Dragon chicken and schwezawan noodle are very tasty . I have tried many time. Never regretted . It had proper spicey level like north indians
Hi everybody i'm from mumbai just transferred from there to hyderabad and love chinese food.
I had most of popular chinese places in hyderabad and last night i visited this place with one my college i was surprised their dishes wich contains LOTS OF EXOTIC vegetables which no other restaurants were using wich i had visited till now and the taste was awesome quantity good enough.Great place ill visit again to taste other dishes.
I ordered their Chicken Triple Rice one day because I didn't feel like stuffing down the PG dinner, and because it shares it's name with very popular dish we have at college. The random choice turned out to be a very good one. There were two containers, one with fried rice topped with deep fried noodles, and the other with chicken in a delicious sweet and sour sauce. The food was enough to be my dinner and my lunch the next day, and tasted great. I was really surprised to find such a generous amount of peppers and broccoli in a dish so affordable.
I've ordered the same dish several times now. It's always been up to the mark, and something I would highly recommend!
Have been visiting this place intermittently owing to the vicinity from my office. A small unassuming place with no-frills-attached decor and a decent sitting arrangement. On my recent visit last week, I ordered my all time favorite Veg Manchow Soup served with Fried Noodles, Veg Hakka Noodles, Manchurian Gravy and Veg Spring Rolls. Veg Spring Rolls were quite good with ample filling and a crunchy crust served with Schezwan Sauce. They are very consistent with Manchow Soup and the noodles came with good amount of vegetables (babycorn, brocolli n mushrooms). For the price they charge, it is definitely VFM and recommended.
Ordered hunan soup and asparagus and mushroom vegtables in garlic sause. Quality good and food was fresh. But as i had cold, asked them to put pepper in soup. Seems like they completely ignored, there was no spice in soup. Overall its simplle , plain and healthy.
Writing Chinese dishes reviews are my fav. I must tell you the manchow soup is really really awesome here. Then prawn as starter,it was good but little salty otherwise the crisp and taste is really scrumptious. In main course ordered mixed Hakka and chicken in hot garlic sauce ,Noddles was OK but chicken was too watery which killed its taste. Even Hakka quantity was not that much. Talking about service , was good.
Good Restaurant!
Value for Money... I visit it at least once a week...
People who like "Spicy"...must try their "Schezwan Chopsuey" (Veg/Non-Veg)
Went with colleagues for dinner. A very cute place with seating capacity of just 15-20 people. Ordered chicken momos and deep fried chicken with BBQ sauce. The momos were soft and juicy but over priced. The deep fried chicken had a nice flavour to it. Our choice for main course was schezwan chicken fried rice and noodles. Could have been spicy but really liked it. Must say the service was very quick and prompt.
Ambience: 3/5
Food : 3.5/5
Value for money: 4/5
Service: 5/5
It's a small place under the MORE super market ,Food was good and we had our belly filled . we orders veg and non-veg combo .. Price was decent and taste is good .we have ordered dragon chicken which was my favorite and it was delicious .waiters were so friendly and they were ready food as you like .I was a nice dinner with friends
The hunt for chinese at gachibowli ends here. A small cute place with lot of options on the menu. We ordered dragon chicken, chicken fried noodles, wet veg Manchuria and egg noodles. Everything was perfectly made and quantity was sufficient. One plate can be shared easily between two. Manchuria and dragon chicken was amazing. VFM is very good, will definitely visit again.
Small place and decent taste for the price u pay. Hakka noodles and Hakka sauce is good and I prefer this restaurant when I get fed up with local biryani.
After a long time visited this place again n had my favourite dishes CH manchow soup, dragon prawns n hunan noodles ch the taste was as usual awesome. This guys maintaining the same taste n quality great.
I ordered the Hunan fried rice, chilly chicken and egg rice. Delivered on time, flavoursome and successfully spiced, the food proved to be an amazing dinner!!!
This is a very small place, looks more like an urban dhaba. Surroundings are clean, service a little slow, however the food is good, he makes a variation of kung pow chicken which happens to be my personal favourite.
Ordered from here via Swiggy, the food is always hot and packed well.
It is a small place, but the food is great. I've had the egg noodles, hot and sour soup, chilly chicken, and a few more varieties. All their dishes are good, and tasty. I would specially remark on the quantity, one dish is usually more than how much two people can eat.
Great value for money, good variety, tasty Chinese food, a must try. It's a small place with decent ambience so dine in might not be preferred by all, but a great place to order for home delivery surely.
