Was rooming in Banjara hills and suddenly met my school friend and we plan to hangout and it was already around 12 at night , then searched late night restaurant around Banjara and found this place. Reached there around 12:30 with my friend and his wife. Lift was little dangerous as it is very old and all the shops were closed but reached the place.
Open roof top, and still there many people which I didn't expected. Ambiance was nice just that lot of mosquitoes were there on open roof top so decided to sit inside. Service was nice, asked the guy what is available at that time and he told whatever is on the menu all are available π
Coming to food, as per there recommendation I order tangdi kulfi kebab and sajid-e-shan biryani.
Tangdi Kulfi kebab - Perfectly grilled chicken wrapped in aluminum foil, full of Malai and cheese. Taste was full of little bit of spice and that cheesiness was amazing in taste. Quite a unique dish and must try π
Sajid-E-Shan Biryani - it's like a traditional fusion of Hyderabad biryani and awadhi but taste was outstanding. It was not too heavy and very well marinated chicken pieces. Loved it too π
Ajwani Jhinga - This was another nice dish which was done well. Nothing over the top but basics we're right.
Overall I literally loved this place, open till late night, all the menus available, service was amazing and all the dishes were lip smacking. Decent pricing and value for money place.

The special Raan biryani is quite unique and stands out from the regular Hyderabadi Biryani fare if you crave a change. Also go for the Nalli barrah dish. The late hours are a bonus.
Ambiance was awesome, situated in Banjara Hills, food was tempting, we tried Afghani Chicken, Mutton Nalli & Raan Biryani which was mouth watering, the only thing which disappoints was Air Conditioners not working, Management should take a look & fix it, overall a great Restaurant.

This place is located on the last floor of the building. There is no guidance about the floor anywhere.
It's a huge place which has indoor,outdoor and rooftop. If you wanna enjoy food then visit before late hours of the night because it becomes a bit crowdy then. Been here four times.

TAVA FISH : It was good 3.5/5
KULFI KEBAB : This one is my favorite, only this item makes me visit this place again and again. It's creamy,juicy,soft and everything that you'll love. These are four leg pieces packed individually as a kulfi which has spices and cream in it. 5/5
NALLI BHARRA : These are two pieces of Bone with mutton which has enough gravy with it. It's very rich in taste. 4.5/5
NALLI BIRYANI : Best in the city!!!! This biryani has rich flavors, you'll find different taste as you keep eating it. This is for the pure mughlai lovers. Order this only when you aren't eating anything earlier. 4/5

Went there with my group of friends on recommendation of another foodie. The place was not very crowded and as it was sunny so we decided to sit inside. The main agenda was to have Raan Biryani but we were told that it is served only after 6 pm. So we asked the staff for his recommendation and placed order for Nalli barrah, Nalli barrah afghani and Nalli biryani. So many Nallis together :-D
The staff informed that Nalli Barrah will take some time to prepare and it was served in 20 mins. Coming to food, this place is OMG. I've not had so flavourful, succulent and tasty mutton in longest time. Nalli barrah is out of this world with amazing taste and its afghani version is for the people who love less spicy food. I can just go back to this place to have Nalli Barrah again.
Nalli Biryani was also good with almost same pieces. It is not regular Hyderabadi biryani but a more flavoured version with less masala. I felt it had overpowering aroma of rose water which made it difficult to experience other flavours but nonetheless it was good.
The place is huge with mostly outdoor seating. I am sure the place looks nice in the evening. It's a hidden gem in the heart of the city which deserves much more appreciation. I'll again go back for dinner soon to try their Raan biryani and will revise my ratings.
Edit : Tried their Raan Biryani last Sunday and it's ohh so drool-worthy. The soft shreds of flavourful mutton were all over the biryani and the rice tasted so so good with just the perfect taste.
This place is good when you've got lot of spare time as we had to weight for almost 1hour before biryani was served. The service staff informed us about waiting time in advance so its fine.

