Great food! Ordered fish fry, daal, aalu bhaja, Bhetki machher kalia. Authentic mouth watering Bengali cuisine. Staff is courteous and polite. Only disadvantage: location.
Awesome experience. The buffet was extremely good. The food, the ambience, the behaviour of the staffs were the best. I would definitely recommend to go for the weekend buffet lunch as it is very pocket friendly and the food is something which is not to be missed!
Bijoli grill is nostalgic to us...Our whole family likes this place...We visit this place this month..Really they continue the magic,,,it's located in madhopur...Must try the signature dishes like fish Orly, kobiraji and fish fry......Staff are very polite and friendly...
We went there to have ilish mach in this ilish season. We had fish roll and chicken kabiraji in starter and ilish mach bhaat in mains. Fish roll was the best of all and really one awesome dish. ilish mach was good in quality however the bhapa ilish gravy needed more flavours. Staffs were very helpful and hospitable. It was good having lunch there.

I ordered the chicken thali it was amazing for a moment I thought I am eating at home. But only one think I would like to say that the thali was amazing but the rice quantity was less they should increase the quantity
Loved the kosha mangsho to the extreme. Very spicy and very yumm. We tried Sunday buffet. The menu was lavish. They had a good weekend spread starting with veg chop fish kobiraji dimer devil fresh limewater juice then luchi alur dom plain rice with chingri r malaikari moong daal Rui macher kalia followed by bengal polao and kosha mangsho. In dessert, malpua was awesome. Chutney and fish kalia was not upto our expectations. Rest everything was truly delicious. 2 suggestions, one, please add furfure alubhaja after serving daal. Second, please keep the papad covered while you are not serving to anyone.
Ordered food couple of times. I am no expert at Bengali cuisine but I love the food from this place and their Rosogolla....goodness!!!!
All the lovers of Hyderabadi Biryani
like me, try a different Biryani flavour from Bijoli and you would love it.
We visited bijoli grill yesterday for lunch buffet, we really satisfied with their menu and service. Staffs are very polite, ambience was really nice.
We will visit next week again..I recommend this place for their food and service.
Hi thes is Sombabu P Bijoli Grill we went to bijoli grill in Madahapur it's a nice place and food was nic cool ambiance serives to gud tnq guys keep it up
Loved the food, ambience is decent. It's the authentic bengali taste. Place is visible from the main road .There's parking facility too. Definitely a must try.
This place is a 5 star - out and out. The service is exceptional, all the staff is very courteous.
The food is exemplary. Being a Bengali who's spent most of my life outside of Kolkata, I don't get to eat Bengali cuisine often. But Bijoli Grill reminds me each time what I've been missing all this while.
The kosha mangsho (thick mutton curry) is amazing. The chingri Malai curry (prawns in cocunut based gravy) is probably the best I've eaten. The basanti pulao is the perfect blend of sweet and spice.
Must visit for all food lovers out there to get a real taste of Kolkata!
Staying away from Kolkata, my staunch Bengali taste buds crave for authentic bengali food more than often. When I learnt about Bijoli Grill opening outlet, first thing came into my mind was soft buttery hot fish orly!!! Now my husband not being a Calcuttan, has not heard about the heritage named Bijoli Grill. But for me, starting from experiencing their food in a small kisok in Alipur Zoo to their new outlets in Kolkata, Bijoli Grill had always been synonymous with good food in a moderate price range.
Once returning home from some work on a hot sunny Sunday, it got quite late for lunch at home and what could have been better then a Bengali affair.
Being late afternoon, most of the tables were empty when we reached the place. The place has a minimial decor with photos of everything Bengali.
We almost had our menu decided beforehand as per my suggestion. First disappointment was unavailability of Gondhoraj ghol :( :( , followed by Aam Porar Sarbat (ouch). So we quenched our thrust with Aam Panna which was just ordinary and Kiwi Mocktail which was sugary sweet.
Next came their signature dish Fish Orly- it not only pacified my disappointment of not getting Gondhoraj ghol, but completely stole away our hungry soul. Soft buttery flaky betki fish fillets coated with a crust with just the right amount of crunch. I could have finished off 2/3 plates together but it does not look good so resisted myself somehow :P
We took mutton biriyani and chicken duckbunglow for main course. Chicken Rezala please wait for my solo trip to Bijoli Grilll as none of my felllows like to savour your sweet taste :( Lightweight, long grain, slightly aromatic rice along with mutton, aloo and egg (read heaven). Chicken was okayish, nothing great..
We were full to our brim after such a delicious lunch and it was accompanied with a 3 hours of afternoon siesta ;) ;)
PS. Being an environmental professional, I could not help but giving this remark. There was no water and tissue in washroom. No hand washing soap in wash basin. Please please rectify it. This can prove to be a big big turn off for quite a few people.
We were too tired to click any picture!!!!
The food is very good... Gravy is really authentic.. not like other restaurants... Paneer Reshmi Masala and Luchi Alu dam was sumptuous.... 👌🏻
We were in bijoli grill last sunday for lunch,. As simply I fall in love with their food ,

My dad requested to play some good bengali music and they played rabindra sangeet which was mind blowing,. We really enjoy the lunch....Thank u and all the best .

