Been there a hundred times over the years! The best dishes i think are corn fish, chicken majestic and chicken Tikka masala! I even love the chicken fried rice at this place! Service is on time, and it doesn't make a hole in your pocket! Being one of the few restaurants in that area, it has successfully managed to stand out!
One of the oldest Restaurants in yousuf tekri. The Biryani is the best in tolichowki. If you are lucky you may get a taste of it only before 9 pm . One of the only restaurant which does not make it commercially but with a lot tradition. Mutton 99 is also a favourite here. And if you are looking for a decent Chinese(indian) menu then Maks is the place in tolichowki.
They are also starting grills soon.
Form many years they r the same
Same style same taste n staff
From long tim we go here
The chicken
Tangdi kababs
Biriyani mutton r good
We like to go here
If u are a Chinese food lover this place is the one u must visit.. a very good variety of mouthwatering delicious food on the menu..
overall experience was good
Value for money
A little bit of late service
Ambience good
Food i loved it
Its a good restaurant. The starters are awesome especially the chicken starters which are mouth licking. Awesome for non vegetarians.@kuna @nikhil @idrees
A well arranged sitting arena and a non Arabian resto among cluster of Arabian restaurants.
Very well gustatory sensation for starters&Soup , must try 'thread chicken' , spring rolls and kababs.
Main course is not so good specially curry's and roti is below average.
This place is surely a treat for all the food lovers. Its a multicusine restro with a good taste and which will surely satisfy your taste buds. I persnally recommend ppl to try out thread chicken, tandoori chicken, haryali chicken, achari chicken, majestic chicken, spring rolls, fried rice and specially the fruit dessert. This restro is quite affortable with good taste. One should really visit it. Definetly looking forward to try more dishes of MAK's😃😃😃
Come to this place for lunch and we decided to head to Tolichowki food Court.
We decided to have lunch at Maks kitchen.
We ordered for :
Punjabi Chicken
Naan
Maks Fried Rice
Fruit Salad
The Ambience is OK, service is OK.
Food is just OK
We were looking for a place to eat while coming from Tolichowk and had read reviews about this place called Maks Kitchen, we ordered both veg and non veg. i would say that the food was hygiene.
Nice place. But yes its Overpriced:
Food is great and beautiful, but it's definitely an expensive place. Worth one visit if you are ready to pay ₹1200 for 2 for the starters, main course and deserts.
Waiters are polite and service is high-quality, feeling, like we are in the secret buffet for Communist Party leaders coz all the walls were decorated with the frames of Ancient guns and rifles :) but yes, it's nice.
Service:4.5 / 5
Food : 4 /5
Ambience : 4 / 5
I can suggest some good items which you gonna like mostly: harabhara chicken, thread chicken & in deserts both the fruit salad and kheer are delicious.
Thanks i hope you guys read it completely 😝
The place has a slightly packed seating. I liked their Biryani and specially kebabs. The place is plentiful with their spices. The ambience is okay. Staff were courteous and service was good
I have frequented Mak's kitchen quite a few times and have found them quite consistently good in terms of quality, taste and quantity.
The quantity is quite generous, a dish is easily sufficient for two people. The ingredients are also very generously added. For instance there egg fried rice has very good quantity of egg and vegetables.
I have dined here with family once and have taken parcel atleast 15+ times. The service was great when I dined in the hotel and the response time at parcel counter is reasonably quick.
Some of the items i have had frequently and can recommend are as follows.
1) Chicken chilli garlic noodles
2) egg/veg fried rice
3) zeera rice
4) veg manchurian gravy
5) dal fry
6) soup was also good.. i dont remember the exact soup i had though
Overall, a good place for indian chinese food.
Been here yesterday with my friends to try out their desserts , not at all disappointed. Being a little expensive this place is worth the money you spend. Their double ka meetha and tin cream fruit were really delicious.

Had desserts here the other night. If u ever visit Yusuf Tekri Food Court and you got big pockets with funds to spare, you could try it out. (Desserts in the enterance of the resturant)