Not only this outlet opens late night till 1am,but serves one of the finest chicken appetizer I had. It's their specialty too.
The Tangdi Kulfi Kebabs are a must. You should not and I am repeating it, one should not miss these.
The chef is a genius for these. Basically, juicy chicken meats are wrapped in masala cheese and baked and wrapped in aluminum foil and the need result is super good.
Next up we tried some, Aloo paratha and they were great too.

This is a great place to eat non veg varieties. Food is delicious. Ambience is also good but outdoor is full of mosquitoes. Inside environment is good.

This place is good for both family and friends too and the best part is it will be opened until 3:30 in the morning it like midnight lifestyle similarly according to his ambience they also provide us best biryani called rann biryani however i went with my family they were polite and good part is they prepare the dish only after our order it is not prepared and the best place to hang out and worst. Part is they wont accept cards as you should be careful with that otherwise you have to run for the atm and bring the cash and quality wise is good and best foods availble we order some kulfi chicken and one other dish it is yummy in taste and price are also some what high range you have to think about u r budget and choose this

This is a brilliant place, especially for late night dinner. The ambience is simple and homely and the service is good as well. We went in a group of 8 and had ordered some kebabs for starters. I really do not recall the names but they were really hot and juicy. Then we ordered chefβs special biriyani which came in a big plate and was enough to serve all of us well. It tasted very different yet delicious. We have visited this place more twice and our experience have been good both the times. The most attractive thing is the time here. Guys give it a try, it wonβt disappoint you π

We were dead hungry and we were searching for late night food restaurants. Didn't feel like having idly or dosa.
Silver Salt was a long time bookmarked place in my to visit list. I knew that this place would be open late in the night.
The name clicked and we drove here. It was quite. Hardly any crowd.
We ordered Raan Biryani and Chicken Chakori kebab.
Service is good during this time, since it was late night I was having a thought that food might not be good. But well! It was amaaaaazing. I've never had such a flavourful and tasty Raan Biryani so far anywhere. Every spoon and every bite had succulent mutton meat! Woahhh!
Chicken Chakori kebab was juicy and well tendered. Loved the overall experience.
Service was good even in the late night. Definitely going again in the night when hunger strikes!

One of those places which serves late night Biryani. This place is everything anyone can ask for. Roof top restaurant, live screening, good food, Hookah(I dont know if they still provide this). Perfect place to hangout with your friends. Its well known for Raan Biryani(It serves for 5 though :P)

I never knew such a gem of a restaurant was hidden there in Hyderabad.

Been to this place a few times now and the food has never let me down. They have removed seesha from their list and now this place is a complete family friendly. My recent most visit was for their Sufi night, a perfect blend between the music and their food! Few of the dishes that we tried were
Starters: Murg Nizami Tikka, Murg Malai Tikka, Chicken Tikka, Murg Chakori Kabab, Nalli Barrah, Nalli Barrah Afghani and Fish Amritsari.
Mains: Raan Biryani, Murg Matka and Bhuna Ghosht.
Desserts: Rabdi and Anjeer ki kheer
With an ambience as theirs, it makes a perfect place to chill out for a lazy dinner!

The non veg food here is really delicious and innovative, the ambience is not that great though. The best dish to have here is the chicken wrapped in a foil with cheese, super delicious. The mutton curry is also really good made with all the right spices.

