Amazing taste and never changed even after years. Served in less than 3-min.
Ambiance and neatness are pretty ok. Though it is not like big brands with hi-fi interior decorations. It was comfortable and can accommodate 15+ people at a time.

I tried their Mango fantasia sundae [Rs.80] and Strawberry lassi [Rs.60]. The sundae tasted awesome with vanilla ice cream on the bottom mixed with mango syrup and topped with yummy Alphonso mango ice cream.
Next the strawberry lassi also tasted delicious, creamy and rich but a bit on the sugary side. The décor was basic but it was comfortable. It is located near the Basera hotel on the Sarojini devi road.

These are the one of my favourite places to have deserts with birgers and pizza they make it freshly everytime and serve well with a smile with well placed pizza topping makes you feel go again toh this place

Came to dairy den on a Saturday evening. This place has been there for a very long time, famous for it's burgers, pizzas and ice cream sundaes. We opted for a black currant sundae and a mango sundae. Both the black currant and mango sundaes were fantastic, superb ice cream, great toppings and yummy in taste. These sundaes are reasonably priced and quantity is brilliant. Overall one of the best ice cream sundaes. This is a very low key shop but totally worth the visit.

ordered Nut Overload sundae & Death by Chocolate sundae (300ml) both are good nice filled with nuts and choco sause , very creamy yummy tummyful so i just skipped my dinner today. Packed good but still have to improve little so that it would remain chill melted very quickly i think it's due to summer .

This was my first time ( home delivery ) eating dairy den ice cream and the experience was wonderful.
Packing ideas were surprisingly creative.
All the components of each sundae goes well as a whole sundae.
Only complaint is that the chocolate chips have to much butter and taste like wax.
Overall loved it!
We regularly order the 7'' inch pizza for our lil guests. They are yummy. It's noted hangout for college and school crowd.

They have some sides like burgers and pizzas too..
Choco dip is one flavour which i really like over here..
During summers they serve flavours of lassis in which mango lassi is my favourite..

As the name suggests, there is a very large variety of ice creams and shakes to select from and a limited choice for Pizzas & Burgers but that is good enough if you do not wish to have an extravagant meal.
Its easy on the pocket as well, for me it was a good heavy pizza and lassi in Rs.180/-
The next time I want to try the burger and some shake to go with it.
The restaurant has this very open feel, and the seating arrangement is good too. Plus there are some offers going on which are definitely a plus.
Decent enough place to hangout in its category of restaurants. I wouldn't mind coming here again :)
It's a popular place to hangout, with some wonderful icecreams & smoothies at pocket friendly price. The place is easy to locate as it's next to the BP petrol bunk. Place is spacious, and it's self service. Shakes are made quickly. Found their ice cream tubs priced aggressively. They also serve pizza.
If you are around S.D. road, do visit this place. Highly recommended!!

Welcome to Dairy Den, this place has survived for over 4 decades and anything which can survive for that long must be doing something really right. Located just after the Petrol bunk on S.D road road, this place is easy to locate. They also offer things like Pizza's , burger's to make it a one spot snack place.
The ice cream experience:
Biggest surprise to me was they were out of chocolate because of some repairs( thankfully it was winter!) and told me it should be there within a day or two. An ice cream parlor running out of chocolate is unheard of.
Fruit and Nut: ( 9% fat)
Asked the owner to help me choose my ice cream and I told him, the freshest, most selling ice cream and he asked me to try their "Fruit and Nut". It was Vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce and dry fruits added. Nothing fancy but once I digged into the ice cream the ice cream was creamy and very nice. Got to know that they make their ice creams and in huge quantities. The Vanilla ice cream was pretty good, long time since I relished a simple Vanilla ice cream. They said they make 2 kinds of ice cream 9% and 15% fat which was the premium ice cream. They are priced at 90 Rs and 150Rs respectively
Cotton candy flavor( 15% fat, premium ice cream)
After being impressed by their Vanilla ice cream, this was a level up, this tasted more like the ice creams I've been having of-late and it was loaded with caramel, cotton candy flavored premium ice cream sandwiched between the vanilla ice cream and snickers, yes they would have dunked in a generous quantity of snickers into it.
Took it home and ended up eating it over 2 meals.

Got to know the Lassi and scoop on's which I saw at many popular places including Universal Bakers is manufactured by them. So they have been doing their thing in the dairy industry by creating branched out products to cater more people.
I will have to come and try out some of their other signature flavors like Ferrero Rocher and Tiramisu to really start loving this place. The experience I had here was a definite win taste wise.The quantity of ice cream is decent, priced competitively and quality is up there. I wish they have all things available as mentioned in the menu for me to patronize this place.
The downside I see is that the interiors were not up to the times and parking might be a hassle as compared to the modern ice cream joints which are coming up all over the city.
Overall, glad they have continued doing what they do best - Make ice creams.

A small place that this is ive always come here for the rose milk.It was something i really loved.In the recent times when i visited ,i was told that its no longer available but nonetheless they have some amazing sundaes.I had a chocolate chip one.It was nice.If you are around that area then you can surely drop in there for ice cream.
Dairy den is one of the oldies on SD road and has its fair share of regulars, who am sure are never disappointed. I am fan of their thick shakes and ice creams. The chocolate ice creams have a distinct flavor, one you would associate with dark chocolate. This place may not be much on ambiance but the family sure treats its customers pleasantly. The place is totally Value for money with generous helpings of all items on its menu. If you're in and around secunderabad, just drop in for a quick snack and you wont regret it
I was in search of flavored softy but i did not find any near thirumalgiri or at bowenpally finally i found it there.
there softy is so delicious filled with a real taste of any flavor you order. Pizza over there seams to be very fresh and tasty it would be much more better if a lil bit of extra cheese is added to it.

Long Time ago , Dairy den was a landmark in itself along with Garden Hotel , clock tower and Sangeet . Situated right beside the DC office and now opposite Domino's Pizza , this place thrived through the emergence of Subway's, Domino's , Baskin Robbins and all other big players . Dairy Den Looked a lot more cool when it started , a huge cartoon poster done on the wall , those walls where u were allowed to write, sketch etc etc .
Though the place isnt exactly the same , the ice creams are as good as they were , slurpy, creamy. I always felt the Ice cream here was extra creamy than the rest. Modestly Priced , they have serve the best black forest fantasy , nut overload , mar's and snickers curiosity , chocolate truffle .
Dairy Den's just another lost charm of sec'bad , im only glad they still are open . If around this place , that's the sangeet road try not missing out on this place.
