A good place for people hanging out in gachibowli area and people working in gachibowli . The ambience is cool and pleasent .The service is great .
We went here in Jan 2018. We sat indoors and ambience was very bad. Didn't look like a restaurant, maybe because of some sort of renovation work going on.
Food was decent. We may not go back though.
Visited this place for the first time
One of the top most restaurant @gachibowli
This Place was AWESOME 👌👌
Yestrday I had starter Malai broccoli, panner sandwich kebab,

Service :-one of the best service By SARDAR...
Very Good service by sardar
Thnku soooooo much for Ur servicing...
Good place.I have been there twice at two different points on the timeline-one,when it was completely new and the other when it was in the state of becoming popular. The first time, the ambience was quite peaceful, something which I like unlike the second time. The food is okayish, not too commendable. The food server had almost made us feel we had chicken in place of paneer-an err that would any day give me a mini heart attack!
Awesome ambiance, excellent service from the staff (Sardar), good place to hangout at late nights with good snacks and seeshah.. milkshakes are a must try..
This place is located just beside the Gachibowli flyover. As it's a rooftop there is enough outdoor seating space. You have a decent view from this place.I like the lighting and decor in general. This is one of the very few places for hookah around Gachibowli. I tried the mushroom manchurian which tasted great and looked good as well.overall this place is a good place to hang out and the service is decent.
Best rooftop restaurant in Gachibowli where you can chill with your friends and have an amazing time!
Recently went there with a bunch of friends. We had Delhi fried chicken, butter garlic prawns, Angara chicken, ghee kheema pulao and kulcha. For cocktails we had sex on the beach, virgin Pinacolada, Adams punch and hot chocolate shake.
The food was good but the mocktails and shakes were amazing! Also the starters are worth mentioning. The chicken and prawn starters were perfectly fried and was pretty crisp. Angara chicken with kulcha and pulao was also a good combination.
The staff is courteous and help you out by choosing the accompaniments alongwith the main course.
Absolutely loved the ambience mainly because they were playing back to back Vidya Vox tracks in the background.
It's better to go there after sunset as you can sit in the rooftop area and enjoy a great view of the city!
This is one amazing place to hangout near gachibowli! Me and my friends frequently visit this place!
Starting with the service, great hospitality and very alert! Specially a guy named Sardar, he is too attentive, friendly and quick! Soo no issues with service at all!
The place being on a rooftop has a great view! Also there is ample of space to sit both inside and outside! You would enjoy sitting outside when it rains!
Coming to the food, our personal favourite is Chicken Alfredo Pasta which we order every single time! But the rest of the items are also finger licking good! From Indian to Italian, any thing we ordered always satisfied us!
If you are going to order Hookah, then I'd recommend You to ask Sardar to make it! Compared to others he makes the best!
Overall this place is all time favourite and a must visit for good hookah and yummilicious food!!
A Sunday night visit here and below is my review on it.
Ambiance- It has rooftop seating. Ample chairs and tables are there which will ensure privacy as well. Lights are just sufficient as per a rooftop seating. Music is hep. The best part is they are open till really late so you can get in even at 10 pm and have a good time. Guess it's open till 12:40 pm. 4/5
Service- The waiters though attentive are very less knowledgeable with the dishes on their menu. When asked what is their specialty- We get an answer saying it's French fries. When asked about the other dishes, they had no clue what they are. Please train your waiters. 3/5
Food- I am impressed with the food here. we tried the following-:
Veg Biryani- A good bowl of biryani which I found too spicy for my taste. It was otherwise good and gets a thumbs up from me. 4/5
Mexican Nachos- I am super impressed by this plate of nachos which is so cleverly crafted for the Indian taste buds. It tasted more like a plate of Bhel. 5/5
French Fries- It is almost similar to the Mc Donald's Fries which are slightly thicker. A good plate of fries. 5/5
Alfredo pasta- This is the worst pasta I have ever had. Disclaimer- Please do not try it. It was so bland that I have no words for it. Just lots of cheese with no taste, a normal macaroni pasta and exactly 3 broccoli pieces did nothing to save this dish. We left half the dish. 0/5
Will I come here again? This is by far the best place for Sheesha I have been to in Hyderabad. Even if you don't like Sheesha, this place is good for food as well. The rooftop seating adds a good aerial view and the plus point are the late timings. I sure will come back.
food was great, but the packing was bad. the rice was coming out of packaging.
Well it all started wid arrangin a bday party in hyderabad, searched many hotels n finally up the bistro was choosen by me..as m non hyderabadi so didnt knew much bt the owner didnt dissapoint n made nice arrangements n cumin to food i liked grilled cilantro fish, angaara chicken n naan was jus so yummy guys..dnt miss out this place..such a peace wid luvd ones..will visit again whn i'll come again to hyderabad.. thank u up the bistro..