Been this restaurant on a couple of occasions.There is no valet parking and parking your vehicle in the basement will test your driving skills. Locating the restaurant is also an issue unless you are guided by maps or you are familiar with the area.
Food -Tasted Murgh Kali Mirch kebab, Nalli Barrah, Tangdi Kulfi Kebab, Rann Peshwari, Tawa Fish, Rann Biriyani, Mutton Biriyani, Prawns Biritani, Panner tikka and Tawa Pulao.
Food is great and best of the pick was Nalli Barrah and Tangdi Kulfi Kebab. Nalli Barrah for its wonderful taste and Tangdi Kulfi Kebab for its richness. Tangdi Kulfi Kebab is packed with loads of cheese and is very rich in taste.
Rann Peshwari is good but felt it is a over priced for the taste and quantity they served. Tawa fish is OK. Prawns biriyani is better than mutton biryani. Rann Biriyani is a bit pricey but it had an unique taste.
Overall was very satisfied with food.
Service - Very slow.May be for the kind of preparation it involves, they take a lot of time to serve after the order. Ocassionaly even the staff went missing. Service can surely be improved.
Ambience - They have multiple seating options. I guess there are 5 different options of seating that is available. Even the indoors and rooftop have options to select.The outdoor section is surely a great place in the winters and windy days.
On both the visits observed that the place is hardly occupied. Would be great place for a group of friends or even for a quiet conversation.

We went here last night to celebrate my roomie's bday, I did not have much expectations just heard that it was a decent place for late night hangouts. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The place is really good with lots of open space. and the food was delicious too. The best part of it was the portions they served were really big, we ordered a decent amount of food but had to pack half of it and take it home bcoz we could not finish it off. There are hardly any restaurants around Hyderabad where the food portions are at par with the price and taste, so i must say i liked the place. Also the Staff was pretty attentive but there was not much crowd, because of it being a weekday and late night. Still, in overall I would recommend anyone to go try it out once.
Pretty decent place for late night Hangouts (open till 4 past midnight) the food here is delicious( Biryani -on point ) ,the hukkah is good and the ambience is definitely an 8/10
Nice ambience, rooftops are always my favourite place to have dinner. As this place was not overcrowded it was a pleasant experience. Food was nice so as the staff. The food should have been more tasty and varieties should increase at this place as there is nothing as special as to visit it again. Overall you can surely visit is you want to enjoy your food in pleasant and noise free environment.

We just went randomly but for our surprise we had the raan biryani a must visit for our biryani lover
So we started to hang out in this place once we got struck on our taste buds by something called Afghani Raan Biryani. And I can tell you this is the one biryani you have been looking for. Its one of the best biryanis you will ever have.Β
Other than that this place is nothing extraordinary. Cool laid back open roof with live sports late at night with your friends on hookah and kababs(kulfi kabab is pretty good).Β
Downside- no alcohol. Drinks suck too. And service is somewhat below par as well. But that biryani makes up for it. It is simply out of this world. We keep going back only for that.

My friend took me here on a Friday evening. We went up the lift in Sufi Chambers Complex to the 6th floor. There was no attendant waiting outside, so we went inside the room towards the left and grabbed ourselves a table. A little while later the steward come up and addresses us. He tells us that the room has been booked for the evening and hence we have to seat outside. We were unaware of the seating arrangements and we complied. We took another
table outside. We then gave our orders and noticed
staircases leading up to the Hookah Lounge. So we decided to swap our table again. The ceiling of the Hookah Lounge was randomly fitted with LED lights to give the feeling a star in the night sky. They had projected music channels on a screen in one end of the lounge.
Over all pretty elegant place.
Food:
NALLI BARRAH: This was a starter sizzler. It consisted of 3 pieces of mutton nalli marinated with masala. The texture was awesome, the taste : even better. It was soo juicy and soo properly cooked, (just writing about it is making my mouth drip with saliva) I was chewing on the bone till the very end. My friend even joked, "Lets pack the bones and take it home". In short, the best mutton I have ever had in Hyderabad. Simply a must try item for all mutton lovers.
MUGHLAI GHOST: This dish had a lot of curry in it which was not too spicy. We ate it with butter naan. The meat would just melt while being touched let alone inside the mouth. The curry was perfectly thick to my liking.
Although the place is a little pricy, the food definitely did satisfy me. Would love to comeback and try out other dishes.
The prawn biriyani is amazing, along with that please do not miss on the Lebanese tikka which is breathtaking to start with...amazing experience with the ambience in the rooftop adds more to itβΊ

I got to know about this place from one of my friend. This place is amazing for hangouts. I have been to this place more than 6 times and everytime I visit this place it makes me feel so relaxed. Its not so crowdy, even if it becomes you will definitely get your own space.
The food is good here, you should definitely try the kulfi tangdi. This dish is my favorite.