They have so many options also,
Now they have introduced thali as per everyone's budget.
The very first thing I want to say that thank you Bijoli Grill for bringing the taste of Calcutta, we people who are so far from our home.bijoli feels us like home. Very good service, staffs are very friendly... And don't ask me about the food taste... Because I don't have any words to say.
Keep it up the good work. Love you
Very pleasant and quite restaurant, good , tasty and authentic food, steward was very polite, patori mach was nicely done, kosa murgi with parantha was awesome, sarsobata fish with was perfect to fish our our meal,.. they made our day..... Will come back with friends
Went for a family lunch with Mom, Dad, Son, Wife & Me. It was a wonderful experience. Authentic Bengali food with a gastronomical delight. Enjoyed every bite of the food. The weekend buffet serves a load of delight (chingri macher maialkari, pona kalia, kosha mangsho, mishti pulao, luchi...the list goes on). I have been in Hyderabad for more than 15 years but never have tasted such delicious Rasogolla. And also to mention about the staff, very courteous. Would love to visit again. Keep it up Bijoli Grill and Team.
The weekend buffet was awesome and covers a wide range of bengali delicacies. The staff is helpful and friendly. The bengali background music takes u back to ur home. Nice ambience, nice people and nice food. A mutton kosha was fingerlicking good. A must visit
We ordered thali which consists of white rice, yellow pulao, moong dal, begun vaja, alu posto, bhetki paturi, mutton kosha, chatni, papad, rosogollar payes...price -525.everything was served in copper dishes.taste was undoubtedly awesome.quantity is also good.and as an add-on the staff behaviour is very polite.bhetki paturi is a must try...

I went here on my birthday to have authentic bengali meal.I have ordered dhokar dalna, bhetki machher kalia and basanti pulao.Bijoli Grill is very popular back in Kolkata. The taste and quality of the food is very good.Thank you Bijoli Grill for coming in Hyderabad and giving us a slice of Kolkata.
the dish would have tasted better if the pointed gourd had been peeled slightly.
This is one of the restaurants I frequented almost every weekend while in Hyderabad for the authentic Bengali cuisine.
The service is terrific, the staff are extremely polite and courteous , the food is just beyond amazing and the ambience is quite decent.
I love almost all of their dishes ranging from ghondoraj lebu diye bhetki bhapa , fish fry, fish finger to daab chingri, katla machh phulkopi jhol , machh er kaliya, to basanti pulao , mutton kasha and much more.
If you are looking for authentic Bengali cuisine then this is the right place to be.