Open top /Roof Top restaurant in the mid of Gachibowli to Miyapur Road
Visited in the late night around 11:00 Pm
Ordered one Hookah , Jeera rice , Chicken Curry and Nachos
Food was Amazing
Service was good , Staff was alert
Ambiance was good
Overall a good place to Hangout in the night
Great place to catch a weekday lunch/meeting and relax with Shisha. The menu is surprising good and I'd recommend the Tikka Kebabs and Ice Tea's.
Place is located rooftop with limited parking. You may tip the valet at the Chinese pavilion restaurant to park up near the front of the building.
Visited this place for the first time during a rainy afternoon. First best thing is the view!! Its a roof-top setup just next to the gachibowli flyover on a decent 5 story height to give you a fabulous view!! The place was quite low and empty, may be due to the rains.. Ordered Chicken bbq, pasta in white sauce, couple of mocktails and a dessert.. While, i am content with the quality of food, the brownie was a disappointment.
Location - 5/5
Ambience - 4.5/5
Food - 3/5(brownie!!! Work on it, please)
Service - 3.5/5
Value for money - 4/5
See you soon!!!!!
I visited this place a few times with my friends. The ambiance is really good, especially in the evenings. It's a nice roof top restaurant with good food and shisha.
Cool breeze, open terrace, stars above and open sky... What else can I ask for a Friday night with friends. It's been an amazing evening with best ambience, delicious food and very courteous staff... Best dish was Murg Mirchi Tikka...
One thing you have to watch out for is Parking, not so great in cellar parking...
Been here many times , service is really good, ambience wise roof top is really awesome specially after rain.. Asian chilli chicken, it is recommended by the owner, made it really special thanks for the service... Hoo... made the night:).. Through he is renovating the place.. But maintained really well.. One should try the place... Going with four just for ambience n service..
Up the Bistro -located in the same building that houses Coffee Day,Chinese Pavilion is a one of the few rooftop restaurants in this part of the city, this place has amazing views of the traffic on the gachibowli flyover and serene views of the lush greenery in Telecom Nagar ,the restaurant has 3 seating options an AC dining section- perfect for the day time and then 2 outer seating options which are picture perfect post the sun set- it is an amazing place to hang out with a gang of friends or family.
Coming to the food -every item has a decent taste in the starters my choice are the Malai Broccoli,Achari Panneer Tikka -the broccoli here is one of the best in town and has a fine spread of malai all over the broccoli,in non vegetarian my choice is Murg mirch Tikka and crispy lamb
For the main course I prefer to try their tawa fishy Biryani or chicken biryani -the biryani here is not dum as it is has flavoured rice loaded with loads of juicy meat Pieces.
In the mocktails and desserts - their cheese cake is a revelation while the mocktails are good to go with the food.
Located just beside the busy gachibowli flyover and surrounded by apartments all over, this place provides a great view of the neighborhood as it is on the top most floor. I visited this place at night, the sky was clear and the moon light was shining so much that it instantly lightened up the mood. Ordered hookah and jalapeño cigarillos as starters. I can confidently say that for hookah, this place is one of the best ones in the city right now. The hookah guy was super sweet and quick in service. And then comes the starter which tasted delicious. I ordered one more starter, stuffed panner kebab and it was equally delightful. Watermelon iced tea was a little disappointment, it tasted too sweet. Finally, quick service, delicious food, great hookah and great view makes this an amazing place for chilling with friends or fam.
Place was superb... 👌🏻👌🏻
Very friendly staff and the service was also very nice...
but the food was not up to the mark..
A bit disappointed with the food 🥘
If you are looking for a place to have calm evening, this could be an option. The terrace porch, nice food, and a subtle place for hanging out with friends.
Awesome place with decent food, good city view. Open terrace restaurant with nice ambience.
The food tasted good with decent ambiance (a bit more lighting could have helped) felt like having a candle light dinner.
It was a punishment to reach there to climb up all the stairs!!!! 😑😑 Donno when they will repair their elevator! Food is okay - 3/5 and the ambiance is just ok. Ias Mounika
Help ur self up to 5th floor and park your car as lift is out of service and there is no Vallet. Once you conquer the stairs you can treat yourself with some amazing starters, pasta and lemonade. Hookah is good but only sad part is 03 coal rule and charge you 600/-😵.
Good scope for improvement!!
Nice place nd hookah is very very good😀food service very nice.......... nd Sandeep is nice guyyyy Sandeep..........respect is superbb.. Asian chilli chicken very nice testy.......
I love this rooftop restaurant with wide varieties of starters and main course. The view in the evenings and the pleasant music play made one of my friends event awesome. Sardar was the Service Man who was really good and obedient in nature. He met all our requirements, decorated the table according to the event and his service was marvelous. I really recommend sardar to the customers who visit up the Bistro.
I organised a party last weekend, and the management in up the bistro were so helpful and polite. Loved the food and the ambience! The party wouldn't be a successful one, without the support of the staff and the manager in UP THE BISTRO! Thank you guys for all the help, and understanding the value of the party organised. Really appreciate it!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
An amazing place to sit for hours and have hookah. It always turns out to be so good that we don't feel like leaving until it's done, which is usually 2-3 hours minimum. Apart from hookah the food is also good..loved the garlic prawns. They could add a little more variety on the drinks part but what they already have is good too.