Do you think you've eaten everything in Indian Cuisine? Well, defer your thought till you visit Silver Salt. Near Care Hospital Banjara Hills, this Roof Top restaurant serves some amzing Indian Dishes which i thought never existed. This place may be popular more for its Hookah Lounge, but i love their food and their Timings i.e, till 4AM. Woohooo!!
On the sixth floor of a commercial complex, the restaurant is not very prominent, so make sure you watch keenly for their bright board. Take the lift to the 6th floor. As you enter this Penthouse, you see the dining hall with white leather seating with a large LED TV playing sports mostly. Within the dining hall there is one chowkhi (sit down) for 8 people. Overall the dining hall is neatly done, its not so happening.
The outdoor seating is what excited me. Being on the 6th floor, the terrace gives a good view of the surroundings and distant citylights. There are orange leather seats with tea pie tables, not dining tables. So you have to bow a little to eat. I personally find it better than dining tables. The kitchen is right in front of you. You can clearly see whats cooking!
There is yet another roof top above the penthouse where Hookah is served. Its a real rooftop with premium seating and a star cieling and a projection TV.
THE FOOD:
Alright, my longest ambience review is over. Coming to food, they have a menu that never ends. I dont know how they manage it but you will be lost in options. We gave up and asked the waiter to suggest. He said that the star of their menu is Kulfi Tangdi. So we ordered one.
Kulfi Tangdi: It really deserves to be a star. A creative recipe with creative presentation. It consists of 4 chicken leg pieces, madly dipped in a cheese preparation wrapped in an aluminium foil like a toffee. There is a lot of cheese i tell you. And that makes the chicken to melt within the wrapper. You need to tear into it using forks. You will be taken to another world at first bite. I was just wishing it never ended, but it does :(
I eneded up scratching the foil for the left over cheese. OK i stop it here. Its one of the best chicken things i've eaten.
Next we ordred Nalli Barrah. Another unbelievably delicious dish. Very similar to our Hyderabadi Kareli Ka gosht, its a mutton leg bone with a lump of meat. Cooked in indian spices, the meat is overcooked to make it soft and succulent. Every bite gives you a satisfaction that you're not wasting your hard earned money (or your father's ;-))
It was time for Biryani. Again, they have a list of Biryanis. I went through all of them, used all my food gyan and decided to go for the Raan Afghani Biryani. The biryanis are quite expensive, seriously. They have their own reasons, but i still find them overpriced.
The Raan Afghan biryani consists of boneless pieces from the lamb's leg which is considered to be the best part ofΒ lamb. The biryani, being non-hyderabadi was less spicy and had more herbs. But it tasted amazing. Can't get better. The rice, the amount of ghee and the spice. Everything was perfect. Let alone the mutton.
We were so full at this point that we called it a day and got the left over biryani packed.
The bill surprised us a little but we were ok as we did have great food. Highly recommended :-)

Thank God for small Mercies. Silver Salt is an Oasis in the desert. It's a theme restaurant in Hyderabad that serves excellent delicacies from the North West Frontier Province.
The starters are mind-blowing. You cannot miss the Silver Salt Murgh Tandoori, Afghani Nalli Barrah, Irani Murgh and the Dry Gosht - Pahari style.
The main course gets even more interesting. Their Murgh Makhanwala is probably the best in Hyderabad. Most of restaurants in Hyderabad have no idea about this dish. Silver Salt does a fantastic job!
Shab Degh, Bhuna Gosht and Raan Biryani are top class. Do try the Afghani Kulcha and the Kashmiri Naan.
This place is overpriced and a meal for two with Coke and a Hukka would cost you 3000 bucks.

