Embrace the charm of a delightful venue offering authentic Andhra-style South Indian cuisine. The flavors, though not overly spicy, still tantalize the taste buds in the most satisfying way. For those seeking a milder experience, this is the perfect spot. where the exquisitely crafted pillars showcase the elegance of South Indian sculptural art, adding a touch of cultural splendor to your dining experience.
Ohhhmyyyygoodddd!!!!
I’m in love with this place.
We have booked two seats here before getting to this place using Zomato Dining option. And received 50% off on total bill just because I was Zomato Gold account holder.
Let’s start the review.
Food is on different level here, a memorable
Journey of dishes on the table. It was amazing and Ohris Uppu gave us unique experience of South Indian dishes.
We had dinner here and started our order with Soup-Kodi Shorba. 100/100.This shorba is must trying soup, you will thank me later. If you are suffering from cold or cough please try this and I’m sure you will feel better than before.
Next in starters we have ordered Vellulli Kodi Vepudu and Prawns. Both are at mouth watering and taste was superrrrbbbb!!!!5/5
Then in main course we have ordered Nellore Mamsam pulao. This was just a normal Pulao but the taste was 4/5.
Then closed the dinner session with Dessert Pala Junnu, but to be honest I was with my Andhra friend we had dinner here and by just tasting one half spoon of Junnu he confirmed that it is prepared of Normal milk not the original Junnu milk. Felt bit disappointed but in the end while
Leaving there is self pan preparing stuff. I prepared two Sweet pans for self and enjoyed it!!!!
Thank you so much UPPU for this great experience!!!🩵🩵🩵
Overall nice experience.
Authentic Andhra thali served only during lunch time.
Any way you can try any other dishes too.
Decent place to cherish authentic South Indian dishes (Andhra style). The menu is a little slim, but most of the items are available, except the Deserts. Food isn't spicy enough, which is good, but if you are looking for Royal Seema style spicy food then it is not the right place. The ambience is nicely illuminated. The big elephant face at the entrance is a wow factor for kids. The pillars inside the restaurant are well built to reflect the South Indian sculpture beauty. Staff were kind and quick in service. I felt the tables can be organised little away from the roof ACs as it feels very chill under it. There is a small banquet hall for small family/friends/official gatherings. Considering the taste and the quantity I felt the prices were fair for most of the items (except items like Junnu). The restaurant is on the first floor and the lift is available.
A Memorable Culinary Journey at Ohir's Uppu Restaurant.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ohirs Uppu Restaurant, and I must say, the experience was truly remarkable. The food was simply amazing, and it offered a unique and delightful blend of South Indian flavors.
To start off, the Murgh Kothmir soup was unlike anything I had ever tasted before. It perfectly set the tone for the rest of the meal, showcasing the authentic taste of South Indian cuisine. The flavors were robust, and the spices used added a wonderful depth to the soup.
Moving on to the starters, I highly recommend trying the Bheemavram Mamsam Vepudu. The tender and succulent meat was expertly cooked and seasoned to perfection. It was a true delight for the taste buds, leaving me craving for more.
When it came to the main course, the Nellore Mamsam Pulao stood out as a standout dish among the rice and biryanis. The fragrant rice combined with tender mutton pieces and aromatic spices created a symphony of flavors. It was a wholesome and satisfying dish that left a lasting impression.
Not only was the food exceptional, but the ambiance of the restaurant was also fantastic. The atmosphere was lively and vibrant, creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience. Whether you're looking for a casual meal or a special occasion, Ohirs Uppu Restaurant provides a perfect setting.
I must commend the excellent service provided by the staff, particularly our server Raja. He demonstrated extensive knowledge of the menu and offered helpful suggestions to enhance our dining experience. His attentive and friendly demeanor added an extra touch to the overall experience.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Ohirs Uppu Restaurant for anyone seeking authentic South Indian cuisine. The food is outstanding, with standout dishes like the Marag soup, Bheemavram Mamsam Vepudu, and Nellore Mamsam Pulao. The ambiance is inviting, and the service is top-notch. Don't hesitate to visit this restaurant if you want to indulge in a truly memorable dining experience.
Give it a try people. The buffet was amazing. They take no time to fill the dishes as soon as it finishes. Starters are mouthwatering. As a buffet lover i never enjoy the main course 😜 so no comments on it. Btw coming to desserts 🎂🍪 and icecream 🍨🍦 we can have plenty of choices.
It was pretty good. The ambience is great. Santosh was very patient with us. Would visit again
Really loved the taste and quality of food. Service is good and definitely recommend. Splice levels are met to the expectations, and finally they allow you to prepare pan on own, it tastes yummy 😉
Extremely popular place for ice-cream and food. They even have a late buffet. Ice creams are great. Recommended
Had a fabulous authentic Telugu meal. Enjoyed the Tandoori Korameenu Fish. This is a must try for everyone. The other dish which is worth the mention is the Golconda Chicken.
Great service Wasim Akram and his team.
Sagar, Sunil gave an excellent service! The food was incredible! I haven’t had traditional food like this in Hyderabad anywhere else.
Very nice ambience and food is really good. Loved the way how i got my Thali served with so many cuisines. Only missing part was a papad.
The best part is the fresh welcome drink of juice(ohh boy i loved it)
Service was very good. Sagar was very helpful and polite. Few others too, names I don't remember. Chef Venkatesh was very welcoming. Veg Thali Items were very good. The special dessert Suryakantam was outstanding. So was the double ka meetha. And Rasam, Vadiyalu.
A polite suggestion from international travellers like me - please reduce salt in all the items. Those who want more salt will add it themselves, and those who prefer low salt food would really enjoy it.
Secondly, a little bit of more lighting can make the ambience better. It's a bit too dark, in my opinion. These are minor suggestions.
Overall, Thank you for the wonderful experience today.