The service is prompt, the waiters are friendly and always keen on making the customers happy. And one more good thing is that you can play your favorite music. So I totally love this place and definitely going there again...and again!
This is a rooftop sheesha lounge. It is located at a very prime location in Gachibowli. The hookah they serve here is great and the waiters are very kind. The person who makes the hookah was very courteous even though he did arrive a bit late. But he did make up for it. The chicken alfredo pasta was awesome. I really loved the chocolate brownie as well. The arabiata chicken pasta is just okayish. The only problem is that they don't serve hookah inside when the weather is hot outside.
EDIT:
Visited this place again and tried a larger vaiiety of dishes. The waiter Sardar single handedly manages the place with perfection. He is very friendly. The 0.5 less rating is just because the hookah person is not on time.
A good place to chill out. The ambience is perfect when you are sitting on the exact top portion of the location which has limited seats although.
#virgin_mojito tasted perfect
#delhi_fried_chicken
#amritsari_fish_fry
#alfredo_pasta ....it needed bit more oregano amd flakes.
Overall...recommended strongly.
One the very few hookah places in gachibowli !
A very nice airy rooftop restaurant!
Food was average ! Only let down.
Rest everything was good.
Food :2/5
Ambience :5/5
Service : 5/5 .
Bang for the buck ! :)
This a small roof top in gachibowli. Roof top agreement nice. Food is also very tasty. Mung mirg mirchi tikka. Asian chilli chicken, tanduri masala roost chicken ,butter naan very good tasty. Sardar waiter is very good service and his friendly . this is place most visit......
Do I need to say anything more even after a 4.5?😅 Zomato needs 140 characters to post my review. Up the bistro will be my place after home.
This is a small rooftop in the gachibowli area. Probably the best after Skyhy in this area. Ambience is good. Food is decent. Service is good. But it looks a little dull when it comes to music and environment. But if u want a peaceful evening on a rooftop with some hookah and good food at a decent price, this is the place.
Must visit.
This is the place to be for any type of meal... their soups, pastas, tandoor, tawa biryani, Chinese, Burmese, Mexican... you name it and they have it.
My recent meal was their Khau suey which was just amazing and clear soup which is my all time favourite of this place.
Great Ambiance, very humble and courteous staff with amazing food.
Up the bistro is a multi-cuisine restaurant who are brilliant at differentiating between flavors. Snuggly located below the Gacchibowli flyover, the place is apt for a hangout at any time of the day or for any meal. If you intend to go classic and order a full-fledged meal, the place offers you a banquet of variety to choose from. If you intend to go light on your tummy, burgers, pastas and mocktails are also up for grab. I decided to go classic and ordered for Spicy cheddar and jalapeno cigarillos, Malai broccoli, Murgh mirch tikka, Tawa gosht biryani and a blueberry cheesecake. The starters were mouthwatering especially malai broccoli. Murgh mirch tikka is an awesome start to a meal; it’s a power house of flavors and spices packed in some tender pieces of chicken and sure to sweat a drop (worth it!). Coming to the main course, tawa gosht biryani is quite different from the regular biryanis one gets served in Hyderabad. I believe the meat and rice are cooked together giving a good flavor to the rice. The steal of the evening was definitely the blueberry cheesecake. Rich in texture and flavor, it is a must have even if you aren’t a sweet tooth. Overall, the service is quick, the ambience is great plus and the food is the hero.
Your food was finger licking good. The ambience was so amazing and classy. I loved the white sauce pasta and the ravioli. I would to go again and again.
If one is Zomato-ing a place for a good ambience, a rooftop, calm conversations and good food ofcourse with the added delight of flavourful hookahs in hyderabad, Up the Bistro is the place to be. Their extended food menu, courteous waiters help in making it a delightful evening. This is from my n number of visits to this place. A must visit 😊
This place is an absolute gem! The reasons are pretty simple!
Rooftop.
You can get hookahs which are actually good.
Sitting arrangements are nice, spacious.
Staff behaviour is very good.
You'll get a wide an array of food choices.
And talking about the food, food is just awesome.
From the starter chicken croquettes to mutton rogun jus to pasta with white sauce, all were brilliant.
This place deserves more people! And trust me it is good.
Two cons btw: One, bad or no music to suit the ambience. Everything that we tried, a bit on the saltier side, nothing that can't eat but still a little bit more than I would have liked.
Else a big thumbs up! :)
The view from the rooftop seating setup is awesome! They have indoor seating as well. Food quality is standard. Chicken starters were okayish. Pasta was good. They serve hookah too. Nice ambiance and decor. Friendly staff.
Up The Bistro is one of the best pocket friendly hang out place in Gachibowli. Food was delicious.,Ambiance was decent. As this place is a roof top, its beauty would be felt in the night time. Unfortunately i have been here for lunch (3 times) , so couldn't experience it.
Avoid visiting this place for lunch, if you want to experience a good roof top view.
A great place to be in the cool, breezy weather and dine in this rooftop restaurant.
