My order was Pomfret (Tandoor), Butter garlic prawns, Hakka shrimp noodles, Chili fish in basil sauce..all items were 10/10, the bestest part was no pungency in any of them.
Noodles had generous amount of shrimps, you could feel them in every single bite & fresh veggies ..
Pomfret or any of the other exotic items are weighed and served, making it super expense but I thought it was worth it, it was served on a sizzling pan, the server made it boneless and kids enjoyed it thoroughly. A special mention on the sides, the marinated onion opened up my taste buds i will remember that taste forever
Prawns were served well with veggies that looked and tasted fresh.
I am sure of coming over to this place whenever I have sea food craving & explore more in the menu.

The food was excellent. We ordered tandoori grilled bhetki fish and ghee roast jumbo prawns for the starters. In the main course we customized red snapper fish in a coconut gravy accompanied by steam rice. For the dessert we had caramel pudding. Each of the dish was awesome in taste. Probir was very helpful in suggestions. I would definitely visit again.

We visited this place twice in 15 days. Once towards the end of July 20 and then on 9th Aug.
During our first visit we ordered tom kha soup, crab salad and steamed fish in banana leaf. All 3 items were really good and deserved 5 stars for the taste and presentation
On our second visit, we decided to try other items and ordered lemon coriander chicken soup which was not upto the mark. It was just plain boiled vegetables with chicken and almost transparent hot water. There was no lemon grass which was strange for the type of soup we ordered. It had very little lemon flavour. The chef gave us a replacement and the replaced soup had strong lemon flavour but again lemon grass was missing.
Second item was chala vepudu which was like tawa fish. It was too oily for our liking and looked more of deep or shallow fried fish with besan and tamarind coating. Fish was succulent and fresh
Our recommendation would be to stick to chinese cuisine at this place. They have fresh fish and probably the second best option if you dont want to travel far off to fisherman's wharf. Good and quick service were the highlights. They take the last order at 10.30pm which is a great help during these times when all others shut at 9!

Hey sea food lovers , if you are in Hyderabad don't forget to visit the oceans basket restaurant. the food is amazing with variety of sea food choices . Try the platter which serves. Two types of fish with osyter sauce , a lobster and prawns . The staff was very generous and especially satyajith encouraged us to try different foods which we didn't get disappointed later. So all in all if you love sea food ....come here with your friends and family.

A novel concept of serving sea food, this makes the place interesting. Also, the variety gives you many options to choose from. The staff is very courteous and they are willing to hear and understand what is your requirement as the food is heavily customized as per your likes and taste.
My take or feedback would be to know more about your local customer, understand their cuisine and work on some fusion which would help you reach out to more distinct clientele.

As I was searching for restaurants to visit for my birthday, I read about this place a lot and wanted to give it a try. It's a tiny little place which gives you a sailing like experience with the decor and ambience.
We ordered chili basil prawns for starters. Firstly the presentation was top notch as the plating was just beautiful. It was very flavorful with a culmination of sauces flowing through every bite. I think this is one of the best prawns I have had so far.
This is one of the few places which offer you to have your own signature dish right in front of your eyes with the open kitchen concept. You can choose your desired fish and have it cooked based on several options like deep fried, steam cooked etc. We went for the red snapper cooked in charcoal grilled style. It took about 25 mins to be served but every minute was worth the wait. It was served on a sizzler plate with the fish cooked to absolute perfection with all the spices reaching every single part.

Trust me there are plenty of good reasons to dine here. This is the very place to satisfy your sea food cravings. My all time favorite savoury dishes are Schezwan pomfret and butter garlic prawns. Coming to beverage, I always go for honeydew or masala mojito.
If you are at Ocean's basket, definitely don't forget the Phuket Fish 🐠. Oh la la... The potion and the taste, both were amazing. Another star was the Seafood manchow soup. It was yum with healthy well steamed seafood meat. We had also ordered the Ghee roasted shrimp, but I did not like it that much as the shrimps were little hard but the Ghee and it's masala were yummy with Naan.
Also, the service was good and fast. But, there was smells from the restaurant.

Great place for seafood lovers in Hyderabad. I was invited here and just gobbled on every single item that was ordered. Loved the shrimp curry that we ordered it twice.
Fish was also mixed well with spices and too bad lobsters were finished.
Was offered welcome drinks as well.
Can’t forget the dessert. I believe it was something paan. Well worth it.
Went to this place last night with 4 friends, food was very good. Served fresh and hot, taste was very delicious. However they need work on the ambience a bit.
We ordered crab meat soup, ceasar salad, tiger prawns, grilled fish and fried rice. All items were really good and made fresh to serve.

Becoz it was noon time…. There were no much people and I was not getting anything which I wanted from menu, chef personally came out and suggested some food courses which was out of menu….. as the kitchen is in front of you he prepared it in front of us and it was awesome ….made my day ….
Me & my wife visited this place on Sunday afternoon 1 o clock. There was not much of a crowd at this time and we had a peaceful quality time. The place is very small but we liked the overall ambience and silence.
We were served with two little tubes of welcome drink which we felt good.
Coming to food, we have to select any seafood from the live counter and ask the chef to cook based on your own choice ( Grill, South Indian, Chinese etc)
We had charcoal grilled Red Snapper and Tiger Prawns. Both were very good but we liked Tiger Prawns more.
While the above dishes were cooking we thought to go for a Mixed sea hot & sour soup and it also turned out to be good. ( P.S - We never had a sea food soup so literally were in doubt to order or not)
Overall cost was around 3K for 2 members which is on higher side but it was a great experience.
The waiters were helpful with the orders, serving and payment too.
I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves sea food and wants to try varieties.
Tried ghee roast prawns, fish and chips - both were good. Mix butter garlic Noodles was very good. Quantity was adequate. Ambience is unique, overall taste of the food is very good and service is friendly and fast. Only sea food options are available, no chicken and mutton dishes are served.

It was a very good experience. They have a wide spread menu along with the selection of variety of catches that will be cooked per your liking. Very tasty and super worthy although a bit high on pricing, would definitely recommend. Parking is a problem which they need to improve.
I personally stepped out with a happy and full stomach ;>. Tried their mixed fried rice. The food was delicious and stomach filling. Take the suggestions of the staff. The staff was very good with us. Reasonable prices. I would say best place so far for seafood in hyderabad. The place was very unique and different(the interiors).

The place is on the 3rd floor & inside the restaurant is not big but okay and has open kitchen visible via glass. The crowd is pretty less during the weekdays and parking space isn't available at the restaurant and need to be parked on the road. The service and food really wasawesome and fresh enough. We liked Red Snapper, Prawns and mixed fried rice. This place definitely is underrated and we won't get disappointed if you ate looking specifically for sea food.
Ocean's Basket Seafood food restaurant is located on the 3rd floor of the busy area. We can search the parking near the side pocket road. Select the fish from the live counter and make your own recipe of your choice. We can see the cooking in an open kitchen. Ambience of the restaurant is enjoyable. Staff's are friendly.
It's a heavenly place for sea food lovers. You get to choose from a wide range of options and they cook in a customized way. You get to choose cooking style and level of spiciness. It's expensive, no doubt in it, and per head would cost 600 if you are trying live fish and other foods. They also serve delicious desserts and beverages.