The food was awesome, my carving for prawns was fulfiled by their yummy fried prawns in chilli oyester sauce. The place was smelling bad, there was no one wen we enterd the place. Food here is really great for chinese lovers. Must try!
Went for 2nd time tdy.. ordered for dragon prawns, schezwan noodles and oyester chicken. All the three were good.
Especially the prawns were delicious but the quantity was low. They should add 3 to 4 more pieces in their servings. I have eaten from here for 3 times and i loved its food!
Good food love their Mongolian chicken situated next to Rice bowl, one of the best affordable place for Chinese food in Gachibowli..........
I have not visited the place, but placed an order through the zomato order app. The food was suppose to arrive in 70 mins but it reached within 30 mins.. Taste wise food was very good. I loved how they used broccoli, baby corn, bell peppers and carrots in chicken hunan sauce.. Though a non vegetarian I love eating vegies. The quantity was huge and enough to feed 2 full grown people. Over all a good experience. I would love to order again.
We Indians love the Chinese and by that I mean Indian Chinese food. I' m sure most of us have tasted the wok fried pepper chicken, or the Manchuria with noodles and we sure love the grease sometimes.
Hunan Spice provides the Indian Chinese as we like it. We walked in for a quick lunch, and ordered Dragon Chicken, Chicken in Schezuan Sauce and Chilly garlic noodles.
Service was on time, and we got our food neatly placed in bowls and served up on our plates. Now to dig in.
I expected the Dragon Chicken would be crispier but it was tasty nonetheless. Quite spicy, I think the green chillies did the trick.
Next for the Schezuan curry it was just the right mix of sweet and Spice. The chilly garlic rice were the perfect accompaniment. I just love the taste of fried garlic in the rice.
We skipped the dessert but they have a apple with vanilla ice cream which is quit unique and should be tried here.
Quantity was good for two.
I have been many times to the area but never observed it. So a evening where climate is to cold and I was in a need of warmth food some how got reminded of chopsey.. While going through some restaurants in zomato under pan Asia category found this. Started for Just giving a try.
This place is located a bit in under ground. Ambiance seems to look okay okay.. Ordered veg sechzwan chopsey as I needed it hot and spicy. The chef has did his best and it was up to the mark. I would not say best but okay for the cost. This restaurant has wide varieties of Chinese dishes. With the taste of one dish I had I can give a guess that food quality would be good and low on pocket.
The location is a big plus for this restaurant.. Gachibowli centre where i visit very frequently they are a set of food joints here and all these joints are good... One of the best fast food centers... Small place with neat surroundings, food is one reason to visit this place... Spicy chinese food they do it great... If u like spicy food and chinese u will like it soup i like the most noodle is good👍🏼
Got totally tired after a shopping session and on our way back home thought to go to Hunan Spice. This is located opposite to the Al Saba restaurant and in the ground floor of same building of more market. There are multiple food joints located in this same building and this is my favourite. You need to get down a few steps down to go to this place and once you enter in the first thing you feel is its not a very big place. A few tables and chairs and low loght. This restaurant satisfies my craving of Chinese food and pocket friendly menu.
Food:
Food I had in this restaurant are Chicken Lung Fung soup, Prawns pepper chilli, Drums of heaven, Dragon chicken, Prawn Szechuan sauce, Szechuan Mixed fried rice (Not on the menu but made for me as per my request). Soup was good and Dragon chicken was a little sweet for my liking but that is how the dish is supposed to be so I wouldn't complain. I am big fan of sea food and the prawns were yumm and P.s they are big in size too(happy face). Drums of heaven are made so soft that they just melted in my mouth. Szechuan Mixed fried rice is very well done too. Except for the soup I would recommend everything I had. I am definitely going to this place many times from now and trying their rest of the menu.
Ambiance:
Ambiance is the aspect where this restaurant scores low. But to say it isn't very bad. It's a small place. But what I thought after having food here is good things come in small packages.
Service:
Service is quick. The staff here are very friendly both the manager and the people who serve. The manager monitors the kitchen and any flaw in the dish he guides the chefs to make it the right way so that the mistake doesn't repeat and the authenticity of Chinese food is not ignored. They even took my request to customize the dishes as per my liking and did it the way I wanted. What else do you expect :)
Food: 4.5/5
Ambiance: 2.5/5
Service: 4/5
Overall its total value for money.