The Prima Vega pasta was rich and delightful to gobble up. The starters, especially the Wild Mushroom Calzones, are a must try. The prices are reasonable, given the location and ambience of the restaurant.
Summarizing, it is a decent place to unwind after a long hard day!
This was one of the long pending one on my list. A place that is setup in the heart of IT HUB with stunning ambience setup ( its awesome outdoor and rooftop seating) and pretty decent prices. Quality and taste of the food doesn’t lag anywhere and a perfect place for a calm and peaceful evening hangout.
Awesome place.... Rooftop sitting arrangement.... Perfect for a romantic dinner... Waiters are very polite and friendly... Food is also very tasty... Overall a perfect evening....
The food here exceeded our expectations and we were left wanting more even when our tummy was full. Ambience was not bad either and the music soft and just right. Definitely will recommend this place to friends and colleagues.

Up The Bistro a Café at Gachibowli serve Continental and North Indian dishes. An invitation for Blogger Table with pre-set menu which include mostly North Indian dishes.
Location – It is located beside Heritage Super Market near to Gachibowli fly over.
Ambience – I like roof top restaurant and Up The Bistro will be part of that list. Simply yet elegant ambience suits for family or hangout place with friends. Live music on weekend take this experience to next level.
Service – The staff was carrying smile on face and serve respectfully when they are on business. The friendliness of staff makes me eat more. Great to have staff which server by heart and enjoy what they do… kudos to staff!!! ( Btw.. like many other folks I can easy differentiate fake or forceful smile ….I had that sense)
Food –
We started our dinner with Passion delight. A Passion Fruit Puree , Maple Syrup with Pineapple Juice was refreshing drink to start with. I prefer it to be stronger then what I had.
In soup segment my choice was Murgh makhni soup. I felt hint of classic butter chicken recipes in this soup. Richness , sweetness , spiciness and tanginess with typical Indian Spices…….a Soup was complete package by itself. A Show Stopper in the segment and FoodieXP’s recommendation.
Starters:
In Veg Starters Segment We tried Crispy Veg – batter fried Crispy veg served with garlic wasabi mayo was bang on taste. A thin coating of batter and crunchiness of vegies make this a perfect dish. Achari paneer tikka – A homemade mixed veg pickle flavoured spicy with cottage cheese slice cooked in char coal oven was another favourite among us. A little soft paneer will definitely take this dish to next level. Ajwaini Bharwa Mushroom -Crumbed mushroom stuffed with spices was appreciated by all mushroom lovers. The show stopper in Veg Segment was Achari paneer tikka.
In Non Veg Starters Segment, Murgh mirch tikka – Tandoor cooked chicken with double dose of chili still the show with its flavour and presentation. The combination of Indo chiness spices in Asian Chilli chicken disappoint me as I prefer it to be spicier. Lamb lovers admire Spicy Chilli lamb. The show stopper in Non Veg Segment was Murgh mirhc tikka.
In Main Course’s Veg Segment, Veg kofta – mixed vegetable’s kofta enhanced with goodness of indian flavours was delicious. Veg kofta set it aside from all kofta I tried till date. I am not mushroom lovers in gravy section so chilli mushroom gravy didn’t attract me much as I was enjoying Veg Kofta much.
In Main Course’s Non Veg Segment, Angara Chicken curry – Boneless chicken pieces cooked in almond and tomato paste was another delicious dish. I also liked Methi Murgh – tender chicken chunks cooked with assorted spices and fresh methi leaves. In show stopper spot both dishes were giving tough compilation to each other but Methi Murgh win’s it by an inch.
Last dish in main course segment was Kashmiri pulao – a very popular Kashmiri rice dish prepared with dry fruits, nuts and fresh fruits still our heart with it’s simplicity and perfection. Kashmiri pulao ends our Main Couse segment on very high node.
The ingredient used in the gravy are balanced and not too dominating. If you like strong flavours, then request can be attended.
am dessert lovers and always keep some room for dessert. We were served with gulab jamun and kheer. The in house preparation of Gulab Jamun was fresh , warm and moderate sweet. A north indian style Kheer where you get bit of basmati rice and flavours nuts and saffron was another delectable dish. At last we were served with Blueberry Cheese Cake. Mascarpone cheese mixed with blueberry which sits on top of a biscuit layer and topped by blueberries was heavenly dessert. The show stopper in the segment was blueberry Cheese Cake.
FoodieXP Verdict:
A quick break for delicious lunch or dinner after hectic day at work; Up The Bistro at Gachibowli is right place to enjoy delicious Continental and North Indian food. Thumps up for Up The Bistro.

Drizzle, breeze, amazing rooftop restaurant- UP THE BISTRO
You have to come to this place to unwind yourself on weekends or after a tiring day at work; you will certainly not get disappointed.
Invited for a tasting session and met other fellow foodies friends, as per location this place is quite a catch and easy accessible for techy’s. Crowd is good and you enjoy being lazy over here for sure. Situated above Chinese pavilion restaurant at rooftop, once you reach at 4th floor through lift you need to take the stairs.
