Best Punjabi food with minimum price
This is one of the decent place where we can hop in when cook is not available or not in a mood to cook, can have decent food almost like home made food with a reasonable price.
Don't expect ambiece to be good yet a decent one to have food.
The food is really really amazing. You can have a complete Punjabi touch in hyderabad. This place serves authentic Punjabi food. Though the ambience is not that welcoming but its hospitality really makes you want to be there. Go have a bite at this place if you really want value for money punjabi food with an authentic twist. It is highly recommended to have their sweet lassi and it is advisable to not order the large lassi if your tummy is full after having all their scrumptious food.
Their rotis are really nice. Also tried the paneer masala from the place and it was really different. The chilli paneer wasn't that great but the North Indian items are good.
Sanjha chulha serves the most authentic punjabi for in hyderabad. A must visit for any northindian living in madhapur, reminds me of home...
chilly baby corn quantity was less. Chicken liver fry was good.
Very nice taste and lived it to the name punjabi food. Amazing guys keep up the work would surely recommend others.....spl nonveg thali eas awesome and totally worth the price.
Another good food delivery joint. Curb your taste buds hunger with food from here. Each dish tastes great. Home delivery service is nice clean and hygenic.
Cheers Rakshita Nath
Hands down the best Aloo parathas in Hyderabad. most places are more atta less aloo, Sanjha Chullha is perfect (lots of aloo). also have must try chicken parathas. Small comfy place, best eaten hot in the restaurant, they also make parathas without oil if you ask.
Its really a good place, its value for money, you also get a homely feeling, the rates are really pocket friendly. If you are looking for ambience then you might not like it but if you are foodie and if food matters more than ambience then you should visit this place.
Nice place if u r looking for some home made food.. service may be bit late ..just loved everything what we ordered..if u r looking for some North Indian stuff , must to go..
The parathas of sanjha chullha are one of my favourite parathas. Located near madhapur petrol pump easily accessible if you are in madhapur. It usually gets crowded during the dining times.
Located in the midst of the always busy HITEC City road, the place is a boon for people on budgets. The food tastes very close to ghar ka khaana, and the daily changing thali menu will make sure you visit more often. If you miss that ghar ka khana, this place is a must visit!
Ambience 3/5
VFM 5/5
Food 5/5
One of the best in town for Dhaba style food and this food join is an unique combination of reasonable pricing + amazing taste.
I personally recommend vegetarian food here
If you are in madhapur and have craving for awesome Punjabi food. This is the right place to be, be it paranthe, paneer thali etc all are good, in budget and good quality.
Prices are good, you can eat here daily.
I recommend this place for daily North, Punjabi meals which will activate your taste buds
Talking about Sanjha Chulha in simple words.... It just like being or the best word to describe it is....Sasta Sundar & Tickao....😘... Good to see cheap restaurant in Hyderabad who try to give u the pleasure of two star restaurant fooding... Do not go with the ambience though....
At times you like to go to an offbeat place.. not too jazzy and fancy... it is that sort of place when you want to eat home made food.... super pocket friendly. They dont overcharge you and den give a very goof quantity. Chicken curry is amazing with some home made chapatis. Nothing about ambience because its just a dhaba sort of ordinary seating bt one shud go to this place. What i guarentee is that people will return satisfied and happy..... aloo parantha with butter 👍👍👍👍👍
This place serves good north Indian food. If you're a paratha and lassi lover then you should definitely try this. Some items quality so poor but quantity is more than enough. Bottom line is this is a pocket-friendly place with some interesting items.
Good pocket friendly food... Good taste..
Alu parotha and chilly chiken dry is must try for all.
Typical dhaba like taste.. Serving boys are good...
Ambience wise hotal is very small but nice arrange.Music is there but not playing & food is really good nd filling homely food. Pricing is economical as well when compared to other restaurants in madhapur.

Over all experience 5/4
I recommend to my friends.
I have ordered chicken tikka masala, dal makhani and plain paratha. Taste was good.
I have been to this place multiple times and the quality of food is consistent and pocket friendly.
My favourites from the menu are paneer cheese paratha and egg tadka. This place serves one of the best parathas.
aloo cheeze paratha ...matar paratha ...yummmmmmmm......😜 food is literally very delicious here.............................................
