roti,
Jeera parathas and
Bhakris
For Daal and Kadhi, we were served
Kairi Surthi Dal,
Kairi Pyaaz Pakoda Kadhi and
Mango samber.
We were too much full, but after that they served :
Aam Pista Pulav and
Marwari Kacchi Kairi Ki Biryani
Both items made a special space in stomach. And I must thank to the Chef for these 2 delicious rice items, and insisting us to taste a bit. Never thought rice items could be so tasty with mango flavor.
Last but not the least , which are also must try :
Mango Basundhi &Mango slice stuffed Manpua with Rabdi

A great place to enjoy vegitarian thali and highly reccomended diring the mango season.

What a veritable feast we had at the Aamlicious 2019 festival at Rajdhani Each of the 60+ dishes has mangoes in some form or the other - spoilt for choice would be an apt description here!
From aamras to mango lassi to kache aam ka panna in the drinks, to mango khandvi, cheesy aam pizza dhokla, aam potli samosa in the farsan to chaats if various kinds with mango as the star ingredient, to the chefs' recommended kaju aur aam ki sabzi and goonda kairi nu saag, to even aam ka pulao and kairi biryani - everything was just aamlicious!
The highlight though, for me, was the dessert - malpua topped with mango rabdi, aamraas, gulkand and paan ka patta - a perfect ending to a perfect meal.
I ordered rajdhani special thali they have 5rotis small, 1 paneer item, 1 aloo fry, 1daal fry, papad, rice and gulab Jamun
My fav is gulab Jamun and the taste was awesome its so soft

Rajdhani Thali one my favorite thali restaurant. this place I visit very often for it's service, food and vibrant offerings in the plate, you step in and then be assured that you are going to get treated with all flavors, spices, tastes and the different dishes and it's natural vibrant colors right from chutnies to dessert, I bet you are a satisfied soul with full tummy once u leave that place.
I happened to be present for launch of their seasonal launch of summer special mango festival called " Aamlicious" . My expectations were very high and I was Damm sure it will be mind blowing evening. I was surprised to see that a mango be used in so many variations oh my God!!!!! . What a creativity.
We we're served with Aam panna, mango thandai,followed by mango khandvi, mango pizza dhokla , variatons of chat with creative use of mango either raw or riped, chopped or pureed, sweet or sour, hot or cold .. all items were absolutely mouth watering , never saw mango jelebi, mango basundi, fajeta , mango pulav... management is going to rotate all of the dishes with it's regular belnd so throughout season you can visit mutlipe times.
I Will recommend my friends to definitely visit and enjoy king of fruits creative dishes.

Celebrating the king of fruits at @rajdhanithali 🥭 👑 rajdhani brings the aamlicious festival with over 18/20 mango based dishes! They have everything from mango Kachori ,mango khandvi, jodhpuri mango dal dhokli, palak aamras chaat, aamras, mango stuffed malpua with rabri, mango thandai, aam panna and so much more !
Want to have a veg brunch? Think no more. This is the preferred place. I love dal baati and paneer ki subzi. And I would suggest to include dhokla in farsaan.
It's a must try restaurant if you are looking for pure veg restaurants. The service is superb and the ambience is also good. Taste wise, it's authentic Rajasthani.

If ur searching for a place just to have north indian veg thali. Then this place is best to have rajasthani and gujrati cusine thali. The staff is very friendly. The thali is unlimited.
The dal baati churma is very delicious. It is to die for. Everyday is a new menu. The food is very delicious. Can visit this place for the food.
Food is good but i like gesture of people serving over their. Welcoming and treating is very nice. A desi ghee taste in curry is awesome. . .
Tummy khush toh dil khush. The veg thali is an indulgence and with all that ghee had to literally fight with myself not to doze off. It's a simple restaurant so don't expect ambience etc., If a sumptuous veg thali is your agenda then you won't be disappointed. Loved it :)

Visited this place number of times and the visit during the summer times has been always special when they have the aam or the mango festival time.Love their ambiance and the homely set up of greeting food at the table and feeding the guest like feeding their own people.The food is mix of Rajasthani and Gujarati I feel may be wrong .Love the innumerable starters they serve alongside ghee.The chats are something which I like very much ,the Dal bati churma good but my Rajasthani friends have a different take on it.The main course has their lovely gatte Ka sabzi.During summer I go for the amrass and yes the dessert section has the best malpua,jalebi served with rabdi.
To sum up it's a traditional meal served with loads of love and care !!