Passion delight was amazing and the serving glass or jar rather was totally cool. Total refreshing drink, would try more in the menu on my next visit.
Started our session by Shorba, mock tail, starters, main course and of course dessert.
Murgh Makhni Shorba- The aroma of this shorba is so inviting that you can’t resist yourself to taste and trust me have it hot(of course soup should be hot while you eat/drink it)… I finished this within less than 5 minutes. It was tangy, sour, spicy all at the same and small chicken pieces where going well with the taste of shorba. They serve Naan breads in small cuts as accompaniment which compliments really well. A must try for all foodies……….:-)
Starters- We got “Murgh Mirch Tikka”, “Asian Chilli Chicken”, “Spicy Chili lamb”, “Crispy Veg”,” Achari “Paneer Tikka”, “Ajwani Bharwan Mushroom”
My favorites Bharwa mushroom- perfect stuffing, moist, cooked very well and just melt into mouth. Thumps up for this starter and I can have it again and again.
Murgh Mirch Tikka I loved the presentation and it’s sufficient for two people. Cooked well, marinating was perfect and flavors well balanced and its go great with mock tail.
Spicy chili lamb was again made to perfection- small and thin pieces of lambs cut to the perfection, indeed a great job by chef. Cooked well, soft, not at all chewy, gives you the Asian flavors with all spices and spring onions on the top.
Crispy Veg- Did not like much as I felt it was on saltier side though it could be better
Achari Paneer Tikka- Didn’t feel it was Achari Paneer as marinating was not that well and Paneer was not soft at all, bit chewy too. It can be on softer side and achari marinating level should rise then I would say it would be bang on.
Asian Chili Chicken- Was okay not that great not bad too.
Main course- “Angara Chicken Curry”, “Methi Murgh” Veg kofta Curry”, “Chilli mushroom gravy, “Roti/Naan/Kulcha,” Kashmiri Pulao”
My favorites- Chicken curry well chunked boneless pieces of chicken goes perfect with tandoori roti, it’s a medium level spice, salt was perfect and looked delicious. A must try for chicken lovers.
Methi Murgh again was bang on methi flavors were aromatic and taste blended well with chicken.
Veg kofta curry- It’s a delight to have this dish and veg lovers it’s a must try. The kofta balls were cooked so well that it was moist with the gravy which was thick, creamy, cooked to perfection. Kofta was made up of potato, carrots, cabbage, onions. Goes well with tandoori roti/Naan and also with Kashmiri pulao.
Kashmiri Pulao- Indeed an aromatic delight and makes you feel you are in Kashmir. Gives that rose, soft flavors- not at all spicy, rice was soft and sweet with the saffron flavors. Accompany with spicy or medium spicy gravy and relish the dish.
Dessert- I love dessert but somehow the gulab jamun and kheer didn’t go with my taste buds.
Would love to go again and try the dishes which I loved and something new too. Missed the blueberry cheese cake and I am sure will catch up for that soon.
All in all good place to relax and enjoy with gang or family.
It was a tasting session and my first event with the group. The place is a rooftop setup and easily located for new comers. There are a few places in the town which take care of presenation, taste and service at the same time and this is surely one of them. Coming to food we were served with murg makhani soup which will make any mughlai spicy food lover go crazy as usual soups are not spicy followed by asian chilli chicken, chilli lamb, crispy veggies, stuffed mushroom, achaari paneer tikka, murg mirch tikka... Among which all of them stand apart except the paneer and crispy veggies.
By the time we were served main course we were completely full with starters but still managed to taste their angaara chicken curry, methi murg and kashmiri pulao and none of them disappointing.
finally we were served deserts like gulab jamun, kheer and cheese cake which was highlight of the evening.
There are a very few places in town were you get quality food at VFM. Thanks to our host Mohd Zubair Ali and Adil Siddiqui #CravyGlutton for their hospitality and hope to join them again.
Went there for a food tasting event. The menu from the start till the end was👌.
Started with soup Murgh makhni soup, a classy taste which will just enlighten your taste buds with tanginess and the buttery flavour in it, which was served along with a slice of Indian bread.
Then came in the starters the Murgh mirch tikka is delicious, the spicy flavours in the tikka just adds a good kick to your taste buds...
Asian chilli chicken, ammm the flavours were good but had the chicken be more tender, it would have been great.
Spicy Chilli lamb from the moment it came on table my eyes were delighted to see this dish.. the juicy lamb and what to say about the flavours they were just awesome.
Ajwani Bharwan mushroom, the bharwa in the mushrooms was so perfect the moist flavours and the smokiness added up to the dish an extra level..
When it came to the main course ahh wished i could had an extra tummy bag along with me, the main course had the angara chicken curry, the veg kofta curry, the chilli mushroom gravy, the methi murgh were all of these tasted good as well...
but hold on what you can feel, taste the best for the night was still to come the "Kashmiri pulao"...ahhaa what flavours it had the mouth watery rice just blew my mind. 😍Loved it.