I am definitely going back here to try all other dishes :)
My wife's favourite place for chinese this side of town. The price is cheap considering the quality/quantity of food you get here compared to the big chinese brands in the city. Order anything and you will go home with a satisfied palette and not so light wallet. The saucy dishes were my favourite.
Hidden Chinese gem. Nice place to have Chinese food. Reasonable, pocket friendly. There combos are very good and worth trying. Even the dishes are good and tastier. All the starters as well the main course is different and has unique flavour of its own. Only concern in the restaurant is the lights.
Food
Starters are good and tastes good. Manchow soup was good, a little on the spicy side but it helped in.recovering from cold :p. The noodles we orderes were very soft and the flavour was too good. It has a slight taste of garlic with maby different flavour. to be frank the noodles here doesn't require a gravy to have with. Gravy of dumplings was also good and the red sauce was giving a unique taste.
Ambiance
Low lights are not so good for the family or casual dining and it gives a surrounding of bar. Other then this there is nothing much of a concern as this is place to have food rather then Ambiance.
Service
Service is good and faster. staff helps you with the menu and suggest the best possible combos and varieties.
Overall experience
Good. worth trying. do try once
Food - 4/5

A gem hidden somewhere in the bottom of building near to rice bowl. I loved the chinese at this place. It's in telecom Nagar just opposite to Al-Saba. A small restraunt with less or negligible crowd (reason unkown). Nothing to mention about ambeince. More talk should be on food. Ordered Hunana noodles which were simply amazing and loaded with all kinds of veggies with enough amount of chicken. Then comes veg scheawain chopsy and same chicken chopsy. The chopsy's were pretty good with sauce quite think and sufficient for 2 people. The tast of all 3 dishes was so good that you don't need to add any extra sauces as topping. Price wise very easy on pocket as well. Was so hungry that missed to click the pics but will upload few in my next visit.
Good Chinese found here... Enjoyed the noodles... Especially the veggies found in them... The chilly prawns was not upto the name but overall great experience 😊
Ordered their combo meal the quality and quantity was quite good. Their service is quite quick and overall a decent place to order food. They need to improvise the packaging for home delivery
Initially it was a nice place to have chinese food. But became very average later on.But, I should say it is not a bad place to have chinese food.
Food 3.5/5
Service 3.5/ 5
VFM 4/5
We were scared to enter when no one was dere. Still with my all guts I ordered chicken Hakka noodles n chicken Hunan sauce. Both the dish was awesome. The chicken hunan came with baby corn n mushroom. Can be compared with kim fung and blue diamond. I will definitely go n try other items next time. Oh yes its pocket friendly. Sad thing is no ambience. But yes the nearest Chinese restaurants to my place.
I've ordered Drums of Heaven and Chilly Pepper Prawns. It amazed me to look at how little oil was used to prepare these. They not only tasted wonderful but also, left a lasting impression in my palate. Will certainly try their Barbecue Chicken Wings soon

So far I have only ordered home delivery from the Hunan Spice via FoodPanda. Their service has been good. I usually get my food in 30 mins.
Their quantity is also decent, maybe not comparable by Hyderabad Biriyani standards but good by normal Chinese standards.
So far I have ordered Shanghai Chicken, Dragon Chicken, American Chosuey, Chicken Schezwan Noodles and Hunan Chicken.
The starters were well made with less flour coating. The chopsuey was typical with red sweet gravy and a fried egg. The noodles were quite tasty though, very schezwan like.
The gravy items were a bit of a letdown though. Too much starch and cornflour in the gravy to make it thick. Not very good for the tummy as I found out the next day when I had to spend 20 mins in the toilet.
Went there searching for the very popular Zomoz' momos.
Ordered some noodles and soups.
And they didnt disappoint.
☺☺
Try it out for some simple chinese dishes.
Wow, what an amazing place. I have been in US and had lots of Chinese food. And when I came back, I wasn't expecting that I'll find any such good Chinese food. However It's my luck to find this delicious eat out.
Best soup: hot and sour (chicken or veggie)
Best entree : Schezwan Hakka noodle
Best appetiser : chicken Manchurian
And the best part is that, if you are a Momos lover, then you can eat them here at a very nominal price. They have a small sit out where in you can chit chat, laugh out loud and still enjoy your momos.
My fav momos: Chicken tikka and Chicken tandoori momos
This is my go to place for ' Bombay Chinese' ! Only place in Hyderabad where once can get close to Mumbai street Chinese food taste so far, you can't go wrong here with the simple standard fare that's easy on your pocket as well !
Chilly chicken / ginger chicken are amongst my favorites as well as the oriental rice is very nice. A pretty decent manchow soup as well !
