When you come to summers and icecream, bilal is the place to go for their delicious homemade icecreams to die for..their best are mango (when the season is good), chikku and sitaphal..do not take any other apart from fruits...

Renovated a very old clock tower in the form of a cafeteria. I tried their famous ice-cream seasonal fruit flavors (custard apple,e Chikoo) and it was the most natural fruit ice cream I have ever had. No artificial flavors and at really economical prices.

Ambience is not so great, but who cares, as long as you get instant blissful scoops of ice creams. on top of it, its very pocket-friendly. a good place to hang out with friends. they serve chai and chat. but ice cream is the big win. I have tasted nutty almond chocolate, mango ,blueberry, triple delight ice creams. you can always opt for your choice of sundae.

I visited Bilal Ice Cream parlour along with a friend to try its Seasonal Pot Ice creams of which I am a big fan. So I ordered a Mango Pot Ice Cream [ Rs.30 for 02 scoops ], Litchi Pot Ice Cream [ Rs.30 for 02 scoops ] and Samosa Ragada [Rs.30 each plate]. Both the pot ice creams were good but not as tasty as the Famous Ice Cream ones, the Samosa Ragada though was delicious. This parlour is located inside the Iconic clock tower building near the Mojam Jahi market and it is Air conditioned. It also has an outdoor seating area.
Ambience:: They have all the pictures from ancient times of Hyderabad and the Nawabs of Hyderabad on the walls. Quiet good seating and the service is average.

I Had a chocolate ripple of 60/- which was good.They don't have many of the items mentioned in the menu.
Had to skip to chaat section because they dint have any other ice-creams.I've ordered butter pav bhaji which was really good and it costed 60/- and Ragada papdi which tasted average and costed 30/-ambience: 3/5

This place has best natural icecreams. I love their mango scoop price of 30/- bucks for 2 scoops. They do have specials. Bilal special is of 4-5 flavours of huge scoops of icecreams and amazing plating. Their fruit salad with icecream yummy and their titanic which is of 3 flavors plating resembles of a ship.
Who cares about presentation, when the taste is great? I got the chance of having a taste of Bilal's Ice Cream during 2 at night, and standing on the highway. What can be a more thrilling combination !!! Their Vanilla and Butterscotch flavors were superb.

This shop in the Nampally area is famous for its seasonal fruit ice creams. Many local ice cream shops around it, but this one clearly emerges as the winner. I tried all the shops in that area and this one by far serves the best among them. Chocolate ice cream was good and so was the Chikoo flavour ice cream. Pocket friendly and easy to locate.

Located in the old city, this place is my all time favourite to eat ice cream. I believe, there is no other place in the city which can serve you better ice creams at this price. Price wise, it's fairly cheap. A good variety of ice creams available here.
Must haves -
1) pot ice creams - four to five seasonal flavours are always there. Sitaphal and litchi are my favs.
2) triple sundaes - A combination of three different flavours. Dark devil is the one which I really loved.
A very good place to visit in nampally. Will be very happy if they open their branches in the city.

This ice cream joint just stole my heart. Hogging the svelte seethaphal was a choice made in tasty heavens. You must also try the chiku/sapota flavour in the half or full pound choices of quantity. I can just savor Bilal 's Seethaphal full pound variant oh-any-given-jiffy! Miss this not when you're in Hyderabad! This ice cream exclusive parlor gives you a wholesome experience in itself minus the ambience. Miss this not. Period. :)
Right in the centre of a very noisy and busy road but still so peaceful inside. It's like the outside noise gets totally cancelled when you sit here, you can see the traffic but still be at peace for some reason. One of my friends praised a lot about the ice creams here so the foodie inside me just had to give it a go.
Whatever the taste was but ice creams at this rate in today's time is like finding a magic bean. Rs. 30 for 2 scoops, like are you kidding me. I was totally baffled looking at the rates, I think the highest price was probably 180 or 200 in that huge menu.
So they said their pot ice creams are the fastest selling item, hence came chikoo and mango pot ice cream. The texture is super super creamy, it just got dissolved in my mouth. Mango was good but chikoo tasted more like malai than chikoo. Sugar content is very high in their ice creams and hence we couldn't have much but I am more than happy in whatever I got coz 4 scoops of seasonal ice cream costed only 60. :)
Bilal Ice Cream parlour is located at nampally, beside Famous Ice Cream parlour.I went there today with my friend and ordered pav Bhaji, dry fruit sensation.Pav Bhaji was ok,but dry fruit sensation was awesome.Now a days this is my favourite hangout spot for ice cream, because I am tired of cream stone and other ice cream stores.Another thing is ice cream is very economical.Definitely I'd like to try other flavours.
neighbour icecream shop is so famous that people dont tend to go to BILAL much. but they have a wide range of affortable and yummy icecream...the best time to go is late night...they are generally open till 1 AM.