The sweetest delight to deserts came with the blueberry cheesecake just lovely it was made...👍. Though the Gulab Janum were a bit sweet for me, may be one can enjoy it... as i am not a very much sweet lover.
Along with there was a passion delight drink which was also wonderful and yes not to forget the great hospitality. Great work guys...😊
I have been to this place over 6 times by now. Have seen it growth month on month basis since it started. Here are the goods and bads of this place :-
Goods
1) Ambience is great. They have indoor, outdoor and rooftop sitting. Thanks to breezy nights of Hyderabad, you can chitchat with your friends for hours lounging in comfy chairs, here.
2) Food is good in comparison to other cafe in the town and have varieties from snack to continental to indian main course.
3) Mocktails are good. I like Spritzer and Mojito here. Be careful before you order Mocked Champagne. It contains ginger juice which I found little too strong for my liking.
4) Moderately priced.
5) And of course HOOKKAAH.
Bads
1) Waiters a little inexperienced. Many a times to do not know what a drink or dish contain. Also, service is not that swift.
2) They have started live music which is good but I prefer light music in cafe type ambience.
3) Of lately it has started becoming crowded which is good for their business. But I used to love this place because it used to be calm and peaceful place where you could go, relax and spent time with you friends. It is just not that anymore.
anyways I would recommend to visit this place ....

The word bistro means a small restaurant serving inexpensive or moderately prices dishes in a decent setting. Olive bistro first set the precedence by being one of the best in its class but it was anything but light on the pocket , there are few new ones which have come up in the recent months who are good i.e they are pocket friendly and don’t cost a bomb.
A nice chilled out evening spent at the place we have been wanting to visit for some time now . Up The Bistro located near Gachibowli needs no introduction , heard many good reviews about this place . The restaurant offers Indian , Chinese & Conti food .
Started with Passion Delight a refreshing drink and was good , Starters we had Spicy Cheddar Cheese & Jalapeño Cigarellos was Yummy and went well with Spicy dip and my wife had Murgh Mirch Tikka the feedback from her was amazing . For the main course we had Afghani Murgh & Chef Special Veg curry with Butter Naan .
Gulab Pista Ki thandi Kheer for a change was the best kheer I had in recent past , the only disappointment for me was the Blueberry Cheesecake .
Overall a Relaxed & a cozy place to hang out amidst the hustle bustle of the city with some good food to offer.
I was looking for a Restaurant to treat my friends and I was recommended by my Colleague Lokender Jain to try this out. At first I was quite not sure about the place, but he assured me that it would be nice and yes it was.
Tried Tandoor Brocolli for the first time and loved it. Manchuria was bit oily but flavoursome. Crispy veg was cruncy with nice veggies. Paneer Tikka Sandwich was out of the world. Soft and melting in the mouth.
In the main course, paneer butter masala was extremely good tasting like dhabha. Naan was soft.
Special mention to Biryani which was tawa made and not regular dum briyani
Mocktails were good except that it was too sweet.
In the dessert section, Blueberry Cheese Cake was very delicious. Kheeer was the best I ever had.
Overall an amazing place with rooftop and closed section too. I would visit again.
I was invited over for a food tasting event, the update, however, is unbiased. Rooftop and awesome weather is always a good combo and if you have great music too, it becomes super awesome, Yes! that is how it was. Up the bistro like my previous review has a calm and positive aura.
Now, coming down to the food - The food menu was pre-defined.
The evening started with Malai Murg Makhani, chicken soup of a kind, it was hot yet calm, spices weren’t too dominant yet it was spicy. That is how subtle it was and you’d know how beautifully it was cooked. You could taste that it wasn’t just some veg soup topped with some pieces of chicken, it was all cooked up together. I was awed and what was the cherry on the top, the pieces of naan that were served with it.
Then we had the starters coming in which were Achari Murgh Tikka, Asian Chilli Chicken, Spicy Chili lamb, Crispy Veg, Achari Paneer Tikka, Ajwani Bharwan Mushroom. I’d say the best were Achari murg tikka that comes hanging on the rod, amazing presentation! Spicy chilly lamb – moist and tender with great flavors and the mushroom – OMG! That literally was one of the best stuffed mushrooms that I have had till date. The crispy veg had a lot of exotic vegetable, unlike other restaurants it has broccoli, baby corns and many other.
From the main course what hit the cord for me was the Kashmiri pulao –AMAZING! The main course and the deserts were equally good, just that when you love every dish on your plate, you wont have enough place to stuff in the main course. ;)
PREVIOUS VISIT:
Visited this place around 12:30, when you cant find easily around the city. We ordered a chicken starter, chicken in gravy and butter naan. The butter naans were really soft which awed me, the chicken varieties too tasted good. This rooftop impressed me. The music was good, the kinda songs you'd want to listen to when you're eating your food and a variety of options to pick from.
The only thing - a can of pepsi for 75 😰
Up the bistro is situated near gachibowli flyover. A relaxing place to chill with your Frnds . its a roof top place.
They have open as well as an closed ac section. The ambience in the evening is pleasing you with cool breeze around.