The home delivery portions though have recently come down in size :( !
Tasty chinese food
"Finally we have a classy chinese restaurant .Any reason hunan is the place to celebrate
Staff is v humble,attentive
Chinky boys keep thanking us every sentence-break from the snooty- i dont care waiters, keep refilling, serving politely
Just for the price of a chicken soup i ever had, 2 veg starters,1 non veg starter, fried rice,noodles,1 veg gravy ,1 non veg gravy.and 1 deserts.
We feel good after the meal no sick feeling like in other restaurants.
I'll visit this place again n again I hope they continue this type of food and service every time I visit.
Good food and safe bet for Chinese in Gachibowli.
They need to work on their oil content in noodles too much oil
Chicken starters looking for more variety and bit more portions
Have not been to the restaurant but have ordered food from this place a couple of times. The food was really great but the delivery service is really poor. They are always late, but they make up for it all the time with the food which make me order food from here again and again
This is real great place if you are a chinese food lover and don't want to spend a lot of money on great food.
I frequently order there combo meals for home delivery, which are very economical. Home delivery is punctual and reliable. I highly reccomend this place.
Cheap indianised chinese (chindian) food with above average taste. If you are looking for ambience steer clear of this place, this is a noisy eatery with cramped tables. I usually order food from here to my place. You would find nothing authentically chinese here. I have had a bunch of dishes from their menu and they all tasted nice though couple of times i felt that they lack the consistency in their taste. There had been a couple of occasions where the salt levels in the food were either too high or too low.
The service is good and quick.
Overall this is one of the better off spots to have good chindian food hence remains my go to place for the same.
Amazing stuff for a home delivery. Tons of quantity per serving should satisfy even the hungriest glutton in the group. Order usually arrives in 30-40 minutes in properly packed plastic containers. What more can you ask for?
Edit: Decided to add a bit to the rating. The 5/5 rating is not meant to imply that the food at Hunan Spice is better or superior to the food at the top-end Chinese restuarants like Mainland China or Nanking. It is obviously not even close. But considering that they serve tons of quantity in an order worth 600-700 bucks (enough for three people), the place is value for money. In sum: if you're too lazy to cook your own food or are starving for some Chinese food, then ordering from this place would not be a bad option.
This is the second time i have visited this place. U should be selective with the menu. I have ordered spring rolls, thai red curry, chilly chicken wet, and hunan fried rice. The chilly chicken is average and others are good. If you are looking for a budget chinese with good food, this is for you.
Decent place if you want to get something quick to satisfy your Chinese cravings. Ambiance is ok. Food is decent enough - but freshly prepared and tasty. Management hospitality is also very good.
The food is too good here. Specially momos and non veg starters ... Prices are nominal .
Good place for Chinese food...speedy service.. I tried combos too...combos are good , not highly priced .. Quantity is descent.. Taste of the food is just awesome.
POCKET FRIENDLY !! This is not a place where you would want to sit if you are looking for good ambiance. It is pretty hard to locate in the first place. The restaurant is tiny but clean.
The staff is friendly. The food is more towards the authentic Chinese side (not fully though). You can expect a few non spicy dishes with some unfamiliar herbs. The taste of a few dishes comes very close to those of Mainland China.
On the whole, it is good for a small gathering that wants to eat semi spicy food. If you like Mainland China then there are high chances that you might like this one too.
Ate white gravy steamed noodles, along with chicken in green sauce (thai)... I must say its the best in this part of the city... Guys try it out...
Awesome Chinese.. Reasonably priced. Ideal takeaway place. Try honey chicken. Though not on the menu ask for it and you shall be pleasantly surprised
A good place to have chinese in gachibowli , Better than Wonton both in terms of food and price. Don;t expect good ambience , you don't visit such places for ambience
Chicken DrumSticks (Drums of heaven ) - 4.5/5
Veg Fried Rice + Chicken Hunan Style - 4/5
Service is prompt but nothing fancy .
Ambience is Minimal
This is a rather inconspicuous place, right under the more super market in Gachibowli. If you've ever been to the famous pizzeria "Over The Flames", the hunan spice is right next door.
I've been to this place quite a few times, & have always come out with the same pleasant feeling. What ever you order here will at-least be eatable is what i believe.
The ambiance is just basic, nothing much to talk about there.