Bilal ice cream is a regular choice of mine when it comes to budget ice creams... it has indoor as well as outdoor seating... we usually ordered while sitting in our car itself... my personel favourites are all the flavours of pot ice creams...especially mango pot ice cream which is seasonal... also their fruit salad is good but not the best I'd say...!!! It's amazing how the gentleman at the counter declined to suggest what was their best. He insisted that we try out the samples and make up our own mind. I said I was getting late but he didn't mind. He insisted.

I had always heard of famous ice creams and happened to visit this place only coz it was adjacent to Famous but mind you, I found this place a million times better than Famous both taste and price wise.
Completely alien to what this part of the city refers to when they say handmade and stone ice cream, we figured that stone is what we generally have (machine made ice-cream with a solid consistency) and handmade refers to the ice cream prepared by manual churning of milk and fruits /flavours which is why the consistency is a little more softer side than the stone one.
Curious to try this new variant we decided to taste their Sitaphal, Muskmelon and Mango flavours and ended up ordering all three!
The ice creams were brilliant with a distinctive taste of each of the fruits. My personal favourite was the Sitaphal since that's a fruit which is barely available as an ice cream and it treated brilliant. Since the ice creams were handmade they felt lighter on the stomach than the normal machine made ones.
The place seems to be a heritage building with intricate chandeliers and walls with a bare brick finish that lends a historic charm to this place.
Also, to top it all, three scoops cost us Forty bucks only ! I was shocked beyond belief!
A must visit of you're visiting that part of the town.

I do remember the first time i came here .. We started with a normal chocolate and sapota ice cream and we ended up with a bill of 1k after trying most of them including sundays and all ! They now extended the outer seating and they have seating facility behind the main counter also . "the crew " were very happy to serve us .. and kisi ko khilake jo khushi milti na .. They were having that smile on there faces (or maybe they saw bukkad like us for the very frst tym 😛)

Located at mozamjahi market opposite to Karachi bakery and adjacent to shah Ice cream. I've been visiting this place from quite few years now. It's the house of three big giants of local ice creams (shah, famous and bilal) To be very honest all the 3 outlets have diff flavours of ice cream. The sitaphal ice cream which you tried at shah will differ at famous and bilal. Do Not expect anything wow wen it comes to service and Ambience. Their ice creams are pretty good for such a low cost. Do try their Belgium, cheeko,sitaphal and mango ice creams. Not a great fan of chocolate ice creams but their seasoned ice creams are pretty good. However my personal favourite outta all the three outlets is shah ! It definitely stands out in terms of regular and seasonal fruit ice creams.👌

A legendary pure hyderabadi place for in house ice creams. The complex in which it is placed doesn't fail to transport you back to the nizam era. The service is slightly lousy but the taste and the variety of ice creams compensates for it. The ambiance is pretty good. The rose petal ice cream with frozen rose petals and the flavour so full in the ice cream is my favourite. The kulfi wasn't that bad and the taste of heaven was pretty good too(if you like anjeer). Chocorocco is another one of my favourites which was great in flavour. The vanilla with chips of chocolate blended in it. This a must visit place if you love ice creams and are ready to experiment new flavours. The ice creams here are very smooth. We had a sev puri and a tikki chaat to go with it which were both very delicious.

Located in the same location as Famous and Shah , This place is also serves ice creams in the same manner and the same price.
Taste wise - I would say that the three brands have different set of followers. The taste of bilal ice cream has not been consistent and hence the issue of mixed reviews in my honest opinion. Having had their ice cream since they opened up, I have been satisfied with their mango aala ice cream almost always. Chicoo, Sitaphal - the seasonal variities are also a must have here. Aala ice creams are the hand made ones where the churning used to be manual and now motorized. A wooden half open casket with ice and a metal container in the middle. The ice cream making process is unique by itself.
The normal single scoops , pound , 500ml and 1 liter are very economical.
My only recommendation is that these ice creams should not be compared with the branded ones in the market - Kwality walls, Scoops etc.
Taste is different in all 3 locations , so try them and then judge where you like them the most. At 15/- a scoop I am sure an ice cream lover would be able to try many varieties without getting his wallet light.