This is one of the best economical food joints in Madhapur that serve North Indian items. Right from roti, parantha, veg and non-veg curries, thalis, everything provides the best value for the money we pay.
Butter is being served in copious amounts on the paranthas. Boondi raitha is one of the best.
Highly recommended.
Sanjha Chulha, because it's a very common Punjabi term.”Sanjha Chulha”, which was a communal earthen cook stove used by everyone. This is one of the good pocket-friendly restaurants in Madhapur. Generally, it is crowded because the food is cheap, delicious and small. We ordered 25 Pulkas and 2 lacha Parathas, Palak Panner, Panner Butter Masala, Punjabi Chicken. Other than what we ordered they gave onions and green chutney as complimentary. The pulkas very hot and soft it melts in your mouth, The paranthas are yummy. palak paneer was normal taste. Punjabi chicken was okay, it would have been good if the chicken was soft. Well coming to service, the waiters were very quick in bringing the food the table. Finally, we ordered for Lassi, they have large lassi and small lassi. We took small lassi it was so delicious and stomach filling. Overall our experience was good.
Food: 4/4
Ambience 3.5/5
Service: 4.5/5
cost: 5/5 (pocket-friendly)
Desi Khana - Full on menu, especially the variety of stuffed parathas you get here that too in reasonable prices. Its a small restaurant which is more of a mess kind of place where daily tiffins are available. Everyday a different Thali Menu is there. Daar ji on the counter is always very polite and humble. Staff is decent, the moment you grab a chair , they are ready with their menu to take your order. Very fast service even if the place is booming with crowd. Aloo paratha and Jaggery paratha(very rare to find anywhere else ) are, a must try. Actually lot more to try, but I will leave it on you to explore ;)
This place offers great food and also very prompt service. Most of the waiters and cooks here are Assamese people and me hailing from NE region just love the food here. Try their sweet lassi, punjabi chicken and the newly launched combos
The food has a very unique flavour to it

The place serves one of the best north indian cuisine at affordable rate in Hyderabad. It offers a great variety for both veg and non veg. The seating is somewhat normal, not much cozy but the taste of food covers it all. Choose this place if you are missing north indian food and homely parathas, do ask them for green chutney if they don't serve it to you beforehand. And end your meal with a lassi, thank me later.
I Chocolate Paratha was not up to the mark
Ordered egg curry first time. Unexpected as I expected.
This is your place if you are looking for economical options for a tasty meal. I went to this place for dinner and the place is like a small place with table like road side restraunt.
We ordered alu Kali mirch, veg kadai, laccha paratha, phulka and some beverages and all these at a price for 300 bucks for 2. Curries we're both good so was the breads. No complaints on food. The service is good too😀 I saw only 2 staff members taking care of the place.
Best place for after work meal 😉
taste could be better. the food was warm.. thanks!
Literally lip smacking authentic Punjabi dishes with garam garam phulka😋
Nonveg here is soooooo fresh to taste.....It is treat even for veg lovers..."swastat masta"😊 wanna try chole bhature here...
Ambience doesn't matter as all are busy licking there fingers.. Sssuurrrpppp....
Do all visit once....M damn sure u will visit here every week
Especially very tasty food for batchelors at very reasonable rate.
Please read full story patiently and Hope this review has a positive affect on this hotel. It's only about that fat Sardar ji who sits at the counter. His language and behavior is bad. Maybe he feels that he is feeding his customers for free. Today I had been to this Hotel and after payment this person starts arguing with me over Debit Card payment issue in my ATM. My payment was successful after 2 failed tries. The person who swipes the card always asks whether I want the Customer copy or no. I said yes because there is frequent double deduction since last couple of days. Sardarji misunderstood what I said and refused to listen till I left that place. He kept saying somethig even when I came out.
Thank god I was alone amd not with friends specially girl otherwise this guy had made up to keep the argument going for long and embarrass me well.
So, moral of the story is to please that Sardarji before he starts embarrassing you because you don't know when and why he will get angry.
I had been a frequent visitor to this hotel but I am not going there again as I have some respect for myself.
I feel happy I remained calm.