Went there with husband for a quiet dinner and found just that. With not too much I a crowd around git to sit on d rooftop with a nice breeze and lovely charming ambience. The food was truly amazing. Had murgh kulfi kebab...a must must must try.
Rooftop lounge. Very breezy. Good view. Not so bad food. It's a nice place to smoke hookah, although I just went to eat there. You can relax, enjoy the view and most importantly you can smoke till 3 in the morning(that's the first thing the manager there told me). Only problem is the delay in service. No one was there when I went and they took almost 30 mins to get the food! Been here last night after urban grill,tgik,chillax and others were shut down. This was the only one place which was open . Ambience of this place is just perfect with live screening. Tried their butter chicken and butter naan and got a bit confused as the butter chicken was entirely different from usual butter chicken taste. It was full of spices (specially dal chini) and less of butter. Food was not upto the mark but anyway ambience of this place makesup for the food.
Place is good.... Nice terrace sitting is awesome... Loved it nice view.... I had lamb Biryani .... It's so so( it's not that worth). I didn't try out hookah.... I ll do some other time.... π.... But the place ππ»ππ»ππ»
Quite complementary to the Hyderabadi culture of mid night eateries......this place is open till early in the morning......usually we would miss out this place as it is somewhere on the top floor and hidden with no signs at eye level to indicate its presence..... a roof top restaurant where you can hangout with your folks/friends smoking a hookah and dining.... food is reasonably good.....
After reading the reviews decided to explore the place. Awesome is an understatement.
We went for lunch so we were the only people there. The decor is peaceful, and sitting down to eat can be really nice here.
We tried out Nalli Barrah afghani, Raan afghani biryani and mojitos.
The mutton in both the dishes was so well cooked and flavourful, we ended up packing it for home.
Portions are huge so think well before you order!
Will repeat this one till I try out at least half the menu :)
Biryani is flawlessly scrumptious. Not satisfied with quantity. Overall, experience is good. Staff is unnecessarily busy. Donβt go if you are starving. At least, they will take half an hour to serve you in the plate.
Our go to place when its too late, the best option is go to silver salt, the sitting on rooftop is so freaking beautiful, I have went there infinite times cause of their tangdi kulfi kebab(love it) biryani is not hyderabadi it is lucknowi type, not a big fan, barra kebab was too good no doubt and about desserts they had one of my favourite dessert in Hyderabad shahi tukda but the size of the dessert right now is legit too smal for what it says. ( I just want the owner to do something about the mosquitoes on the top roof)

I loved everything, the Tangdi Malai Kabab was very delicious and served super hot. Wow to this place, amazing food, service and ambience.

Almost waited 40 mins after the order which was very disappointing. The chicken platter was absolutely amazing and also the mutton curry. Also ordered nalli biryani but it didn't tasted like a Hyderabadi biryani. It tasted like some mutton curry with zeera rice but tasted good. I personally feel the prices are bit high when compared to other such restaurants. Overall had a good food & great time.

