This sweetshop is definitely a godsent one for people looking for a good sweet shop in the Balanagar-Bowenpally stretch. As with many sweet shops in the twin cities, this shop too has the famous surname, and it almost lives up to the big brother's tastes.
One of our favorites here is Puran Poli, which is really delicious with the right amount of ghee and the sweet stuffing! we also have tasted Bhoondi Laddu, and Kaju Katli, which are really tasty, What I like about the sweets here is the healthy amount of sugar/jaggery, ghee combination in each preparation!
This shop also serves lovely chaat items like pav bhajji, pani poori et al!

Its very good place and the quality of the sweets and savouries are very tasty and had been to this place many times. We had always been a very good fan of kalakand. They have Ajmeer kalakand, Dry fruit kalakand, Coconut kalakand etc. The samosas are very tasty and priced @ 15 each. Badam milk is very good and almost all the sweets we had purchased was very tasty and fresh. The place is very easily noticeable in the heavy traffic also. Apart from sweets they also have cakes and ice creams along with chaat items.