They have a good variety of food and have items ranging from Indian , Chinese, Italian in their menu. A special mention has to be given to presentation of dishes. I feel Presentation is given equal importance to taste .
We had ordered strawberry virgin mojito which was refreshing .
Mediterranean smoothie which has strawberry, mango, cucumber and basil was really good thick , sweet and the flavour were very much tickling the taste buds. Smoothie was really good.
For food we had ordered spicy cheddar and jalpeno cigarellos. A stylish name for a very good dish. These rolls were crispy from outside and nice spicy paste inside making it a tempting combination.
Shanghai tulip nicely baked tulip shaped dish . crunchy and yummy .
The best of all the dishes was malai broccoli this should be their USP. We have very few places which serve such yummy broccoli . soft tender and awesome flavour . this is a must for ppl who love broccoli. Nicely baked topping just added to it flavour I guess the cheese baking was done with a fire gun and to perfection .
For desert as their USP Indian fusion tart and fire ice crm were not available we had walnut brownie & choco fudge sauce. The brownie were really fresh and soft it was melting in mouth and was yummmmm. One of the best u can have in bistros.
The hookah was also good
Over all the food and drinks were really good not even a single thing about it can be complained for. But the service on the given day was a bit slow. They had some event in the evening and the same can be a reason for slow service.
A recommend place from my side and will visit often to try their other items
It's not a huge place but cool enough. The uppermost terrace seating is small n nicely done. The crowd seemed good. I loved the pasta primavera and the drinks. Simply awesome drinks n so refreshing.

Been there last weekend. It being an awesome weather chose to take the terrace seating which was small yet nice with minimum lighting yet sufficient enough to enjoy the food. However due to rain we had to move inside. DId not try the hookah so cannot comment on it. However we ordered two drinks which was pretty nice served in mason jars and the taste was good.
Coming to food we had ordered greek salad with feta cheese. Now coming to the salad although i have not tried it earlier but can still say that the one I ordered was SALTY. Had it been little less salty it would have tasted good.
Second item was the primavera alfredo pasta in white sauce which i felt , that one plate of it was more than enough for me and had to be shared to get it finished :) . The sauce was Yummy.!!!!
Third food was chicken croquette. It was basic sausage and fried till golden . It was okay.
Service was good. Outdoor seating seemed pleasant.
Wow. Just wow.
This place was on our radar for long now, since we wanted to visit here specifically for dinner and we finally made it.
The place is really good. It has open terrace hence it feels wonderful during nights with the breeze and the view. That feel was amazing.
The food has amazed us too. The variety of food that's available is just amazing. The chef specialises in pasta, hence we ordered that and it was very good. Both Veg and Non-veg pastas. The starters were sumptuous. The Murg Tikka was the stand out. Others like The Wings, Malai Brocli, Veg Manchurian was very good.
The grill chicken with mash potatoes and veggies was very nice. Roti and curry were very delicious. The biryani was good too.
The mocktails were very nice too.
Service was reasonably quick and they staff were courteous.
We enjoyed alot at this place. Very happy with our experience. Would love to go again.
It's never too late to express your delightful experience. This Sunday evening was planned with a couple of fun loving, crazy close friends and we were indecisive of where to go.. Beautiful weather wanted us to explore some place which was open, airy, on the terrace, scenic and serene.. And, bingo I yelled UP THE BISTRO.. Immediately, got in touch with our very own Mohd Zubair Ali.. N yes, this place is definitely gonna take u UP in spirit, energy and definitely food n sheesha... Sheesha flavours were nice and we enjoyed every bit of it.. We did not eat much this time but the menu definitely was exciting and it is worth another visit again and again. We ordered Chilli Murgh Tikka, Chocolate and Hazelnut shake, Chocolate and Banana shake and Strawberry smoothie.. Tikka was in our tummies at the blink of an eye..mouth watering, melt in the mouth.. And all the drinks definitely had the right consistency, sweetness and left us craving for more...
Overall, a must visit place if you have some really crazy group, amazing ambience and not to forget a wonderful host!
P.S. Not many pics though, but I wish to be there again soooooonn! 🙂

This place is regarded as one of the best rooftops of the city and I, too, agree to that. Spacious, airy with nice ambience which do not give a claustrophobic feeling. The waiters are too courteous and they know their job well. Food wise, I would say that they are good.
Over last night...getting bored...we move to this place just for some timepass....and the place is really very nice rooftop... Nice ambience good music...and great taste. We ordered one kiwi crush ice tea and one champagne moctails..along with that..we ordered one bharwan mushroom starter.
drinks are good enough...
Coming to the starter...it was yummy...tasty...I tried this particular starter in other restaurants also...here the taste is completely perfect..thinking of it..mouthwatering 😉
Overall very good place to enjoy... Just love it...Naresh Muthukuru
Up The Bistro is one of the best rooftop restaurant in the city and a best place to have a candle light dinner or a date with the one you love.
The best part about this place is the management takes all kind of feedbacks with a positive attitude to provide better service to us which makes me give them a high five with a 5 Rating.