If the Yousuf Tekdi food court is a world, Mak's kitchen is its China. Its a pretty decent restaurant that serves some authentic chinese food. The ambience is neat and bright, but a little congested because of the little place they got. The service is perfect.
Pepper chicken is a boneless chicken preparation with long pieces of chicken cooked in typical chinese sauces and a lot of pepper. It tasted really great. The chicken soft noodles are just perfect, cant complain.
There is an entire indian menu as well but i never tried them. You are at Tolichowki afterall.
Overall its a pretty good place if you're craving for chinese.
One of the finest place in the surrounding area had tried their chicken fried noodles and chicken majestic . Both of them were perfect in fact superb . Don't miss this .
Good restaurant with pleasant ambience and good staff. Food quality is maintained and taste is also good. I tried dum ka mutton which I liked and needs to try other items as well.
Location:In the food court which have 4 seasons, mandar etc,at yousuf tekri.
Mak's kitchen heard a lot about there phattar ka gousht and chapli kebabs but to my surprise when I ordered it the staff said that they serve it only at dinner and I went there to have lunch. So I have been really disappointed with there philosophy of not serving it at lunch.First as we arrived and seated on a table and later we found out that there are lot of mosquitos there so we changed our table as there is no one in the restaurant except us.The staff also dissappoints me.We orders tandoori chicken, appolo fish, mutton khandhari, butter naan and after that we order for tandoori naan as butter naan was not well cooked. The dishes was normal it does not tastes any special to the taste buds.Overall:Dont go to have lunch try other restaurants as there are lot other available nearby.
THIS PLACE!!!
The food is extraordinary. If you crave for indian, look nowhere. The best butter naans, pathar ka goshts, fish masalas etc. everything is just perfect.
Must try- pathar ka gosht.
Good place, enough dining space. The food is nice but the service is not impressive. A nice family restaurant. It's comfortable. The Biryani is good.
Have been a regular at this place for more than a year now. The taste is consistent every time I have been there. Try out the rolls and chicken manchurian. For spicy ones, try out the chicken/fish hara masala.
Been here couple of times. Located at tolichowki's restaurant hub...
I ordered a veg Chinese chopsey. It was good. Last time I ordered hyderabadi chicken and it was delicious.
As it was closing time, we couldn't order much. Hope next time we try some more dishes.
Chinese served here is much better than Ohris. I liked taste of chicken fried rice as well as its quantity. It's America Chopshey is more on a sweeter side compared to other place but then again it's much better in quality than other... dry chicken chili rocks.... If you are in Towlichoki then give this place a shot
Loved its service as well as the food.
Perfect restaurant for chinese or mughalai.try the Hara masala chicken with a butter nan one among the specials.?
Completely worth it. The menu has variety to begin with and the service is pretty quick. The food is to my taste i.e., spicy but not extreme. Been there two times and it hasn't disappointed. The variety is for all to see. The pricing is very reasonable too.
Mak's kitchen. Can't claim to write a full review as i went in just to have the rolls. And can say confidently that the rolls won't disappoint.
Food:
Golden crisp and fried to the perfect temperature, with wafer thin crust and the perfect amalgam of chicken and boiled vegetables, the Chicken Spring Rolls (see pic) are indeed good and would definitely score a 4.5/5.
Service:
Love the service. Though the rolls did take its time, the waiters were indeed prompt and at our beck-and-call throughout.
Ambience:
The place has some nice old antique guns put up on display but that's as far as the good points of the place go. The shop is practically out-dated, small and cramped, and practicaally devoid of a decent wash basin and restroom.
Food: 4/5
Service: 4/5
Ambience: 2/5
VFM: Average. Slightly above average. Would suggest only for quick snacks.

If mutton is your thing then you need to try
Pathar ka Ghost & Chaapli Kebab which are amazing and for which they are quite famous . Succulent meat which is tender and tasty. Available during Dinner time only
All my visits to this place since its opening has been to try their kebabs as I can't seem to resist them. Khandhari Kebab and Chicken kali mirch kebabs is what I would recommend as I have ordered it repeated times and never got disappointed.
Fish platter & Tandoori platter is something me and my friends have ordered when we have 4-5 ppl group and want to try many things. Quantity is good and well worth the price.

Mak's Kitchen is a no nonsense place where good food has been served for many years now. Its a landmark of sorts in the Yousuf Tekri area in Tolichowki.
The food ordered from the menu was Veg Spring Roll, Butter Naan and Paneer butter masala. The Veg spring roll was not at all oily and amazingly prepared. In the recent past, I've always had to deal with really oily Veg Spring rolls. This time I was not dissapointed.
What also did not disappoint the Paneer Butter Masala. Overall for the price to the quality of food, it was well spent.
Service: I personally felt they could have done a better job. Maybe it was just me or the time we went there.
Ambience/Decor: Its a small setup. Not too much of a elbow room when you consider other restaurants but I would not complain. The layout has been done well. What also deserves a mention are the antique guns which are framed on the various walls in the restaurant.
Overall, a satisfying experience.
My final ratings as follows:
Food: 3.5/5
Price: 3.5/5
Service: 3/5
Ambience: 3/5