A hidden gem in the clutter of big name restaurants...loved their chicken marsala and parathas and if u work here it's the go to lunch destination
Honestly i did not expect the kind of quick service they provide! I mean U just order the stuff, blink ur eyes and ur food will be there👍🏻Do not order Butter chicken.! Go for simple food(dal makhani n pranthas) thats satisfactory✌🏻
If you daily eat outside, please have food here. Don't mind the ambiance but the food is awesome. This winter I give full marks to Makki roti and sarson da saag. Must have dish. Keep it up boys.
A small hotel in Madhapur area which can activate your taste buds.
Ambience wise Hotel is very small but nicely arranged.
was very much satisfied with roti and Palak Panner curry :)
must visit place as it is a pocket friend hotel with good taste
Nice small place to have good food fir reasonable price. Ordered aloo paratha, onion paratha, sarsoon da saag and chicken curry. As i was trying saag for the very first time i liked it. Parathas were good, but could have been better.
A small cozy comfy place where you can walk in with complete confidence of getting content when you craving for that simple homely food. There is no effort on decor or things like that, these people had their priorities straight. They wanted to serve people with great food and that what they do. The staff is prompt and sevice is quick and satisfying. No fancy cutlery or anything as mentioned earlier sinple stell plates to give that homely look. Tried makke ki roti and sarsoon ka saag here for this time and could believe the taste of it. The best part of the place is its really light on your pocket for the quality of food that is being put in front of you. A definite go to on you list.
If you wanted to eat some North Indian food Panjabi style you must go there. Enjoy many choices of parathas including veg & non veg thali.
#Good ambiance.
#Good service
It is good i mean for the price they are offering it is good to have. Every it is crowded and taste is good(not so great but considering the price it is good). Been here several time when you I get short on money.
This place is similar to a dine out in the backyard of your home, when it comes to the ambiance!
The food also is pretty much home made. No food colors, no added flavors. They keep it simple & tasty. Though the place is small, it is maintained tidy.
We have ordered onion paratha, which is perfectly made. The chinese starters were good.
The naans/ rotis were great, along with rajma, paneer butter masala, matar panner. The lassi on offer, tastes good, with the quantity more than enough for a person.
A pocket friendly place, to try out with friends/ family.
Sanjha Chullha #SanjhaChullha
Sanjha chullha is a small place located in Madhapur, this is more like a mess rather than restaurant, but a really nice place to silent hunger specially when we are running low on money and most probably lost week of the month LOL.
Have visited this place umpteen number of times and tried their veg and non veg both, Chicken bharta, chicken tikka masala, paneer makhanwaala and paneer kadai are some of our foto dish which we order from here. Taste wise they all are good.
In terms of taste all the dishes I had here are decent but the amount they charge for that quality and quantity makes this place complete value for money. They take orders via other food apps but better to visit this place and take away if you are nearby.
Got home delivery twice from here..Was not expecting too much owing to the prices, but was surprisingly good..Not too much but somewhat good given the price point... Had aloo paratha, which was great, with the perfect amount of filling.. Chicken bharta, was a little spicy for my taste buds but was good.. Panner kofta did not turn out so good as the koftas were not properly cooked and the inside felt gummy and gooey.. Even the curry was not so flavourful.. Dal makhani was good but cood have been more rich.. It was almost runny and not thick..
Rotis were soft and fresh.. Butter rotis went great with the food..
We are sure a few improvements and this place will be my next go to place for North indian food..
Good place to dine-in except that you can expect a delay in service in weekends. Rest it's a fabulous place to step-in. Wide varieties of Paratha and Punjabi lassi are my favorite. Pricing is economical as well when compared to other restaurants in madhapur.
Good pocket friendly small place for home like food. Parathas specially jagger parathas is a must try. They must work on improving the overall hygiene of the place. Overall a good experience.
Best place for food in and around Madhapur & Hitech city at lower prices. Home-like food and awesome service. We were five, ate fully and were expecting the bill around Rs.1000 as usual like we pay in other restaurants. It was just 505 and we're so happy with the food and the cost.
Best place for budget eaters!!
Nice place visit food is very good.we can get all Punjabi items here. But the restaurant is not that much species parata and chicken curry is very good and chicken parata is awesome.