Great food. Service good be a bit faster but if u like to chat and gossip then it shouldn't be a problem. The fish orly specifically amazing.
I went to Bijoli Grill for a Sunday lunch with my brother. When I entered the place at around 1 PM, it was pretty empty, but slowly people started coming in. Decent, clean and comfortable interior, good Bengali music at the background complimented its good service. We ordered wholesome lunch platters with traditional chicken and mutton kosha. We also ordered “Chital Machh er Jhol” , which we felt was a little overpriced but nice in taste. Overall food was tasty and nearly authentic. Aam Panna as refresher and Malpua as desert were also good. Perfect place for Bengali food!
Lovely place , good hospitality food taste also nice . Washroom not clean as per the standard . They serve us in odd times which we like a most. They treat us very good and gave us delicious food
One of the best places in Hyderabad for Bengali food lovers.. I went there on Poila Boisakh (Bengali New Year).. It was a huge rush as expected but still their food quality was very good... they have a buffet for Rs 750 where you will get fish, prawns, mutton, chicken etc... Ambience is good and the prices are reasonable keeping in mind the prices of Bengali food in Hyderabad...
Bijoli grill !first things out of the way - zero parking - difficult to find - very basic ambience - puris masquerading as lucchis !need to work getting Bengali sweet meats ! Can’t serve double ka meetha !!!
Now the main part - Absolutely delightful food with good portions and so Calcutta pricing ! Had a great meal with friends with the most unbelievably low priced bill - definitely deserves a visit again
Being a Bengali, Poila Boishakh lunch had to be grand!
They had a set buffet menu. The place was full, and there was a huge que, and we luckily managed a seat for ourselves.
It was a vast menu consisting of good old popular Bengali dishes.
Starters consisted of 2 veg items and 2 non veg items. Main course consisted of 3 veg and 4 non-veg items accompanied with rice, Bengali pulao and koraishutir kochuri.
Among the starters, the cheese spinach roll was quite good.
The malai paneer, enchor kofta and mutton kosha really stood out for me among the main course. And, the koraishutir kochuru was also a delight.
Desert consisted of my favourite Aamer chatni and papor, rasgulla, pantua, ice-cream and paan.
And, good rasgulla in Hyderabad always makes me happy.
Ended the meal, with the mishti paan.
The restaurant was facing a little issue with the inventory, as this was the first Poila Boishakh, when they opened to the crowd. Keeping that in mind, it was very decent.
Every dish tasted very homely and reminded me of Kolkata. And, I was especially impressed by the service.
The waiters were very jolly and were serving with a smile. That earned them brownie points.
I would definitely be visiting the restaurant again, whenever I miss Kolkata.
The lunch made for the perfect beginning to a New Year.
well went for a corporate lunch with my team as my boss was Bengali he was insisting for Bengali food and after a quick search we came across this place, though the rating was less we still opted for it.
Being a vegetarian you are always in doubt about what the spread would be and so my review would be confined only for the vegetarian dishes served.
We ordered Veg thali and this was the best thali I had after ages.
The spread had 1 veg starter which was a big cutlet like thing made of aloo and was very delicious to start with.
The curries served we're typical Bengali aloo which was superb in taste and paneer which was too good to be true. We chose luchi poori which were soft and delicious.
This was followed by rice and dal which were good however to mention that daal is cooked in mustard oild and so is the rest of food so people allergic to it please make a note of it.
In the end for dessert we had shahi tukda which was good.
all in all I never thought veg bengali food existed and that too Soo wonderful in taste.
Full marks for their food but the service is slow and the washrooms didn't have water so don't expect top notch ambience.
A must place to try out Bengali cuisine.
while the ambience is decent, the support is very helpful and friendly. Their recommendations were spot on across starters, main course and dessert.
one can get addicted to the fish fry with the right amount of all ingredients.
we had the fish fry, dimer devil (another must, the best dimer devil I have ever had), daab chingri, kosha mangsho, rabdi malpua.
The chicken was not properly cooked and a bit hard. The rice felt a little less cooked too.. but other than that it was great.
taste is really good. but got just one fish in pabda jhal instead of two.
very nice food specially fish
Nice, could be less costly though
Experience was decent overall as we visited here on the eve of Diwali. Ambiance is good, specious area to dine in which is decently decorated. It's situated just on the 100ft road in Madhapur, Hyderabad so easily identifiable and accessible, it's in the first floor of the building. Food items are limited in variety, but from taste perspective those are good and quantity is sufficient but could have been better. It's of pure Bengali cuisine so one shouldn't expect to have Moghlai of Chinese varieties here. They do accept PayTm, PhonePe, Credit/Debit card and Dineout payments.
The ambience of the restaurant was good and quite near to the Ysr statue here is the review of buffet I had
Starters:- 1 soup, chicken BBQ pieces, fried potatoes,1 lassi
Main course:-1 chicken,1 fish, and chicken biryani, rice, brinjal curry and some other pickles
Desserts:- Samia,sweet like rasagolla,ice cream
Got this through dineout at Rs.187 and was worth more than that.
Good food. Good Ambience. Excellent service and suggestions. A bit overpriced.
This Bengali restaurant was great craze and status symbol for Kolkatans back in the eighties. They have ventured out of Bengal a little late than the others. However went to have a quick bite for their signature dish the Fish fry. We were not disappointed at all. Awesome. The chicken dish boneless was very good too. The overall hygiene has to be looked into with flies around the dinning area. All ready shared some photos of the place while dinning.
Excellent Authentic & Ethnic Bengali Restaurant
Yesterday evening, I Took my wife (who is a Bengali) to Bijoli Grill.
She was extremely happy just looking at the menu & she ordered all she can savor, we had a good time
& I got 1st taste of Bengali Food too
good ambiance & very friendly staff
I recommend if you are dying for Bengali Food in Hyderabad. Go & stomach all you can for the evening. *****
Had a great experience dining at Bijoli grill tonight. Food taste and quality was terrific and the staff was very friendly and courteous. Highly recommended for Bengali food lovers.
This place in Hyderabad is a mecca for bengali food lovers. We took the Sunday Buffet and evry item on the menu was absolutely delicious.. the choice of menu in the Buffet was very thoughtful from Fish Orley to Chicken Cutlet in starters and the Biryani and Mutton Kosha in the main course. We finished off the meal with great Malpuas for desert. I am from Bangalore and I hope they open there soon.
Authentic bengali food, had fish fry, Chicken Rezalla, Chicken Dakbanglow, bengali pulav, luchi & begun bhaja. Rates are bit on a higher side, but sure it will not disappoint you taste wise.
Love bangali food this is the place in Hyderabad
Its an aristocratic bengali kitchen in Hyderabad. The authentic bengali dishes brings alive "bengali bhuribhoj" here. The serene ambience and delicious dishes makes it a remarkable restaurant to be. Seasonal special dishes like different varieties of pithe also served.
We had the Sunday buffet and it was very reasonably priced. Main course included fish, prawn, chicken and mutton. People were courteous and welcoming.
Loved the food, ambience is decent. It's the authentic bengali taste. Place is visible from the main road .There's parking facility too. Definitely a must try.
Superb place for Bengali cusine, large spread and you can trust them with the quality of food. Have been here 3 times and was never dissapointed.