Nice big ice cream parlor, opposite to Karachi bakery is a really good place for ice cream lovers. Ice cream with such thick texture and taste are really hard to find around.
It has an outdoor sitting area too which has quite a nice breeze during the night and serves as a good place to enjoy your dessert
Completely unexpected visit thought of going somewhere instead reached here. This is one mistake I do not regret as the fruit flavour ice cream ( mango and chikko were available) was awesome. I personally do not like chikko fruit but the taste forced me to eat two cups. Price very reasonable. Hung out till 2:30am.

Sitting beside the busy Karachi junction in Nampally, this ice cream place is always filled with people who are Merrily savouring the natural fruit based ice creams. The chickoo or sapota ice cream gives u the perfect fruit taste as it is made from real fruit. The ice cream is on the creamier side and leaves a rich after taste. Not a big fan of brick ice creams, albeit tried the Sundae's and liked them there. The real fun of relishing the Pot Ice Cream is sitting inside the age old hall in the Mozamjahi Market. Ice Creams ain't the only thing served there, Chat and etc are worth it too. The Curds sold at Bilal Dairy is something worth a try.

Last week, I was passing by on my way to Salar Jung Museum. It was Sitaphal season and my wife asked me to stop the car at Bilal. We started with a Sitaphal Ice cream (Rs 30). The best part of the fruit ice creams here is that the fruit flavor is normally very strong. After lapping up the Sitaphal, it was the turn of Chikoo (Sapota) Rs 30. I find this the best of the lot here. Finally went for Anjeer and Badam (Rs 60) which was more conventional.
3 of us enjoyed ice creams to our heart's content at a paltry Rs 180, which will be the price of a designer one at the cold stone joint. All old Hyderabadis will vouch for the quality of the ice creams here.
Never was a ice cream fan untill a friend forced me to have it at this place. I was blown away by the consistancy and the flavor this place. All the ice creams were brilliant.

I have been visiting Famous Icecream joint..but on that day wanted to try out Bilal as I wanted to savor Ice cream along with chat items. Seated inside the vintage, historic Mojamjahi building with photo frames of Hyderabadi Historic monuments and the Nizam's , I have ordered the Mango Ice cream, Pani Puri and Strawberry milkshake. Mango Ice cream was soft and creamier. But the fruit flavour was less compared to the Mango Icecream @ Famous joint. Pani Puri was regular so as with the Strawberry milkshake. Overall, it was nice try. Would definitely go back to try their other icecreams.

How did I miss this outlet, I have been visiting Famous since past 10 years and never knew a gem was hidden just adjacent to it. I was here as part of the Hyderabad Foodies Club’s street food Walkathon and I loved it
Bilal icecream is located right opposite to Karachi Bakery and adjacent to Famous Ice Creams in Mozamjahi Market. One of the perks of visiting this place is you would get to be seated inside one of the oldest clock towers in the city.
After free sampling of their ice creams from the counter placed outside, I decided to order the sitaphal and Belgium dark Chocolate. Sitaphal ice cream was outstanding, bits and pieces of fruits keeps hitting you, making the experience even more good. Belgium Dark Chocolate was an another masterpiece, for any chocolate lover this one is the ultimate stop. Be mindful of the quantity that they serve, it is too heavy at times.
The service is at times slow, I had to remind them thrice to get me a water bottle.
Sometimes you have to go out of the ordinary uptown ice cream joints and hit this place for a pocket friendly experience. Iam sure you wouldn’t be disappointed.

Been to this part of city many times, but most of the times it was the shop next door or around mozamjahi market which always pulled me in to taste some old school preparations of Hyderabad.
This was my first time and yeah the sparkling lights around give an old fashion feeling if you are in some fair. thats how the outside seating is designed with different counters for Ice creams, dairy products and chaats as well. The inner seating with high ceilings and the use of space was well around center pillar.
Outside there is a free sample counter as well for you to taste the ice creams and yes the guy behind the counter without any smirk on face feel happy to hand you the sample that you insisted for. :)
After lot of food from around, I finalised on the sitafal and belgian chocolate.
Sitafal was a divine and fruitfull piece of delicacy I would say. The taste hitting your bud actually makes you feel fruit in there. Thumbs up..!! :)
Belgian Chocolate, now this was creamy, chocolaty and for a chocolate lover its beautiful as well at the same time. :D
With that serving, almost double scoop you may feel a bit heavy to finish and so me sharing with my friend was better option at that moment. :P
On the service part, yes they are quick enough to get your order once placed.
Overall, the place a bit messy looking place with surroundings do cover up those with what is served to you. For that pocket friendly price, you can just go again and again there without having second thoughts. ;)

Situated in the historic Moazzam Zahi Market, you will have a good space for parking the car. Ambience - The indoor thing will give an authentic Nizam feel with tall walls and portraits of the Nizam sultans. But better to give it a look and Dine in Outdoors as the Indoors are not Air Conditioned, suffocating. Pav Bhaji was good and regular, nothing special about it. And the flavours, I loved the MANGO & SITHAPHAL. They are a must try if you visit this place. CHICKOO must be tried coz this is the only place i know where they serve Chickoo and Sithaphal. Bt coming to the quality of the icecreams, they are not soft and My Suggestion is Make It Melt To Satisfy Your Taste Buds.