There are not many places in Hyderabad which offers quality along with quantity. However this place offers both, items are reasonably cheap priced. Lots of vegeterian dishes to choose from.
4* only because i would like to see the cutlery set changed from stainless steel to glass or melamine..
This place provides best budget meal in madhapur. This is a Punjabi food outlet. Though this place is not aesthetically appealing, it is decent enough to have a nice lunch or dinner. Coming to the food, they serve wide range of Punjabi dishes. Food quality is good, and tastes great. You can have a decent meal under 150rs.
I have been here couple of times. Food is absolutely "home made" taste and of course delicious. I am from Hyderabad, so I do not know how authentic Punjabi food would be. But personally I love the taste here. All kinds of Rotis they make are soft and stays soft after losing temperature. Curry are reasonably priced and serves 2 easily.
The owner is a very pleasant person and respects his customers. I ordered food to take away and was waiting outside with my infant, when the order was ready, he walked out himself to give it to me and later also helped me to take my car out. Very impressed with his etiquettes.
I would definitely recommend this place for casual, quick, inexpensive and tasty North Indian food..
This is a great place that serves you awesome Punjabi Food at reasonable prices. It scores low on the ambience part, however it scores way high when it comes to the food. If you are a North Indian and specially a Punjabi and missing home cooked food this is the place to be - complete value for money.
The selection of Parathas are varied and the combination are good. Service was slow, even with fewer than 10 people it took half and hour for our order to arrive. Price was cheap for some items but too costly for some to justify. Overall would recommend it but with a pinch of patience!
The food is homelike and delicious. Also the staff is very polite and the owner himself comes and have small talks with you. The pricing makes it apt for youngsters who have money constraints but need good quality food. You will not get great ambience and seatings, just good quality food.
I love this place. A typical Punjabi place ever dedicated to giving quality food to the common man. The place though not located on the main street is pretty close to the main road with less than 5 feet into block. The place has food that is very low in price to varieties that you don't find elsewhere. It has a through following of people working in adjoining offices and regular visitors. The cuisine is authentic punjabi, with the exception of a few Biryanis and south Indian foods! You would not regret going to this place.
It's a nice little restaurant located in Madhapur. They serve delectable north Indian food and their parathas are one of the best in city. Most of the items we ordered were above average given the low pricing, it's best value for money joint in the area for north Indian food. The only drawback was that the rice was cold and small table meant congested eating. Overall good place and would be back there again.
This is not an upscale restaurant and please bear this in mind when going here - food is pretty good, with the parathas being awesome. There is practically nothing by way of ambience; just a place to have food, chat and spend some time with friends. Cleanliness - tolerable, but then again, this varies from person to person. I, personally, never use the glasses provided and always ask for packaged drinking water. Please do inspect the plates brought; they will replace if you ask them to. The staff are mostly young boys but behave courteously. Rates are reasonable and wouldn't burn a hole in the pocket.
Great North Indian variety here, loved the dishes. Mostly parathas for breakfast is must to try. Lots of sitting place. But you should hopp early. Might get rush in late evening. Popular in this area. If you want less spicy you can ask for it. Clean and hygienic food with authentic taste.
Delicious food and moderate pricing. Must Order : Lassi.
Very affordable priced parathas. Quick service. Needs to work on the ambience and cleanliness of the interiors, especially the washroom and wash basins.. One more thing, internet connections sucks there, you'll suffer making digital payment inside their premises.
Only if you are there to have aloo parathas with butter and Half fried eggs😍😍😍
Good homely food. Worth for money.
Nice place to eat and the food is also very good. Cards are allowed if the rate exceeds above 150. But the food is really tasty, prices are bit higher when compare to other restaurants. Malai kofta is one of the best.
A very good place in a busy road. You 'll enjoy the food. Parathas and chicken dishes are good.
pros- visited this place multiple times and every time I got my order within 10 mins.
Service is very good. Price is average.
Cons- not much.. you won't get much choice for drinks. Lassi and cold drinks only.
It's a value for money eating place coz of its below average ambience yet good quality food. Veg starters are better than non veg. However, main course food items are good in both categories.