Dishes I would like to suggest to people who visit this place are
1) Malai Broccoli
2) Tulsiwala Panner
3) Tandoori Pudina Aloo
4) Mushroom Muttor Masala
5) Dal makkani ( On request )
6) Murgh Mirch Tikka ( My friends order this all the time)
7) Biryani
8) Passion Delight Mocktail

Yet another mandi place in town.
Up the bistro is now Up mandi house.
There are many places coming up but not everything is good.
So the major aspects for me in a mandi are flavourful rice , juicy meat , good accompaniments.
This place has got it all. I just loved their juicy mutton mandi.
.
Apart from mandi this is the best umm ali I've tasted in hyderabad.
The appetizers though we're decent but not great.
.
Another important point is that this place has got veg mandi. Yes you've got it right. They have veg mandi as well. You can't expect much from veg mandi But this is surely an option for vegetarians.

Great ambience.. Good food.. nyc place to hangout wid friends for both boys and girls 😍
Superb taste...! Good ambience... Good place to hang out...
Ambience is good. Good place to have some beautiful talks with your beloved ones. Nice view on the rooftop. Food is really tasty than expected.
Prefer going for dinner, not lunch.
Location: Near Maulana Azad University Lane Entrance , Beside the Gachibowli Flyover in the same building that houses Chinese Pavilion Restaurant
Ambiance : Located on the roof top just beside the road and the flyover , you would expect too much noise which apparently isn’t the case. It was bearable during the entire duration we were there. (7pm-9:30pm or so). They have four options for your seating comfort. Closed space which has A/C and a television screen if you want no noise and just want to enjoy your meal this is the place to be.
The open air covered roof top setup is ideal for the evening times and for enjoying hukkah and chatting with friends, a small setup in on the same floor which can be converted into a private dining area for families or couples who like to enjoy a romantic setup. Live bands & music session was setup in that space on more than one occasion in the recent past which unfortunately I was not part of.
A small staircase leads to the open terrace where you have additional seating available , breezy atmosphere at the top but dimly lit. Good for private parties and office treats
The interiors were done up well but it was not something unique or stood out as having an ultra-glam look
Feedback : Valet parking was not available and if you park in front of Café Coffee day , there is a possibility of getting stuck if someone double parks and boxes you in
Food :
I wanted to try the food so ended up ordering Non-Veg Starters directly which were Asian Chilli Chicken, Chilli lamb, Delhi Fried Chicken, Talawa Gosht,
Almost all the dishes were good, but didn’t give me a wow feel to it. Standard run of the mill tried and tasted similar dishes elsewhere. A dish which makes me crave coming back again and again was not these unfortunately, will have to try their remaining offerings to update the review accordingly
Talawa Gosht had the mutton pieces a little undercooked, a minute more on the pan would have made it better.
Main Course : Ordered some Butter Naan & Chicken Lababdar, it was tasty and flavorful then we tried the Tawa Biryani, if you do not compare it with the regular dum biryani then it is much better. Biryani was tasty and can hold its own and didn’t require any accompaniments
Desserts: Blueberry cheese cake was amazing, having had that in so many places across India and Abroad. It came as a pleasant surprise when i took the first bite, it was moist and creamy with a soft crust. It is one of the dishes on the menu that is a must have on all accounts.
Starters were good, main course better & last but not the least the dessert stole the show & sealed the deal for me
Ambience is lovely and fresh air creeps up ur face anytime since its an open terrace. Waiters there are friendly and patient.coming to food they are not worthy but taste wise they are good enough. Try biryani its different from authentic hyderabad biryani.
Mandi house..
.New management.
Ambience is great
Gachibowli... Roof top restaurant.
Nice view
Hopefully they should improve the quality of the food
And add some variety to the menu
...
A prefty decent place if u r looking for the mandi. Only thing is that there a rarely people here which might limit your options of the menu (The mutton mandi was not available and the only option we had was a chicken mandi). Would be a good idea to call the place and confirm if they have everything on the menu
The fame garned by Arabian cuisine in Hyderabad is a news to no one. With each spent day we have getting more and more of these joints and restaurants serving this incredible cuisine. Up Mandi House is yet another Arabian restaurant that has opened up in place of the earlier Up The Bistro. Located at the top floor of the Cafe Coffee Day complex on the Gachibowli road going towards Indiranagar, the restaurant occupies the perfect rooftop giving the diners options from varieties of outdoor and indoor seatings. While outdoors have the table chair arrangement, the indoor seating provides the traditional touch of arabian floor seating.
Must try dishes have to be their Chicken Wings, Fish Tikka and Mix Meat Mandi. They also have a Veg Mandi for the Vegetarians in the group.
Awesome place ,superb Mandi biryani !!
I was surprised I lived so close to this place but never noticed it. The place has open-air and closed seating arrangements. Food was delicious and quantity was also decent. Fairly priced.
This place is awesome. nice location. Up mandi tastes are very good in low prices .
Food is delicious.. I recommend this place for every one.. best place for families outing dinner.