It was late at night almost time for me to fall asleep but then few friends called me and dragged me to this place called Bilal ice cream parlour. While i wondered what's so special here, the ambiance made me rethink if i had to really get in there and have ice cream. Contradictory, i saw too many people inside and outside with their cars. Not wanting to dishearten my dear friends, i decided to order their ice creams. Holy cow!!!! What were they???? Chiku ice-cream???? Melts in your mouth....sssslllllrrrpppppp!!!! Yummmmmyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't have words to describe them and i need more as i write my review!!! Next i ordered was the Mango!!! How better can it get??? Damn!!! Why wasn't i here before? Then we ordered for pista ice cream and musk melon flavoured ice cream too. It was good too! But i think the best is the chiku and the mango ice cream!!! For all those icecream lovers, this a MUST TO GO!!!

Of all the ice-creams I have eaten over the past 20+ years, I have to say that the ice-creams here make a stronger impression than most.
The ice-cream's texture isn't as smooth as the factory-made, store-bought variety, but considering that this is store-made with real fruit mixed in, it can surely be forgiven. I usually prefer ice-creams with a nice, smooth feel, but this more than makes up for it with its taste.
I actually wanted to try the Lychee or the Karbuza (melon) flavours, but due to seasonal unavailability, it was not possible.
Three large scoops of the Chikoo/Sapota ice-cream cost Rs. 35. An absolute bargain for ice-cream of this quality.

At Bilal's,they prepare their own icecreams which come in so many flavours.It's located in the left corner of MJ market facing the Nampally road.The starting price of icecream is 50/- ..I have tasted almost every flavour here being a regular visitor and an icecream lover.We usually go for our favourites Dryfruit Sensation and Anjeer Badam.. They've included Turkish Icecream recently and it's fun seeing kids enjoying it.We even get Momos,Pani Puri,PavBhaji,Chat..A very good place to hangout once the sun goes down
Bilal Ice Cream serves natural made best ice creams and mostly the seasonal ones. Sitaphal, Anjeer, Chikoo & Muskmelon are must try.

Bilal's Ice cream one of the oldest delicacies of Hyderabad situated in mojamjahi market.
This place is huge, aesthetic and has a retro/old vibe to it. The walls are amazing.
The inside is well crafted and looks like a museum.
So we had ice creams and the flavours they have for us to choose from is amazing.
They have flavours no others have and they were very rich and dense in flavour.
Its a good place to enjoy some ice creams. Nothing exceptional thought but one can look to enjoy some stuff from here This parlour is very famous once and the quantity and quality was good before but now both have decreased.Unique menu, great service, good crowd even at midnight"

Came here on a busy Ramadan evening around 10PM. Best thing now is that there is car parking available. Service was a bit slow as it was fairly crowded. Prices are very low compared to some major ice cream chains around. They do offer Chaat items as well. Forgot to click the picture of the menu.
Taste was good. Quantity was sufficient. The staff were courteous and helpful.
I'd suggest to stop here for an ice-cream treat whenever you're in the vicinity.

Bilal Ice Cream is one of the oldest and most popular ice cream parlour in Hyderabad. They have many varieties in ice cream. The taste is delicious and arrangement is in open roof. Must visit shop for ice cream in Hyderabad. Ambience is historic and location is massive.
It's better to visit at night time. So that we can enjoy the weather and lights were beautiful. Service was very fast. Taste of food is also so good. Ice creams were really good. I ordered Sundae just loved the taste. Rates are also responsible. Must visit.

I recently had momos over this place and i really loved the quality, quantity and taste. Ambience is open sit out with a hustle background. One must really try this new add on in their menu at this place.
Open even after 12AM. Good to try different kinds of icecreams. Turkish ice cream is available which is fun for kids.

Situated in one of the oldest monument, bilal ice cream offee natural flavored ice creams and really good chat as well.. very wonderful place to spend quality time in the evenings in the heart of hyderabad.. highly recommended!