This time i went with a bunch of friends, for starters we ordered the chicken drumsticks. They were decent, nothing to dislike there. For main course we ordered an Chicken american chopsey, a shezwan chicken noodles, a brocolli mushroom oriental sauce item. The american chopsey & the shezwan noodles were good, but the brocolli entree was a little too bland for my taste, nevertheless i liked how it tasted. I guess the shezwan noodles was a little too flavourfull & when i had the brocolli entree it tasted bland.
Then we went with the iceream with banana toffee for dessert. It was okay, the combination is one of the most prevalant one when it comes to fried items pairing up with iceream goes. They had a tinge of honey to the fried banana & it gave a distinct flavor, which we liked.
Last but not the least, the service. I did not find their service, upto the mark. My friend asked the waiter to get some onions & salads, but we never got them. We literally had to ask for the waiter to take our order to start with. The service is too slow, owing to just one or two waiters catering to all the 8 odd tables they have. That definitely needs improvement.
Taste - 3.5/5
Service - 3.0/5
Ambiance - 3.0/5
Value for money - 3.5/5
Would go again: Maybe
Recommend: Yes.
Price for 2: Rs 500/- (incl. tax)
Food is too good... We often go there for lunch. Thai food is exceptional. Small but nice place. Service is good.
A simple place to have decent chinese. You cannot expect too much from this restaurant in terms of ambiance, but for food, surely decent one.
Situated near Over the flames, in Gachibowli, Telecom nagar. Small set up with hygiene and cleanliness properly maintained. Pricing is very reasonable and you can alwasy come here for a casual meal.
Starters: Momos are decent, the garlic sauce served with momo is actually good, not too spicy, lots of flavour of garlis and goes well with hot momos. Other starters are decent too, including gobhi manchuria, crispy babycorn etc.
Main course: Hakka noodles were very good, very simpe preparation, not oily, full of vegetables. Fried rice and manuria was decent too. Should try the brocoli and baby corn in oriental sauce, good one. After having chinese here, you will not feel as if you are having it in such a small joint. The quality is properly maintained and you will surely enjoy the meal.
Service is good, not professionally trained staff, but still will serve you properly.
Rating is purely based on food, service and pricing and not the ambiance.
Ordered in veg noodles, kungpo chicken, chicken manchurian and dimsums. Delivery time was reasonable and so was the price. Food front, the noodles and kungpo chicken were really good. Dimsums tasted good as well with the supplied chutney. the only downer was the chicken manchurian. Too bland for my taste. overall, its still value for money.
I have been ordering from hunan since two years. There is no change in the taste & quality. They provide different options on spice..low, medium, strong. The way they respond to orders is good & the attitude they show is awesome. Very friendly.
Timely delivery. Price range was fine. Ordered salt n pepper fish, steamed momos and triple fried rice. Momos were excellent. Fish was ok. Triple rice is good it has rice with some fried noodles and separate gravy. Colour can be reduced in the triple rice though .
Food was good. Service lacked promptness and exactness. The chef ended up cooking non-veg curry for a veg order:) The staff was polite and courteous.
It's the best place in Hyderabad to have Indian chinese that I have found till now. The chilli chicken and kung pao chicken are delicious. The noodles and rice are well cooked. The food gets delivered in time. It's cheap and doesn't burn a hole in your pocket. Overall a good choice if you need regular take out!
We ordered the usual standard Chinese dishes.
We had the Schezwan chicken dry, Chilli Chicken, chilli garlic noodles and veg hakka noodles.
All of the dishes were decent, and was decently priced.
Delicious food for less price with good quality and quantity
Loved the food. In Hyderabad it is hard to find a place that uses less spices. My kids loved the food because it wasn't spicy at all - they had given us chili sauce separately so we could spice up our meal after the kids ate. I will order again. Delivery was fast and food was hot when arrived.

Awesome food. One of those few places which serve good food but aren't really publicly hyped as such. You should try their soups, they're quite great.
Its more authentic chinese taste like expensive chinese resto and it serves hygenic food far superior than any unknown chinese restaurant in same price range. Value for money. Take away is suggested.
Great place clean and hygienic Chinese food tastes good and at a very nominal price.
Decent small Chinese place with decent food. Price is pocket friendly without any compromise in quality.
Great Chinese cuisine.. love their kumpao chicken and mixed fried rice
this is the perfect place were you can have superb chinese food .
After long search had awesome Chinese food at Hunan spice
Very nice place to taste chinese food.
delicious Chinese food ..esp veg Manchurian
One of my fav chinesee place...
Loved the veg hunan noodles
Nice restaurant with tasty food
Service and quality is good