The origin of biryani seems to be of mixed one from various regions like Persian, Awadh & Mughal. Well, whatever may be its origin, everybody loves Biryani!
Known for late-night Mughal food offerings for the nocturnal gastronorms, Silver Salt is a food joint located in the more affluent part of Hyderabad in Banjara Hills locality, started off in 2013, which has a breath-taking rooftop ambience, bound to sweep you off your feet. Since then, the name is consistent among the locals here & I was more than happy on the news of this place being re-opened post-pandemic lockdown.
Coming straight to the food, the menu boasts of some delicious Mughal creations which you won't come across any restaurant in Hyderabad. Starting off the fare with some appetizers, Tangdi Kulfi Kebabs, a tandoor preparation of meat pieces marinated in creamy yoghurt & cashew nut paste with Indian spices wrapped in foil, an absolute hit right from the first morsel as it packed loads of flavours. Next up, we had Tandoori Pomfret having an entire pomfret fish marinated in curd, cream with Indian spices & a hint of mustard, however, the tandoor could have been done a bit more as the meat was less cooked than expected, definitely a delicious fish delight. Coming to Nalli Barrah, a chef special creation having Lamb chops marinated in creamy yoghurt & cream with Indian spice base & tandoor'd till perfection, meat falling off making this dish absolutely irresistible.
Lastly, we tried Raan Biryani, an absolute showstopper at the first glance, this dish had 2 huge tender lamb legs marinated for a day and flavourful long basmati rice coated in Indian spices, easy to suffice a group of 4-6 people; the flavours hit the palate right from the first morsel making it an absolute hit.
All in all, if you want to experience pure gastronomy on the biryani front with some lip-smacking mughlai offerings, Silver Salt undoubtedly has to be on your list which can cater to the same from all fronts.

Everything was amazing a must visit place for the taste and service excellent taste and little pricey but worth 2000 for 2
Pros - one of the excellent tasty food around Banjara Hills and different types of seating options and We had butter chicken. , kulfi malai Kebabs, malai Kebabs , mutton chops and Raan biryani so delicious finger lickin good and there goes the desert - Gajar Ka halwa 4.5 /5
Cons - Lot of mosquitoes at this place if youβre sitting outdoor
They serve the OG food if youβre a foodie you should definitely try them our go to restaurant for dinner the staff is friendly they serve mouth watering dishes at affordable prices highly recommend.
I was outstation with my friends and we were coming back to the city late in the night like 1am.
We were dead hungry and we were searching for late night food restaurants. Didn't feel like having idly or dosa.
Silver Salt was a long time bookmarked place in my to visit list. I knew that this place would be open late in the night.
The name clicked and we drove here. It was quite. Hardly any crowd.
We ordered Raan Biryani and Chicken Chakori kebab.
Service is good during this time, since it was late night I was having a thought that food might not be good. But well! It was amaaaaazing. I've never had such a flavourful and tasty Raan Biryani so far anywhere. Every spoon and every bite had succulent mutton meat! Woahhh!
Chicken Chakori kebab was juicy and well tendered. Loved the overall experience.
Service was good even in the late night. Definitely going again in the night when hunger strikes!
The food test was very nice but it's too expensive.

One of the best food places in Hyderabad. A must visit for all the non-vegetarian lovers. If you're a Mutton Lover, then this place is for you. Best preferred for groups of 3 or 4. We were 12 ppl in total and we enquired about the serving size and ordered the ones that suited us.
Could've given 5 stars but they didn't greet us well initially. We got disappointed with that and they didn't allow us to the restaurant on top. We insisted that we want to dine there and they agreed later.
Coming to the food.
We ordered the below items:
Paya Soup - One of the best and unique paya soup you'll have in Hyderabad. Just sip it without any other accompainments like Naan or Roti (1 portion can be served for 2 people)
Murgh Tandoori Silver Salt - It was delicious and mouthwatering
Murgh Kali Mirch Tikka - had a unique taste and was delicious tooo
Aatish Murgh - was sooo soft and tender that it'll melt in your mouth
Special Mutton Sheekh Kabab - it was really tasty. We could feel the spices and tender mutton
Raan Biryani - never seen a biryani like this before. Was tooo tasty and the way they serve is very different. The mutton was well cooked and tender. Serves 5ppl for sure
Sajid E Shan Biryani - Chicken biryani that contains different types of Chicken (3-4 types). Different experience tooo
Kachchay Gosht ki Biryani - couldn't taste it as we were totally full with all these items
Shahi Tukda - was very tasty and prepared only after order.

PS: It takes about 30-40mins for all the above items to get to your table after ordering. We spent almost 2 and a half hours at this place. Will post more photos in next visit.