"Maks kitchen", Towlichowki, Hyderabad is One of the best caterers I've ever come across. Right from the lovely starters of fresh veggies and fish fingers to the authentic Aachari Gosht and Classic BBQs ....they've come a long way in winning many peoples heart. They specialise in Catering services for all kinds of events with continental, Arabian,Mediterranean, labanese, moghul food styles and elements on your palate....for me MAKS KITCHEN Rocks!!!
After 4-5 years I visited maks kitchen tolichowki.. Chicken manchurian soup was awesome and biryani was ok. The thick gravy served with biryani was yummy..
Just your regular "multi-cuisine" restaurant. Serves Indo-Chinese, Hyderabadi, and North Indian food. The decor and ambiance is pretty decent, and the portions are very large for the price. In terms of taste, nothing will blow you away, but you won't find much to complain about either. Most of the dishes are between above average to good. Service is mediocre, and you'll have to holler for the waiter whenever you want something.
I randomly went there without knowing or expecting anything from this place but was quite surprised with the taste. One of the most tasty food I had was at maks kitchen. Now one of my fav places
I've been taking out at Maks Kitchen regularly for over 5 years now. That's a few hundred visits for me (and I'm still going back). They have a full menu that you can order from, but I usually restrict myself to only few items.
First off, I'm not an expert on Chinese food. I'm an expert in what I think tastes good to me and this food was really good.
Maks is one of my favorite places in tolichowki. The food is excellent. The menu is not huge, but you can bet that whatever you order will taste great. In particular, the Chikcken platter is the absolute best!
I had two dishes and both were tasty. The noodles was perfect and the chicken platter was appropriately flavored. The portions are HUGE.
Tip: If you call in an order, be sure to arrive promptly.
In the end, it is probably the place I go to take-out more often. I can't speak of the service or the ambiance, but the food is excellent for casual fare.
A good place for ppl who reside in the vicinity of Tolichowki to try out Chinese cuisine.....
My order had
Entrée: Prawns dry-

Main course: Chicken Hot Garlic-

An awesome place for entrées
The food is awesome here ! Chinese is their speciality ! Food to die for !
Nobody can prepare the followings items like Mak's Kitchen:
Mixed Fried Rice, Manchow Soup, Apollo fish, loose Prawns & Chicken Manchuria. Indeed delicious :)
The restaurant is good.... One corner of the restaurant is not clean... Place ambience is fine... A must try is mutton biryani... The pieces are cooked pretty well.. One of the authentic biryanis we can have. Parking space is available for bikes and cars. Service should be improved.
One of the best zafrani biriyani I have ever tasted in Hyderabad. Both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian gravy items were very good.
It is one of the rare find restaurants which actually serves good food. The interiors are also well done. Hyderabadi cuisine as well as chinese are being offered here. Mutton kandhari, zafrani biryani and seafood platter are my top picks. We went for dinner and it was already packed. The service was quick and staff was helpful. Mostly there were families. Do not take the stairs at any cost !
Mutton biryani ỉn restaurant is usually not good but this one is top notch but really disappointed with sweet apricot delight, dumm ka chicken was fine not that good, you can enjoy family visit for sure, high chair for kids is available.

In a very long time I absolutely loved everything about a place the food, ambience, service everything...
We ordered both veg and non-veg and starters were lip-smacking, we recalled all the other places we have been to and compared the taste, this one was heavenly except for the Biryani 🤷🏻♀️
Why are Biryanis in Hyderabad so overrated I don't understand, anyways my friend wanted to try so we ordered and fine it wasn't that amazing 👎🏻
My friend kept on complaining about the sofa was dusty but that's negligible we visit road side dhabas they ain't so cozy too🤗
The person serving us was dead smart and polite, my friend asked his name but couldn't understand 🤦🏻♀️ but a well mannered bearded guy was at awesome service.. I removed a star for biryani and gave it away for the guy😉
Do visit this place it's finger licking delicious 👌🏻🤤
Absolute gem of Hyderabad my mouth just had tongue twisters this is original Hyderabadi wedding biryani damn good and must try and royal dining 💯
We visited Macs kitchen several times and also had invited friends and families quite a few times. The owner was really helpful in selecting the menu and delivered the best food. One of their best delicacies in Mutton dum biryani is boneless!
Been here for the second time this place serves good chinese cuisine, a huge variety of dishes.. Overall I give it a 4*
Great food. Especially the thread chicken was yummy. Biryani though good, but Zafran taste was dominating. Parking was available when I visited. Ambiance is very good. Service was awesome 💯
the delicious food coupled with the aesthetically pleasing ambience and on point service, makes this place outstanding. a nice pick for throwing a party as well.
